It’s really the only problem I have with this fandom ?!? But it’s just something so BIG to ignore ?!? I started to even dislike Max a bit because all I see of her is her and Anne and I’m like WHERE IS JACK, WHERE IS THE REST OF MAX’S AMAZING CHARACTER. I love having wlw relationship but fuck this bi-erasure and jack-erasure. I really can’t tell if it’s a matter of a)people liking wlw relationship better b)people ignoring bisexuality c)people just ignoring Jack as character. Probably all of it?

And I had a very very long conversation with @strangepairs about Miranda&Flint and Jack&Anne and the poly relationship with Thomas and Max. And how, generally, even if people don’t care too much about the “affair” between James and Miranda, they at least KNOW it was real and that it was real for 10 years, while with Jack and Anne...they ignore Jack and they act like Anne and Jack divorced (I swear, if someone else say how the ‘I can’t be your wife, Jack’ is a divorce statement I’m going mad) and their relationship was meaningless and only Max and Anne hold value

But yeah, both Flint&Miranda and Jack&Anne are generally ignored. (This is not the place to go into details about how both are very different and why I think Flint&Miranda are more easily ignored romantically)

It just pisses me off SO MUCH. Let Anne love Jack. Let Anne and Jack be together against the world as they always have been. Don’t take that away from me just because they are a man and a woman.

Also, Max herself knows Anne loves Jack ?!? Jack knows Anne loves Max ?!? That’s the whole point of the relationship ?!? Jack and Max both love Anne and they know Anne loves both and so it’s FINE ?

Do you think that Thomas thought James was dead?

Good question Anon.I have been thinking about Thomas and his 10 years of loneliness since 4x04 (ask @strangepairs )I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Thomas didn’t think James was dead. (Actually, it’s even safer to say Thomas thought James and Miranda thought him dead)Thomas’ reaction is the most beautiful thing that killed me is the reaction of a happy man. On the other hand, James’ face? His the face of a man that suffered 10 years, that had sorrow and grief for company. 

I mean, while James is crying 10 years of suffering, Thomas looks like a blessed man 

(sorry, but I love that cap, okay? I just...love it so much.)

I like to think Thomas was just waiting for James and Miranda to find out what the fuck Alfred Hamilton did. I think Thomas knew that they would find him one day (and he is not wrong. James’ first instict is to act, it’s only Miranda that stops him).Sure, some days he must have thought they....just left him. Forgot about him. 10 years are a lot of time, after all. (And I mean, it’s not like James and Miranda had an affair of their own....)

Really, nothing in Thomas’ reaction speaks of the same deep grief that we see on James’ face. Thomas is surprised -who wouldn’t ?!?- but ultimately is happy.

Thomas was just waiting.And the wait is over, because James found him, and still loves him as much as Thomas still loves him.
