Decided to join in on the whole gamified Stone thing cause omg it's one of my fav things I love every single fanart I see of him!!!

This movie and Lee Majdoubs performance is genuinely the best inspiration ever and the most fun I have had making art in years!!

I couldn't decide on one design so I made a normal version and an emo Stone lol

Okay but let’s all imagine a world where Stone doesn’t turn evil. He takes his boss’s last request to heart. He saved the entire goddamn world, filled with wretched troglodytes and idiots with big mouths, for him. For Stone, and Stone alone. He’s finally acknowledged as special.

And yes, it’s going to be hard and it’s going to be hell and Stone isn’t going to want to get out of bed for a while and some days he just wishes Robotnik had just allowed the world to implode. It is so goddamn hard to stay good when the world isn’t good and the world isn’t fair and the world never fucking leaves him alone.

But he’s going to get better. He’s going to wake up one day with the lump in his throat eased up, even just a little bit. The heaviness on his chest is getting lighter, even if it’s a single pound lifted from 100 pounds. It’s better than nothing. Being better is better than being nothing.

And one day, Stone receives a call. His old professor. They think he might be a good instructor at Harvard or Yale or whatever insane alma mater he came from.

He gives it a shot. All those young minds. Not quite as smart as the Robotnik, but who is? Who can ever be? They will do. This is the world his Doctor died for.

And Stone will do his damned best to make sure his sacrifice wasn’t for nothing.

Maybe this is how Robotnik conquers the world. Through the warmth and wisdom of his Agent Stone.

The thing about the latte with steamed Austrian goat milk joke is that, it's most likely a callback joke before its emotional climax. In the second movie, they brought it up because the joke was funny in the first. In the third, it has another layer to the meaning: "I love you."

Is it coincidental though? That the joke stayed throughout? Isn't it like the one of the few, if not the only, compliment and desire Robotnik shows towards Stone, is that he likes how he makes his lattes?

So of course the code for the lair in the second movie is "latte with steamed Austrian goat milk," because that's what Stone holds onto. The thing that Robotnik desires from him.

But it's probably just a callback joke in the second movie.

I like the fingers-in-his-mouth scene as it is, but, during yet another re-watch, I thought about how that could've resulted in Stone accidentally 'pressing' the glove's buttons and now I wanna see how that'd play out. Oh, the possibilities
