A steady beeping sounded from the monitor standing guard over Eugene's hospital bed. A blip on the screen for every heartbeat. A sullen boy sat by his best friend's bedside, silver hair covering his eyes as his head hung low. On an intellectual level, Gray knew that it wasn't his fault. It wasn't him that pummeled Eugene to a pulp but Dongha. However, his heart screamed at him, declaring him guilty. Guilty of letting Eugene get hurt. Guilty of not being able to protect him. Guilty of not reaching him in time. Just like Stephen.

Gray wiped a palm across tired eyes, red and puffy from crying. He could barely bring himself to look at Eugene, lying bandaged and comatose before him. There was no time to waste, the war against the Union was brewing in the shadows; the White Mamba should be readying his strike. Yet all the boy could do was sit and wait in despair.

When he finally left Eugene's ward, Gray found a familiar face waiting by the door. They began walking out together.

"Hey Gray. How's he doing?" Ben asked, voice soft with concern.

"His wounds are healing well, but the nurses said they aren't sure when he will wake up." Gray replied. Ben hummed in acknowledgment, a deep resonant sound.

"Y'know, I heard that talking to people in comas helps a lot. Keeps em grounded in this world."

Gray peered up at Ben questioningly. "How would it? He can't hear me now." He spoke, voice hollow.

"Well, it's worth a shot. Better than sitting and blaming yourself all day."

Gray's eyes widened, "How-" Ben smiled gently and brought an arm around his shoulder.

"Gray, we all know you care for Eugene. We care about him too. You did what you could. How about you let him know too?" He said.

The next visit, Gray sat arranging a small bouquet of flowers into a slender vase. Gingerly, he transferred the bundle of blooms into the glass container. Sunflowers, yellow roses and lavender. He set the vase by the windowsill, where the afternoon sun streamed in, warming the back of Gray's head.

He settled into his place by Eugene's side and took a deep breath.

"Eugene, can you hear me? Ben said that talking would help, and I am eager to test this theory. It's been a troubling few weeks without you. All of us are worried. I fear you won't- no. I hope you will wake up soon. We care about you so much. I care about you. I know you have had insecurities about where you stand, so I will tell you the truth. You belong right here beside us.

"I truly enjoy your company, though I'm bad at expressing it. Thank you for being a friend from the beginning. I never knew how much I appreciated you until now. Thank you for trying your hardest to support me, thank you for staying by my side. Thank you for listening to me. And... I'm sorry.

"I'm so, so sorry I couldn't save you. I'm sorry I was too late. I'm sorry you got hurt and now you're... Please Eugene. You're my best friend. I need you." Gray choked back a sob, rubbing tears from his eyes.

Miraculously, like a rainbow after spring rain, the boy in the hospital bed stirred. "Gray...?" A hoarse voice wafted into the air. Eugene's eyes fluttered open and looked in Gray's direction. The silver haired boy perked up at the sound of his best friend's voice, rushing to his side.

"Thanks Gray... you're my best friend too."

My Hero ~ Lee Donghae

Your eyes snapped across the room as soon as you heard a laugh come from Donghae, watching as he typed away at his phone. He had no idea that you were watching him until he glanced up from his phone, the smile on his face still wide, eyes bright as he met yours which were full of confusion.

“You’ve got to see this,” Donghae told you as he stood up from where he was sat at the table in front of his laptop, walking around the room to get to you.

You shuffled along the sofa slightly to make room for Donghae as he held his phone out for you to take, noticing that he was at the top of a news article posted just an hour ago.

Your heart immediately raced as you began to scroll, especially as you noticed your name in the title. Yet, as you kept reading, you noticed exactly what had made the headlines with screengrabs of the latest Super Junior video posted of Donghae passing his jacket onto you.

“It seems that production caught the two of us in the background of their interview with Heechul on the set of the music video shoot,” Donghae laughed, “and the journalists are loving it too.”

Your head shook in disbelief as you scrolled all the way down to the bottom expecting some negativity, which never arrived. As you passed Donghae’s phone back across to him, you couldn’t understand what you had read, it was positive, for once.

