Hi! This might be a strange kind of question, but what kind of bra are the models wearing when showing off the picnic top? I'm on the bustier side and generally speaking strapless bras haven't worked out very well for me, but the girls all look so cute! Are they just wearing their regular bra and shifting the straps down, or something else entirely? Thank you for your time and all the cute skirts and clothes in general! Super excited to get my hands on a few of my own when I go visit a friend in the US next year :D
they're just wearing their regular bras with the straps shifted down in our promotional pictures!
the sleeves also come up high enough to hide regular straps if you want to wear the top more on your shoulders, as opposed to the off the shoulder look.

Let's say I enjoy wearing lingerie... what else can I add to the outfit? I want to wear as much as possible as far as pieces. Is there anything more than bra, panties, garter, stockings? It feels amazing being covered in multiple things
Two things come to mind. First, a choker or necklace. If you're wearing a bra, bustier, or strapless top, you'll have a lot of empty real estate between the nipples and throat. Some kind of ornamentation helps fill it out and makes the outfit look a little more put-together.
Second, you might consider some kind of robe. It could be the silky satin you see most places, but there are also a lot made of transparent lace or mesh if you'd prefer something more risque.
If you'd rather go with the former, there are about five million stores on Etsy that sell them in a bunch of colors. They're meant for bridal parties, so they're around $20 apiece (versus the $50ish they start at in many lingerie stores). Plus, you can customize them with words on the back if you'd like (baby, princess, kitten, etc. Good luck getting anything dirty written on them, though.)

