Play INLTO with me!
I've made three superheroines from a generic kitchen sink superhero universe, send me an adversary and which heroine you choose and we'll see if these heroines get instant lossed or not. Mad scientists, aliens, mutants, wizards, ordinary criminal gangs, demons... it's a universe where any kind of enemy goes!
Our three heroines:
Spearhead, aka Naomi Yen. A master martial artist who can channel her chi through her body to achieve superhuman feats or her weapons to harm even the toughest foes. Spearhead’s chi manifests as a blue light that makes her hair, eyes, spear and javelins glow. Enthusiastic, friendly and competitive, once she gained her chi powers she leapt enthusaistically into superheroing, clad in her distinctive yellow costume with blue detailing.
Quasar, aka Yllre of Edir. A noblewoman from the planet Edir who possesses the ability to fly, generate force fields and unleash energy blasts, Yllra arrived on Earth after the destruction of her home planet alongside a small community of refugees, but her towering height and long white hair make her stand out amongst humans. Her work as a superhero originates from her sense of duty and innate morals, but she sees humans as technologically backwards and savage.
Mindwarp, aka Aniyah Williams. A newtype, Aniyah Williams spent a decade after her powers developed honing her mind and body for superheroism. She uses a variety of gadgets alongside her powers of telepathy, technopathy and short-term precognition to defeat physically superior opponents using superior strategy. This, her intelligence and her success as a businesswoman has made her arrogant and confident she can handle any threat.