“All I did was give you my coat because you were cold,” Donghae smirked, “and now all the entertainment papers are portraying me to be some sort of hero boyfriend.”

“How have you managed to make yourself look so good without meaning to be caught?”

Donghae’s shoulders shrugged as he glanced down at his phone as it vibrated, noticing a message come through in his group chat with the boys. You had no idea what it said, but as Donghae began to crack up again, you were pretty sure that you had a good idea.

After reading through, Donghae handed his phone to you again, allowing you to read through the messages that he was exchanging with all of the boys.

“Heechul’s not happy that we’ve ended up taking the attention away from him,” Donghae proudly grinned as he pointed to Heechul’s message on his phone, “he says next time he sees the two of us he’ll be sure to get some sort of revenge.”

After getting to the bottom of the chat, you handed Donghae his phone back once more as more messages came through, with the boys all impressed with how Donghae had subtly shown himself.

“You should read some of these, some of the comments are calling me perfect.”

Your eyes widened, refusing to believe Donghae until he showed you some of the comments, with several fans all expressing how jealous they were of you.

“I wish that Donghae gave my boyfriend tips on how to look after me,” you read through yet another one, scoffing underneath your breath.

You could tell as soon as you looked across at Donghae that he was enjoying the attention that he was getting from fans and journalists alike. The clip itself was only a few seconds long, with the two of you well hidden in the background, but his eagle-eyed fans had managed to clock the two of you perfectly together.

“Hyukjae wants me to post something about D and E,” Donghae soon laughed.

“Is promotion all he thinks about?”

Your eyes rolled at how typical it was of Hyukjae, encouraging Donghae to make the most of the attention he was getting to remind people of the two of them, earning himself plenty of complaints in the chat as the other seven wondered where their promotion was.

“I can’t believe you’ve managed to do this.”

“This is hilarious,” Donghae replied to you, “I mean I literally gave you my coat, some people are calling me Superman now.”

As happy as you were for the two of you to have a nice headline written about the two of you for a change, the smile on Donghae’s face soon began to get on your nerves. He was loving his role, mainly because for once he had the chance to tease the others for a change rather than allow them to tease Donghae.

“How long are you going to bang on about this at rehearsal tomorrow?”

Donghae’s eyes looked across to you as you spoke, “I will talk about nothing else and make sure that everyone at the company has read the article.”

“If one of them punch you tomorrow, it’s your fault.”

He couldn’t get enough of teasing the boys, showing you every single time when a frustrated message came through from one of the boys, which Donghae could joke in reply to you.

None of the boys could believe that their quiet member had managed to get the best headline out of all of them in sixteen years. For all the variety shows, and music show appearances they made, it was the simple act of giving a coat away that had given Donghae bragging rights over them.

“Do you think we could get this article printed actually?” Donghae asked you, “I want to give all of the boys their own copy tomorrow so that they don’t forget this.”

Your eyes could only roll at just how much Donghae was enjoying himself. “You know that they’ll get you back if you do anything like that. It already sounds like Heechul is on the verge of a breakdown having missed out on the attention because of you.”

He couldn’t take his eyes off of his phone screen, no matter how hard he tried. Donghae was obsessed with the article to say the least, basking in all the compliments that came his way and the praise that he was receiving for being such a good boyfriend to you.

“I guess I should feel lucky that I get to call superman my boyfriend,” you laughed across at him.

“You definitely should,” Donghae immediately agreed, “there are hundreds of fans in the comments right now wishing that they were in your shoes and wishing that they were able to get given my jacket from me.”

Your head shook as Donghae scrolled through some of the comments once again, reading out his favourites. Each comment that he read made him smugger and smugger, never seeing him as confident as he was right now.

To be recognised for being such a good boyfriend meant the world to Donghae, touched to have proven to everyone just how much he cared about you.

“I think from now on you should just tell everyone that I’m your hero,” Donghae suggested, “it seems to be what the article implies after all.”

“There is no way that I am introducing you as my hero.”

