The antis were right about one thing, credit where credit is due: JJ hated TLJ and wanted to retcon as much of it as possible to "course-correct." Too bad it sucked and backfired and antis still didn't get what they wanted.

TROS is everything they thought they wanted, granted to them by a monkey’s paw.

THE TRIO IS A THING! Nobody likes it and it’s consistently cited as one of the weakest parts of the film.

REY STABS KYLO! She’s horrified, immediately heals him (to the point where the novelization says she would give everything she had to bring him back), confesses her feelings, and feels so guilty that she exiles herself over it.

ROSE IS BARELY THERE! The film took major criticism for it and Finn STILL doesn’t hook up with Poe or Rey.

REY SKYWALKER! She’s still not one by blood, not Luke’s daughter, and in fact the entire Skywalker bloodline is extinct by the end while Palpatine’s endures.

FINN IS FORCE SENSITIVE! He contributes literally nothing to the plot and is reduced to a meme of yelling Rey’s name while she runs after Kylo.

KYLO DIES! He’s redeemed first, shares a long mutual kiss with Rey, and his death is left ambiguous enough that he could still come back in some form. They got this one, but they had to sit through Bendemption and canon Reylo to get there.

And on. And on.

Talk about a Pyrrhic victory.

So many contributions to the Reylo Kiss Challenge 💓. Unfortunately I don't have any dolls or artistic/literary skills to add something from myself but I love all the effort and creativity of other Reylos <3.

Can we begin a Reylo Kiss challenge? I just thought about this today. It can be cosplay, with dolls, video, draw, illustration any other form you can think of. Make yours fun, unique and beautiful. We can began to spread the word and this will help to let D/LF see how much we miss and cherished Rey and Ben love. To bring Ben back and have the end he deserved with Rey.
