Yo, what if, at the height of the war on Cybertron, a common method for treating a fuck-huge patient was to have medics scale them while they moved around/retreated?

Just think about that for a moment. Field surgery is badass enough. Think about the sheer chaos it would be for your favorite med to spot a big bot trying to retreat from the enemy and climb them like a squirrel, dodging enemy fire and doing their best not to be in the way of their patient as they swapped parts.

Yeah sure, they could wait for them to rest somewhere and work on them that way. It would be the safest and sanest for medics especially, and that is what they would do... in an ideal scenario. But war isn't ideal and big bots are an easy, indiscreet target and easily found. Retreat is difficult.

Most often, once they get messed up, they are insanely vulnerable and they have to stay on the move or they just get hassled until some fragger gets a lucky shot. But- most importantly, chances are, if that bot is out, the situation is ass. He is going to be the one guy who is keeping the rest of your team from getting fucked.

So, do you just throw your hands up in the air when all your guardian needs is a quick part swap to actually be effective at keep your team alive? No! And yes, it is insanely dangerous- in fact, your chance of survival plummets to the single digits, but who is to say that you cannot slip under armor when things get too hot? Or that your big bot won't try to aid you by dodging every which way? And there is always the option of launching away if it is too much, if only just so that you have a chance to aid them later.

I bought this little notebook pc as a replacement for my laptop since gaming pc isn't exactly made for taking to other rooms when I need quiet.
