Open Up - Donghae

(Admin: Babyboiii, I’m trying my best with requests but most of them are smut and I don’t really feel like writing smut. Also, I swear I love all of Super Junior and that my bias is Ryeowook it’s just Donghae inspires me a lot in writing.)

You rest your hand on top of Donghae’s in a comforting motion: “you can open up to me, I’ll always be here.”

“You don’t know anything Y’N,” Donghae mutters, pulling his hand out from under yours; you nod in agreement.

“I don’t know anything, because you don’t open up to anyone,” you were fighting back tears, “you’ve been like this for five years, don’t you think it’s time to let someone help you,” you say it softly trying to keep from making him angry, resting your hands in your lap.

“Can’t we just stay the way we are now,” Donghae mumbles, your heart shatters a bit.

“Donghae, listen to me,” the seriousness in your voice catches his attention, you grip the ends of your shirt turning towards him, “we’ve been dating for ten years, engaged for three, but I haven’t heard you say that you love me in five,” your voice shakes, “you don’t hold my hand, kiss me, talk to me, look at me, what am I to you?” Your voice cracks.

“Y’N, I do love you,” It sounds bland and emotionless like everything else he says, it was like the words fell from his lip as a habit and hold no meaning anymore.

“Don’t say it if you don’t mean it,” you mumble standing up from your spot on the bench next to him, “I’ve been understanding of you for four years, hoping you would do something, break up with me, marry me, cheat on me, something to make me hate you or show you love me still,” you attempt to keep your voice steady.

You walk away from him, your suspicion confirming itself when he doesn’t follow behind you. You didn’t think your heart could break any more than it did over those years while you watched Donghae slip away from your hands and you be removed from his heart; now that it’s actually over your heart seemed to just crumble to dust, aching in your chest. Arms wrap around your middle trapping your arms by your sides.

“Don’t go,” Donghae’s voice is shaky, “I’ll open up, I’ll tell you everything,” he pauses, pressing his head against your shoulder, “just, don’t go,” he puts separation between each word.

My Hero ~ Lee Donghae

Your eyes snapped across the room as soon as you heard a laugh come from Donghae, watching as he typed away at his phone. He had no idea that you were watching him until he glanced up from his phone, the smile on his face still wide, eyes bright as he met yours which were full of confusion.

“You’ve got to see this,” Donghae told you as he stood up from where he was sat at the table in front of his laptop, walking around the room to get to you.

You shuffled along the sofa slightly to make room for Donghae as he held his phone out for you to take, noticing that he was at the top of a news article posted just an hour ago.

Your heart immediately raced as you began to scroll, especially as you noticed your name in the title. Yet, as you kept reading, you noticed exactly what had made the headlines with screengrabs of the latest Super Junior video posted of Donghae passing his jacket onto you.

“It seems that production caught the two of us in the background of their interview with Heechul on the set of the music video shoot,” Donghae laughed, “and the journalists are loving it too.”

Your head shook in disbelief as you scrolled all the way down to the bottom expecting some negativity, which never arrived. As you passed Donghae’s phone back across to him, you couldn’t understand what you had read, it was positive, for once.

“All I did was give you my coat because you were cold,” Donghae smirked, “and now all the entertainment papers are portraying me to be some sort of hero boyfriend.”

“How have you managed to make yourself look so good without meaning to be caught?”

Donghae’s shoulders shrugged as he glanced down at his phone as it vibrated, noticing a message come through in his group chat with the boys. You had no idea what it said, but as Donghae began to crack up again, you were pretty sure that you had a good idea.

After reading through, Donghae handed his phone to you again, allowing you to read through the messages that he was exchanging with all of the boys.

“Heechul’s not happy that we’ve ended up taking the attention away from him,” Donghae proudly grinned as he pointed to Heechul’s message on his phone, “he says next time he sees the two of us he’ll be sure to get some sort of revenge.”

After getting to the bottom of the chat, you handed Donghae his phone back once more as more messages came through, with the boys all impressed with how Donghae had subtly shown himself.

“You should read some of these, some of the comments are calling me perfect.”

Your eyes widened, refusing to believe Donghae until he showed you some of the comments, with several fans all expressing how jealous they were of you.

“I wish that Donghae gave my boyfriend tips on how to look after me,” you read through yet another one, scoffing underneath your breath.

You could tell as soon as you looked across at Donghae that he was enjoying the attention that he was getting from fans and journalists alike. The clip itself was only a few seconds long, with the two of you well hidden in the background, but his eagle-eyed fans had managed to clock the two of you perfectly together.

“Hyukjae wants me to post something about D and E,” Donghae soon laughed.

“Is promotion all he thinks about?”

Your eyes rolled at how typical it was of Hyukjae, encouraging Donghae to make the most of the attention he was getting to remind people of the two of them, earning himself plenty of complaints in the chat as the other seven wondered where their promotion was.

“I can’t believe you’ve managed to do this.”

“This is hilarious,” Donghae replied to you, “I mean I literally gave you my coat, some people are calling me Superman now.”

As happy as you were for the two of you to have a nice headline written about the two of you for a change, the smile on Donghae’s face soon began to get on your nerves. He was loving his role, mainly because for once he had the chance to tease the others for a change rather than allow them to tease Donghae.

“How long are you going to bang on about this at rehearsal tomorrow?”

