HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY THSC!!!

It may seem like I'm new to this fandom, but I'm not. I got super into thsc about 4 years ago (which is when it released), and kinda had fun with it. Unfortunately, I don't have the history that some people have with this game, and that does make me kinda sad, but I'm glad to be here anyway!

I hope that I continue to fixate on this fandom for weeks in the future. I'm just having that much fun!

4 years is crazy. I can hold that on one hand, man.

I do have some extra stuff to share as well. For example, my oc's trying to celebrate the anniversary.

Sometimes, I like to put on a playlist and quickly sketch out something to go with the music before it switches to the next song. The playlist I decided to listen to were AJR songs :3 (Big fan of AJR right here)

I was planning to make a bunch of little animations and compile them into a compilation to release all at once, but I'm tired. (I hit a bit of a mental low yesterday)

Those two are the Miller twins when they were kids. You can probably figure out who is who lol

I also ended up doodling a little this morning. I will forever believe RHM has long hair. I did draw Reginald, too, but I didn't like how he looked. (I hope to draw Copperright in the future again)

I made the mistake of staying up until like 4 am (And I have a ton of stuff to do today-)

It was so worth it, though

Anyway, to cut things short, I was tired and turned to the stick figure style. I also seemed to be in a mood because there's plenty of oc angst in there.

My oc is the guy who's pissed scared. That's Carter.

I also don't know if this is in character for the hat, really. But it's for silly, ha has. (It's like 3 a.m. please help me).

I'M SO MOTIVATED TODAY!

This is my other Toppat oc, Carter. (This might also get wordy lol)

Carter is a bit of a lovable dumbass in the way that I can best describe as a comical relief. He's pretty laid back and doesn't like when things get too serious. He's decent at his hiest jobs, but he's no professional. This is because he's a bit clumsy, which is also why he doesn't get put on important missions as much.

Carter was raised with his twin brother, Carson. (I'll get into him later)

At a young age, he always felt out of place. He was a troublemaker and was constantly getting himself disciplined by the people around him. It was also obvious that his parents favored his brother over him. Oh, the pain of being compared to your sibling, especially as twins.

I guess after so many years of trying to be a good person and live up to his brother, he got tired of trying. (He definitely had an emo phase as a teen, lmao). He occasionally would steal small things and pick fights with other people. (Whether or not he won the fights is debatable...)

Eventually him and his brother had a huge argument and fell apart. He lost contact with his twin and parents and had no one to turn to.

That is until a certain Clan shows up :3

Now I don't know how I want Carter to join the clan, and I have a few ideas with him assisting the clan or asking to join, I'm not sure. Either way, he does join eventually and becomes a part of their silly crime family.

What are his relationships with other Toppat members?

I'll tell ya! (This part is longer than Devin's because I don't get into Carter's role in ItA. You're not missing much anyway. He plays a bigger role in CtM)

Devin:

These two are pretty much best friends, and they're super chaotic when they work together. Their combined brain cells cancel each other out, which makes them kinda stupid to be around. When Carter is in trouble, Devin is usually right there with a stupid idea to get him out of it. They usually go on minor heists together.

CatHat (my friend's oc):

Carter manages to piss CatHat off so bad that simply being around him irritates him. They don't interact much, but since they're both friends with Devin, they gotta tolerate each other.

Reginald:

They don't talk much (obviously). But Carter does respect him and does his best not to mess up around him. They have bonded over sharing a similar style but not much else.

Right Hand Man:

They almost NEVER talk. Which makes sense since Right keeps to himself, and Carter is very intimidated by just the thought of the guy.

Carson Miller:

Carter's twin brother that he lost contact with a long time ago. He misses him sometimes, but he doesn't have time to dwell on it. They used to be super close when they were little.

No, he didn't kill anybody!

I wanna say that Carter was the one who saved Devin during the GSPI ending. (Devin loses his arm in the airship crash that happens during the arrests).

And y'know you bleed a lot when you lose a limb. Or I would think so. I have all four of my limbs so-

(More rambles and doodles are below. I cut it so it's not so big).

This isn't his design for when Devin becomes the leader (after GSPI), but I was kind of in a mood when drawing the other day.

He gets overwhelmed with all his responsibilities as a leader now, and since he doesn't have a right hand, he's basically doing the job of two people. He's overworked and stressed, and all he wants to do is break Reginald and RHM out of prison.

He eventually will crash and break down at some point, but he has a whole lot of support. He just needs to let them in to help.

OKAY LET'S GET INTO THE MORE LIGHTHEARTED SILLY STUFF

Devin has a horrible time sleeping! He commonly has nightmares, and they get worse the more stressed he is.

After a nightmare, his favorite thing to do is go talk to someone to lighten his mood. This is usually Burt, but sometimes it can be Reginald or Right, depending if they are awake.

LITTLE KID DEVIN!

Fun fact! Devin was super shy when he was little. He also was incredibly clingy with Reginald after his parents passed. He would pretty much follow him around everywhere. (Both Reginald and Right helped him gain more confidence and break out of his shell. But at what cost? XD)

Finally, we have the twins when they were little.

They were rambunctious little things and would usually come home covered in dirt.

They lived near a forest so they'd usually play together in there.
