Sometimes I see people hating on other sun and moon hcs because they stray a bit far from Canon but I honestly don't really care about that like yeah, go guy or gal, maybe moon WOULD call you his starlight or whatever the fuck. It's not like it's really hurting anyone, although it's mischaracterizing. Just do what you like to do and what ultimately makes you happy.

I personally like to lean more towards the canon personalities. That's awesome too! But I really don't see the big problem with the moons with the more edgy personalities and the suns with the more innocent ones. Write your own stories, selfship, oc ship, ship sun and moon together!! (They aren't even canonically related anyway) Or, don't if you want! See them as enemies or brothers or friends. Just be happy and if you don't like something then leave it alone. Don't interact. Don't make vague posts making fun of it. Just leave it and create your own version that satisfies you.

As long as it's not problematic, like glorifying pedophilia, racism, and noncon. Then you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Not to say nothing is weird because yeah, some things are totally weird. But like just don't interact with it. If it's problematic, report it, but if it's weird, just leave them alone and let them find a group of people that DO like their stuff.