A loud intake of breath came from him, “if it wasn’t for me you would have been freezing cold during that shoot, but I came and saved you from the cold.”

“You gave me your coat,” you laughed, “I’m pretty sure that if I’d asked any of the boys for their coat, they would have said yes.”

“Just admit that I’m your hero,” Donghae teased, “there’s no need to be shy about it, we all need rescuing sometimes.”

Your head shook, “you’re enjoying this far too much, look at your smile.”

“Let me have my moment Y/N!”

The honeymoon phase was very much in full effect for you and Donghae, and Super Junior were enjoying teasing the pair of you.

You had tagged along to a schedule of theirs and were glued to your boyfriends's side in the dressing room.

"Ugh, stop flaunting your relationship," Shindong complained.

"We are just sitting next to each other," you countered, but Donghae saw an opportunity to tease the members further.

He simply leaned in and pecked your cheek. Giggling as the rest of the group groaned or gagged, you returned the kiss. As you enjoyed the reactions you were getting, you continued to peck little kisses all over his face. Donghae adorably scrunched his face up, wrinkling his nose and closing his eyes as your onslaught continued.

When you finally pulled away, you cupped his face between your hands. "You do realise doing that just makes you look cute and even more kissable, right?"

Instead of answering, he screwed his face up again and you gently kissed the tip of his nose.

"Donghae, please just stop," Kyuhyun interrupted, reminding you that you that you were actually in a room with other people.

Smiling sheepishly, you stopped kissing your boyfriend, choosing instead to snuggle into his side.

Movie night ~ Super Junior Donghae

A/N.: The idea of Dad!Donghae sounded too cute not to write so I had to do this kinda long drabble. Also inspired by D&E's Now Naver radio show where Donghae talked about [spoiler] The Little Mermaid 🥺 Genre: fluff, extremely cute family fluffy drabbleWarnings: -

"Hey, princess!" Donghae's cheerful voice greeted you over the phone. "I'm sorry I couldn't reply your texts, I got caught up at work. You wanted to talk to me?"

"Hi, sweetie! I was going to ask you to pick Haru at the daycare 'cause I'm trapped at work too, but took you too long so I called your mom since she's in town."

"I'm so sorry, princess, really." his tone went low and you knew he would tear up if you didn't interrupt him. "Damn, I should've-"

"Donghae-ah, it's ok, she's with your mom, don't worry, sweetie."

"But I should've been there to pick her up, Y/N!"

"You were trapped at work too, my love, don't worry. I wanted to ask you to pick her with your mom because I'll still be here for a while..."

"No problem, I'll go right now. See you at home?"

"Of course. And Donghae, don't give her sugar in the evening, ok? She won't sleep if you do."

"Not even a piece of chocolate?" he pleaded. You knew him too well at this point, you knew he was pouting over the phone. Maybe a piece of chocolate wouldn't hurt...

"Ok." you answered with a sigh and he giggled. "Don't give her too much! Otherwise you'll be staying up all night if she feels sick!"

"It's fine, princess, I got it all covered. Love you."

"Love you too." you hung up with a smile and went back to your work.

As you were busy and getting a migraine from work issues, Donghae was getting back home with your daughter, both giggling and excitedly making plans.

"How was my baby girl's day today?" he asked, putting her on the floor.

"It was amajing daddy!" the little one answered, running around the house.

"Haru-ah, your shoes!" Donghae called, making the little girl come back running and kick her outdoor shoes away. "Baby, that's not how we take off shoes. Come here, let's pick them up and put on the slippers."

The three-year old girl muttered an "ok" before Donghae changed her shoes and then sprinted back inside the house. He smiled to himself and followed her, grabbing her in his arms, winning a loud giggle and a soft yelp from her.

"Daddy, where's mommy?" Haru asked, plopping on the sofa and shaking her little legs energetically.

"Mommy is still working, baby." he said and she pouted. "Don't worry, sweetie, she's coming. Why don't I give you a bath and we find something to do while we wait for mommy?"

"Can we watch a princess movie?!"

