I JUST FINISHED THE FINAL CHAPTER! The ending is DFGFTRFDFV but I'm set to edit it tonight. Expect to come out either today, tomorrow, or the day after because it's midnight and im tired lol. I might release it on sunday, you know why? Because I released the first chapter on a sunday.

It has been a LONG. Ride. A 3 MONTH ENDEAVOUR?? Damn! I didn't think it'd ever be this big. With 1000 comments (i digress, i think like half of those are my own), 20,000 hits, and i think 800 kudos, THIS IS A PRETTY FUCKING BIG FIC. Like, this fic is so big, it's actually sort of insane. IT MADE IT ONTO TWITTER HELLO??? SOMEONE MENTIONED IT ON TWITTER??? BY THEMSELVES??? WITHOUT MY PRODDING FOR ADVERTISEMENT???

Originally I wrote the first chapter thinking it to be some normal shitty 25k fic that I could wrap up, but NO? ITS NOW OVER 100K WORDS??? AND YOU GUYS LIKE IT??? A LOT??? It's honestly so flattering. Like, I can tell you, if I went back to quarantine to my 2020 self and told her that I would produce something so big 2020 me would call me insane and continue writing MCYT FANFICTION.

Thank you all so much :) You have no idea what it means for me, to be finally able to share my stories and images with a crowd who will listen. I don't often get a lot of people to talk with about my work because they either pry too much or don't care at all. I've no doubt that in due time, if I hadn't made this ao3 account, I would have stopped writing, simply from the lack of motivation.

Afterall, to tell a story is to entertain, and if there is no crowd, whom is there to entertain?

I know it's kinda stupid to be dumping all this on a post that is a mere update on a chapter, but now that we're reaching the end, I really wanted to talk about it.

Also I wanted to mention that I drafted the ENTIRE story on a saturday at like 3am, fueled by determination and a dare coffee so shoutout to dare. All those action moments, character developments, those moments you all adored? ALL MADE BY MY 3AM SLEEP DEPRIVED BRAIN. You can thank me in 3 hours when it's 3am but i think i'll be asleep maybe idk

You have unlimited budget, an hour in the grocery store, your whole day cleared, and any fictional character of your choosing as your kitchen assistant. What meal are you making and who is sharing it with you?

Ooh okay so this is gonna be a five course meal and I'm going to recruit Jason Todd (red hood) because he's the best fictional chef out of my blorbos.

Okay so to start, this five course meal is by absolutely no means balanced. Much to Jason's dismay I'm not going for balanced here nor will you be able to find every last ingredient in one grocery store but I'm looking past that last part. But there will be a lot of European foods because that's what I know. The drinks are mostly suggestions or what I would have with these but you could have whatever you like.

First course: Mediterranean Bruschetta Appetizer with a glass of white wine or water

Then, second course: sticking to the veggie theme, we will be making a ratatoullie, with white wine, blueberry lemonade or a manhattan

For our first main dish: grilled chicken breast seasoned with garlic and melted cheese (any kind, you choose) and a side of grilled asparagus drizzled in olive oil with a sparkling water or drink of your choice

This next one is favourite of mine. I grew up on this food so it's one of my comfort dishes (when I have the energy to make it)

Our second main dish: kotlet schabowy

And finally for dessert, we are heading to one of my favourite countries as far as desserts go, Italy.

Final course: Tiramisu

Now, obviously we would wake up at the very beginning of the day (5 a.m.) so we could make it to the grocery store before the morning rush and get what we need.

Who would I share it with? Well, Jason is invited obviously. He did most of the work afterall. I would also ask @callalilycas to come and bring one guest with them, whoever they like.

Eeeh 😅 maybe. I mean I definitely mostly focus on the boys. I've tried writing them with other people before and it comes out a little flat I think because I don't know the other characters as deeply but if I ever get off this verse I might! I don't want to dash anyone's hopes so I'll keep it in mind. Thank you for asking though 🖤

i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.

A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.