Donghae’s eyes looked across to you as you spoke, “I will talk about nothing else and make sure that everyone at the company has read the article.”

“If one of them punch you tomorrow, it’s your fault.”

He couldn’t get enough of teasing the boys, showing you every single time when a frustrated message came through from one of the boys, which Donghae could joke in reply to you.

None of the boys could believe that their quiet member had managed to get the best headline out of all of them in sixteen years. For all the variety shows, and music show appearances they made, it was the simple act of giving a coat away that had given Donghae bragging rights over them.

“Do you think we could get this article printed actually?” Donghae asked you, “I want to give all of the boys their own copy tomorrow so that they don’t forget this.”

Your eyes could only roll at just how much Donghae was enjoying himself. “You know that they’ll get you back if you do anything like that. It already sounds like Heechul is on the verge of a breakdown having missed out on the attention because of you.”

He couldn’t take his eyes off of his phone screen, no matter how hard he tried. Donghae was obsessed with the article to say the least, basking in all the compliments that came his way and the praise that he was receiving for being such a good boyfriend to you.

“I guess I should feel lucky that I get to call superman my boyfriend,” you laughed across at him.

“You definitely should,” Donghae immediately agreed, “there are hundreds of fans in the comments right now wishing that they were in your shoes and wishing that they were able to get given my jacket from me.”

Your head shook as Donghae scrolled through some of the comments once again, reading out his favourites. Each comment that he read made him smugger and smugger, never seeing him as confident as he was right now.

To be recognised for being such a good boyfriend meant the world to Donghae, touched to have proven to everyone just how much he cared about you.

“I think from now on you should just tell everyone that I’m your hero,” Donghae suggested, “it seems to be what the article implies after all.”

“There is no way that I am introducing you as my hero.”

A loud intake of breath came from him, “if it wasn’t for me you would have been freezing cold during that shoot, but I came and saved you from the cold.”

“You gave me your coat,” you laughed, “I’m pretty sure that if I’d asked any of the boys for their coat, they would have said yes.”

“Just admit that I’m your hero,” Donghae teased, “there’s no need to be shy about it, we all need rescuing sometimes.”

Your head shook, “you’re enjoying this far too much, look at your smile.”

“Let me have my moment Y/N!”

The honeymoon phase was very much in full effect for you and Donghae, and Super Junior were enjoying teasing the pair of you.

You had tagged along to a schedule of theirs and were glued to your boyfriends's side in the dressing room.

"Ugh, stop flaunting your relationship," Shindong complained.

"We are just sitting next to each other," you countered, but Donghae saw an opportunity to tease the members further.

He simply leaned in and pecked your cheek. Giggling as the rest of the group groaned or gagged, you returned the kiss. As you enjoyed the reactions you were getting, you continued to peck little kisses all over his face. Donghae adorably scrunched his face up, wrinkling his nose and closing his eyes as your onslaught continued.

When you finally pulled away, you cupped his face between your hands. "You do realise doing that just makes you look cute and even more kissable, right?"

Instead of answering, he screwed his face up again and you gently kissed the tip of his nose.

"Donghae, please just stop," Kyuhyun interrupted, reminding you that you that you were actually in a room with other people.

Smiling sheepishly, you stopped kissing your boyfriend, choosing instead to snuggle into his side.

Movie night ~ Super Junior Donghae

A/N.: The idea of Dad!Donghae sounded too cute not to write so I had to do this kinda long drabble. Also inspired by D&E's Now Naver radio show where Donghae talked about [spoiler] The Little Mermaid 🥺 Genre: fluff, extremely cute family fluffy drabbleWarnings: -

"Hey, princess!" Donghae's cheerful voice greeted you over the phone. "I'm sorry I couldn't reply your texts, I got caught up at work. You wanted to talk to me?"

"Hi, sweetie! I was going to ask you to pick Haru at the daycare 'cause I'm trapped at work too, but took you too long so I called your mom since she's in town."

"I'm so sorry, princess, really." his tone went low and you knew he would tear up if you didn't interrupt him. "Damn, I should've-"

"Donghae-ah, it's ok, she's with your mom, don't worry, sweetie."

"But I should've been there to pick her up, Y/N!"

"You were trapped at work too, my love, don't worry. I wanted to ask you to pick her with your mom because I'll still be here for a while..."

"No problem, I'll go right now. See you at home?"

"Of course. And Donghae, don't give her sugar in the evening, ok? She won't sleep if you do."

"Not even a piece of chocolate?" he pleaded. You knew him too well at this point, you knew he was pouting over the phone. Maybe a piece of chocolate wouldn't hurt...

"Ok." you answered with a sigh and he giggled. "Don't give her too much! Otherwise you'll be staying up all night if she feels sick!"

"It's fine, princess, I got it all covered. Love you."

"Love you too." you hung up with a smile and went back to your work.

As you were busy and getting a migraine from work issues, Donghae was getting back home with your daughter, both giggling and excitedly making plans.

"How was my baby girl's day today?" he asked, putting her on the floor.

"It was amajing daddy!" the little one answered, running around the house.

"Haru-ah, your shoes!" Donghae called, making the little girl come back running and kick her outdoor shoes away. "Baby, that's not how we take off shoes. Come here, let's pick them up and put on the slippers."

