more project! we did a lot today, 8h on the project, got a lot of stuff working, which is really good! we went to subway for lunch (it was my first time and the iced tea tasted like dirty water lmao) and then we ate dinner with our bestie and it was really nice! i think it was an exhausting day, but a mostly nice one imo

I think I want to focus more on my life apart from studies too on this blog, and it has been apparent in my posts recently. Here’s some moments of the day that gave me peace : journaling and reading a book in my favourite cafe.

Welcome to this blog. I think if you’ve found me then your looking for helpful study tips. Here are three things that you can do before you start studying which makes studying effective.

Step 1: set the mood

Open some curtains. Light a candle. Wear comfy clothes. All these things can really settle you down for a quicker and effective study session.

Step 2: to do list

If you have many things to do on the day, do those first. From personal experience, having other things that you have to do on your mind can cause information to go in one ear and out the other. Complete those chores before you crack open the books.

Step 3: prepare

Say for example the lesson you are revising for has many topics you need to cover. If you are confident in some of these topics then don’t revisit them. This can be a really handy trick last minute. Maybe colour code the subjects on a neat table like these:

i went back for my first braces checkup post operation and the progress is going well! also today i got an offer from the university of sydney (for psych honours) and you guys have no idea how happy and relieved i am. this is going to be a very new and exciting chapter for me!

First day of class and i already get used to write in the ipad, i thought it would be difficult while the teachers are talking but as soon as i realized i could take notes easer than online classes ☁️

New spreads in a new journal! I have semester end exams in January so I gotta pump myself up.

I know 2021 was horrible for a lot of people due to the pandemic, politics, and a horde of other factors, and I hope they have better days ahead. Personally, 2021 was one of my better years recently. Probably my best year since high school. I found my identity and voice in many more ways than one.

I, like, everyone, am really skeptic about 2022. But a girl can hope, right?

Well then I'm gonna keep hoping. 2022 is going to give me some closure.

IA is almost done, but it's giving us a major headache like... i want to sleep. please. i also want to submit something just in case sth happens but my colleague is like no, we're not doing it until it's perfect, so i'm stressin'~ i so so want it to be done tomorrow. please, for the love of my sanity!

my first final exam is coming. i decided to start preparing for my theory of law test a week before it because of my mental illness. it’s better if i divide the material into chunks rather than pull an all-nighter. my mental health is my main concern. hope you guys are staying safe these days!
