Summer altar scenes 🌼🌱🐝☀️🫧🐬

Happy Summer Solstice, everyone. I am a Persephone devotee and lunar witch which means my summer altar may look a bit different than other’s! (Yes, there’s always skulls on my altar! 💀)

I hung up my Poseidon oracle card in honor of the God of the Sea. I know I will be spending many days at the beach and hours in the water in the coming months. In keeping with the ocean theme, I brought out my scallop shell votive holder. This is also a representation of a Goddess I also feel a deep connection for: Aphrodite. She is always represented on my altar with my Venus statue. Next I placed blue, orange, yellow, and red crystals around wherever felt right. These colors felt warm and welcoming to me. Like a long day in the sun or s’mores by a campfire.

Ламмас, для меня последний летний саббат(хотя он считается уже праздником темной половины года), он совмещает в себе плодородие и сбор урожая, как физического, так и ментального, так и тьму второй половины года. Так много энергии в нем, этот переход можно ощутить утром, когда лёгкий туман окутывает землю и веет осенней прохладой, а ближе к обеду солнце вновь согреет землю.

"Если выйти в поле в три часа пополудни, можно услышать поля голос и звон. Песнь Ламмаса - гул, волна между землёй и небом. На Мабон песня уйдёт звенеть в алые леса, на Самайн - под самую землю. Волну же Ламмаса можно почувствовать буквально руками, раскрыв их как крылья над колосьями в поле. "

Я впервые, наверное, украсила алтарь именно на Ламмас, не дожидаясь Мабона. Я все ещё ощущаю летнее последнее дыхание и хочу насладиться им от и до. Свою первую колоду таро я купила именно в Ламмас и мы даже немного отпраздновали его с сестрой, это очень теплое воспоминание о начале пути.

an altar for @strangepersonthefirst

this one’s a good bit different from a lot of the other altar’s i’ve made here, namely because it’s really a spellwork altar rather than one for worship. however, as i’m in the habit of talking about specific elements of these altars and not at all about any of my magical practices, i’ll try my best to mix the two ^-^

a few notable things are the cloth, my personal one, and the location of the altar, my hearth, as well as the fact that all the objects are semi-organized into four elemental corners. along with that, there are some old photos i’ve taken, the closest I could get to kitsugi (the grey, marbled vase with a large crack through the center of it), and two shark teeth, on either side of the sigil made from your work name :]

given the importance of my own spellwork in this altar, the “centerpiece” is a watercolor painting of mine i made some time ago (which technically I already told you about haha- but it’s nice to include here, too).

So I'm not celtic/irish. I'm a germanic pantheist. So I dont really celebrate the in-between holidays on the wheel of the year. But I like the concept of having a wheel like that for my big 4 holidays (Winter/Summer Solstices, Fall/spring Equinoxes). To display or keep at my alter. Does anybody know if this wheel goes by a different name or if there are any keywords I can use? or would I have to custom make it myself. or maybe even an artist I could commission?
