can everyone reblog this and add their favorite journal/study/productivity apps?
I start with mine:
Tumblr media
Notion: for tracking movies/books, creating lists and goals
Tastify: a little room where you can add the things that you loved during the month (such as music, movies, books and more)
Repov: journaling app in which you can upload pictures and create cards, you can also make wishlists and write reviews
Folderly: create folders with tasks you want to finish, you can also create a student ID and add your schedule
GeulBox: add your favorite articles and quotes from movies, books and more
MyRoutine: habit tracker
Mooda: mood tracker, you can add pictures and write about your day
Talking Potatoes: daily challenge to keep up with things you want to do on daily
note: I am not sponsored by any of these apps, some of them I downloaded recently and still need to get the hang of it, I use an iPhone and can’t guarantee that all the apps are also on android

(Fr you entrance exam folks both keep me humble and inspire me to work hard and I hope you all get the results you want)

December 16, 2023
When your life consisted of fighting for two steps forward, that were always followed by one step back, you begin to feel weak and easily overpowered.
Success begins to feel like heroin coursing through my veins, awakening parts of me I forgot existed.
I told you to fight with me, not against me. Yet I feel no remorse over walking away, no matter what shape that took.
I am just recognizable enough that I know a piece of you will always wonder what could have been.
I am just enough of a mystery that the ghosts of my past will wish they stuck around to meet this me.
This me is energetic, confident, prepared, strong, loving and peaceful. This me doesn’t need you.
This me doesn’t need anything, I am everything.

Hi guys!
I haven't posted any story in the past few months, I apologize, but uni has been hard and I'm struggling with studying. Because of that, I've decided to test some apps to help me with motivation and focus. The first I've downloaded is Focus Plant.
Because I know there are a lot of peole here who have the same problems as me, I'll be updating you about my progress with this app and if it's worth it. Maybe I will also start writing again.
Day 1
Rn I've studied for 50 minutes, I'm going to continue until I'm done with at least 2 topics for my exam. I already have 7 plants.
Day 4
Study time: 10 hrs 30 minutes (together)
Today: 0 (planning a study session in an hour)
Plants: 18
Topics done: 8/17 (today I plan on finishing 4-5)
I've noticed improvement in my studying, rn I'm able to do 2 pomodoro sessions in row (25 min/5 min break + 30 minute break after the 4th). I still have a lot to study for my exam, so (hopefully) I will be able to finish it on time.
The app has motivated me because I like collecting stuff in general and the little plants are cute.
Edit: I also used the app for cleaning and managed to finish under 2 hrs. Yay!
Day 7
Study time: 25 hrs 30 minutes (together)
Today: 0
Plants: 23
Topics done: 17/17
Today I took my exam and got an A! I'm so happy with the progress I've made. And because this was my last exam and for the next few weeks I have holidays, I will switch from studying to using the Focus Plant for my hobbies. I wanna read and write again, but also try new things, so I will be giving you updates on these things for now (until uni starts again).
Reading time: 20 minutes
Day 21
Focus time (February): 19 hrs 43 minutes
Today: 0
Plants: 23
Most focus: Creative work
I've been using the app when I was trying to focus on hobbies or cleaning so here are the stats:
7,5 hrs on creative work (drawing, writing, embroidery, etc.)
5 hrs spent cooking
3 hrs on random studying
2,5 hrs on cleaning
1,5 hrs reading Animal Farm
I'm so happy I finally found a way to study, I've always struggled with it as I never really learnt how to study. Uni starts next week, so this will be my last update until then.

It benefits experiential learning to have a National Education Policy
Experiential learning involves activities that engage learners in direct experience of the subject matter. It is based on the concept that learning occurs through reflection on doing. It is best supported by an environment that allows exploration, experimentation, and practice. It is a key component of the National Education Policy.
Tumblr media
Experiential learning can benefit students as it allows them to gain real-world knowledge and build skills applicable to their future career. It can also help students develop a more meaningful connection to their studies, increasing engagement and motivation. Additionally, experiential learning provides students with the opportunity to practice and refine their communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in a safe environment. This can help to prepare them for the challenges of the workplace and give them a competitive edge.
Experiential learning also encourages students to become more independent learners, with the ability to think critically and creatively and to draw their own conclusions. This can help to create more engaged and self-motivated learners.

I’m going to try switching from Forest to Flora this week. I mostly want to plant more real trees from studying and I like the tracker feature and cute trees, but I’m going to miss my TinyTAN in Forest. 😭 I might still use Forest for my regular hobbies so I get my TinyTAN fix lol.
Idk if you’ve used both, what do you think of each?