"Of course we can." Donghae answered, taking her by the hand and guiding her to the bathroom. "You can choose whichever you want and daddy will watch with you."

Donghae was really dedicated to his father role in the house, truly committed to being his tiny princess's hero, which meant he'd do anything - from sorting out her mess to giving her a bath, dressing and combing her hair, singing and telling stories to her as he did so.

"Daddy, sing the rain song!" she pleaded with those beautiful eyes - she had his eyes.

"Not now." Donghae chuckled, finishing drying her hair. "Now you'll go to the living room and pick a movie for us and daddy will get us something delicious to eat, ok? You're ready for your mission?"

"Ye!"

"Ok, now go!" he sent her off with a smile and watched as his baby ran around the halls.

"Are you going to take too long?" he texted you.

"Not much, I'm almost done here. Why?"

"We're going to watch a movie and she has called for you already. Hurry up and join us for movie night, princess, we miss you"

"I'm coming." you typed back, grinning to yourself.

As you tried to get off work, Donghae and your daughter settled in front of the TV, putting on a load of Disney Princess's movies. A lot of toys were scattered on the rug where Donghae was sitting as his little one played with his hair and attempted to sing every single song on the movie.

"Daddy, Elsa can build snow doggies?" Haru asked, placing a tiny pink ribbon on a strand of his hair.

"I bet she can."

"She can build a snowman, she can build a snowdog too, right?"

"That sounds like a talk you should have with uncle Heechul." Donghae chuckled and Haru stared at him sternly.

"Uncle Chul know more about Elsa and her powers?"

"He surely does." Donghae tickled her, making her laugh louder than the movie.

"Can I call him? I wanna talk about Elsa!"

"Later, ok? Uncle Heechul is at work."

"Why is everyone at work?" Haru pouted. "Nobody wanna play with me..."

"Oh, no, sweetie, people work, it's normal. Sometimes we need to wait a little longer to play, but it doesn't mean they don't want to." she was still pouting, so Donghae kissed her tiny hands. "We'll wait for mommy and then we can call uncle Chul, ok? Don't you want to play with dad anymore? I'll let you style my hair again."

She picked another pink ribbon as Donghae put on another movie, slowly improving her mood - he even let her eat chocolate, which made her forget about adults working instead of giving her attention.

"Daddy, you have a faborite princess?" she asked, glueing her eyes on the screen.

"It's favorite, sweetie."

"Daddy, you didn't answer." he laughed.

"I do, baby."

"Which one?" her eyes were now glued on him, making him weirdly shy.

"The Little Mermaid..." he whispered, making a grin appear on Haru's tiny face.

"She has a really red hair! And a fish! Daddy, you like her because the fishes? And the sea? Your name means sea, right?" Donghae smiled at her.

"That's exactly why. But I do have two other favorite princesses in the whole world. Do you know who?"

"Is it me and mommy?" her eyes sparkled and he squeezed her in his arms.

"Yes, princess, it's you and mommy. You're both my favorite princesses ever." Donghae kissed her cheek. "And I love you both so much."

Haru giggled, softly kissing his chin and snuggling on his neck. "Love you daddy."

Donghae sighed blissfully. "What about you, baby, who's your favorite princess?"

The talk went on and on as they jumped between movies, debating serious questions such as why Dory is blue and yellow and how birds fly but can't breath under water. When you arrived home, you found Donghae snoozing on the sofa with Haru on his chest, the TV showing the credits from Zootopia and the lights turned off.

"Hey there." you whispered, walking in. The sound of your voice startled Donghae and he shined you a sleepy smile, tapping softly on Haru's back.

"Haru-ah, wake up. Guess who's here?" she lifted her head, gazing on your direction, her eyes going wide when she finally saw you.

"Mommy!" she yelled, stumbling over Donghae's body, making him groan in pain, to jump into your arms.

"Hi, sweetie." you took her, filling her cheeks with kisses. "How was your day with dad?"

"We watched princess movies!"

"Did you, really? Did you enjoy it?"

"She certainly did." Donghae approached you with his hair tied in a million pink laces and you giggled as he leaned in to peck your lips softly. "Hi, princess."

