The word 'seduce' was always so jarring in the original Star Wars trilogy. My siblings and I used to laugh our heads off imagining Palpatine slowly raising his black robes to expose his pale boney ankle Victorian Lady-styles and this being what convinces Vader to join him.

The Acolyte doesn't ever use the word 'seduce'. Osha says, "That's the path to the dark side". It's Star Wars canon now that they had to start describing it as 'seduced to the dark side' because of Osha and Qimir

I LOVE the fact that Osha and Qimir have haunted the narrative for THOUSANDS of years, causing the Jedi in 9+ movies/shows to be like « Careful, a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away a bad guy got the girl by tilting his head and speaking softly and making her soup and telling her it was okay to have feelings. He even went swimming...(lowers voice to a whisper) naked. Be afraid, be very afraid. Try to resist »

I talked about the Lantern list (a ranking of people who to this day refuse lantern offers) and having Billy Batson be number 1, and have Captain Marvel be number 2.

This would naturally attract the attention of Lantern Cores everywhere (like what do you mean they received offers from multiple lanterns multiple times), the space community (why does the Terra City of Fawcette have dominating spots) as well as the JL (Cap, why are you outclassed by a civilian from your own city).

I also fully believe Lois Lane is on the same boat as Billy Batson when it comes to Lantern offers. One does not jump off buildings or sneak into war zones without a great deal of will power and induce a great deal of fear. Lois Lane is definitely in the top 10.

Coincidentally, in the top 50, you will find Cat Grant, Vic Sage and surprisingly Vicki Vale (if she can make BATMAN shudder and be wary of her, she can make anyone fear her).

So it’s been accepted that journalists have a lot of will power, a lot of rage and can put the fear of god into you. Clark is not bitter that he’s not on the list, no sire. Never mind that Jimmy Olsen is in the Top 100.

Batman might want to study this phenomenon.

But anyways. One does not stay at the top without ridiculous numbers. As the only top 10 ers on earth, they have grown used to random rings trying to get them on space politics quests or whatnot.

So now imagine this: Lois Lane and Billy collab on a project. While they are speaking, random rings start to show up. Instinctively, both swat them away like flies while maintaining eye contact. They don’t realise what they are doing. Clark is having an aneurism.

At some point, they both realise that the other is swatting the rings away with the same nonchalance as the other. They immediately understand what’s up. The shit eating grin they both had made a bunch of yellow rings swarm around them.

Billy gets asked on why he doesn’t want to join the Green lanterns? Billy says it’s because he hates cops. Lois nods.

Hal cries himself to sleep that night.

Bonus:

Batman stalking a civilian named Batson who for some reason is number one in the Lanterns List, with an alarming amount of yellows.

Batman finds a black hair, blue eyes, orphan child.

Batman: Alfred call the guy

Bonus 2:

Nightwing, trying to meet his future maybe brother: Hi 👋

Billy, sees an authority figure in Blue that wields batons and electricity: …

Steve and Eddie were just casually lounging in the living room, a random video on YouTube playing- one that Eddie picked.

Then, all the sudden Chad Chad was interrupted for a movie trailer. Steve was about to skip it without looking up when Eddie gasped loudly, shooting up and dropping his book without marking the page, something he'd definitely regret when the trailer is over.

"STEVE, HOLY SHIT, IT'S GARFIELD!" Eddie shouts. Their mangy little orange cat comes trotting in at that, Eddie wanted a black cat but freaked in a similar way when he saw this sickly little thing that needs expensive food and medicine.

"Not you, trash cat" Steve says, picking the little thing up as Eddie practically starts crying at the cute little animated kitten on the screen, falling to his knees and crawling towards the TV.

"OH MY GOD, STEVE, HOLY SHIT. HOLY FUCKING SHIT" He yells, not even looking at Steve as he places his hands over their little cat son's ears so he won't hear Eddie's cursing. Eddie's holding onto the edge of the TV stand in a white knuckled grip, but his dramatic sobbing ceases the moment the Garfield on screen speaks.

"Is that fucking Chris Pratt?" Eddie says, slowly picking up his head and looking on in horror. And as if on cue, Chris Pratt's name flashes on screen. Eddie just stands up, throwing his arms in the air.

"Nope. No, no, nope. Ruined." He says as he flops back onto the couch next to Steve, face down into the cushions. Eddie literally has a Garfield tattoo on his ass, this is devastating for his favorite cartoon cat to be voiced by... Chris Pratt. Eddie looks up at the Garfield in Steve's lap, scratching the top of the scrimbly little cat's head.

"You're not voiced by Chris Pratt, are you, sweet boy?" He asks the mangy thing.
