Paulo Muzy 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My tumblr is not especially focused on muscular men or bodybuilders, but since the last ones I posted were a huge success, here are some more photos of Paulo Muzy. In addition to having competed in bodybuilding competitions, Dr. Muzy has several videos explaining the physiology of exercise, supplements and demystifying the "horror" surrounding steroids. 💪🇧🇷

[Deep scary voice]
IT WAS A REGULAR DOCTORS VISIT FOR THIS SICK CHILD.
[Slow zoom in on picture of a cute child with a teddy bear]
UNTIL HER MOTHER MADE THE MISTAKE OF LISTENING TO HER DOCTORS “ADVICE”
[Mother crying in black and white with anonymous shadowing]
That doctor told me the corticosteroids would help with her immunity and inflammation.
[sound of breaking glass, zooming out from a scary picture of a broken syringe]
WHAT THE DOCTOR DIDN’T TELL HER WAS THAT CORTICOSTEROIDS CONTAIN
H O R M O N E S
[crying mom, clutching photo from earlier]
The radical left transed my child now all she does is skibidi, mewing, and sticks her ghatt out for the rizzler.
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE DON’T VOTE FOR THE RADICAL LEFT.

The mental health effects of testosterone were profound. I began experiencing uncontrollable episodes of rage and paranoia where I was a danger to myself and others.
-
As a detrans woman myself, I can tell you absolutely, the testosterone will drive you insane. You will have all sorts of thoughts and urges and problems that you will not understand, and your doctors will also not understand. And instead of getting you off the medication, no, no, no, they'll prescribe you other forms of testosterone. But only the brands that they get kickbacks from.
-
Testosterone also has mental and emotional effects. It can cause mood swings and rage, especially as the dose goes up. But what is interesting is that it also causes euphoria. This is why people who have just started it report feeling better. They're on drugs.
-
At first I was elated. But my mental health did not improve. I became more suicidal, more unstable, and the anxiety became debilitating. The testosterone was never questioned as a contributing factor to my increasing instability.
-
None of the clinicians in the hospital or outpatient centers ever mentioned testosterone as a possible source for my mysterious symptoms. Instead, I was prescribed a litany of psychiatric drugs. This time was so dark that it caused me to question the original promises of a joyful trans life.
-
I kind of thought, maybe I should stop taking testosterone, but I had it so conditioned into me by my doctor and the trans community, oh, you don't just stop, it's really dangerous to just stop. Turns out, yeah, you can just stop. Especially in a situation like that, I really should have. But I continued to take it, but in smaller doses.
-
I was in and out of mental hospitals six times, while being affirmed as a male and supported in my decision to transition. I was also diagnosed with complex PTSD and OCD during this time.
-
And after five years of identifying as transgender, I stopped taking testosterone and began the journey of detransitioning. My mysterious new mental illness went away soon after, and has never returned.

Helena Kerschner has previously talked about her nurse starting her on 100mg of testosterone the same day she walked into Planned Parenthood and asked for it. For comparison, Aaron Terrell and Aaron Kimberly, both long-term transmen, aren't even on that dose.
Aaron Kimberly: Just to put that in perspective, I’m on 65 every week. Have been for years. Aaron Terrell: I started at 25 and was on that for six years, and I’ve been on 50 for the last four. It’s interesting when you talk about the kind of mental turmoil, the emotional roller coaster that you went on, it makes a lot of sense when you realize how just how much testosterone was flooded into your system. Helena: With no gradual build-up to it. It was just one day I had normal female levels of testosterone, and the next day I was injecting 100 milligrams into my flesh. Aaron Terrell: Likely about 50 times what your body was used to. Somewhere between 30 to 50 times.
Note: natural circulating testosterone levels for adult men are about 30 times that of women.
For Helena, the psychological effects were more immediate and severe than the physical effects:
Helena: I kind of describe it as, at first, it was just a lot of irritability, and I just felt on-edge all the time, i felt like i was jumping out of my skin all the time. Restlessness, irritability. And then, as the months progressed, about a year into it, it turned into this feeling where I didn't have emotions anymore. It was just any time I felt anything, whether it might have been sadness or frustration, that would just immediately turn into rage. And so I just felt completely out of control of myself. i was spiralling down into dysfunction and really living an unhealthy life. And these rage attacks would get so bad that I felt like I really had to externalize it. It's not that I wanted to hurt anybody, but when I would be overcome with this, i wanted to break something, I wanted to hit something. And so being this person who was completely unprepared for these feelings, I ended up taking it out on myself, and I ended up hurting myself pretty badly a couple of times, and one of those times actually led to me having to go to the hospital. [..] None of the mental health care providers that I saw, because i saw many, ever put together that maybe the testosterone was part of the reason that I was having such extreme mental health symptoms. It went beyond depression and body image issues like I had as a teenager. It turned into something completely extreme.

I just looked in the mirror and realised we have facial hair? I'm guessing I didn't notice it before because it's only really on the sides of our face and I avoid looking in the mirror too much but I know our eyebrows also started getting way darker and bushier in the middle of last year so maybe it's related to that?
I'm not bothered by it but I am confused given that we're afab and have never been on T

I'm on my second year of the weird third thing.
It culls my T production down to that of an endosex, cisgender woman, despite the fact that that should not be necessary with me being an endosex, cisgender woman (I've checked the latter repeatedly, in a multitude of ways). It made my boobs bigger. It gave me a sex drive.
It is not made to do any of that, and it doesn't for most people.
Two separate hospitals have messed up my prescription during a stay so far and if I go cold turkey I risk death from withdrawal. The doctors are intellectually aware of this.
The last doctor without a degree in endocrinology who tried to research it instead of call in a consult ended up basically writing hormone fanfic to make it fit in her head. Two separate endocrinologists checking her work told me to forget anything this woman told me.
Last time I was in the ER and they saw what HRT I was on, I got sent to gynecology for a norovirus infection. The gyno on call had to call in his supervisor at 11 pm to confirm it was completely unrelated. Both of them did a vaginal exam, just to make sure.
