Do you have your on interpretation on the Chaotix backstory like before they met and how they became detectives?

okay soooo short answer: not really!! i have a bunch of ideas for their individual upbringings and how they found each other, but i don’t have anything concrete yet for my own personal headcanons :3

for vector, i like to think maybe he was perusing music! DJing was his main way of making money because it is a LOT harder to do detective work without a group.

for espio, i really like the idea of him coming from a ninja group, like the shinobi clan from the archie comics. in this way, he viewed his family as more of a hierarchy. less of people to care for you, and more of people to respect. i imagine his parents felt more like teachers at times, so finding a true familial bond in the chaotix was. WEIRD for him. in a good way!

as for charmy?? oh boy 😭😭 i like the idea that he might be a runaway prince like in archie, but i also enjoy the idea of him just being another raggedy kid out on the street that espio & vector scooped up into their little detective gang. i think charmy doesn’t remember a lot before the chaotix, so he views espio & vector as his kinda-dad-kinda-brothers.

Shadow's romantics headcanons

Okay- It's been YEARS I didn't wrote headcanons so I may be rusty, but I missed this (my first ones were about MHA and Arcane) and since I'm obssessed with Sonic again (especially Shadow) well he won't escape (っ◔◡◔)っ Also my english is very shitty, I sometimes need to use Reverso to correct everything, so I know It's not perfect 🙏

❤️ First, his feelings towards you will develop veeeeeery slowly. he's not used to those feelings, so he probably won't know what they are first, claiming he just appreciate you, and that's it.

🖤 Once he realized it is love, he will be very confused and a little distant first. He wanted to be sure it was love and nothing else. Deep inside, he didn’t know that he could feel this way about someone, so he is completly lost.

❤️ Be prepared that he will be the one who confesses first, to be sure to get rid of these feelings (but it won't go away silly). He would go straight to the point, honest as possible. He won’t even wait for your answer as he will already be gone.

🖤 Once you accept each other’s feelings, Shadow will need time to adapt.

❤️ He's not a fan of PDA. But on the other hand, he can accept to hold your hand in public (EEH ON THE OTHER HAND- HAND- JOKES HAHA sorry) , to be sure you won't go anymore without him.

🖤 Speaking of which, be sure he’s ALWAYS gonna be somewhere watching you, to assure your security. Even If you tell him it's kinda creepy, he don't care. He is your personal boyguard, your safety is his prority. He will not allow someone he loves to be in danger or even dying before his eyes once again.

❤️ His love language is probably act of services. Go outside for even a few minutes, like to buy some bread or something, and all your hard work you planned for the day will be done.

Dishes? Done. Laundry? Already laid out. Your meal? Ready to be eaten. Your bed? Changed and ready for the night, there’s probably your pajamas on it. Cleaning your house ? Done. Taking out the trash ? Done. Like... everything was already done in a quicky second.

🖤 He is not a gift giver. He only buys what he thinks is useful. But for special occasions, like your birthday, your anniversary or even Valentine’s Day, he will make efforts to give you a gift that will make you happy.

❤️ Shadow is someone who observes a lot and notices every detail of your behavior. If you are feeling down and sad, he will be here to listen to you. If you spot something in a store that you liked but couldn’t buy it, he will note it in the corner of his head to give it to you later. You don't need to say anything to Shadow, he probably already know what's going on.

🖤 He still has a hard time with the physical contact, so he will be very tense at each hugs at first. But as the time passes, he will get used to it and even embraces you back gently.

❤️ For the kisses, Shadow is very careful, delicate and gentle. Each of his kisses is like a feather laying on your lips. If he’s in the mood to tease you, he’d bite your lips with one of his canines.

🖤 Shadow also has his moments when he feels more vulnerable, but it is very rare. And it is also rare that he shows that to you. He always wants to keep that strong and unshakable attitude in front of you. But If he really needs it, he will hold you in his arms, very tightly, to be sure you won't go away and hide his face in your neck, probably crying silently on your shoulder.

❤️ For the dates, he probably prefers to stay at your house and read books or watch TV, something quiet. But if you were going out, he would probably prefer to go to a cafe or walk in a park with you. He doesn’t like being in civilization very much.