The three-year old girl muttered an "ok" before Donghae changed her shoes and then sprinted back inside the house. He smiled to himself and followed her, grabbing her in his arms, winning a loud giggle and a soft yelp from her.

"Daddy, where's mommy?" Haru asked, plopping on the sofa and shaking her little legs energetically.

"Mommy is still working, baby." he said and she pouted. "Don't worry, sweetie, she's coming. Why don't I give you a bath and we find something to do while we wait for mommy?"

"Can we watch a princess movie?!"

"Of course we can." Donghae answered, taking her by the hand and guiding her to the bathroom. "You can choose whichever you want and daddy will watch with you."

Donghae was really dedicated to his father role in the house, truly committed to being his tiny princess's hero, which meant he'd do anything - from sorting out her mess to giving her a bath, dressing and combing her hair, singing and telling stories to her as he did so.

"Daddy, sing the rain song!" she pleaded with those beautiful eyes - she had his eyes.

"Not now." Donghae chuckled, finishing drying her hair. "Now you'll go to the living room and pick a movie for us and daddy will get us something delicious to eat, ok? You're ready for your mission?"

"Ye!"

"Ok, now go!" he sent her off with a smile and watched as his baby ran around the halls.

"Are you going to take too long?" he texted you.

"Not much, I'm almost done here. Why?"

"We're going to watch a movie and she has called for you already. Hurry up and join us for movie night, princess, we miss you"

"I'm coming." you typed back, grinning to yourself.

As you tried to get off work, Donghae and your daughter settled in front of the TV, putting on a load of Disney Princess's movies. A lot of toys were scattered on the rug where Donghae was sitting as his little one played with his hair and attempted to sing every single song on the movie.

"Daddy, Elsa can build snow doggies?" Haru asked, placing a tiny pink ribbon on a strand of his hair.

"I bet she can."

"She can build a snowman, she can build a snowdog too, right?"

"That sounds like a talk you should have with uncle Heechul." Donghae chuckled and Haru stared at him sternly.

"Uncle Chul know more about Elsa and her powers?"

"He surely does." Donghae tickled her, making her laugh louder than the movie.

"Can I call him? I wanna talk about Elsa!"

"Later, ok? Uncle Heechul is at work."

"Why is everyone at work?" Haru pouted. "Nobody wanna play with me..."

"Oh, no, sweetie, people work, it's normal. Sometimes we need to wait a little longer to play, but it doesn't mean they don't want to." she was still pouting, so Donghae kissed her tiny hands. "We'll wait for mommy and then we can call uncle Chul, ok? Don't you want to play with dad anymore? I'll let you style my hair again."

She picked another pink ribbon as Donghae put on another movie, slowly improving her mood - he even let her eat chocolate, which made her forget about adults working instead of giving her attention.

"Daddy, you have a faborite princess?" she asked, glueing her eyes on the screen.

"It's favorite, sweetie."

"Daddy, you didn't answer." he laughed.

"I do, baby."

"Which one?" her eyes were now glued on him, making him weirdly shy.

"The Little Mermaid..." he whispered, making a grin appear on Haru's tiny face.

"She has a really red hair! And a fish! Daddy, you like her because the fishes? And the sea? Your name means sea, right?" Donghae smiled at her.

"That's exactly why. But I do have two other favorite princesses in the whole world. Do you know who?"

"Is it me and mommy?" her eyes sparkled and he squeezed her in his arms.

"Yes, princess, it's you and mommy. You're both my favorite princesses ever." Donghae kissed her cheek. "And I love you both so much."

Haru giggled, softly kissing his chin and snuggling on his neck. "Love you daddy."

Donghae sighed blissfully. "What about you, baby, who's your favorite princess?"

The talk went on and on as they jumped between movies, debating serious questions such as why Dory is blue and yellow and how birds fly but can't breath under water. When you arrived home, you found Donghae snoozing on the sofa with Haru on his chest, the TV showing the credits from Zootopia and the lights turned off.

"Hey there." you whispered, walking in. The sound of your voice startled Donghae and he shined you a sleepy smile, tapping softly on Haru's back.

"Haru-ah, wake up. Guess who's here?" she lifted her head, gazing on your direction, her eyes going wide when she finally saw you.

"Mommy!" she yelled, stumbling over Donghae's body, making him groan in pain, to jump into your arms.

"Hi, sweetie." you took her, filling her cheeks with kisses. "How was your day with dad?"

"We watched princess movies!"

"Did you, really? Did you enjoy it?"

"She certainly did." Donghae approached you with his hair tied in a million pink laces and you giggled as he leaned in to peck your lips softly. "Hi, princess."

"Hi, my love."

"Mommy! Can we call uncle Heechul now?" Haru antsy asked in your arms and you frowned.

"Call Heechul?" you looked to Donghae, expecting an answer.

"She wants to talk about Elsa..."

You laughed, kissing her cheek again.

"We sure can." you said, hoping Heechul hadn't gone drinking after tapping today. "Let mommy take a shower and then we'll call uncle Chul."

Haru left out an "yay" as you put her down and Donghae smiled at you.

"Did you enjoy your movie night?" you asked, caressing his arms.

"Of course. Every moment I get to spend with her is memorable." he hugged you. "She reminds me of you."

"Does she?"

"She's tiny and curious and gets sad if people don't give her attention." you laughed, softly hitting him.