"Hi, my love."

"Mommy! Can we call uncle Heechul now?" Haru antsy asked in your arms and you frowned.

"Call Heechul?" you looked to Donghae, expecting an answer.

"She wants to talk about Elsa..."

You laughed, kissing her cheek again.

"We sure can." you said, hoping Heechul hadn't gone drinking after tapping today. "Let mommy take a shower and then we'll call uncle Chul."

Haru left out an "yay" as you put her down and Donghae smiled at you.

"Did you enjoy your movie night?" you asked, caressing his arms.

"Of course. Every moment I get to spend with her is memorable." he hugged you. "She reminds me of you."

"Does she?"

"She's tiny and curious and gets sad if people don't give her attention." you laughed, softly hitting him.

"I don't do that."

"You do. And I love you for that. And I love her for that too."

"I love her for that too." you smiled, kissing his chin.

"C'mon, let's call Heechul hyung and ask about Elsa."

You could only whimper in answer, leaving your face in Donghae’s neck to hide your beet red face. Your body trembled in his tight embrace, hearing the melodic claps fill the room along with soft music from the speakers on the kitchen counter.

‘Dinner for two, my place’ 

Your best friend always knew the best ways to cheer you up, but your most recent break-up had you feeling defeated. You spent your time working, gardening, and getting your heart broken every month. Donghae always came up with new ways to get your emotions out of gutter, remind you of your worth and prepare you for the world again. Through thick and thin your co-worker and best friend stayed by your side through it all. 

“Look at me baby.”

A particular hard stroke had your head popping out of it’s haven between Donghae’s neck, finally opening your eyes and giving him a lustful gaze. His dark eyes matched the look in yours, a tired smirk gracing his face as he continued to bounce you up and down his dick.

“Donghae might as well,” Heechul answers back from somewhere outside thebathroom, “I know his toothbrush is in there, and that’s definitely his pair ofunderwear in that basket. I know because I’ve worn it.”

“Haven’t we outgrown that phase?” Donghae moans. He really shouldn’t bethat surprised though if you’re honest.

His friend snorts. “Living apart means nothing, you know that.”

“Obviously, since you still don’t know how to knock. Ah, shit,” youmutter when you spot the empty hanger on the back of the door. “Donghae!”

You hear his bare feet come to the door. He cracks open the door, stayingoutside. “Yeah, baby? Are you almost ready? The movie starts in an hour and younever know what trailers they’ll show.”

“Can you bring me clothes, please? I must’ve left my robe in thebedroom.”

Chungsung's words echoed in the empty and immense dining room. Dongha's hand was holding a glass of water while his green eyes were blankly staring at the food the butler had cooked for him. What did it mean that his father wanted him to be educated by a private teacher? Again?! The following silence brought Chungsung to blink twice before trying to get the young master's attention again.

"Young Master?", he asked, getting a gaze in response. "I've heard you, Chungsung.", Dongha only said. His voice echoed in the room as he'd come back to eat, oh well.. to try to. In the background of his thoughts cutlery's noises were heard.

Dongha's father was always busy with work, so it was always so difficult for our small boy to spend even a minute with him, without hearing about the conglomerate he was about to inherit when older. But.. although that old man's successor was Dongha, yet he seemed not to see his son. It was like he was constantly ignoring him or avoiding him on purpose. Why? Dongha didn't know. Probably....

Thinking about it, Hajun's smiling face appeared through his thoughts, and the young master bit the bullet and suddenly stood up, deciding to go back to his own room. Chungsung, on the other hand, opened his eyes wide, surprised by Dongha's behaviour. He didn't even have enough time to think about something to say that the small Yeon said: "I'm not hungry anymore. Clean this mess, Chungsung."

"Yes, Young Master Dongha."

The next day Dongha was woken up by his butler, who helped him dressing up and getting prepared to meet the new private teacher. Dongha didn't know anything about that person. His father hadn't written anything but only about the fact that it was a woman. But still he didn't really understand his father's decision. Why would she have been hosted there?!