My review about Miraculous World: London, At the Edge of Time

I publish my second review about a Miraculous episode. It's Miraculous World: London, At the Edge of Time.
The Paris review here
This post contains spoilers.
And now, time to read:
Plot:
This happens during the ellipse from Re-creation (5.26) between the Gabriel's suicide wish and before the Pool party scene.
It begins in the Lila/Cerise's lair (the Plage in the Catacombs). Cerise, who made an auto-akumatization into Time Stalker, comes back to the place in front of a worried and afraid Nooroo (still captive). She travels to the past (some hours ago) in the moment of the final battle (Bug Noire VS Monarch) for finding out who Ladybug is. She removes her akuma (making her lose her memories from her former akumatization) and reads her book where the Ladybug's identity is written (despite the Noiroo's objection). She reakumatizes herself into a ghost super-vilain named Spectral Looter for steal the Ladybug and Cat miraculouses (+the configured miraculouses) to Marinette. The wish Cerise makes affects the Reality AND the Time itself.
Three Bunnyx (Teen Alix, Adult Alix and Grandma Alix) are playing together a futuristic version of Chess in the Burrow when suddenly the two Future Alix disappear and the portals around Teen Bunnyx disappear too. She discovers someone is making a wish with the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses (at the Marinette's horrification from this corrupted timeline).
I've learned about new elements in the Miraculous lore by watching the special:
This Special is both the Season 5 real finale and the Season 6 prologue.
The main protagonists are in fact Ladybug and (Teen/Present) Bunnyx (Cat Noir only appears in the ending scene).
Cerise/"Iris" is akumatized herself into Time Stalker. She used her phone for insert her akuma. Her superpowers are: to teleport herself some hours ago in the past and return to the moment when she begun her travel. She has been very silent (nearly no Clara Soares' lines 🇨🇵 under this character until the end part).
Nathalie knows Marinette is Ladybug. Teen Alix already knows Matinette is Ladybug, Adrien is Cat Noir and Gabriel was Hawk Moth/Monarch. Ladybug/Bug Noire is aware Kagami knows her friend's identity (Representation retcon).
Bug Noire (thanks to a revived Nathalie's words) knows Gabriel and Tomoe had planned together the Operation: Perfect Alliance (planned on Representation, launched in Conformation/Re-creation) when nearly everybody in the world was turned into a Miraculized army for track down Ladybug and Cat Noir.
When the wish is finished, the living beings still exist (except Gabriel and Émilie who are definitely dead) and Nathalie is healed (I think Gimmi's reality rewrite power is a bad joke from Thomas Astruc). The wish has revived ex-Mayura but there are two people who disappeared in exchange (there must be another person who is revived).
Marinette is remorseful about Gabriel's self-erasure.
Bug Noire lies to Adrien by telling him: "Gabriel, Nathalie and Tomoe were Monarch's hostages. The Butterfly villain forced them to create Alliance rings, to configurate the stolen Miraculouses and finally to launch the Miraculized worldwide crisis. Bug Noire wasn't able to defeat Monarch but Gabriel had ultimately confronted the villain and made the Wish to heal the superheroin and Nathalie in exchange of his and Monarch's lives"
Kagami knows Tomoe is Monarch's accomplice. But she doesn't denounce her. Bug Noire could expose Tomoe but she doesn't too. It looks like Tomoe is the Kagami's only family link. Kagami must clear the things with her in her own way (I guess the better explanations will come on the next Special: Tokyo)
When Cerise akumatizes herself into Time Stalker (off-screen), it means Cerise has been initially unable to find Ladybug was Marinette when the living chameleon girl took the Butterfly miraculous (which was fallen to the water).
Cerise's second (auto-)akumatization is Spectral Looter. Her superpower is: the intangibility. She can pass through the walls and Chronobug doesn't manage to hit her. Under this form, she is still mute. (If the two akumatized forms spoke, Chronobug could recognizes her voice's enemy as "Lila Rossi"'s)
Both Adult Bunnyx and Grandma Bunnyx (the two future Bunnyx) disappear because of the Cerise's wish from the corrupted timeline. They don't spoil to their mini-her how the Teen Bunnyx will save the Time.
Teen Bunnyx saves Marinette from her erasure because of the evil wish.
Marinette takes the earrings in the moment of Origins (1.22-1.23) and becomes Chronobug.
During the Time crisis, Chronobug, from the Burrow, figures out Time Stalker, Spectral Looter (Cerise's second akumatized form) and the new Butterfly holder are the same person.
In the Burrow, Chronobug thought about take the Butterfly miraculous before her adversary can find it and/or prevent Gabriel to make his wish (for save him and Nathalie in her own way) but Teen Bunnyx reasons her to not do that. Because it can alterate the future (for the worst). If Marinette did that, it's possible we could have a timeline when Gabriel and Nathalie are both dead without the wish and Adrien is definitively an orphan (Amelie and Félix as the last remaining family for him).
When Chronobug and Present/Teen Bunnyx manage to take the supervillain's book, yellow Ladybug erases her name and writes "Gabriel Agreste" instead of the former's. The two superheroines give the book back to the villainess.
The Burrow is restored, due to Cerise evil plan's failure.
Marinette/Chronobug is still uncomfortable about lying to Adrien and everyone about Gabriel's fate. But the Three Bunnyx give advices to her about her choices and her future she must decide.
The Chronobug's Lucky Charm brings back Marinette to the present and the past Tikki and the earrings from Origins back to her initial moment. She has erased the Spectral Looter part.
The Time Stalker time incident is the main reason why Marinette decides to bring all the kwamis and their Miraculouses to their respective holders (and the holders become permanent holders as we see that in the epilogue of Re-creation (5.26)).
Cerise/Iris becomes feral 😡🤬👿 after deakumatizing herself and discovering her book has been falsified (Ladybug = Gabriel Agreste). 🤣 She realizes Ladybug (helped by Bunnyx) has sabotaged her plan across the time. Of course, the crazy girl remembers Gabriel is Monarch (she had already double-crossed him when she was Hoaxer (watch Revelation (5.20)). 🤣
If Gabriel silents Nooroo by the will of seal his kwami's mouth, Cerise, as the actual Butterfly miraculous holder, fully immobilizes him (like a statue) with a finger snap. She doesn't let him to have more time for celebrate her plan's failure in the actual timeline. That means Cerise treats the kwami worst than Gabriel. Cerise is not just an evil girl, she is an egotic master manipulator, she is insane, mentally unstable, impulsive, narcissistic pervert and a psychopath too. 😈 Nooroo moves again only to the moment when Cerise orders him to transform her.
When Ladybug and Cat Noir are reunited together, they talk about the Butterfly miraculous disappearance. Ladybug warns her partner about the new Butterfly supervillain. So they prepare themselves together to stop "him/her".
And despite her (first) defeat (as Chrysalis(?)), Cerise still seeks revenge against Ladybug. So it's a Cat-Mouse fame who begins (Road to Season 6).
It's the last time the SAMG animation is used in this episode.
What I liked:
The moment at the train station when Marinette and Adrien are reunified after the Gabriel's suicide wish. ❤
The Cerise anger crisis due to the fact she failed to discover the Ladybug = Marinette Dupain-Cheng thing.
The moment when the Marinette's name is replaced by "Gabriel Agreste'"s in Cerise's book. Get Trolled.
And Nooroo when he jubilates (before Cerise immobilizes him).
Chronobug's design.
Spectral Looter's design (Cerise's second auto-akumatization from the corrupted timeline).
Cerise's new civilian disguise as a blong girl with blue eye lenses. I guess it's Iris Verdi form.
The moment when Spectral Looter roasts Chronobug in the Miraculous Grand Theft in Marinette's room was so funny.
Placide I.T. (Adrien's bodyguard)'s moment. Sounds badass.
When Adrien repels Bug Noire after the "revelation" about his father's death. We can understand Adrien is saddened and angry toward his own dad.
The fact there are three (3) Bunnyx who simultaneously coexist in the Burrow: Teen Bunnyx, Adult Bunnyx and Grandma Bunnyx (I called the older Alix like that).
Marinette says her adventures happen like 10 years (4th wall). Miraculous has begun in 2015 and we are in 2024. It's 9 years.
The final scene with the new animation.
What I disliked:
The Felix/Argos' absence. He lives in London. He sees Kagami for secret dates. He was normally in London during the Miraculized crisis. I understand he and his mother must be hidden because Monarch and Tomoe knew Felix has the Peacock miraculous. And if he intervened, the boy could lose the Peacock brooch because of the Miraculized people.
The Time Travel explanations (modifying the chronology, time paradoxes) are too complicated for me.
Bug Noire is supposed to search the Butterfly miraculous in the water below the Crypt. She even told to Alya and Su-Han she transformed into Aquabug for that. But it's off-screen.
Cerise transforms with the Butterfly miraculous happens off-screen (We will see her form in Season 6).
The weird fact for me is Cerise doesn't remember what she have done during her auto-akumatization as Time Stalker (even deakumatizing herself). But Alya, Nino, Marinette and Kagami (when they rejected Hawk Moth/Shadow Moth/Monarch's akumas and removed Betterfly's kamikos) had kept her memories. Is it because Cerise is a teenage girl and Gabriel was an adult ?
What I want to know for the future:
How Cerise has managed to take the Butterfly miraculous ? Her future self (as Time Stalker) hasn't done nothing but stalking Bug Noire and write the Marinette's name in her book.
Cerise/Iris Butterfly miraculous full transformation (and her full form)
In this Special, Cerise (who is wearing a new disguise) akumatizes herself into Time Stalker in the evening (just some hours after Gabriel/Monarch's disappearance). Meanwhile, In the Re-Creation last scene, Cerise is surprised by a supernatural light in her lair (it happens AFTER the Time Stalker incident). What is it ?
ML Theory:
It's possible Re-creation Cerise has picked up the brooch when Bug Noire and Nathalie were in the room where the kwamis were imprisoned. She has possibly deactivated the system cameras with Tomoe's laptop for preventing to be caught ans for infiltratring the Crypt (before Bug Noire cataclysms everything). It happened before her first (auto-)akumatization as Time Stalker.
I even think Cerise can transforms into the Butterfly supervillainess (while she keeps her civilian form intact)
My personal aggregation on the London Special:
I think this special episode is good. It's the transition from season 5 to season 6. Meanwhile, it lets some questions without answers: How Cerise has really managed to take the Butterfly miraculous ? When Adrien will be ready to accept the truth if he finds out ?
Let's waiting the Season 6.
Result: 7/10
The salting moment:
The annoying detail I heard about from the fandom is: the fact Marinette/Bug Noire decides to lie to Adrien about "Gabriel is dead as a hero".
Some of you has been pissed off about that. But I think ONE thing: An Adrien who knows his dad was Monarch will be shocked, mentally devastated and outraged. He would hate his dad AND Ladybug. And Butterfly Cerise would have good reasons for use him as her own advantage for destroy Ladybug and take revenge against Marinette.
It's too easy to blame Marinette for this detail but there is this fact:
Nathalie, Tomoe, Kagami, Félix, Marinette, Alix and Cerise know Gabriel is Monarch.
So the all of them can tell to Adrien. But Tomoe (as Monarch's accomplice) should be jailed.
Nathalie should be jailed.
Marinette, Felix and Kagami keep the truth secret from Adrien.
Alix could tell to Adrien, but her older selves adviced her to not do that for the Time's safety.
Cerise is the only perfect candidate to reveal to everyone (and especially to Adrien) the Monarch's real identity. But instead to expose Ladybug's lie, Cerise preferred to make an evil, sneaky and dangerous plan to stalk Ladybug by time travel and directly stealing to her the Miraculouses for make her own wish (just some hours after the final battle).
Adrien will knows the "Monarch = Gabriel Agreste" thing in another time. Thomas Astruc and the writers will continue to surprise us/you.