🖤 You both have morning and night skincare routines, speading time together in the bathroom to do it (to make you both young and youthful). Shadow would probably help you to do yours If you need it, and vice versa.

I don’t ship Sonic with anyone, but the funniest thing to Headcannon is that Sonic is also the star of a harem anime of a bunch of people who he doesn’t like like that.

Like you have Amy, who has always had a crush on Sonic. And has known him longer out of all of the other people who have crushed on him. Childhood best friend.

And you have Shadow, who I imagine, out of all of these people, HATES that he crushes on him. Like, really? He in love with this chili dog licking motherfucker and not a normal person? He’s the ultimate life form for Gaia’s sake, he should have standards. Tsundere.

Then there’s Blaze, who is kinda like Shadow but less self disrespectful. Yes, she holds a lot of for respect Sonic. But she’s a princess of an empire. She can’t allow herself to indulge in feelings over someone who lives in another dimension. Foreign exchange student.

And finally there’s Jet. Who has big “We’re bitter exes, but we haven’t even dated and I’m going to act like we did but I totally broke up with you, and I’m gonna act like this because I would rather die than admit I have a crush on you. Also you suck, I’m better than you.” Vibe. Rivals to Lovers.

And for the record, again, Sonic doesn’t like any of them back. And I just find it hilarious that, in the background all four of these guys are pinning for this blue hedgehog fucker.

Silver loves to doodle, Tails can always tell if he's stopped by his workshop because he doodles in the corner of his blue prints

Shadow can't stand sleeping on his back because he was in stasis for so long, plus it gives him sleep paralysis

Charmy is a thumb sucker💔

Vector's been trying to break the habit but nothing seems to be working

One time Silver gave Amy a recipe from the future, when he got back all of his cookbooks with similar recipes changed in some way. Could've been the cover, title, or the recipe itself

For some reason, the new recipe was even better than the old one

Shadow, as the ultimate lifeform, has 30/20 vision somehow

Blaze is at least part wildcat. Whether that's a panther, lion, puma, or something completely different I know it is within her

Everyone listens to Vanilla. Everyone. Even the other adults

Espio is constantly putting himself in needlessly dangerous situations to 'see if his body can take it'. Nobody likes that he does this

Tails hates being referred to as Sonic's baby/kid brother. If anything, he's a sidekick or a little brother and that's only because Sonic is taller than him, not because he's a kid

Surge and Wave get really competitive on hoverboards, but it's all in good fun (mostly)

Tails is incredibly smart and incredibly gullible, like I know he's fallen for "updog" at least once, and has fallen for the "someone wrote gullible on the ceiling" joke multiple times

You will hurt his feelings if you point this out

No one in team dark can cook, they tried to get lessons from Amy and Vanilla (both together and separately) they are banned from both kitchens now

Dw !! Vanilla is still willing to give them lessons, just only at one of their houses from now on :) (her kitchen will never recover)

If Sonic is passing through town and sees some particularly cool merch of his friends he'll stop to grab it, if he has time

If Sonic doesn't know where Tails is sometimes they have a little bit of a scavenger hunt, or maybe hide n go seek is the better term

Tails will periodically send pictures of where he is, dropping hints if he thinks they're necessary, and Sonic has to find them (Sonic doesn't know Tails invented this game so Sonic keeps his tracking skills sharp during down time)

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other duos or trios adopted this game as well. I imagine specifically team dark would get carried away with this

One time some stranger held a phone up to Shadows face out of nowhere and asked him about his political views. Shadow smiled and said "whichever ones you don't agree with" and then teleported away

I think one of the funniest things in the sonic fandom is that the characters debut anniversary is treated as their birthday/vise versa almost impling that there birthdays take place at some point during that game.

Hiiiii, it's not a bother, and of course!

At first I wanted to draw many things for this, but I realised that it would be too much, maybe in the future :,)

Anyway, Movie SonAmy Headcanons, here they are! :D

HC#1: Tbh I think it would be cool if Movie Amy came from a tribe, just like Knuckles. She would know different fighting techniques, the tribe would have taught her different magic spells (Amy has a sh*t-ton of magic powers in the games too, like turning invisible, it's awesome🥹) and other stuff.

