It was a windy October evening when the letter arrived, in all its horrific glory. The great hall was packed for a Tuesday night, the dimly glowing candles being outshone by the far brighter lanterns and the stars above. It fell down with the evening mail, landing beside his dinner plate that he hadn’t touched afterwards, the perfectly neat writing scrawled along the front and sealed with a dark wax, stamped with the twisting words Toujours Pur made Regulus feel sick at the sight. Even Barty had stopped talking about the party at Gryffindor tower tonight at the site of it, and he hadn’t stopped talking about it since they got invited.

I like Elissa Farman's arc in Fire and Blood. Sure it's pretty shitty how she steals Dreamfyre's dragon eggs and betrays Rhaena but she had a goal in mind and she accomplished it which is pretty admirable. She set out to explore the whole of the Sunset Sea and even went as far as Asshai and was probably the first to do so. She was wild and an adventurer at heart and it was understandable in a way that she was tired of the monotony of Dragonstone and wanted to leave in search of greater pursuits despite the fact that she may have loved Rhaena.

She gives me Arya at the end of GOT season 8 vibes and I like it.

I just got a hate comment on my jegulus fic and it was basically just a long rant about jily and how they are the better and more supreme ship which is odd because jily is a good ship just not one I prefer and I explicitly tagged the fic as jegulus and not jily and if you read the tag and you disliked it then click off it really isn't that hard

It's hurtful towards communities and it helps no one not even the person who wrote the hate comment

And if you disagree then you are part of this problem and maybe you'll understand how it feels when someone does the same thing to you

Try and be empathetic

Hello! I'm trying to find an IF where it starts with MC as a kid and his best friend (one of ROS options). They live in a village that was attacked, and everyone in the village died(?), something like that. The MC and his friend escape because they were in the forest, the MC gets hurt and ends up with a scar, but they and their friend manage to escape from the monster, I think it was a monster, honestly, I don't remember exactly what attacked. I only remember up to here, sorry.

I had the joy of reading my irl bestie’s fic titled “The Language of Flowers” and was inspired to make them a nail set based on their writing!!!!

I adored this fic, it’s fluffy and cute but also incredibly clever and well-researched. I shed very real tears while reading 🥹 One of my favorite things about Renn is that they put their heart and soul into their writing, including researching a new topic (flower language!!) to make sure the story is thematically accurate.

This set was a way for me to stretch my nail art from using a nail art reference photo to using pictures of flowers and written words as reference!