FASHION CREDITS: JAZZ & PIANO SHOW 4.0 PART I
Lady Gaga made a triumphant return to Las Vegas where she'll be staying until July to complete another round of her highly sought-after Jazz & Piano residency shows! And of course, she brought a whole new batch of costumes styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout along with her.
First, we‘re hopping onto our virtual plane where I‘ll be taking you to Marbella, Spain to once again meet with young fashion designer Adrián Manceras who‘s kind enough to let us take a look in his atelier where he crafted Gaga‘s opening number: a fabulous cocktail dress showered in champagne sequins, finest crystals and delicate fringe trimmings!
I can‘t help but notice how Gaga sticks to the same designer when it comes to the opening number‘s look. From headpiece down to the shoes. Yet, she changes the design every time she comes back to Vegas.
Here, she‘s donning yet another insane showgirl-inspired headdress with turkey feathers and Swarovski crystals by the ever-so talented Arturo Rios who sent me this image JUST for your eyes!
The Italian-American entertainer topped her look off with a new custom pair of Laruicci crystal statement earrings
Her favorite Jimmy Choo metallic silver Anouk stiletto pumps provided the finishing touches.
The choice of purple was as unexpected as the combination of sequins, feathers (provided by Mother Plucker Feather Company), and PVC. Yet, this look struck me the most, standing out in a sea of bold fashion statements!
Delving into La Maison Gaga reveals an intriguing history behind her glamorous wardrobe. LA-based designer Michael Costello has been crafting stunning caftans for Gaga for a decade. His journey with her began in 2014 when he designed a sequined piece similar to this one for her "Cheek to Cheek! Live" performance . This collaboration marked the start of a creative partnership that has since produced numerous iconic looks, each more dazzling than the last.
Michael also collaborated with Gladys Tamez Millinery on the halo-like black feather pillbox headpiece!
New York City-based heritage jewelry brand A.JAFFE created some of the earrings, including these teardrop stunners!
Gaga surprised her audience last night with a special rendition of "Americano". It‘s been 12 years since she performed that song!
For this act of the show, Perry Meek whipped out a stunning dress even Jessica Rabbit wouldn't pass upon.
Crafted from red crystal mesh, this dress features an off-the-shoulder hourglass silhouette, trimmed with red ostrich feathers. And it comes with a matching coat!
Her Harriet wired red feather fascinator is a hand-made piece by Carrie Jenkinson Millinery ($331.79), one of the UK's leading fashion milliners.
This white-gold crescent earring set surrounded by differently cut diamonds is another A.JAFFE design.
And I hope I’m not the only one who‘s drooling over these Jimmy Choo Romy crystal-encrusted red pumps.
Then, Gaga stuns on stage in a total Giorgio Armani look which comprises this plush black velvet strapless bustier column dress with crystal band embellishment ($4,777) and the Fall/Winter 2018 Privé Haute Couture pink ostrich feather coat she previously wore for her V Magazine 2019 cover!
Gaga's MUA Sarah Tanno-Stewart collaborated with Face Lace on all the differently designed crystal eye stickers for the residency!
LG debuted a bunch of new looks on her second night and the uber-talented Michael Costello had another wonder up his sleeve when he revealed this stunner to me yesterday morning - a custom sparkly black and gold sequin silk chiffon caftan with incorporated metal belt, shoulder pads, plunging neck and daring open sides, based on Michael's upcoming "DNA" collection!
He also created her matching custom ruched faux leather gloves and feather boa in collaboration with Mother Plucker Feather Company.
What's a good jazz stage look without a fun plummeted hat to top it off? British milliner Carrie Jenkinson Millinery made sure to exceed stagewear standards with her Spring/Summer 2024 Selina feather hat (£520).
Her go-to performance shoes: the timeless Jimmy Choo Anouk black patent leather pumps ($675).
Malaysian couture design house Rizman Ruzaini joined the game by crafting a show-stopping red chiffon cape dress showered in Swarovski crystals. Thanks so much for these exclusive behind-the-seams photos!
She also brought back her Jose & Maria Barrera vintage 1993 “Crystal Evening” runway crystal necklace.
Gaga gave us an epic performance of "La Vie En Rose", dressed in rose silk satin caftan-style layered dress with stripped coque feathers, custom-made for her by Ukrainian fashion label Santa Brands.
This look was completed with a bunch of stellar accessories, including the Carrie Jenkinson Millinery Spring/Summer 2024 Valencia exploding feather fascinator (£579)...
...the Swarovski Millenia octagon-cut crystal bib necklace...
... and the Cornelia James Melissa opera-length black velvet gloves (£160).
If the dress from the third night's opening seems familiar to you, it's because she's worn this custom Natali Germanotta x Debra Cooper blue sequin fringed cocktail number back in 2019 before!
This look got a black version of the aforementioned Arturo Rios turkey feather and Swarovski crystal headpiece.
It‘s Michael Costello‘s world and we‘re just living in it! His third custom dress for our girl's third night is this uuuuuultra sexy black satin number with one-shoulder caftan silhouette, trimmed with luxurious ostrich feathers by Mother Plucker Feather Company and featuring beaded appliqués on the shoulder and waist.
It was finished off with this vintage Philip Treacy 1996 black feather firework headpiece which has already been previously worn by Gaga back in London in 2015!
For the fourth show (June 29), LG brought out another Michael Costello x Mother Plucker Feather Company confection — a black-as-the-night satin caftan, showered in small jet crystals and trimmed with feathers.
It was only a matter of time before she brought out a fairytale headpiece by milliner Piers Atkinson.
From his archives, she opted for the Fall/Winter 2021 "Triptych" collection elevated black ostrich feather pompom fascinator with beaded tassels.