"I don't do that."

"You do. And I love you for that. And I love her for that too."

"I love her for that too." you smiled, kissing his chin.

"C'mon, let's call Heechul hyung and ask about Elsa."

Surprise Visit - Donghae

Summary: It's your boyfriend's birthday and you're planning to do a special dinner date, just for you and him, but his chaotic friends and your brother invited themselves to the party. Fluffy scenario.

After leaving the oven on, you took your phone to see the new text from your boyfriend, Donghae.

I'll be there in 40 minutes, please wait for me~

You smiled at the screen and replied back. Of course you'll wait for him at home. The dinner was almost ready and those 40 minutes were enough for you. Today was his birthday and you wanted to make it special for him, since you also would be celebrating 8 months together soon.

Quickly you headed to your room, where you changed your clothes to a beautiful dress of your favorite color. The time passed, and when the food was ready to be put on the table, the door unlocked. You knew it was him, you heard his steps coming inside after taking off his shoes at the doorframe. Feeling a little anxious, you put the two plates on the decorated table and made your way again to the kitchen to take the drinks.

“Y/N! I’m home! Oh, what is this?”

“It’s for us, for you,” you beamed, leaving the kitchen with the glasses of wine on your hands. “Happy birthday, honey!”

Donghae smiled at you and took the drinks in your hands, giving you a kiss in the process. “Thank you, but let me help you.”

“Sure.” You couldn’t avoid the heat running in your cheek at his little gesture. 

Even if today you had free day at work and he just came from it, perhaps a little tired, he was able to do small stuff to help you as well. You both sat on the table, lighting the candles on it.

“This looks delicious, Y/N. Thank you, I love you,” he said, curving his lips on a shy smile. “I mean it with all my heart, and you look beautiful.”

“I love you too. Happy birthday again, my love,” you admired his grateful expression on the other side of the table. Donghae took your hand on his, intertwining your fingers together as he took the first bite of it. He hummed at how delicious it was.

You both ate together, talking about how was your days went and joking. However, in the middle of your chat, the doorbell rang.

“Are you waiting for someone?” you inquired.

“No...”

Suddenly, some knocks on the door alerted you. They were louder and louder everytime, and made you furrow your brows. As Donghae stood up from his seat, he spilled the wine on his shirt by accident.

“Oh god-”

“Let me help you!”

“No, no, it’s ok! I’ll do it,” he said, going quickly to the kitchen to clean himself. “I’m coming!” he yelled. The knocks were even louder now.

Annoyed, you stood up, and heard a familiar voice coming inside along with some steps. Making your way to the door, you heard the voices singing happy birthday to your boyfriend with loud music and screaming. They were so noisy.

“Donghae!~ Happy birthd- Shit! What are you doing here? And dressed like this!”

“What are you doing here?!”

You saw his members on the hallway. All of them looked at you as if you were a ghost or something, in shock. Heechul even had to remove his sunglasses to see you better, and the other members just stood in place.  Shindong even carried a radio on his shoulder that quickly turned off. Well, you were screwed.

“What is this? Are you having a hip-hop party or something?” you asked to your brother, pointing at his outfits.

“Well, I’m not answering until you do!” Heechul screamed, walking towards you.

“Stop yelling at me!”

Your brother made his way inside when he saw the table with food and a nice half-eated diner.

“Are you dating?! Why you didn’t tell me?!” he asked, taking a bite of your plate. “It’s delicious...”

“I want something too!” Kyuhyun said, following your brother.

You sighed, burying your face in your hands as they made their way inside, asking questions about you two that you didn’t answer, and stealing your food.

“God, I’m so sorry for this...” Donghae appeared behind you.

“It’s okay, how they managed to get in anyway?”

“Eunhyuk has the password,” he said, embarrassed and rubbing the back of his neck. You rolled your eyes, of course it was Eunhyuk and the little bastard was sitting on your place, turning on again the radio.

“My D, happy birthday!” he smiled lovingly to him.

“He’s mine, you know?”

“Oh, so you’re really dating!” Ryeowook stepped in.

“How?! Why didn’t you tell me?” Heechul asked, hurted. You rolled your eyes again, he was such a drama queen with you. “I’m your older brother, you know.”

“Because my romantic life isn’t relevant.” 

Heechul lifted a brow, judging you from afar. “It is when you’re dating Donghae!”

“What’s the problem? He’s a good man,” you shrugged.

“I know him, that’s the problem,” he said.

“Listen, I’m sorry that we didn’t tell you about us, but I love her and I’m just asking you to give me the permission that I deserve to date her.”

You hit Donghae on the stomach. “What the hell are you doing?!”

“How much time have you been dating?” Shindong asked, leaving the kitchen with the large food pan. You didn’t even know he was there.

“Eight months.”

Heechul freaked out, while Shindong, Leeteuk, Siwon and Yesung were celebrating and laughing while eating, the other members were just disappointed under your confused, narrowed eyes.

“We had a bet,” Yesung explained. “They said you wouldn’t have more than 6 months.”

“You owe us 30k wons each, or a nice diner, you decide,” Leeteuk mocked to his youngsters.

“Ok, it’s enough. First, you all didn’t say anything to me, you’re assholes,” Heechul pointed to the members on the table. Crossing his arms, he went back to your boyfriend. “Second, I think that you might deserve a chance, but if doesn’t turn out well or if you hurt her, I’ll make you suffer. Understood?”