"The meeting was half an hour ago and she's late!.. I won't wait for more than two minutes!!", Dongha said, waiting for that woman who would have been his teacher from that day on. Finally exactly when he was about to go back to his room, someone rang the doorbell. As a programmed robot, Chungsung went immediately to the door and opened it, welcoming the guest as a good butler would. It was finally the teacher, of course, with her lugagge.. She was brought to the room where Dongha was waiting impatiently.

To his surprise, Dongha discovered that it was actually a young woman, not the old lady he was actually imagining. His green eyes opened wide at her look, actually, letting his egocentric behaviour out. Dongha didn't smile, nor show his surprise to see the teacher. He still thought about his father being distant, being quite cold towards him, to even ignore him sometimes. He hated it!

That's why the former lessons Dongha had with mc wasn't as funny or interesting as mc herself wanted them to be for the young master. Of course she didn't know about the frustration or the feelings of inferiority Dongha had, so she couldn't really understand his pain at first and thought the boy was simply annoyed and didn't want to learn anything at all.

On the other hand, though, Dongha got surprised by mc's knowledge and the fact that she could speak more languages. Probably his father had chosen that woman as a private teacher because of it: knowing more languages was important for a family like Yeons, who were quite rich and important.

"Are you even listening to me, Dongha?", it was the question mc asked him, especially during the former lessons. Mc was sweet and kind-hearted. It took a pair of lessons to understand that Dongha wasn't comfortable enough. His mind wasn't paying attention to her words, but keeping getting lost in thoughts, letting his own shape covered by Hajun's smile.

"You should call me Young Master or Dongha-sama!", Dongha answered, frowning his blonde eyebrows. Like.. how dare she?! Does she think she's talking to her brother?! She's in front of the amazing and incredible Dongha Yeon, successor of Yeon's conglomerate! A rich and young boy who can do whatever he wants, who could even conquer the world!!

Mc didn't say anything but kept doing her job, trying to teach him something about foreign languages. After a while, though, living with Dongha and Chungsung became the winning key of mc's job. She managed to understand completely what was going on, by eavesdropping some conversations between Chungsung and Dongha.

"Insects shouldn't speak!!", she heard Dongha yelling towards his butler and then whipping his back. Chungsung had dared to speak more than how he should have done. While he was whipping his butler's back, there were some tears letting Dongha's green eyes, running down his soft and peach-coloured cheeks. He did try to cover them by putting an angry expression on his face, by looking down.

Now mc knew. He needed more attention, to be understood and comforted. To be the centre of someone's heart, since he felt like he wasn't to his dad's one. That's why she didn't sleep but wrote an entire list of funny and interesting activities she could have done with small Dongha. A full schedule only for him!!

The next day Dongha's bored and tired expression changed suddenly when he saw that schedule, held by a smiling and excited mc, ready to have a new lesson!

"What are you happy about?..", Dongha asked. After that he looked at the schedule. It was... weird: there were simple activities, like going outside, talking to a friend and looking at the stars. "Are you making fun of me?! Where are all the lessons about Russian, English and German?!", he asked, frowning his eyebrows again and standing up with his hands on the table. He looked quite angry. How dare she to make fun of him?!

"There they are, Young Master!", mc answered and, after a while, she managed to convince the young blonde boy to have a walk with her. Her intention was to make him open up more. In this way she wouldn't have had any kind of trouble in teaching him languages! But first of all she needed to get his friendship at least, to make him feel kinda appreciated and cared of.

In a few days it happened and soon Dongha's attention was caught by more serious lessons of German or Russian. It was complicated for the young master to learn more languages at the same time, so he failed some small tests mc prepared for him.

"Aww, do not worry about it, Dongha-sama! You've did amazingly!"

Even if Dongha always showed his egocentric being, he kinda felt insecure after failing a lot, especially if he truly studied hard for those small tests. Probably he didn't show his insecurity though, or even tried not to, but mc understood everything.

That's why she prepared some simple handmade gifts to give Dongha when he finally succeeds. Mc noticed the Young Master's green jacket full of pins and got the idea to give him a star-shaped one every time he manages to pass a small test!

