Day 98/100 #the100dayproject Yesterday was rough, but I pulled myself together and just sat and read my big stack of picture books from the library. I studied them - I looked at the illustrations, the alliterations, the emotions, the story shapes, the word count, the white space, all the onomatopoeia, and everything in between. I made notes and I sketched and finally late last night, there was a spark. New ideas began to form. First as words, then pictures in my head and now #sketches in my #sketchbook. I’m gonna take a lunch break and then start mapping it out so I can start typing a manuscript and building a dummy.