What's in a Name — Miraculous Ladybug
6. OTHER
6.1. SEASON 1
6.1.1. Prince Ali
Ali: "lofty, sublime" in Arabic.
6.1.2. Aza, Vincent
Aza: Breton form of "Adam", meaning "man". Is a first name, not a surname.
Vincent: from Latin "vincere", meaning "to conquer.
6.1.3. Barbot, Théo
Barbot: probably from French "barboter", which, among other meanings, is used coloquially to mean "to steal" (probably in reference to him stealing Cat Noir's identity). Originally, it was supposed to be Camiel, but this was changed later in development.
Théo: most likely a short form of Théodore, meaning "gift from God" in Greek.
6.1.4. Beauréal, Aurore
Beauréal: alternate spelling of French "boréal". Together with her first name, it's a pun on "aurore boréal", French for the aurora borealis.
Aurore: "aurora", in French.
6.1.5. Bustier, Caline
Bustier: French word for a tight-fitting strapless women's top.
Caline: from French "câliner", meaning "to cuddle".
6.1.6. Caquet, Mireille
Caquet: from French "caquet", meaning "cackle, chuckling".
Mireille: from the Occitan word "mirar", meaning "to admire".
6.1.7. Cataldi, Alec
Cataldi: from an Italian first name probably derived from the Irish name "Cathal", meaning "strong in battle".
Alec: English short form of Alexander.
6.1.8. Chamack, Nadja & Manon
Chamack: meaning unknown. Sounds identical to the surname of Moroccan footballer Marouane Chamakh, meaning Nadja and Manon are probably Moroccan.
Nadja: German and Slovene spelling of the Slavic name Nadia, meaning "hope". That, or an alternate spelling of the Arabic name Nadiyya, meaning "tender, moist, delicate", which I think is more probable.
Manon: French diminutive form of Marie.
6.1.9. D'Argencourt, Armand
D'Argencourt: most likely a reference to Agincourt, the site of a famous battle in the Hundred Years' War where England won a victory that crippled France. Might also probably be derived from the French phrase "à court d'argent", meaning "short of money".
Armand: French form of "Herman", a Germanic name meaning "army man".
6.1.10. Damocles, Denis
Damocles: "glory of the people", in Greek, it is most likely a reference to the legend of the sword of Damocles. I don't know what this legend has to do with his character, but it is what it is.
Denis: French form of "Dionysios", ultimately from the name of the Greek god Dionysus.
6.1.11. Fu, Wang
Fu: a Chinese surname which is ultimately derived from a word meaning "teacher, instructor".
Wang: "king", in Mandarin.
6.1.12. Grimault, Simon
Grimault: probably a French form of Italian and Spanish surname "Grimaldo", which is ultimately derived from two Germanic roots meaning "mask" and "rule". Badass.
Simon: from a Hebrew name meaning "hearing, listening". Is in reference to the game Simon Says.
6.1.13. Haprèle, Fred
Fred: short form of Frederic, a Germanic name meaning "peaceful ruler".
6.1.14. Kubdel, Jalil & Alim
Jalil: "great, exalted", in Arabic.
Alim: "learned, expert, scholar", in Arabic.
6.1.15. Mendeleiev, Olga
Mendeleiev: in reference to Russian chemist Dimitri Mendeleev, of periodic table fame.
Olga: Russian form of the Old Norse name Helga, meaning "holy, blessed". This was the name of one of Dimitri Mendeleev's daughters.
6.1.16. Placide I.T.
Placide I.T.: a pun on French "placidité", meaning "placidity".
6.1.17. Raincomprix, Roger
Roger: from a Germanic name meaning "famous spear". Together with his last name, it forms a pun: "Roger Raincomprix" sounds like "Roh j'ai rien compris.", which translates to something like "Er, I didn't understand anything."
6.1.18. Sancoeur, Nathalie
Sancoeur: from "sans coeur", French for "heartless".
Nathalie: from the Late Latin word for Christmas, "Natalia".
6.1.19. Ramier, Xavier
Ramier: from the French word for the wood pigeon (Columba palumbus).
Xavier: ultimately from a Basque place name meaning "new house".
6.1.20. Roth, Bob & Xavier-Yves

hi there. im about to start college and i want to change my closet so i can feel more confident in my body and feel like the woman i want to be
im short (5'2), have an hourglass-shaped body with thick thighs, a big chest and a short torso, so finding clothes that look good on me is hard. what kind of clothes do you recommend to have that femme fatale style? thank you <3
Hi love! Applauding your mindset and the effort you're taking to step into your own as you enter this exciting new chapter of your life.
I would say that tailoring will be your best friend – think structured v-neck/square-neck top (knit polos), button-down shirts, tailored vests, blazers, high-waisted bootcut/flared trousers, A-line skirts/dresses/shorts are all great options.
I recommend the Gap '70s Flare pants/jeans, square-neck/deep scoop-neck tanks & tees, v-neck/polo-style tops, hoodies, & sweaters, casual button-downs (options that hit below your hipline/cover your hips), a longline (vegan) leather blazer (hits below your hips), knit flared pants (they pair well with a v-neck sweater for loungewear, lunch, or going to class) a simple trench coat, pointed or square-toed shoes (consider a short block heel) that matches your pants and has a shaft that doesn't leave an awkward gap of skin between the top of your shoe and hem of your pants.
Some other options include layering a thin deep scoop neck tee under a strapless bustier top with some bootcut or flared jeans/pointed-toe flats or boots, a squareneck/button-up bodice and wide-leg trouser jumpsuit, or a fit & flare style dress with a square-neck or sweetheart neckline.
I would look at COS, Banana Republic, Everlane, Reformation, Madewell, Alo Yoga ($$$ though), The Frankie Shop, DISSH, and Norma Kamali for options under $200.
Hope this helps xx