When Dongha did it, even if hardly (poor baby), mc smiled brightly, clapping her hands and approaching him with a golden star-shaped pin on her hands, handing it to him. The blonde and younger Yeon looked at her smile, opening his eyes wide and turned his attention towards that small gift she was handing him.

"𝐈𝐬… 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞?!…", he asked and allowed her to put that pin on his dark green jacket.

"Of course it is! It's just a small reward for all your efforts, Young Master!", mc smiled sweetly as Dongha smiled her back too. She didn't know but... That one had become Dongha's favourite pin among all those he had, even if it was handmade and not perfect.

Hi Luna!! Writing updates? Life updates? It's been a while since we heard from you, is this blog still active?

Hi! I'd love to write again, I'm just struggling to find things that capture my interest for it that I think you guys would also like to see. It's a delicate line between writing for myself and writing for others' enjoyment, and I've kind of burned out on writing for Pentagon, just like I burned out on writing for Seventeen, most likely because I hyper-fixated on them so intensely for such a long period of time. I can't think of anything to write for them that I haven't already done - and I can only do so much with requests that are like "so-and-so and thigh riding" when I've already written that once or twice or more. If there were newer prompts, then I might be able to find some inspiration there. There are some more popular groups I'd like to try writing like Stray Kids, or older groups like specific members of Super Junior or Shinee, but the latter doesn't seem popular on here and the former didn't get any interest when I brought it up before. I want to find something I both would like to do and that you guys would like to see as well.

I've been having a really tough time lately, both with mental and physical health and college [I'm enrolled in two right now] so I've kind of ended up reverting back to comfort singers of mine, which are a lot of 2nd gen idols. Eunhyuk, Minho, Donghae, Hanhae, Tei, Key, etc, and I haven't really said anything about them on here bcs I know no one really cares about them when it comes to fics on Tumblr, and even less when they're written as sub. I did have a thing I wrote that I was going to post on here, but I had a mental breakdown shortly after finishing it and ended up deleting it entirely lol. @funkywinkyboy got to experience what the mental breakdown was like, it wasn't pretty.

In the mean time, I'll give a suuuper short recommended list since I am a failure as a writer, so maybe you can get your fic-fix through them instead:

Suddenly his hands uncovered your closed eyes and his masculine voice hit your ears,"Open your eyes baby". You opened your eyes slowly only to see yourself standing in the middle of the breezy beach with sands all around and a circle shaped restaurant covered in red materials, matching with your dress(which he got for you) and his shirt,made for only two. The table was decorated with pink and red flowers on white cloth. You couldn't believe your eyes. "What is this?", You mumbled out in awe.

"Candle Light Dinner!", The young man yelled excitedly looking at you. "Happy Anniversary baby", Hyuck said holding your right hand softly rubbing it as his shimmering eyes met yours, watering on his words. "Hyuckie,you remembered....", You hugged him in joy as you felt like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world. He hugged you back accepting that he craved that hug for quiet some time now.

"I know the days to come. They're too uncertain and I'm sorry for the past", the young man nibbles in your ears. His words kind of disturber because they sounded so sad as if he was going to be gone again.You let go of the hug slightly to look into his eyes, "what do you mean?". "Omo! Don't look at me like that. I'm embarrassed! But that means I love you", he said dramatically holding his chest making you laugh and blush at the same time. In no time, he dragged you towards the table that had a red velvet flavoured cake placed on it with Happy First Anniversary written on it. He slowly gestured, "Let's blow the candles on the count of 3, okay?". You nodded happily. You both had the most wonderful dinner that you had ever had before. Candles lightening your personal restaurant, sea growling behind you, the sound of the waves giving you both comfort and nostalgic feelings,the soft and chilly wind hitting your hair as you both tried to keep the candle alit despite the wind being so strong.

Not to mention the little dance by the sea on your Song at the end of the dinner as he nibbled in your ears, "will you be with me at this time next year too?". You took a deep breath in his arms while dancing in the rhythm he had created and replied, "I'll be with you at the same time, for the next 100 years".