Ok, "Kevin Can Fuck Himself" being on Netflix made more people give it a chance, that's true.
Still. I cannot stress enough how much of an underappreciated pearl its first season remains.
People that love(d) "WandaVision" seriously need to check it out. Not children though. KCFH is not for children.
What do these series have in common when they're so tonally different?
Well, their most obvious similarity is the way they utilize the multicam slapstick sitcom format to express dread, women's dread.
They both criticize the male gaze and the way pop culture limits the role of women, the way societal norms dictate their existence and on screen portrayals.
In "WandaVision" you see a superheroine that is so traumatized and preoccupied with grief that she traps an entire town into a fantasy world to cope.
In "Kevin Can Fuck Himself" you have the emotionally abused wife of your typical misogynistic sitcom, who is so angry at her predicament that she jumps out from her genre conventions to murder her husband.
Both women go from one identity to another only to find themselves just as trapped, just as limited.
In the process, they both hurt people and definitely not those who deserve it the most. They briefly become antiheroines. Yet, you cannot help but side with them.
Now, another similarity--since this is Tumblr--is the lesbian sidekick. Of course, Patty is not a cartoonish villainous witch (Agatha wasn't originally meant to be a villain either). She's quite the realistic character, overcoming her own internalized misogyny and compulsory heterosexuality.
Both Agatha and Patty have a thing for the their respective protagonists. In Agatha's case, this is implied during the last episode of the series since the very first thing Agatha does when she's defeated and put under Wanda's spell is flirt with her. In Patty's case, the romantic feelings become canonical during the second half of the season.
#kevin can fuck himself#wandavision#the other series that comes close (as a premise) is 'physical' with rose byrne

eyy fellow freak ace spotted! actually made me exited to see that, so sending a virtual highfive* and also inquiring to see what the villainess yuri you were talking about was... to expand my research
*😎🙏😎 (the highfive in question)
heyy freaky aces unite! *high five* always excited to meet more people like me <3
Here's all the villainess yuri I've read or am currently reading, in no particular order (keep in mind none of these are perfect I just like 'em):
"I'm In Love With The Villainess" (reading) is probably the best known and kinda defined the isekai-villainess-yuri subgenre AFAIK, POV girl gets isekai'd into a visual novel as the heroine but prefers the villainess over any of the male leads. And it well deserves its fame, it's a sweet romantic drama that also touches on serious subjects both in the fantasy setting and the real world. TW: Incest (side characters in one arc only), allegorical trans struggles (ditto).
"Please Bully Me, Miss Villainess" (reading) starts off looking like just a perspective flip of IILWTV, with the POV girl iseka'd *as* the villainess and forced to bully the heroine, but then it goes in a very different direction. Extremely cute with heart-rending drama, and a frequently changing status quo that gives a real sense of progress. TW: romanticized bullying (but the bully is being forced to do it and is extra nice to the victim afterwards as apology).
"The Villainess and Miss Demon Lord" (reading) has *two* girls isekai'd into different villainesses, one a rich bullying noble and the other a powerful demon. The romance is slower burning but it's getting really interesting drama and worldbuilding out of the two girls' different dark fates.
"Superwomen in Love! Honey Trap and Rapid Rabbit" (finished) is about a tokusatsu-style superheroine battling an evil organization, and in the first arc she's joined by a former general from that same evil organization who defected after falling in love with her. More comedic but with genuinely awesome action, and appeals to my fondness for toku stylings. TW: suicide (by a sympathetic villain in the final arc).
"The Demon Girl Next Door" (reading) is about a sickly girl who learns she's the heir to a demon clan whose power was sealed away by magical girls, at first she tries to defeat the local magical girl but soon they team up to try and solve the mysteries of their demon-inhabited town. Extremely cute and mostly slice-of-life comedy. TW: chronic illness.
"Gal Maid & Villainess: Only Milady's Happy End Will Win!" (reading) is another visual novel isekai, but this time the POV girl is reborn as the villainess's maid, and tries to help her befriend the heroine so she can get a happy ending. Comedic, cute, and seems to be going for a polyam route (fingers crossed) since the villainess and heroine both seem to have feelings for the maid!
"I Love Amy" (finished) is about a shy girl who gets dragged into a creepy and casually violent yandere girl's plans to get close to the boy she's obsessed with, only for the two girls to fall in love instead. Starts out toxic and deals with some very dark subjects, but manages to ultimately still be sweet with both girls have rewarding character growth. TW: violence, stalking, kidnapping, pet death, abusive parents, mental illness.
"Mage And Demon Queen" (finished) is set in a videogame-esque world where heroes try to slay the demon queen, but follows a mage who's in love with her instead, and their eventual fight to establish peace between humans and demons. This one has it all, comedy, cuteness, drama, action, spice! It also starts out unhealthy but again gives both girls satisfying development. TW: kinky sex (not shown on-panel but implied with zero subtlety).
"My Sweet Archenemy" (reading) is about a supervillain who's very in love with a superhero who doesn't really take her seriously, and later they also become friends in their secret identities without realizing it. Mainly comedy early on, but seems to be shifting more towards drama.
"Hero or Demon Lord? Let me Choose!" AKA "Decide to Hero or Devil" (finished) is about a girl who gets isekai'd as both the hero and the demon lord at the same time, switching between the roles and trying to keep the hero's sidekick and demon lord's lieutenant from realizing the truth. Mostly just comedy with even the drama being played for cuteness.