“Yes, thank you,” Donghae bowed to him with all seriousness. A smile appeared on your face.

“Fine, now you got my permission. I just want to eat and happy birthday!”

Your brother hugged him tightly. Heechul couldn’t be mad at Donghae, you knew him too well, and it seemed that all the members knew you even better. Heechul then hugged you tightly, almost leaving you out of breath.

“I love you, Y/N. But please, don’t hide things from me,” he said. You could hear Donghae joining in the chaos on the dinner table with his members.

“I’ll try,” you patted his back. “I can’t promise that though...”

“Why?” he broke the hug suddenly.

You half-smiled, shyly. “We live together too.”

“Y/N, what the fuck!”

It was going to be a tough night.

“hey, can you come over?”, you whispered over the phone.

“okay, in five minutes,”

You let out the breath you didn’t realise you were holding as you let your hands fall to the floor. Hot tears streamed down your face and you slowly feel your head getting light.

You tried to ignore the image playing in your mind. You tried. You closed your eyes to think about anything else. You dug deep, only to replay the scene over and over again.

The doorbell rang and you hear the door unlock. The door swung open and you see your best friend rushing to your side. You smiled at him as he looks over you, worry plastered on his face.

“Donghae, you are here,” you muttered.

“Of course I am here,” he replied, tone laced with concern as he took a seat beside you.

The both of you didn’t talk. You were hugging your legs as you faced him with your eyes closed.

You hear the stillness in the room, the sounds of both your breathings filling the room. Your ears perked up to hear Donghae gulping the can of soda on your table.

“Am I pretty?”, you suddenly asked.

Donghae stopped drinking. You slowly opened your eyes and continued resting your head on your folded knees. Donghae passed you a confused look as he leaned over to put down the soda on your coffee table.

“Am I good person?”, you changed your question.

He took a breath, “of course you are, you’re the most pretty and best person I ever know,”

You smiled, but as the images played on your mind, you feel the tears pooling in your eyes before it rolled uncontrollably.

“Hey, hey, why are you crying?”

You tried your best to stifle your sobs as you used your hands to wipe your tears.

“If I am pretty, why did he chose her!”, you let out, “If I’m such a good person, why did he do me like that?”, you continued.

Your sobs got louder and your tears streamed endlessly. Donghae kept silent. He had a lot to say, he wanted to say a lot. He wanted to scream at the top of his chest. He wished that you could hear his loud thoughts in his head. 

He turn towards you, carefully placing on your shoulders. 

“No one wants me. If I were him, I wouldn’t want me either,” your voice soft, as you slowly regain yourself. You stare at the water marks on your coffee table. He was a jerk and you deserved better, you knew that. But, why did the break hurt so bad? 

You look at Donghae, “maybe I’m just not worth it,”. You feel his hands on your shoulder slowly tightened.

“You are,” he starts, “worth it,”

You couldn’t hear. Or maybe you did, but you couldn’t trust yourself.

“You are worth it. Every bit of you”, he spoke louder, clear as a day. “Your mind works in the most unique way, you look the cutest when you drink strawberry milk. Your eyes lit up in the most beautiful way when you talk about the books you like. The way you would smile and make faces to babies, god you smile.”

You opened your mouth, failing to form sentences. You didn’t know what to reply and when you finally wanted to,

You stood in front of the mirror, staring at yourself blankly. You didn’t hear Donghae walked into the room or hear him call your name, too lost in your thoughts. He walked back out into the living room where Eunhyuk was watching tv.

“Y/N’s not doing good,” Donghae said in a worried tone, “They’re just staring at themselves in the mirror and didn’t hear me when I called for them.” 

Eunhyuk was curious and wanted to see for himself. He got up from the couch and walked into the bedroom. You were still in front of the mirror, looking blankly at your reflection. Eunhyuk silently walked up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. You jumped a bit, not realizing he walked into the room. 

“Hey Hyuk,” you said quietly, staring at his reflection.

You roll your lips together in an attempt to clear the smile from your face and give a neutral expression when Donghae comes into your bedroom. His expression brightens upon seeing you, his lips curling upward into a smile his eyes shining in the light like they always do. Your own expression turns brighter as well, your attempts at staying neutral futile against him.

“How did the party go?” You ask Donghae rests his hand on your cheek leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead.

“It was fun, Hyukjae came by, wish you could have come,” he says with a sigh sitting beside you, “what are you doing anyway, were you waiting on me,” he teases laughing at his own words.

“I was,” you say startling him, “I have something I need to tell you,” you keep your voice light-hearted enough to where Donghae does not freak out.

“What is it?” He inquires keeping the same stupid grin on his face.

“You remember how my co-worker called you to say I was at the hospital because I had been sick,” you inquire Donghae hums, shifting in his seat, “well they did a pregnancy test after-” before you can get your words out Donghae cuts in.

“-You’re pregnant,” Donghae exclaims standing from the bed, “I was really worried, you had been getting sick, but it’s because you’re pregnant,” he says in what sounds to be a mixture of relief and excitement.

“I had been beginning to think I might be, but the hospital confirmed it,” you explain, “I was waiting until your birthday to tell you,” you say with a small laugh.

