In the super mario rpg remake did they seriously change luigi's star wish? The tropes page says it was changed to something "bitter" wth

They did change Luigi's star wish, but I don't think "bitter" is the right adjective. Here's the original:

Maybe you can see it as "bitter" if you look at it the right way? Like... maybe Luigi is bitter about being left out of the adventure? But it struck me more as "yearning" than bitter.

In the original wish (if read at surface level) Luigi just wants to be as skilled as his brother at their day job, while in the remake he expresses a direct desire to help Mario out.

But the remake has another change! Specifically when Mario is pretending to be a statue to sneak into Nimbus Castle:

The original line did not reference Luigi at all, and just poked fun at Mario's appearance and intelligence.

If I had to venture a guess... maybe Nintendo is trying to lean toward characterizing Mario and Luigi as a tight-knit team like in the RPG series or the movie, and wanted to add some dialogue to imply they still had that bond despite Mario being off on this brotherless adventure.

Wish they had properly explained what Luigi was doing during the entire fiasco though. Maybe he was busy organizing that end credits parade?

I'm not sure if this has a label but Denchu is attracted to masc-presenting people. any gender

8. Have they had struggles with their identity, be it due to internal or external reasons?

I think he definitely tends to downplay how he feels about being genderfluid because he's used to presenting as Girl and it's "easier" to present as Girl. They probably experience the feeling of "I go by any pronouns" and proceeding to only be referred to be she/her and then get frustrated later. Maybe there was a period of time where she didn't want to use she/her at all and ultimately circled back into including it because she still liked being Girl

i actually havent gotten as much approval w karlach as i’d like—i have just as much with astarion and gale, who i picked up late—but that’s kind of fun. karlach definitely got the most mad and led the discussion after alfira, w shadowheart mostly thinking cautiously and wyll saying nothing at all, and i kind of enjoy that wanting to fix that and to win karlach’s approval back is genuinely one of siinvi’s driving motivations she’ll have to work to earn, rather than just idk a stat i’m trying to achieve as the player. and it makes more sense to me as a first step on a redemption arc because siinvi really doesn’t quite have her own conscience figured out yet, she just wants everyone still to like her (and to be able to kill, ideally. to kill with friends!)

Hi! I'm just going to post an excerpt from False, Fleeting, Perjur'd Clarence: George, Duke of Clarence, 1449-7 by Michael Hicks, which sums up the situation:

“The Readeption had enjoyed the military support of the Dukes of Somerset and Exeter, the Marquis Montagu, the Earls of Devon, Dorset, Pembroke, Oxford and Warwick, Viscount Beaumont, and Lords St. John, Wenlock and Camoys. There's an English class on Golden Age detective fiction being offered next semester but the prerequisite for it is the intro to literary study class required for all English majors (which I haven't taken because I'm in a hard STEM major and don't have much time for electives, which means that I have to be really picky with my electives and only go for stuff I like AND doesn't have an awful workload) and also even if I did have that prereq, I wouldn't be able to take the class because it's at the same time as one of my major reqs. And also I'll be in two labs next semester and one of them is pure hell so like I literally don't have the time to take more than 13 credit hours (as tempting as it is to keep up my streak of taking 17-18 every semester even though it's been like really pretty bad for my social life and hobbies). Sigh. (Pressing my hand wistfully against the glass) maybe someday they'll offer the class again