Day 11 is Cat Crimes! A new 3 parter
@maribat-calendar-events
Damian sat in the Batcave trying not to panic. Marinette had called him around twenty minutes ago to say that she needed help before the line disconnected. He had managed to trace where the call had come from but couldn't track where she had gone next.
He had first met her on an online gaming website and she had absolutely trashed him on every game he had challenged her at. After a month of solid defeats he had accused her of being a thirty year old loser living in his parent’s basement, only to be sent a video chat request twenty seconds later.
He had been so angry that he had accepted the invitation without thinking, only to be met by one of the prettiest girls he had ever seen. She spoke haughtily in accented English, saying that she did live with her parents, but only because she was sixteen and it was ‘an attic, thank you very much’.
She had glared at him, waiting for his response and he had blurted out the first thing in his head. Unfortunately, it was embarrassingly sappy and he asked if she wanted to go on a date. Fortunately, she didn't seem put off by his abruptness, flushing prettily even as she shrugged and said okay.
After three months of long distance dating, he had missed several video dates in a row. After the first missed one, Marinette was concerned. After the second, she was annoyed. The third missed date and she was spitting mad, letting him know that if he missed another one it was over.
The fourth missed date had been the last straw for Marinette, but she answered his call when he dialed, only for him to stutter and dodge questions. He panicked - Marinette was the best girlfriend. She listened to him rant about the unfair standards of practice at some of the local animal shelters and then helped him come up with plans to sort them. She stayed up late so they could talk after his school day finished and made sure she was available during her lunch hour for the start of his day.
When she told him flatly that he either told her the truth or admitted that it wasn't working, he had blurted out that he had been stuck on patrol with his brother and the villain they were facing had used a gas that took time to clear from the system. She had gone completely silent and he had begged her not to dump him, he promised to be honest if she would just give him another chance.
Looking back on it, he realised that perhaps the fear toxin hadn't quite been cleared from his system, but it had felt like the end of the world when she had threatened to end things.
What he hadn't been expecting was for her to open a magic portal and step into his room. He stared at the heroine in front of him, a high ponytail and glasses, wings attached to her feet and a red spotted suit with a white stomach. The suit melted away and there stood his girlfriend of three months, who threw herself into his arms and held him tightly.
It had been a long night of explanations, Marinette confessing that she was a Parisian superheroine that used magic to fight villains whilst Damian explained in hushed tones that he was the latest Robin. They were both exhausted when she called back her transformation to head home, but smiled when he asked if she would come back to see him again soon.
On their third in person date two months later, he had kissed her and everything had felt absolutely perfect. She was everything he could ever want in a girlfriend and, without any secrets to cause a rift, they were practically indestructible. And that feeling probably led to their increasingly risky date ideas.
It started small, with her sneaking into the manor to have date night, and escalated to her portalling him to Paris on top of the Eiffel Tower, or opening them both a portal to somewhere else in the world. It was going perfectly, neither of their families the wiser.
In fact, Damian's family didn't even know he had a girlfriend, much less a magically powered one. Marinette said that she'd told her parents about her online boyfriend, but as they didn't know about her tenure as Ladybug they didn't know she was meeting with him regularly.
For their first anniversary she had arranged for a picnic in Paris, followed by actually meeting her parents. They had been welcoming and kind, asking if Damian wanted to learn to bake which he had truthfully told them he would try in the future.
It was now their second anniversary and Marinette had told him that she would be traveling to Gotham for a two week stay. But, in keeping with tradition, she had plans to sneak him away even though they were both now eighteen.
All of this led to their current problem. Marinette had used the black cat Miraculous to sneak around Gotham at night, as it was much stealthier than a lot of the other transformations. He had seen her in the magical leather only once before but it had certainly inspired some…interesting dreams.
But it had gone sideways, because one of his idiotic brothers had spotted a woman in a cat costume and immediately called for backup. And so a merry chase began, Marinette leaping erratically through Gotham in an attempt to lose them. She didn't want to add Kaalki to her transformation and portal away because it would give away that she had powers.
Growling in frustration, Damian made the decision to suit up and ‘join’ his brothers in hunting down this new Catwoman. They sounded slightly relieved to have backup because Marinette was wily and determined and kept slipping through their fingers.
Once Damian joined them, they decided to split up and try to capture her by boxing her in. Unfortunately, they decided that splitting into pairs would be sufficient, so Damian was stuck with Jason, who was spitting mad because the ‘little minx’ had mocked his outfit before sticking something onto his helmet.
“When I get my hands on her, I'm gonna take her straight to Arkham,” the older vigilante growled. “I don't care how hot she looks in the leather, nobody messes with the helmet.”
“Tt, at least it wasn't your jacket,” Damian said, annoyed that Jason had commented on his girlfriend's attractiveness. “And we won't catch her if you keep getting angry, you buffoon.”
The insult worked a little too well, Jason swiping for Damian instead of watching for Marinette, but it led to Damian leaping to the next roof just as she did. They landed in a tangle of limbs, though he was careful to ensure she was on top.
“Well hello there bird boy,” she purred, eyes glowing blue and hand on his chest. The others were shouting their congratulations that he had brought her down but he could only focus on her body against his. “What a mew-tiful face you have.”
“Alright you knock off Catwoman, get off of him and keep your hands where I can see them,” Dick said in a wary voice. Damian didn't move as Marinette slowly stood, limbs moving like liquid. Once she was upright, Damian did the same. “That's it, now, tell us who you are and what you think you're doing out here.”
“Can't a girl just be looking for a good time?” She said, batting her eyelashes. She winked at Damian and he felt a flush spread up his neck. He thought he was used to her in tight clothing but it was different when she was trying to fluster him. “You look like you could show a girl a good time, handsome.”
“Yeah right, are you delusional, lady? Robin here wouldn't know what to do with one if he had one,” Jason sneered. Damian shot him a glare but Marinette took advantage of their distraction to slip around him and brush a kiss to his jaw.
“What a shame,” she cooed from behind Damian, and the others shouted in outrage as she saluted them and leaped away. Halfheartedly he tried to catch the end of her braid, to say that he had tried, but she was quick.
“Hell, she's fast. Okay, new plan: we try to box her in from four corners,” Dick said, pointing at the different rooftops he wanted them to head for. “She doesn't have a grapple so we use that to our advantage.”
But after ten minutes of frustration, they had to admit she was too quick for them to surround, so had to settle for just out and out chasing her. Damian volunteered to try and guess where she was going and block the escape and the others readily agreed.
It took several more minutes but Damian positioned himself in a little alcove on a roof and silenced his comms to call her. She answered breathlessly and confirmed that she could lose them soon. One of the benefits of being in a magical catsuit was that she didn't tire as easily, and it was beginning to show in the laboured breathing of his brothers.
Another fifteen minutes passed but she managed to drop onto his roof without a tail. She hurried over to him and began apologising and hugging her arms around her waist.
