You know how apparently people will dump a ton of personal info about themselves onto cashiers?
Imagine being a cashier and this one weirdly familiar stranger starts doing that to you with sorta vague details but not vague enough as you slowly put together that this is your arch nemesis out of costume

Forever thinking about how they just keep forgetting the rule of bread and circuses 😔
#thoughts#oni talks#on the one hand everything going on is very validating to child me who saw it coming but on the other hand i sort of hoped I was wrong lol#keep getting haunted by dreams about the past and about the future man#probably because I am guessing I have mold in my room tho tbf#wish more of the positive dreams would come true instead man#at least I don’t have the jkr transphobia mold (hopefully) so I guess there’s that lol#anyway yeah I find it odd how much of a rush they are to ban positive and fun stuff ppl enjoy or otherwise keeps them distracted from shit#same with restricting food but that one at least makes a little more sense in regards to weaker population & less solid thinking#but limiting distraction/fun stuff additionally is pushing it especially bc that’s often the only thing rlly stopping ppl from doing smth#ppl can only go so far before they snap back & they have really been testing those limits & seem to believe they wil never have blowback?#it has very corporate short term thinking vibes which makes sense given how much of that has overtaken society it seems that and lack of#education leading ppl to believe in outcomes that just aren’t remotely realistic based on just how humans work + past history#forever surprised we haven’t had more Luigi’s before this I’ve been thinking about this since I was young & it’s always been weird to me#ppl seem to forget that CEOs and higher ups are still ppl & are not magically immune to consequences & I wish more people recognized this#like I think we forget that especially for elected & other power positions it’s supposed to be a job/responsibility bc if you do shit then#you risk horrifying consequences like murder or revenge i swear it’s like they are getting cartoonish atp if irl superheroes started as a#response I wouldn’t be surprised with the supervillain-esque shit like it’s just reasonable to balance w/ heroes now & it seems that’s#slowly becoming more are aware of & therefore again why I don’t fully understand the targeting of entertainment bc if nothing distracts them#then A LOT more Luigi type stuff will start happening as well as organizing and just general consequences in general#waiting for a sk of specifically corrupt politicians surprised it hasn’t happened yet tbh

My favorite type of oc/scenario is:
Hero who’s like, universally beloved, even tho they aren’t the type of hero who usually is
They wear a dark hood, rarely speak, and if they do it’s obviously an altered voice, and they always do what’s right but in a gruff way, they’d like to be nicer, but unlike some of the other heroes who have super speed, life threatening situations just don’t give them enough time to be polite and sweet
So they know they’re respected, they’ve been at this job for awhile and they’re good at it, but they have no idea they’re beloved, even by the villains
Till the one time they go undercover as a villain

Tried taking out some background noise ie: neon, robots, in the hopes I'd get better results with the Villain but nope! Mostly the same!

Prompt: Create a dramedy superhero movie concept about the utter chaos in the aftermath of the death/defeat/retirement of a supervillain. While villainous, the character still enforced certain rules in his relations with heroes and other villains, and his absence causes that semblance of order to break down.
Title: The Follow-up
Logline: Following the sudden retirement of the world's most feared supervillain, Baron Blitzcrank, chaos erupts as rival villains vie for power and forgotten enemies resurface, while a jaded superhero struggles to find purpose in a world without his arch-nemesis.
Characters:
Maximus "Max" Paragon: A weary superhero known as The Paragon, defined by his long-standing rivalry with Baron Blitzcrank.
Dr. Evadne Veridian (The Emerald Enchantress): A flamboyant sorceress and rising star amongst supervillains, determined to claim Blitzcrank's criminal empire.
Agent Stone: A cynical government liaison between superheroes and villainous organizations, tasked with maintaining a fragile peace.
The Baron (voice only): The unseen but ever-present Baron Blitzcrank, relaxing on a tropical island in his retirement, offering snarky commentary via encrypted messages.
Plot:
The news stuns the world: Baron Blitzcrank, the tyrannical supervillain who plagued the city for decades, has announced his retirement. While most rejoice, Max Paragon, The Paragon, feels strangely lost. His entire superhero identity revolved around stopping Blitzcrank.
Power Vacuum:
Without Blitzcrank's iron fist keeping other villains in check, chaos erupts. Dr. Evadne Veridian, a flamboyant sorceress hungry for power, sees an opportunity to seize control. Forgotten enemies crawl out of the woodwork, reigniting old rivalries and jeopardizing city safety.
An Unlikely Alliance:
Max, adrift without his nemesis, is forced to work with Agent Stone, the cynical government liaison who facilitates communication between heroes and villains. Together, they navigate the treacherous landscape of villainous politics, trying to prevent a full-blown superpowered war.
The Baron's Legacy (or Lack Thereof):
Adding to the chaos are cryptic messages from the Baron himself. Relaxing on a tropical island, he delivers snarky commentary on the situation and throws metaphorical wrenches into the works, seemingly enjoying the unfolding pandemonium.
Climax and Resolution:
As Dr. Veridian launches her final assault on the city, Max rallies other superheroes, finding a renewed sense of purpose not against a single villain but for the good of the city. In a climactic battle, Max confronts Dr. Veridian, utilizing the knowledge of Blitzcrank's tactics gleaned from years of fighting him.
A World Without Villains:
The villains are defeated, the city is safe, but a bittersweet truth emerges. The world needs a certain balance – even a bad kind of balance. Max, with a newfound understanding of heroism, prepares for a future without a singular arch-nemesis, knowing that new threats will inevitably rise. The film ends with a final message from the Baron, hinting at a possible, and hilarious, return from retirement.
Themes:
The importance of order, even from an unlikely source.
Finding purpose beyond defeating a single enemy.
The complex nature of good versus evil and the gray areas in between.
Tone:
The film is a dramedy, balancing humor with the emotional struggles of Max and the challenges of maintaining order in a world of superpowered beings. The Baron's unseen presence and snarky commentary add a layer of dark humor, highlighting the absurdity of the supervillain world.