When she came to Earth and saw Sonic, she was like : "Erm.... human-kind freak lol" so she would try to teach him the hedgehog tribe's ways C;

HC#2: There is a "Hedgehogian" language which Amy can speak, due to coming from the tribe. It would be a mixture of puffing and hissing sounds with real words (which isn't anything like any other languages' words).

Whenever Amy gets mad or feels a bit overwhelmed, she starts speaking in that language; but because she couldn't really teach Sonic the language yet, Sonic would be like: "What the... what are you even saying😪" while panicking lol

HC#3: Whenever Sonic and Amy are together, and spend time together in any way, they often listen to music.

If one of Amy's fave songs come up, Sonic would immediately stand up and dance for her/with her to try to impress her a bit😊❤️

HC#4: Sonic absolutely FREAKS OUUUUUUUT whenever Amy is in pain; therefore, when Amy has woman-problems, Sonic is all over the place xD

He'd be like: "DO YOU NEED ANYTHING?!?!?" "YOU AREN'T GONNA DIE, RIGHT?!!?!?!??" "IS THIS THE END?!?!??!" I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUUUUU😭"

And Amy would be like: "Dude stop, I'm already in pain, no need to make it worse with a headache😩"

HC#5: Although I love to portray Movie Ames as a typical tough girl, in reality, she is sweet as honey🥰 (Honey the Cat reference????🤭)

She was the one to first give smooches and hugs to Sonic, and she LOVES to cuddle with him. Sometimes she also just goes over to his house randomly, without any notifications, and if she is not a bother, she drags him into his room, tosses him onto his bed and cuddle time begins.

(Bonus: They also often invite Tails and Knuckles, and they make a cuddle pile🥺 and Ozzie also likes to join them🥰)

The similarities are uncanny, and - as much as I feel exploring the comparability between this all would be amazing - I’m hesitant to suggest that this was always the plan to complete a trilogy. It might not be. But I’m sus.

In this universe, we’re presented with a Sonic character who can - to some degree - directly relate to being ripped away from that one person in his life who was all he’d ever supposedly known, trusted, and cared for. If Movieverse Shadow follows close to other iterations and arcs of the character, the same trauma can naturally be said for him. And I feel that would lead to a very interesting set-up if done right. And Shadow isn’t made into some prick edgelord

Cue the: “How could you possibly know what loss feels like?” spiel mid-scuffle and Sonic snaps.

“Because I lost everything, too. I made a mistake, and…everything went wrong because of me…”

“Her name was Longclaw, and she protected me so I could get here. To safety. I put people in danger. I put her in danger because I wasn’t responsible. And now she’s gone.”

“I miss her everyday. Sometimes I wonder if things had been different…if I…”

“Look, I can be angry and upset about what I did; what happened, I still kinda’ am, but revenge isn’t going to bring Longclaw back.”

Sonic lost a great deal when he left Longclaw behind; his carer, his home, his everything. But throughout the Movieverse, he’s come to gain something just as beautiful - a caring family and amazing friends.

We also begin to journey alongside Sonic as he starts to get used to the idea of being responsible in Sonic 2 and concluding he still wanted to ‘be a kid’. And what could be more of a perfect act of responsibility and ‘growing up’ than directly showing another the power of being a just hero and supporting someone who’s pain he can understand.

Idek…just a few wee thoughts… :)

Thinking about... Sonic and Shadow racing from time to time. Pretty standard hc.

Except that Shadow loses more often than not, but not because he's slower or anything. He just keeps getting distracted by things he's never seen and straight up stops running to admire the pretty flowers he spotted in the undergrowth, or a butterfly with a peculiar pattern on its wings, or a rock formation in the distance that from this angle looks especially cool.

The first time it happens Sonic only notices after a while and kinda goes "wtf did he trip and fall into the void or smth" and runs back to look for Shadow and finds him laying on his stomach staring intensely at a bunch of weird fake-ladybug thingies.

And maybe nowadays when Shadow gets home after one of these 'failed' races, the first thing he tells Rouge is "I saw a new flower today" and she goes "alright describe it to me we're adding it to the Notebook™" and all is well with the world.

P.S. The Notebook™ is a little journal of all the new things Shadow sees and likes <3