It took a while for the boys to be able to even find out anything about you because Donghae always got too shy and flustered whenever he told them about you. Each time you ask, Donghae gets a kick out of it, knowing that his strength impresses you.

He was a wreck in the build up to his proposal, not quite knowing what to say or do. In the end, the boys had to shake him back together and reassure him that nothing could ever go wrong. Each one of them knew how much you liked Donghae, with you even mentioning a proposal around Hyukjae a couple of times. Without the boys, Donghae knew that he would have never plucked up the courage to ask you to marry him.

F ⇴ FAVOURITE THING

Donghae’s favourite thing about being with you was having company, and never having to feel lonely. The other boys warned you about how clingy and needy Donghae could be, which was something you soon learnt. You loved it though, you loved the feeling of knowing that someone always wanted you, and that whenever you got home, Donghae would be happy to see you and hugging you tightly too.

Quite often the two of you would go out on walks in the city rather than stay at home and laze around. You especially loved going out at night and heading down to the river, sitting down as the sunset before walking back home, trying your best to get back to your apartment before it got too cold for you both.

The two of you put a lot of planning to your honeymoon to make sure that it was the perfect balance of what the two of you wanted. Although Donghae left you to do most of the organising, he’d made sure to give his opinion on plenty of things so that you didn’t run the risk of booking something that he didn’t like.

He would tell you he loved you, a lot, to make sure that it was something that you never forgot. In the most random moments, Donghae would suddenly come out with it, when he noticed you being pretty distant, he’d say it to give you something to think about, knowing that whenever he said it, it made you shy too.

The look in his eyes would always be a giveaway for you whenever Donghae was feeling jealous, catching him staring at someone straight away. As much as he trusted you, Donghae still had his guard up around other people, knowing how lucky he was to be with you. Luckily for him, you were always there to reassure him whenever something didn’t sit right with Donghae and stop him from worrying about things.

After the two of you got married, you definitely found yourselves talking about kids a little bit more. Both of you had been open from the very start of your relationship that having a family was a dream for you, the only hurdle that now seemed to be in your way was finding the right time to start trying properly together.

It took a lot of effort from you on your lazy days to try and convince Donghae not to get up and head to the gym, trying your best to keep him with you. He was onto you every single morning to make sure that you ate breakfast, reminding you every morning too that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. If he had the time, Donghae would even end up making breakfast for you so that he could ensure that your body was filled with what it needed.

One of Donghae’s favourite things to do at night was lay down on your chest and let you play with your hair. It was usually his neediest time around you, laying there with a pout until you began to brush through the strands.

Donghae was obsessed with your caring nature and how well you looked after him. Although he could take care of himself, he loved having someone do it for him, knowing that you were always looking out for him.

Being able to enjoy quiet time with you meant a tremendous lot to Donghae, with that usually being whenever the two of you headed out for a walk. The two of you had your fair share of quiet moments, with neither of you being particularly loud people. Out of the two of you as well, Donghae would usually be the one to break the silence, it never normally took long for him to start searching for a bit of attention from you, slowly moving across to you too.

Donghae’s biggest tip for keeping things going well with you was understanding and taking an interest in each other. Every day he knew what you were doing so that he could try and organise himself around you.

Nothing hurt him more than knowing that you were upset, with Donghae doing everything that he possibly could to try and make you smile again.

V ⇴ VISITS

The boys would often pester Donghae when they knew that you had a day off, wondering why he hadn’t invited you to join them. They loved having you around, mainly because you took such good care of them all too.

There was no way that Donghae was going to push his luck on wishing, he already had more than enough, nothing else was needed.

Quite a lot of the time you could feel how shy Donghae was just in the way that he kissed you. He’d start off pretty strong, but as he pulled away from you, you’d be able to tell with how soft he was, how timid he was getting.

He prided himself on being the big spoon as the two of you fell asleep, wanting to make sure that you felt safe and protected as you slept, with Donghae usually holding onto you all through the night too.