Armorer and his Aspirants.
The knight turned, glowing red eyes landing on his subordinates. Thunderstruck and Paywall. They'd failed him yet again.
He was a sight to behold--Perfectly polished plate armor shone brilliantly in the light, red cape hanging loosely behind him, the butt of Kriegspeer planted firmly on the ground. The brilliant bronze shield that accompanied was attached to his left arm, one handle clutched in an armored fist.
His eyes were full of power, strength, and malice. Even Thunderstruck was forced to take a step back. Her body was larger and bulkier than the knight--6'5 and nothing but muscle. She looked like she could lift and throw a tank--And in fact, she could! But she was forced a step back by that glare alone... Something told her to get to her knees, but she forced herself to remain standing.
Paywall was doing... Less well. Poor guy. Only 5'5, so the two of them towered high over him. Purple energy coiled around his hands, as though waiting to be released--To be formed into a shield to protect himself from the knight's rage. He was small, and seemed to be trying to make himself moreso. Shame, too--If he'd learn to fight, he'd be pretty good at it.
Armorer's voice snapped Thunderstruck out of her thoughts. "Another failure." He intoned, his voice impossibly deep--It was like something out of a spy movie, an artificial voice synthesizer in the armor. Nobody knew who or what was under it, but Thunderstruck suspected it was a robot. No human was that skilled. That precise. That measured. It wasn't possible. Both Thunderstruck and Paywall were dripping with sweat, both ready to collapse, and yet Armorer was still standing. It didn't even seem he was breathing hard.
"Yes, Lieutenant." Thunderstruck's voice was meek. God, nothing got her feeling like this except Armorer--And that freaky leader above him, Kindlin. God... They gave her the heebie-jeebies. Something about them...
Paywall tried to call up another barrier, but it was weak and flickering. He'd done a lot to make sure the fight lasted as long as it did.
"You will fight me again." Armorer commanded, spear radiating with light and power. It was an ancient relic, stolen from the Halcyon museum years ago. Greek, so they said. Nobody even knew it was magical until Kindlin came along and snatched it up.
"I... I can't possibly." Thunderstruck felt like she was going to pass out, but was quickly jolted out by a spear at her throat.
"I said... You will fight me again." This was not a request. It was an order.
"I-I..." Thunderstruck stammered, taking a step back away from the spear. Thankfully, Paywall came in to save the day. He always was there to protect.
"Listen, Lieutenant Armorer... We get it. You're tough and stuff, but... We need rest. Don't you always stress the significance of not overworking yourself? Of giving yourself plenty of rest time? With all due respect, Lieutenant Armorer... We need rest. Two hours, okay? Two hours, and we'll be up and ready."
Armorer's baleful glare shifted targets... And then relaxed. Both of the young Oracles let out sighs of relief; They'd been terrified for a moment, but clearly he'd seen reason. "You get one. You need to be ready for anything. Understood?"
"...Yes, Lieutenant." They both responded in unison, resigned to their fates. But... Neither of them could deny they'd gotten stronger under his leadership.
The Lieutenant turned, striding off further into the training room. Paywall put a hand to his chest, silently praying for whatever poor sap he sparred next...

finally got around to drawing Omen's "creator" and "mentor", the supervillain known as Metamorpheus! They're canonically ever-shifting in appearance, so for this drawing I decided to make them taller than Omen for dramatic effect >:3
I also hope that Omen and her team get to kick this guy's ass at some point in the campaign, as a treat!
Characters: Omen (they/she) and Metamorpheus (any and all pronouns under the sun)