“That is not how I wanted to meet your brothers,” she hissed when he pulled her into the shadowy alcove. Pressed safely into his arms, he felt his heart rate settle into a more sedate rhythm. He hushed her for a moment before unmuting his comms.
“Are you saying that you three lost her?” he hissed, and Marinette shoved her hand over her mouth to silence a hysterical giggle. After several protests from the trio, he silenced them in as angry a voice as he could manage whilst relief was coursing through him. “Fine, I've had enough of your incompetence, you imbeciles. We should reconvene at the Batcave to see if we can track where she went.”
Once he was sure that they were heading home, he muted his comms again and turned back to Marinette. Unable to help himself, he kissed her fiercely and she returned the kiss with just as much fervour. It was several minutes later that they broke apart and Damian had trouble remembering what he was supposed to be doing.
“You should transform now, whilst they're distracted and portal back to your hotel room,” he murmured, cupping her face with his hand. “Happy anniversary, beautiful.”
“It would have been happier if your brothers hadn't ambushed me on my way to your place,” she replied grumpily, but gave him a smile and another kiss before grabbing the horse Miraculous out of her baton. “If you find time away from them tonight, you know where I'm staying.”
Damian watched in awe as she vanished into the portal she created - it never ceased to amaze him that his girlfriend was the guardian of the Miraculous and could command an army of tiny gods.
He sighed when she was gone, not looking forward to the trouble that waited for him at home. But, he thought with a grin, maybe it would be worth it for the chance to see Marinette after.
_ _ _
The Batcave was a riot of noise when Damian returned and he growled with impatience. It wasn't even his night to be on patrol, he had planned it so that he was free to spend time with Marinette uninterrupted. But instead he was going to have to throw his stupid brothers off her trail before he could enjoy her company.
“I'm telling you, she just vanished!” Tim was shouting. “And I can't see where she could possibly have gone, because she managed to choose the only rooftop I don't have a clear shot of!”
“Tt, there's a rooftop you do not have eyes on? Unusually sloppy of you, Red,” Damian said as he strode into the cave.
“Hey, I can't have eyes literally everywhere,” Tim snapped back, glaring at Damian. “I'm more concerned that she knew where to disappear!”
“Why were you all chasing her anyway?” Damian said with forced nonchalance. “It's not like this is the first time a masked stranger was running loose on the rooftops.”
“Yeah, ordinarily we would probably just warn whoever it was to clear off, but we had a call about a string of robberies and she was the only one we came across. She was secretive as hell when we questioned her and then ran off before we could grab her.”
“But she could be innocent,” Damian offered, trying to ignore the panic building in his gut.
“It's not a risk we can take,” Dick interjected, flipping angrily through files of known cat burglars. “She left someone with a severe stab wound, he would have bled out if we hadn't got there in time.”
Damian froze before groaning and fisting his hands in his hair. He was going to have to come clean, and explain that it couldn't have been her. That he knew the strange cat woman and, in fact, had known her very well for years.
“We should be looking at all possible suspects,” he hedged, trying to delay the inevitable even as he sent a message to Marinette explaining the issue. All he got back was a string of expletives and an ‘I’ll be right there'.
“We should also follow the only solid lead we have,” Tim argued.
“...it wasn't her,” Damian said quietly. Too quietly, because the others continued as though he hadn't said anything. So he said it again, but much louder and they all stopped what they were doing to stare at him.
“Look, Demon Spawn, I get that she thought you were cute or whatever but she nearly killed a man. Hooking up with a villain isn't worth it, even if she is the only person who would ever want to,” Jason said with exasperation obvious in his tone.
Damian didn't get a chance to respond because a portal opened up next to him at that exact moment. Dick screeched and flung himself out of his chair and Jason swore before training his gun on the woman who stepped out of it.
“Hold on,” Damian shouted, stepping in front of Marinette. To her credit, she didn't smirk, or try to taunt any of them, which was her usual method of dealing with her discomfort. “I'm trying to explain why she didn't do it!”
“Robin, she's a dangerous, unknown woman who probably robbed a bunch of shops and homes tonight,” Dick said, stepping forward to try and separate the pair.
“That's what I'm trying to tell you idiots,” Damian said through gritted teeth. “She's not unknown. This is my girlfriend, she is in Gotham to celebrate our anniversary and ran into you before we could meet.”
“Nice try kid, we would know if you had a girlfriend,” Jason said, refusing to lower his gun. Damian growled in frustration, but Marinette laid a hand on his arm and he subsided.
“Um, actually, we've been dating for two years,” she said meekly, peeking out from behind him. “I'm sorry for the mix up, I'm Ladybug, from Paris? D- Robin told me you were trying to find me because you thought I had hurt someone, but I really only came to spend time with him. It's just unfortunate that I ran into you three before I could get to him this time.”
“Yeah, I'm not buying it,” Tim said from the computer. “And I've already called for help, so don't even think of trying whatever voodoo you tried on Robin on the rest of us. Whatever you're using to control him, we will figure it out, and we will hold you accountable.”
“Crepes, this is why I told you we should have at least introduced them to the idea of you dating,” Marinette hissed at Damian.
“Well if you hadn't been gallivanting around the rooftops of Gotham with the black cat, this wouldn't even have been an issue!” He argued back.
“Oh no, don't turn this back on me! They're your brothers, I'm just the innocent bystander who wanted to plan something nice. If I could have told them what I was doing when they found me, I wouldn't have had to run!”
The pair bickered even as the other three grew more confused. They'd never seen this side of Damian before, and they weren't sure what to believe at this point. They were mostly relieved when the Zeta tube at the back of the cave whirred to life and Wonder Woman stepped into the cave.
“Red Robin, you called for assistance, where is the threat? Superman is on his way but- Guardian? What are you doing here?” Wonder Woman asked in confusion, stopping in her tracks. “I had thought you were retired from hero work, did you change your mind about teaming up?”
“Um, no, I'm actually in Gotham for vacation?” Marinette said with a weak smile. “I came to visit Robin but got caught up in something else.”
“I wasn't aware you knew Robin, nor that the Batfamily were aware of your tenure as a heroine,” Wonder Woman said, clearly surprised.
“Yeah, well, the thing is, I only really know Robin. Well, and I know Superboy, but only because Dam- Robin insisted.”
“Wait, no, does she know your identity?” Red Hood demanded, gun dropping to his side as he stared at the pair, slack-jawed. He probably would have said more but the tube whirred back to life and spat out Superboy.
“Hey, Superman's on his way, he sent me ahead to- Lady Noire?”
It took several more minutes, and a lot of outright laughter from Jon, but eventually everyone calmed down enough to sit down. Wonder Woman left after it became apparent there was no real threat, but Jon stayed to help explain about Marinette, who detransformed and introduced herself.
Eventually, Damian was allowed to drag Marinette into the manor proper, so that they could salvage the remainder of their anniversary, but Dick and Jason both promised that he would be catching hell when Bruce got home.
“Well, that was exciting,” Marinette said with a giggle, pulling Damian down onto his bed. “But hopefully now it will be easier to see each other.”
“Hmph, they will be insufferable for weeks, I assure you,” he replied, settling comfortably against his headboard before pulling her into his lap. He pressed a kiss to her collarbone and she shivered in his arms. “I must commend you on getting the better of the three of them, even before I arrived to assist.”
“Thanks,” she beamed, threading her fingers through his hair as he continued to press kisses along her shoulder and up onto her neck. “But I'm glad they're not still hunting for me. I really did want to enjoy our anniversary together.”
“Yes, I gathered as much from your choice in magical suits. Have I ever told you before just how irresistible you are in leather?”