Donghae returns the laugh resting his head on your shoulder pressing his weight into your side.

“I’m so happy.”

Despite the time that you’ve spent together, Donghae still can’t help but get flustered whenever you’re affectionate in response to him. If your arms wrap around him, or you kiss him back, you can guarantee he’ll be blushing.

It took a while for the boys to be able to even find out anything about you because Donghae always got too shy and flustered whenever he told them about you. He’d start giggling midway through a story that he had to tell them, or stutter over his words as he hyped himself up, unable to contain his excitement about you.

His serious side would most definitely come out whenever you needed comforting, Donghae didn’t take too much to seriously, but when he knew that something, or someone, had hurt you, he’d be right by your side to put it right, holding onto you and talking you through everything to try and keep you calm.

Although he’s not the best when it comes to being domesticated, Donghae always tries his best to help you and show off how much of handyman he can be. He definitely has his strengths, his muscles being a big one for you, often asking him to help you open things or lift things up when you’re not quite strong enough. Each time you ask, Donghae gets a kick out of it, knowing that his strength impresses you.

E ⇴ ENGAGEMENT

He was a wreck in the build up to his proposal, not quite knowing what to say or do. In the end, the boys had to shake him back together and reassure him that nothing could ever go wrong. Each one of them knew how much you liked Donghae, with you even mentioning a proposal around Hyukjae a couple of times. Without the boys, Donghae knew that he would have never plucked up the courage to ask you to marry him.

F ⇴ FAVOURITE THING

Donghae’s favourite thing about being with you was having company, and never having to feel lonely. The other boys warned you about how clingy and needy Donghae could be, which was something you soon learnt. You loved it though, you loved the feeling of knowing that someone always wanted you, and that whenever you got home, Donghae would be happy to see you and hugging you tightly too.

G ⇴ GOING OUT

Quite often the two of you would go out on walks in the city rather than stay at home and laze around. You especially loved going out at night and heading down to the river, sitting down as the sunset before walking back home, trying your best to get back to your apartment before it got too cold for you both.

The two of you put a lot of planning to your honeymoon to make sure that it was the perfect balance of what the two of you wanted. Although Donghae left you to do most of the organising, he’d made sure to give his opinion on plenty of things so that you didn’t run the risk of booking something that he didn’t like.

He would tell you he loved you, a lot, to make sure that it was something that you never forgot. The look in his eyes would always be a giveaway for you whenever Donghae was feeling jealous, catching him staring at someone straight away. As much as he trusted you, Donghae still had his guard up around other people, knowing how lucky he was to be with you. Luckily for him, you were always there to reassure him whenever something didn’t sit right with Donghae and stop him from worrying about things.

After the two of you got married, you definitely found yourselves talking about kids a little bit more. Both of you had been open from the very start of your relationship that having a family was a dream for you, the only hurdle that now seemed to be in your way was finding the right time to start trying properly together.

Passionate boy. Pretty much always up for it. His work can be tiring so he doesn't always initiate it, but if you do he won't turn you down. Finds any excuse, birthday, anniversary, you cooked him a great meal, he missed you, he was late one time. He can and will fix issues with sex.

Heechul

A big tease in the build up/foreplay. When it comes down to the act, an actual sweetheart. Likes it to be about just the two of you. Tries not to bring outside stress/anger or anything into the bedroom. Can be a bit selfish at times but will always make sure you finish even if he's finished and uses his fingers. Gives 0 fucks about gender norms/expectations. Will just go will the flow.

Yesung

A/N: this took me quite a while to do since there are so many members haha. I hope you like it!

Siwon: Siwon is known to be very optimistic and enthusiastic so no doubt would your relationship be very fun and filled with joy. He is also very friendly and would honestly win your family over at first glance. Some dates with your hubby would include volunteering with UNICEF and cute cafe dates. On some days when you don’t feel like cooking, you’re in luck because Siwon is a god at cooking. Whatever you want to eat, he would do his best to make it just for you. He is known to be a very flexible guy and adapts to change very well so if there is any conflict, he would no doubt be the first out of the two of you to suggest a solution that does not compromise your arguments too much. Moving, this guy will always be loyal to you. He respects women a lot and would never ever cheat on you. This will probably put your mind at ease knowing that your man will never look at another woman except for you. But that does not mean to abuse his trust. He will nonverbally expect you to do the same. One of the few flaws that Siwon has is trying to not rely on you when he needs it. He has that mentality that he can make it on his own without burdening you. It might take a couple of encouragements (and maybe arguments) before Siwon knows that his burdens are your burdens and vice versa. 

Leeteuk: Now, since Leeteuk is the leader, he has a lot of pressure being the ideal member. This will most likely follow through to marriage where he thinks that he has to be the perfect husband for you. You would have to remind him that you don’t expect to be the most perfect man for you and that you just want him to be who he is. He is the most respectful human being you will ever meet. Your parents would probably feel bad when he keeps bowing to them, thanking them for giving you to him. In addition, Leeteuk is known to be very supportive of others so no doubt, he will be very, very supportive of your career in whatever field you choose. One of his pros is that he rarely gets angry. He will always talk out problems with you, no matter how serious or silly they are. Every argument will always end up in the two of you hugging it out. One thing that Leeteuk is known for is sometimes taking responsibility for others’ actions. He wouldn’t realize that he is doing it because he is so used to doing it. Most likely will he do that with you so just make sure that you take responsibility for every action that you do. 

