DM: At the end of the ball, Dorphi approaches you quietly. "Not to alarm you, but word is there's a raging street party outside your manor. It's not dangerous, they seem to be celebrating your coronation. I've sent additional guards to supplement yours. If you'd rather avoid all that you're welcome to stay the night in the palace."

Hamish (playing Thaddeus): Hmm, we probably shouldn't come swooping in on our griffons.

Adam (playing Billie): Or maybe I should! Give the people what they want! Yeah, I'm going to.

DM: You cause a stir. There's lots of cheering.

Hamish: I go out and check out the party.

DM: There's strong good feeling toward both Billie and Emperor Cherish. There's a tiny element of 'Why do we need him, let's just go back to Gandarall days already' but it's a minority, people seem very happy with the merger.

Hamish: I'll monitor those comments but don't get involved if it seems minor. Is there food?

DM: Yes, there's food, alcohol, and drugs of the legal and illegal varieties. Nobody tries to sell you drugs.

Hamish: I give them a disapproving glare anyway.

DM: "I don't wanna sell you deathsticks. I wanna go home and rethink my life."

Hamish: Yeah, get out of here. Not on my doorstep.
