It's crazy to me that the "Random episode of Always Sunny" in question is literally The Gang Gets Romantic. Like people really do live different lives I guess bc what do you mean that episode didn't catastrophically alter your brain chemistry and change the very trajectory of your life, sending you on a years long spiral about Canon MacDennis and What It All Means. Crazy that you just watched it then went about your day unaffected and unfazed like GOD I wish that were me but instead I hear the words "Gay ass love story" and immediately crash out.

I think Sunny should have been crowned queen at the end of brightest night.

Thorn and any other qualified dragon have become too hardened by the war to be a good peace time leader. The Sandwing Succession had gone on for well over two decades so I doubt there are many still alive who’d remember the world before it went to war, with that in mind it’s easy to imagine that a leader who spent their entire life in an us vs them mindset wouldn’t make the best decisions about the lives of others especially those who fought for the other side.

While Thorn didn’t directly participate in the war she has had to make cruel decisions in order to lead the Outclaws and lashes out in anger when faced with difficult or disappointing scenarios. If she was easily able to kill Preyhunter, even if she did regret it afterward, it’s easy to see her doing the same again but with much larger consequences.

Sunny has been sheltered her whole life, and while that makes her young and inexperienced, a naive mind is just what the Sandwing kingdom needs after decades of bloodshed. Sunny hadn’t grown up in war, hadn’t learned to live with it, therefore she would make the best decisions for all under her rule including those outside the tribe because she holds all life precious.

And yes Sunny has no leadership experience but with Thorn and other trusted adults as close advisors she would be able to consider all outcomes her decisions make while still holding onto her nonviolent values.

Tldr: Sunny is a naive pacifist child who has never lead anyone but she would make the best leader for the Sandwing tribe due to her not growing up in the war and never learning to live with/like it.

There Was A Time, November 2016

I'm queuing this now, hoping that by the time this posts I will be a lot more optimistic. I hope to be more hopeful and more optimistic. I'm posting these so I can lift my own spirits, but I hope it does to you too.

Beaver is swimming in a river amongst the thickets

Beaver was sitting near the river. And, he wants to have some refresh. So, of course, it is little shadows here, he is in a little shade. But, anyway, it is a good summer day. Simple thing - beaver in a shade. Near the water. He was looking at the water.

And he makes a decision – he will go to water and feel refresh. He will swim, at the other side of the river. So, it is near. And little water is so refreshing. So, it is, straight, across the grass. Which is growing in the water.

Water is so dark blue. Dark color. And calm, so makes you feel calm. Beaver likes water. He likes to swim. And, by the way, his little house is in these places. Near the water.

Beaver can swim very good. And, so, he is swimming near the thickets. It is always interesting. There are places, where there are lots of thickets. It is lots of grass growing. And, there are places, where you can calm to swim. Whole water paths. And do not touch even a single thicket. It is funny.  And it happens that you need to swim straight though bushes and grass. And with a nose to touch a grass. It is, also, a funny thing. So, every time, it is a unique path. To the other side of the river. Though the thickets.

So, in someplace it is dark. In a shade of a high trees. And someway - it is a wide field. And it is simple, there at the other side. It is so green. So, a little, you walk there and bugs are singing their songs. Lots of them. And, someplace far, it is swamps type. So, there, you can see a different birds. Birds are always doing their own things. And such a water thickets are going someplace in a far.

Beaver, he is explorer of a river. He all the time goes by the shore. And start to swim later by river. Water element is calling for him. And he is swimming across, to the other side. He walks there. Later, he again swim across. Or, he can swim forward by the river. It is amazing places are here!
