When Steven is in the tower is he ever let out or does he just sit there rotting away for years? Does he even get to shower? How do they feed him? Do they just open the door and hope he doesn’t run out? Do the diamonds never visit him?

Is this blog going to continue?

1) Steven is never let out his punishment was to sit and rot until the diamonds decide they want to let him out which only happens when Spinel and the Crystal Gems come around. Before the start of Era 3 Steven had never left the tower once he was put in it. This is a major part of Steven’s character since he never really had any interactions with anyone for most of his life and so many of his formative years he was rotting away with only Lion to keep him company.

2) Steven is a very stinky boy for the most part. Occasionally Steven is bathed by gems while in the tower where it’s mostly them putting soap on him and then splashing water to rinse him off. This is also when he will get a new change of clothes.

3) They made a tiny gap to slip food and water to him. Again they want to isolate him so they keep interactions to the bare minimum.

4) Before the gap was made they did open the doors to slip in food and Steven tried to run but he was punished for that and learned the hard way not to do that.

5) They never visited him until right before Era 3 begun. The three didn’t quite know what to do with him and were still resentful.

6) The blog will continue. Right now we are thinking about posting episodes, having interactive asks open, and posting stuff from all over the timeline.

1-2: Nora is speaking off-screen, the panel is a side view of Greg and Pearl about to go in, stopping because Nora has drawn their attention. Leads to a bird's eye view of the group and the area. Nora: uh… Actually is it ok if you guys wait out here?

3-4: Greg and Pearl take a beat to look at Nora, then each other, like they’re confirming this is happening, and both look a little surprised.

5: Both turn their head back toward Nora before responding. Greg: We can do that. Pearl: Are you sure?

6: Nora lets Amber go for the first time in a while, Amber turning slightly to look at her as she’s being let go. Nora: Yeah.

7: Nora: I'm an adult, I should be FINE, right? Nora gives a thumbs up, looking less than confident.

8: Nora: And if I’m not, you can just follow the sounds of hyperventilating to find me! Nora walks into the doorway Carnelian following. She says forcibly laughing, clearly trying to make a joke of some sort. Silver Pearl is not going inside and looks bewildered and concerned over the behavior.

9: Pearl and Greg look concerned; the joke did not land.

10: Carnelian gesturing Nora walked by the stairs

12: Close up as Nora and Carnelian walk past the Blue Diamond mural.

13: Nora looks up at the mural of her mother.

14: Nora turns her head away looking more determined then before.

15: Shows the entryway to where they are going, but the light shining out is too bright to see anything just yet.

So uh I made a mom swap AU ig. I was just doodling, and then I got attached.

So here's my BD!Steven. I'll be referring to him as Azul as well for disambiguation.

This is not a proper character sheet, I'll make smth better later, and maybe change stuff, but this is what I got for now. I'm also still thinking about actual story stuff lol.

But yeah, Swap AU. One of UF's first original AUs, focused on, for those of you not in the know, Steven and the twins essentially swapping roles (lots of other swaps in there too but that's the main one). In this AU, the twins are Garnet's kids (Sapphire was Dipper's mom, Ruby was Mabel's). Everything else here is probs pretty explainitory. It was fun to draw these kiddos again, and to give their fusion a much needed redesign. If I do more Swap sketches, I'll probs do Steven and Connie next, for fun ^_^

I rewatched steven universe and my God that show is still a banger!! It hit me with a great wave of inspiration

I made a swap! Au where white diamond takes the role of pink diamond in the show etc. I wanted them to look different from the og diamonds although ig pink still looks a lot like her og self... oh well I can do whatever I want!