I suppose any dress u wanna wear out on a summer day you COULD label as a sundress but let’s not try and say the mini dress with the semi bustier top ISNT a sundress and that what the term actually means is like floor length body con strapless 2016 fashion nova looking dress is what it is. Come on now
#the girls on TikTok are arguing over the definition#I’m sorry to me floor length body con is not a sundress…#we often talk about ‘getting railed in a sundress season’ so let’s think logistically about this#it’s NOT happening in the floor length bodycon not easily anyway

As a 2010s Tumblr historian, what would you say the essential ingredients of that early 2010s that kinda bled into 2014 but was mostly 2012-2013 hipster-adjacent aesthetic that those tie dyed and crazy patterned short shorts were a part of are? I lived through that era (I’m turning 28 so I was in high school) but my exposure was limited because I was on the anime RP side of Tumblr lmao and I am feeling nostalgic.
Okay if we're thinking about the same thing, that aesthetic was my FAVORITE of the early 2010s. Maybe the 2010s as a whole tbh. So like if we're thinking of the same thing, some of ingredients to that soup were Jeffrey Campbell spiked Lita's, Lana Del Rey, those crispy grunge filters with the vignettes and bokehs, galaxy print, pastel hair, neon studded shorts, tie-dye, tights+shorts, studded everything, strapless bustier tops, drippy fonts, flower crowns, paint drip leggings, those Alice in Wonderland LSD edits, The xx, crosses, and Dr Martens
It wasn't quite hipster, grunge, kawaii, pastel goth, or festival but it took elements of all of those and made it's own mildly alternative (depending on the blog) thing. Now that I'm analyzing it, I think it was the older sibling to 2014 Tumblr grunge, maybe the transition from hipster to grunge.
I've hunted and hunted but I cannot find a name for it. The tags people typically used to describe it back then were hipster and indie, neither being great names for it in the present, so I sat and thought of a name. I think I'm gonna go with either Wonderpunk (my favorite) or Wonderland Hipster
Reasons: Alice in Wonderland edits and references were popular and the aesthetics suit the name in my opinion / Punk used as a prefix cause people did that in the early to mid 2010s (ex: Sea Punk) and the style having nothing to do with original punk makes it similar to how 2010s grunge really had little to do with original grunge / Hipster - self explanatory
#yeah i like Wonderpunk#I'm gonna make a tag for it#asks#also I won't lie#I wasn't on tumblr around this point cause I didn't have wifi in my home until I was 17 and all I had was cellphone data#tumblr would suck up all of my 2 gbs in a couple of days#pinterest was my beloved though and Pinterest is. and always has been. the thieving little sister to Tumblr#so i basically saw all of this

Ashley Roberts shares a very cheeky pic as she bares a boob #AshleyRoberts
Braless Ashley Roberts shared a very playful photo on Instagram on Thursday, in which she bared her boobs. The former Pussycat Doll singer, 41, posed alongside her Heart FM co-host Amanda Holden, 52, for a series of snaps. She wore an Yves Saint Laurent combo consisting of a lemon colored cropped shirt and a matching mini skirt meant to look like boxer shorts. In one picture, her shirt had ridden up exposing her cleavage, but she playfully posted it anyway, superimposing a graphic to hide her modesty. Amanda also looked incredible on the day wearing a strapless black bustier jumpsuit that accentuated her waist.