-Nicest girl in the office but very unfunny.
-Disappears without reason very often.
-Lives alone in a little flat and has a golden retriever dog called Krypto.

-Former nurse during the war in the Pacific Ocean and in the Philippines.
-Loves children and dogs
-Tomboyish trails. Not quite elegant.
-Music-Hall fan, Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart fan
-Favorite books: Scarlet Pimpernel adventures, Jane Austen, Upton Sinclair and Virginia Wolf, somewhat eclectic.
-Amateur writer of children's stories, with characters such as DeeDog and the Komfy Dragon.
-She greatly admires her boss, Perry Weiss. A 1940s very liberal Republican style journalist, chief editor of the Daily Planet. She despises her deputy boss Cat Grant.
-Ambiguous relationship with her other boss Louis Lane. Clara has a good friendship with Louis and hides that she is very much in love with him. At the same time, she competes a lot with Mr. Lane and is annoyed by his political ideas and his paternalism.
-Strange friendship with young millionaire Bruce Wayne, something that is very surprising for the people in the Daily Planet newsroom.
-Always good scoops but never appears in the front line and too stubborn and independent to grow fast in the newspaper.
-Progressive quaker like her fathers.
-Civil rights supporter.
-Dislikes General McArthur, dislikes even more Lex Luthor
-Loves Eleanor Roosevelt but also Governor Dewey.
-Hates guns

-Can fly to a Mach 100 speed.
-Acts as Superwoman since October 1945.
-Defeated Zod invasion in July1946.
-Initial bad relationship with Batman but now close friends and allies. Together with Flash they conform the Justice League.
-Didn't act as Superwoman during the World War II because she was afraid of her powers. After the discovery of the Holocaust and the atomic bombs she decided to step in and showed herself to the world on autumn 1945.
-Worst enemy: Lex Luthor, heir of Nikola Tesla, rocket engineer & CEO of TELCORP (Tesla-Luthor Co.)
-Deeply in love with Louis Lane, who strongly rejects the superheroine.

FAMILY & ORIGINS
The El family & Krypton
Krypton was a decadent civilization located on a moon near a large gaseous planet in the Orion belt, next to a green sun. In the past they had visited Earth and other planets expanding civilization, but their penchant for slavery, war, resource extraction and violence caused many of these projects to fail. Even in 10,500 BC the Kryptonians almost caused the terraforming of the Earth, melting the poles and destroying Atlantis and other civilizations, causing among other things the end of the Ice Age. Nearly 99% of humanity perished during that Kryptonian attack.
Over the centuries the Kryptonians lost the fuel necessary to travel across space and ended up confined to their planet, dedicated to warfare, genetic engineering-creating clones whose organs they needed to extend their lives-to pleasure and to exploiting the subsoil of their planet. The Kryptonians also established a dictatorship with a caste system based on genetic engineering and prohibited natural reproduction.
Jor-El and Lara were a couple of scientists critical of the system and supporters of the abolition of the caste system. They also fought against genetic engineering, violent repression, and the permanent destruction of the ecosystem. After a series of terrible earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and gas outbursts, it became clear that Krypton's core was collapsing, due to the energetic drilling and magnetic energy used in Krypton's industry. The Planet was doomed but the ruling caste ignored it. Jor-El and Lara had a daughter, Kala-El in a natural way against all the rules of Krypton. Lara managed to manufacture a small ship capable of making a space jump to save her daughter from the end of Krypton. General Zod stole her design and managed to build a larger fleet of ships but Jor-El managed to sabotage them and send the fleet to the Phantom Zone, a black hole near Krypton.
Lara decided to send Kala to Earth, confident that the culture of this planet was much more hopeful and kinder, and less prone to the mistakes of Krypton than other distant inhabited planets closer to them. Jor-El preferred to send her to New Genesis, another distant inhabited planet, because there Kala would receive less radiation and develop less extraordinary abilities that would allow her to live a normal life, but eventually Lara convinced him. During her journey to Earth and her growing period under a yellow sun, Kala would develop wonderful powers and could live a long life in the service of mankind, rehabilitating Krypton's legacy.
Within hours of Kala's birth, she was placed in the small ship, accompanied by the robot guide Kelex, whose memory was imprinted with the consciousness of Jor-El and Lara, as well as nearly all of Krypton's cultural heritage. They included several Kryptonian artifacts inside, such as a nearly indestructible ceremonial female ancestral caped suit with the crest of the House of El on its chest.
The ship was launched just hours before Krypton's demise and travelled through space for thirty years...

Joe&Martha Kent, Kansas life
Joe and Martha Kent were a Quaker farming couple whose farm was struck by the pod carrying Kala-El the 28th of February of 1918. Although owners of substantial property they were a very humble, cooperative, austere, devout, and civil rights-minded people. Martha Kent was a descendant of Kansas abolitionist guerrilla fighter John Brown. They both raised Clara very lovingly and unwilling to ask too many questions about the baby's origin. Clara was a very sickly child as her body did not adapt to the Earth. She was an affectionate and obedient girl and devoured books. The Kent family were avowed supporters of the New Deal and Joe Kent was a member of the local farmers union.
With puberty Clara developed very fast, and her superpowers began to appear. She soon began to excel in swimming and ballet, while still questioning her origins, but Joe forbade her to pursue a professional career to prevent her from taking advantage of her powers, and moreover he forbade her to use her superpowers to help others, fearful of humanity's reaction and wary of savior messiahs in the era of interwar dictators.
Clara rebelled against her father but eventually gave in, fearful of her own abilities and understanding her parents' position. During these years, Clara didn't fit in very well, but she had two best friends, Pete Ross, with whom she was secretly in love, and Lana Lang. Pete didn't know about her superpowers, but Lana did. In 1936 Joe Kent died of a heart attack, devastating her daughter. Clara was unable to go to college after her father's death and worked as a teacher and nurse's aide in Smallville. Her engagement to Pete Ross, her teenage sweetheart failed in 1939 when she revealed her powers to Pete and he panicked, although he later promised to keep the secret. In those times of sadness, Kelex, the Kryptonian robot, was activated, explaining to Clara her true origins, which filled her with confusion.
Between 1939 and 1941 Clara lived in Canada and Alaska searching for the Fortress of Solitude, a strange place Kelex was pointing, but with the outbreak of World War II she decided to enlist as a nurse in the Pacific, refusing to use her powers except to help the wounded, fearing to cause more harm than good. In late 1944, the hospital ship on which he was traveling, the USS Shuster, was torpedoed by the Japanese. Clara jumped into the water and managed to keep the ship afloat with her super strength until she managed to beach it. No one understood how miraculously the ship had stayed afloat and even levitated. The incident was kept secret. Clara got a permit to return home and she revisited Alaska where she found the Fortress of Solitude with the help of Kelex. There she was able to better understand her origins and began to train her superpowers.
After learning about the Holocaust first and the atomic bombs later, Clara decided to become Superwoman and help others with her superpowers dressed in the ceremonial Kryptonian costume of her ancestors. Her mother Martha supported her decision. She relocated to Metropolis, where in September 1945 she was hired as an assistant reporter by Major Louis Lane, who had just returned from Europe.

