the funniest bit in one piece that's not even funny on purpose is when oda goes out of his way to emphasize over and over again that a woman who is about to appear is without a doubt the most beautiful woman in the world without equal and then they show her and she looks exactly like every other one piece woman

funniest way i got spoiled one piece is because, don't ask me why, i thought joy boy was a word for smth like boy escorts/boy strippers/male sex workers (but twinks).

at first i thought everyone was just calling luffy a twink whore (didn't question it at all, have you seen him?). after some time i still decided to look it up before adding it to my english vocabulary.

The strawhats were highkey struggling so much before the timeskip I really didn't expect Zoro to just decimate the main villain in one hit on Fishman Island. Good things can happen to the characters I like this is revolutionary.