Heechul: Heechul would be such a playful husband, honestly. Every single day with him would be extremely loud and fun. It would be as if you were at an amusement park. Although every day might be very joyful, there are some days where both of you are just not feeling each other. He has a very short temper so there might be arguments between the two of you. Of course, it would end in laughter and cuddles. To Heechul, punctuality is very very important to him. Expect the wedding to be going by the schedule in every second of the event. Speaking of weddings, don’t think he will sit and go by your opinions; he will most definitely have opinions of his own about how he wants the wedding to look like. He honestly might just wear a blue suit because why not. In the end, you guys might have quite a few arguments, there is nothing better than spending your whole life with your soulmate. 

Yesung: Yesung is very much a sweetheart so give yourself a slap on the back for catching a guy like him. He is very sensitive and would hold a lot of emotions. He probably cried like two gallons worth of tears at your guys’ wedding. Now, although you might be married to Yesung, you’re practically married to Eunhyuk based on how much the guys hang out at your place. As said on shows. It was mentioned on shows but Yesung loves to touch his members’ lips while they sleep. Don’t think you’re an exception to this either. You’ll probably wake up to Yesung touching your lips since 5 am. Your honeymoon will most likely be in Canada since it’s his dream to have his honeymoon there. The two of you would be such as a touristy couple. In all, being married to Yesung is like being married to a teddy bear. 

Shindong: Like Heechul, marriage life with Shindong is basically like being with a high-class jester. He would no doubt make you laugh everyday with his witty comments and weird personality. One of his many talents is being an amazing videographer so some moments of your life would be filmed but not necessarily be put on public display; it’s for his eyes only. At times, both of you would have a deep conversation about Korean society and how he is made fun of only for his size. You would have to remind him that his size does not define his whole personality and how he is worth more than his appearance. In all, love and remind Shindong for the whole he is, not what he portrays to the public.

Sungmin: He is known to be the god at doing everything and anything. You would have no problem with learning things from him. If you don’t know how to play the guitar, well, expect him to teach you. A pro of his is that he is very calm and patient, so he won’t be frustrated with you when you might be a bit slow at learning; this type of personality is very great for teachers because it puts their students in a more calm environment and not put their student in stress mode, trying to grasp the lesson. Maybe after a couple of lessons, you would want to give your lovely husband a gift for his hard work. Just know that he does not like getting expensive gifts. He is that type of person where he feels the burden of receiving such an expensive gift; almost as if he owes you something bigger. Halloween would honestly be his favorite holiday because he loves pumpkins and squashes. What better holiday than Halloween would have all month long pumpkins?! Moving to living with Sungmin. Now, he is known to be OCD so it would not be surprising that the house will be spotless. He’s like a housewife in his own way. At times, the two of you would just be in different rooms at home without being mad at each other. That’s because Sungmin values his alone time and he absolutely needs it (like everyone else) to maintain his energy and mental health. In all, he would be a very sweet husband towards you and would love you endlessly. 

Eunhyuk: Eunhyuk would be one of the humblest husbands out there. Because he grew up in a poor household, he knows how to utilize his money. It has been studied that adults who grew up poor are more stress than their middle-class counterparts. With this study, Eunhyuk might be more stress than others, specifically financial reasons. Although the two of you might be well off and are not struggling to meet ends meet, he would ponder over savings and what to spend on. In addition, growing up in poor conditions didn’t allow him to take classes but he was still able to practice dancing by himself as a kid, which shows that he is very talented. This indicates that he is very passionate about things that he takes interest in. Whatever he might be interested, he will put 150% into it. If you were to want him to teach you something that he loves to do, no doubt would he put his hard work into it. You might even become a pro after a day of lessons with him. You know those cute little moments where couples feed each other their food? Yea that probably won’t happen with Eunhyuk. Not only does he despised cringy moments but he hates sharing his food. Don’t think just because you’re married to him does he make an exception; maybe like once or twice. He is the third sensitive baby here. When arguments occur, he would go to another room and cry it all out. You would have to hold him and remind him that you are here for him. Fun fact: Hyuk loves stuff animals and sleeping with a lot of pillows and plushies near him. Your guys’ bed would be filled with pillows and plushies and you would wake up with him all of the floors with him either hugging you or his giant plushie. 

Donghae: Since he is considered the prince of the group, you snatched yourself a royal. He would be such a cute husband. Since he is very close to his parents, specifically his father, he would want you to have the same type of relationship with your parents-in-law. Maybe not as close as he is with his father because that might be a bit difficult, but he would want you to have a good relationship with them. Because of his relationship with his father, Donghae would want the same with his child in the future. Moving on, one fact that is known about Donghae is that he is very affectionate and responsible. Expect that even if you’re with other members, you’ll still be snuggled by Donghae. He would not waste any space that is between the two of you. If you needed him to look after the pets and your cousins, he would no doubt do a good job with it. Being a responsible baby makes him trustworthy to do anything. At times, Donghae would pull you up early in the morning to go to the gym with him because he loves to exercise. In the scenario that you don’t like to exercise, he would still drag you to the gym but maybe not as often. Another known fact about Donghae is that he hates to eat alone or being alone, explaining why he is very affectionate. He would expect you to be there to eat with him for every meal so he can tell you about his day and you can tell him about your day. In addition, Donghae loves to be cared for and you would most likely baby him so often, like Heechul. Overall, Donghae and you would have a loving relationship where both of you would baby each other to death. 

