Wanted to start the May set-up with flowers because in my hometown it is a month in which the whole city is full of flowers. We celebrate festivities like "Los Patios", "Las Cruces" and the funfair, but this year it's imposible due to the lockdown 😭

11.22.2020 - first snowy evening of the season & taking notes on the middle ages as prep for my first World History After the 15th Century Class! I finished the first quadmester of my senior year this friday and whew, I still feel burned out. But it’s back to work we go, with Writer’s Craft and History for the next couple months, so fingers crossed!

Today went well! I managed to get some reading done as I’d been neglecting my book lately 🥰 I also started up on learning hiragana again! During GCSEs I forgot about it but with all the free time I had I figured it would be good to begin again ☺️✨🌿

I’ve been reading about Frank Kameny, an astrologer and crucial part of the gay rights movement who I’d never heard of until this New Yorker article about him in the June 29th issue. He’s described as “square and unromantic,”- which I think explains a lot about why I haven’t really heard of him. 

I think the straight need to romanticize and eroticize the LGBTQ+ movement throughout history as some poetic, tragic, pining battle tends to erase many of its pioneers who do not meet that rose-coloured view of things.
