Did you know in Israel - the government pays for your IVF? And in Russia (Uhh... maybe not currently), if you have a kid on Russia National day, the government gives you cars, fridge and things like that? And of course let's not forget money. Compared to raising a child I'd say it's chump change but hey. People just LOVE getting in your business about children. It starts with "When will you have a boyfriend?" "When are you getting married?" "When are you going to have kids?" then... "When are you going to have another one?" Sure - it's harmless - but when multiple people needle you like this - it's quite a pressure. Totally understand some people say this out of good will. But hey - if you're not going to actually come and babysit (at any time, any day) and pay for the kid's upbringing - let's not. Childless people can be just as fulfilled, 'whole' and know love just as fulfilling. I think it's only after being a mum I realized - oh wow - there's a lot of pressure on women to have kids! Since I was open to having kids, I felt like I was being validated whenever someone asked me this. Like I was making the right decision. Only now that I'm not in the thick of it, I can see how pressuring this could be. A lot of my friends are child-free and I hear these kind of things directed at them. What if you can't have kids? Then these pressure are just outright terrible.

When I shop in stores, I stick to lane bryant, torrid, and the men's department. If your indie brand is using cm, I probably cannot fit it. If you are using Asian fitting charts, I probably cannot fit it. Doing a collab would be fabulous! Either me helping you design a plus sized line or modeling a line that's actually "extended sizing."