Ryeowook: Ryeowook would be such a sweetheart towards you. He would love to cook for you whenever you don’t feel like cooking or you’re getting home late. Your hubby would be at the dining table with dinner ready right when you walk straight into the apartment. If you’re sick, be prepared for Ryeowook to be nursing you to death. You would be getting better in one day from how much he worries about you. A fact about Ryeowook is that he likes to wear make-up. The both of you would have the same make-up drawer and at times share make-up tips. Whenever Ryeowook has a day off, he would sleep for a long period of time. You would wake up to him dead asleep and has no intention of getting up. Fun fact: he says I love you a lot when he’s drunk so expect affection and lots of cute loving words from him when the two of you go out for a drink. Ryeowook takes good care of his skin so expect you guys doing your skincare routine together every single night. There would be times where you find Ryeowook in the bedroom, wrapped in the blanket and just watch korean drama for 10 hours. Being married to Ryeowook would be very fun and full of joy! He would make a great husband. 

Kyuhyun: One thing that everyone knows about Kyuhyun is that he is a GENIUS. He is legit good at math. If you have any trouble with your college work then Kyuhyun is a great resource to use for when you need help. At times, the two of you would just have a date at the library because he loves to read in his free time. It would be very cute, especially if you hate reading and is just taking a nap while he just stares at you and smile. Since Kyuhyun is known to the evil maknae of Super Junior, he would tease you constantly. Of course, there would be times where he would joke over your comfortable limits and you would have to talk to him that it wasn’t funny. Other times, the two of you would have a good laugh. Life with Kyuhyun would never be dull and you will always feel the love.

Leeteuk: at first he'll be like "fck fuck fUcK." The members would all be shocked, except for Heechul and Shindong who knew you were made for each other a long time ago. The mc's would tease him the rest of the show just for the members to make it worse. Jungsoo would leave with a red, blushed face but expressing his love and admiration for you in a cheesy way. Expect it.

Heechul: as Leeteuk, he knew he fucked up. So the teasing is real, like everyone would tease him. And the fact that you were going to be a guest the next week wasn't good. Siwon would be fanboying bc he knew what was happening, and the members (specially Donghae and Shindong) would tease him singing your songs whenever he speaks. And would blush every 5 seconds, smiling like an idiot.

Yesung: he would cover up his face with his hands immediately. Everyone would laugh and tease him at the same time, but our precious soft emo boi wouldn't be able to speak. He's just waiting for the heat on his cheeks to brush off while Eunhyuk and Heechul tease him nonstop. Yesung loves you tho and would even send you a messsage bc the members are asking pressuring him to do it.

Shindong: he also knew he fucked up, but would try to keep his cool. The members would laugh and some of them, like Hyukjae and Heechul would be shocked because he never, ever made a hint or showed that he liked you. Mcs also would tease our variety boy, but he's pretty calm and down on the situation. Might feel a little relief too bc you guys are not a secret anymore.

Kangin: the other mcs would be like "????" because he said it on his own show by mistake so- Hyungs would tease him very, very hard and keep asking questions about it because they had no freaking idea, it would be his time to shine now for the wrong reasons, and he'll keep blushing and become a stuttering mess. Honestly it would be a chaos and Leeteuk would have to calm everything bc they're the chaos.

Sungmin: the first one to react would be Heechul with his loude voice asking screaming what/how/when it happened and Eunhyuk screaming bc he knew that something was happening between you two. Also there'll be teasing until the end of the show, but might as well feel relief since he's just being honest and he loves you dearly.

Donghae: boy would totally forget where he is and just let it slip. Some members knew but the ones that didn't would make a chaos on the studio, like running and screaming everywhere. He'd blush so much, maybe would even cry bc he loves you a lot but he didn't want people ,and specially elf to know it like that. Would recieve a lot of support from his members, as well as teasing bc yes.

Eunhyuk: the moment he said it Donghae and Yesung would be rolling on the floor, making him ashamed. Leeteuk would be laughing, but he got the feeling that you liked him as he did, would feel like a proud father honestly. Eunhyuk would blush soooo hard and Yesung would take revenge on him in that moment. The members would tease Eunhyuk too of course, but not as Yesung. The rest of the show would be like this, full chaos and jokes until the end.

Siwon: he'd realize what he said immediately and would regret it the rest of his life because, as Donghae, this is not the way he wanted people to know. But oof- it happened. The members would be shook af, asking how and when, like they didn't have any idea, but Heechul and Leeteuk surely noticed that Siwon was behaving different and you were the reason. They'll tease him hard, especially Ryeowook, until is the end and would make funny jokes about you two.

Ryeowook: our boy would blush immediately and the members would tease him as soon as they heard the news. Almost everyone noticed that he changed a little too, but they didn't make any speculations. They were surprised, but teasing never ends. Ryeowook will make them shut up for a while and some questions later, the teasing will be back until the show is over.

Kyuhyun: evil maknae is not evil anymore. He's out of words because he knew he fucked it up. Everyone would make jokes and tease him whenever he tries to speak or say something.