On October 1, 1945, Superwoman unveiled herself to the world and caused a huge sensation. The world was changed forever. Superwoman introduced herself to the newly formed United Nations, explaining her origins and her desire to help others and to stay out of political conflicts except to protect civilians.
Clara Kent began her double life as a journalist and as Superwoman. In July 1946, she defeated the invasion of General Zod and the survivors of Krypton. She also had to face other enemies such as the Intergang - an alliance of all organized crime in Metropolis and Gotham, Atomic Skull - an ex-Nazi agent with terrifying technology, Lex Luthor who began to develop his hatred and paranoia towards the superheroine, and his creations such as Metallo.

DAILY PLANET CHARACTERS
Perry Weiss, a major shareholder and editor in chief of the Daily Planet. Born in Odessa in 1886. Jewish immigrant from humble origins who became a skilled journalist and founded the Daily Planet as a tool of the liberal wing of the Metropolis Republican Party to unseat the city bosses of the time. Still a staunch liberal, he supported Roosevelt in 1932 and 1936, is an ally of Mayor LaGuardia. He won the Pulitzer Prize in the 1920s for defending the innocence of Sacco and Vanzetti. Friend and ally of Louis Lane's father. He is very demanding with his employees but is very fond of Clara. He admires and defends Superwoman despite Louis Lane's distrust. Best friend of Cat Grant.
Cat Grant, Co-chair of Perry Weiss, Pulitzer winner, closeted lesbian, and Ayn Rand Fan. Born 1901, she comes from a fine family of Metropolis Knickerbockers. She is like Louis the least liberal element of the newspaper. To protect herself she married a very old friend of her father who helped her lead a double life. For twenty years she lived with a painter named Margaret Ivy. Considered the best writer of the Daily Planet, in addition to being a journalist she has published two novels. Very elegant and popular in intellectual circles. She is tremendously authoritarian. She mistreats Clara a lot because she does not respect her authority and because of her different political ideas, but as Clara grows as a journalist and Cat Grant suspects that she is Superwoman, she will protect her and push her forward without Clara knowing it. Best friend of Perry Weiss
Jimmy Olsen and Lucy Weiss, best friends of Clara.
Jimmy is a junior urban photographer. He comes from a town in Massachusetts. He is 7 years younger than Clara. He is a party animal, friendly, generous, and somewhat naive. Yet he is a skilled photographer who has been able to capture the worst of the night and day of Metropolis. Miraculously he always gets the best pictures of Superwoman (Clara helps him a little). Very democratic and complains about working for a newspaper that is too conservative for his taste. Adores Clara whom he treats as his big sister. It doesn't even cross his mind that she is Superwoman. Jimmy thinks that Louis is a snob and a bigot.
Lucy is a senior political photographer and the only woman on photo reporting on the Daily Planet who works outside the fashion department. She is the eldest daughter of Perry Weiss. She is an intrepid photojournalist who gets overseas passes and has been to several military conflicts. A loyal friend of Clara, and a very serious and professional woman. She is suspicious of Clara's double identity but would never say anything. She is the same age as Clara and a lover of jazz and the more alternative circuits of Metropolis.

-His father is a self-made tycoon who started as democrat in the Tammany Hall and then switched to republican. Close ally of Mayor LaGuardia.
-Fought in the European theater during World War II.
-Conservative republican opposed to his father liberal republican views, loves McArthur, who he thinks should be the next President.
-In the past he had a good opinion of Lex Luthor. He saw him as an innovator and freedom fighter, but his opinion changed when Luthor kidnapped him to set a trap for Superwoman.
-Perry Weiss favorite reporter.
-Won the Pulitzer Prize in 1941, for his articles about the first defeat of the Intergang.
-First person to interview Superwoman.
-Very nice and paternalistic to Clara. Louis pushes Clara's career forward despite Cat Grant's opposition. He is also secretly in love with Clara. Although he rejects Superwoman and suspects she is the same person as Clara, he deludes himself and rejects these suspicions.
-Tired of New Deal Politics, anticommunist.
-"a brilliant and kind man" for most of the Daily Planet staff, a "terrible asshole" for many others like Jimmy Olsen.
-Strongly rejects Superwoman and other heroes.
-Sometimes Clara really hates him.
-Famous line "Neither reds nor capes".
-He lives a bizarre love triangle with Clara Kent and Superwoman. Although he publicly rejects the superheroine, he also desires her and he and Superwoman have had moments of passion, which Louis feels guilty about because he is married and because of his religion. On the other hand, he is in love with Clara Kent as much as he rejects the figure of Superwoman. He deludes himself about the identity of both. A bit James Stewart in Vertigo, which destabilizes and infuriates Clara.

CURRENT AND PAST ENEMIES
Lex Luthor
Rocket engineer, CEO of TELCORP and Heir of Nikola Tesla. A Brilliant scientist who defines himself as a "radical humanist"...but in the early 30s supported closely fascism to stop "imperialism" and "usury" but later changed his mind and move closer to the USSR to fight "predatory western capitalism". Publicly, he is a tycoon and scientist loyal to the United States and works closely with the government. The world's greatest philanthropist. Loving father and husband. Hates Superwoman to death and believes she spells the end of humanity. Paranoid and ruthless but convinced that he does everything for the greater good.
art by https://www.deviantart.com/gus-art
General Zod & Faora
Political dissidents like the El on Krypton on the other hand believed that Krypton's only salvation lay in emigrating and invading, terraforming, and exterminating other planets. They almost succeeded in a coup d'état but after their failure they and their henchmen tried to flee by space jumping their ships, Jor-El managed to sabotage the launch and send them to the Phantom Zone. Over the years they managed to escape and arrived on Earth in 1946, shortly after Clara showed herself to the world as Superwoman. They tried to exterminate all humanity, but Superwoman and the armies of Earth managed to defeat them. Their invasion caused 5,000 human casualties but could have caused complete extermination. The experience was traumatic for Clara because she had to send Zod and Faora back to the Phantom Zone where they would surely die. Zod, Faora and their henchmen had not yet developed the full powers of a yellow sun like Earth's and so several of them were killed by human bombs and missiles. Their remains were stored by Russians and Americans. Superwoman managed to expel all Kryptonian technology and weaponry into space so that humans would not use it for warfare.
Doomsday
A truly near-indestructible abomination.
Perhaps from Krypton's past? Perhaps created by mistake by human scientists?

art by https://www.deviantart.com/fernando-damasio & https://www.deviantart.com/kristherion
The Toyman
Winslow Schott, former entrepreneur, and inventor of the 1920s toy business who was ruined in the Great Depression by banks and various betrayals. After a crime spree he was imprisoned in 1933 but escaped from prison recently completely crazed and ready to take revenge on the whole city using his inventions.
Brainiac "The Eternal Traveller"
An android resulting from the abhorrent merger of a famous astronaut and artificial intelligence, which was used by the first civilization of Krypton to collect information from other worlds. It is more than 100,000 years old. With the passage of time, he revealed against the Kryptonians, became evil and phobic to any form of life that he considered imperfect or inferior. It caused the destruction of many cultures. He wanders through space visiting planets and analyzing life forms. He probably has no enthusiasm for humans, much less for a descendant of the House of El.

