I always love seeing how stories write themselves sometimes because how do you go from a fun little heist with queer teens in love all the way to "In the end, he was not Nina or Matthias or Kaz or Inej or Jesper. He was just Wylan Van Eck. He told them everything."

I've been losing my mind over the idea of a Deku vs. Kacchan 3 or Deku and Kacchan-titled chapter since the last chapter and what could entail and I mean-

We have Izuku emotionally shutting down struggling with everything regarding not being able to truly save Tenko and slowly losing OFA vs. Katsuki being more emotional for Izuku than we're used to and not being able to use his own Quirk for now,

And we might get people walking on eggshells around Izuku because no one will say straight to his face the truth he didn't fucking win to save and Katsuki being desperate because he wanted Izuku by his side because he realized he wants Izuku by his side in anyway but doesn't even know how in a way outside of their rivalry or anything outside of All Might because he made their relationship like that and will never forgive himself for it,

And they'd accidentally put themselves closer to square one again because Katsuki is devastated their dreams are not coming true and doesn't wanna hurt Izuku but takes it too far and Izuku will not open up about how angry or mournful he is unless Katsuki forces him but being on the other side of the coin now he might think Katsuki sees him as weak again AND THEY NEED THAT BREAKDOWN IZUKU NEEDS TO OPEN UP BECAUSE KATSUKI IS THE ONE WHO CAN GET INSIDE IZUKU'S HEAD AND KATSUKI NEEDS TO KNOW IZUKU DOESN'T WANNA LEAVE HIM BUT THEY NEED TO KNOW WHAT ARE THEY OUTSIDE OF BEING RIVALS SO QUIRKLESS SPARRING IT IS-

And then I realized we get leaks in two days- Chapter 424 feels like it dropped yesterday, and it's necessary to address Todofam, Spinner and Himichako first because if we don't get the responses from the League let alone confirmation all of them survived or even slight Ochako and Shoto's thoughts on their fights, then we don't get to discern where Izuku and/or Katsuki might go from here and that's not even touching on anything regarding Tenko or OFA, or how UA is gonna deal with trying to readjust into a society that'll never be the same, they'll never be the same, I am Not Okay-

Morro had his childhood ripped away from him because his desperation to be someone important, someone strong, someone people desired in their lives drove him to the worst actions and his eventual (1st) death. We don't know if he ever knew his family, all we know is that he was homeless until Wu took him in to train.

Lloyd had his childhood ripped away from him because his destiny was to be the person Morro wanted to be without getting a say in the matter and having to just go along with it, whether he liked it or not. He was left at a school when he was a child and couldn't remember his mother while his father was banished in another realm for being the worst man alive, the very person he was destined to defeat in battle, and he got eventually kicked out of said school until Wu, his uncle, took him in and trained him upon discovering his destiny.

... Now, the next kid in line seems to be Arin. He's young, lost his parents to the Merge and wants to be like his great heroes. But.. there are doubts in him about his own skills, maybe even if he deserves to have them take him (and Sora) in as well as their training. He seems to be headed to a path where he eventually needs to choose if he wants to stay with the ninja and his friends, his new family- or if he'll break from his doubts and leave them, potentially going to join the villains in their fight against the ninja.

What do we learn from this? Do not let underage kids be ninja or their life will be hell.👍

I really hope the rest of the F5 have that vibe that Drix's powers have as an evil/plague that can affect the general population. Especially considering that the theme of the next season is "storm", and with Jay joining them, it makes me think of its more catastrophe-related elements.

something i really loved about the rising storm is how cavan scott frames the relationship of the firebrands. this book, of course, focuses primarily on elzar and stellan, and aside from avar's brief holoprojection appearance at the beginning, she’s only mentioned.

but she appears so often in the thoughts of elzar and stellan, that you get the sense that she is with them, always. and at the same time, there's also this distinct absence. this missing piece of the firebrands. and you really get the feeling that the three of them are stronger together, and when even one of them is gone, you can feel the missing presence of that person. they're all fully capable jedi, but elzar and stellan keep thinking of avar, of what it would be like if she was with them. and while we can't see her pov in this book, i imagine she would be feeling the same.

Honestly love this set, the only part i dislike from what we see here are those storm pieces at the back. They‘re really cool on their own and fit great into the other sets they‘re in but here they just… don‘t… their shape doesn‘t fit with the rest, literally no part of their colours fits with the rest, not even their placement really seems to fit with the rest. Kind of hoping they‘re like those energy pieces on some of the elemental mechs and not actually part of the jet in the show, only a visual representation of its visual effects

I'm past the stage of shipping Alina with Nikolai but can we talk about that scene in Ruin and Rising when Nikolai still offered Alina to be his queen knowing she already lost her powers. I think that's so pure and I love Nikolai more for that. I love how their relationship developed throughout the series.