Chrysabug: Busted!

I've drawn a Chrysabug scene. Ladybug and Chrysalis are trapped in a locker that blocked by rubbles of a building. Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Vesperia and Ryuko clean the rubbles for rescue both their friend and the villainess. While the heroes opened the locker, Ladybug and Chrysalis had an intimate moment together indoor. The two adversaries are busted.
The story:
Ladybug and Cat Noir have defeated an akumatized supervillain. But after the Lucky Charm has repaired all the damages and Ladybug and Cat Noir were going to go home each other, Chrysalis ambushes Ladybug.
While the two nemesies fought against each other, Cat Noir comes to help his Lady. But Chrysalis knocks out the Catboy.
The Butterfly villainess flees away and Ladybug tracks down her until an abandoned warehouse. The two Miraculous teenage girls made a second round indoor when suddenly the warehouse brutally collapses. A big piece of the roof falls at the place where Chrysalis was and Ladybug ran to the former for save her by tackling her (like in rugby). Meanwhile, the tackling brought the two girls inside of a locker. The warehouse has definitively fallen and the rubbles block the locker's door. Ladybug and Chrysalis are trapped in there together.
Ladybug calls Cat Noir with the yo-yo for indicate him the location. When Cat Noir arrives to the place. He calls by phonecall the other heroes across Paris for help. Rena Rouge is the first to join Cat Noir. Ryuko comes at next moment. And Vesperia too. All of these superheroines were the only ones in service in this moment.
They use their superpowers for remove the rubbles (especially Cat Noir for turn the rubbles into dust with the Cataclysm) and rescue Ladybug. She didn't called anybody since her last message sent to Cat Noir.
After cleaning the damages, they finally have got access to the locker. Now, they must save Ladybug. Meanwhile, when they open the door, they see a unimaginable thing in front of them:
Ladybug and Chrysalis are kissing together in love each other. 😳💋
BUSTED!
The End(?)/To be continued(?).
The reactions:
They are mainly surprised and confused.
Rena Rouge (deceived and disgusted; thinking): Wtf ?! Marinette ! 🤨😒
Vesperia has a blushing panic. 😳🤯
Cat Noir is lost in his own thoughts. He sees her Lady flirting and kissing with their common enemy. 🤨
Ryuko is a bit of astonished. She knows Marinette is Ladybug but: Where is Adrien in this revelation ? 😯🧐
Ladybug and Chrysalis are suddenly ashamed about the Miraculous team who discovered their secret. The two adversaries had their lips still contact each other in same time. Their thoughts:
Ladybug: Fuck !!
Chrysalis: Damn it !

Lilanette Week: Body Swap!
Hello there everyone, and welcome back to my insanity! I ran into a few technical issues yesterday, hence the delay, but we're back now and you're getting double the Lilanette! It's a Win-Win, really! Anyway, I only have one more complete fic for this event and it's the Free Space on Saturday, but I figured I should still give you all the cliffnotes that @nicodemoon and I came up with! As an aside, this is a future au taking place sometime during their college years.
So, our story begins with Ladybug, and an Akumatized Villain! Do not ask me what their name is, I beg of thee. Naturally, they have the power to swap bodies between 2 targets, because Chrysalis is very smart. She's already forced the Akuma to blast her, and now only needs either Ladybug or Chat to get hit. Ladybug discerns this by the fact that no civilians are being attacked. Anyway, Chat tries to take the hit for her, but unfortunately...the Akuma just bashes him aside and blasts Ladybug anyway. Marinette opens her eyes to find herself in a dark, cramped place. The Parisian Catacombs, of course. Naturally she immediately notices that she's in Chrysalis' body and detransforms, running around to find a mirror. And when she does...Marinette has no idea who she's looking at. Yes this is inspired by that episode Flash and Lex Luthor from the animated series. Of course she asks Nooroo for the girl's name, but since she technically isn't his Holder, the poor Kwami just gets a case of bubble-mouth. Knowing she has limited time and that her own ID is most likely compromised, Marinette wracks her brain to figure out why this girl looks vaguely familiar. And then...she remembers! Because civilian!Chrysalis (lets say one of Lila's other identities) has actually met Marinette before! Where, you ask? In a bar of course, where she half-drunkenly asked her out on a date because she was pretty! At the time, Alya had been with Marinette so she didn't accept, but that's the memory that sticks out to her. Immediately after this, Ladybug blinks, finding herself back in her own body with the Miraculous Cure zipping through Paris. Chat compliments her for being incredible as always (possibly not having seen her get hit at all), but comments that she probably didn't need to take things as far as she did. We can assume that Lila-Bug went in the cartoonish violence direction to defeat the Akuma. Anyway, Ladybug goes home, anxious about Chrysalis possibly knowing her identity. In fact, she doesn't get a wink of sleep because of what happened last time (London Special). But in the morning, at 9am to be exact, her doorbell rings. Marinette isn't expecting anybody, so she holds her Miraculous close and goes to answer. Opening the door, she sees civilian!Chrysalis awkwardly standing there with a bouquet of flowers. She says hi and nervously asks Marinette on a date, which she accepts this time. End Fic!
Why does this entire thing happen? Because Lila wanted to find out Ladybug's identity. She's already developed a crush on Marinette, and this would be a bit funnier if we add a small beginning section with Lila ID #27 somewhere in the background. Something like attending a lecture in college, a coffee shop, you guys get the gist. Naturally, since her identity is compromised, Lila has nothing to lose and decides to shoot her shot with the local superheroine. Lilanette is presumed to ensue, and everyone is happy!
Obviously I didn't have time to write all of this in real fic format, but I still wanted to share what was drafted for this prompt. Shame I didn't get to make a fic because I think it's hilarious, but Saturday is much more important! Anyhoo, I'll see you all...in like 20 minutes with the Spooky prompt rant, similarly to this, but until then, Stay Miraculous everyone!
