Sterling was making a beeline for George's room, moving like his life depended on it which he was fairly sure it wasn't. Being one of the many people looking after royalty was a stressful job at the best of times but being personally requested by one of the royals was a whole other level of stress. Sterling had heard of people being called to chambers and being sent immediately to be executed and others who were given knighthood so he had no idea what to expect. He stopped outside of the door to George's chambers, checking his breath and quickly fixing his hair just in case he was there for something positive before he carefully knocked and opened the door "You sent for me your highness?" he said as he slowly slipped in, closing the door behind him and taking one quick breath. There was something about being in the presence of George that made everyone feel taken aback, finally turning to see the man's face it was his undeniable beauty that had Sterling standing straight up and anxiously hoping to be on the man's good side.

"I’ve never raced seriously myself, but I had a go in a Formula One car, with quite an old 3-liter- engine car. I’d drive round Brand’s Hatch in one. And I drove in a charity for Gunnar Nilsson, a Swedish driver who died of cancer, because I gave the money from the ‘Faster’ single off George Harrison to Gunnar’s cancer fund. Anyhow, they had this day for the Gunnar Nilsson campaign at the track in England and they asked me to drive this 1960 Lotus, which had won a race in Monte Carlo when driven by the great English driver Sterling Moss. This car had no seatbelts, and because it had been in a museum for 20 years the tires were hard with no grip on them, yet the car was still pretty quick! But they assured me it was just a demonstration run, going round for five laps in formation and then five laps at your own pace. So I said I’d do it. I got there, and it’s Jackie Stewart in the Tyrrell he won his ‘73 championship in; James Hunt in the McLaren. Phil Hill in his famous Ferrari. I’m walking to my car while chatting with driver John Watson about the pleasure of the run we’re about to take, and he says, ‘You’re joking. There’s no racing driver that goes in formation! As soon as they drop that flag, they’ll all be gone like crazy!’ Sure enough, as soon as the checkered flag fell, the other cars went whoosh as mine puttered along in a haze of smoke! By the time I got to my first lap they were already coming behind me for their second lap, screaming away! Scared me stiff! It was always interesting to see in other areas of life who was wearing the long hair. And in motor racing, Jackie Stewart became the world champion in, I think, 1968, and he was the first guy with long hair and who had opinions, and he was a big Beatle fan. I had a book that Jackie Stewart had written which was called Faster. I thought, good, that’s the title. [chuckles] So I lifted the title, and once I got the title I was away… I wanted to write in a way that was like a story and would also relate to people who weren’t into motor racing. Implementing Change:

I hope this post is received in the spirit it is intended, and that no one takes offense. If we truly want to see real change, we must be the change ourselves. Chanting, reposting videos, and sharing photos will not bring about the change we need. We have done this countless times for nearly decades, following the deaths of Trayvon Martin, Philando Castile, Sandra Bland, George Floyd, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, Alton Sterling, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and many more innocent Black lives lost at the hands of law enforcement.

This time, I propose that we take action by showing up at the courthouse on the day Deputy Sean Grayson is prosecuted for the fatal shooting of Sonya Massey in Springfield, Illinois. We need to stand together, unified as one, regardless of color, race, or religion. Together, we must demand justice, police reform, and accountability for Sonya Massey and all the other lives taken.

That is how we implement real change. Regardless of race or gender, we are all the same—we all bleed the same. This is exactly how Malcolm X intended for us to enact change. Malcolm was prepared to fight for what he believed in, regardless of the outcome. He stood for something and refused to fall for anything.

So, I ask my brothers and sisters to stand with me as I am ready to fight. You can either stand with me, or I will stand alone. I am not going to be a follower; I am going to take the lead and stand firm in this cause.

'C is for Coronation'

Yesterday Generation X to Generation Alpha observed the first British coronation of our lifetimes.

Many of us have watched Queen Elizabeth the Second's coronation and have heard many accounts of coronations previous; from King George V and King George VI . Culturally, the coronation showcased the rich tapestry of UK arts and service; The Abbey service reminiscence of memorable education services; being able to hear any works of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is always a privilege. We all did of course pause and avoid discussion of the very large gap that was always filled with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth during ceremonies.

The royal.uk website states ' A coronation is a ceremony marking the formal investiture of a monarch with regal power'. Sky news noted an estimated 20 million people watched the coronation on tv*.

One point of interest was the Coronation timing during May. One would have thought the event would affect market price with the pound set to climb on the stock market. Of course, the markets were closed. We therefore note how the investiture of a monarch serves the economy and affects UK GDP. The ceremony itself was noted on the royal website as costing approximately £125 million pounds*. A coronation would bring in investment notably with tourism; which asks the question if the coronation were a summer date would weather and longer days possibly have bought more tourism along with increased spending of sterling currency and, possibly, virtual.

Investiture of a monarch with regal power should bring with it market value. We continue to observe the plan for future projections and timings of British business when investing in weekends such as this. The British landscape is in need of rapid advancement, progressive transformation. UK post covid events and entertainment is slowly filling with a hodgepodge of glamour, gaming and social media. With currency, cyber security and virtual theft overwhelming and continuing to grow, we are also in a time where AI is being pushed, and quite possibly a coronation can be considered a distraction for UK citizens from the real problems we all face. It would also pose questions for the institution and the monarchy alongside these AI systems. British citizens currently battle with the very real choices of a suitable governing representative from any of the political parties. Many remain unconvinced of the current candidates representing policies and values being questioned by all UK citizens ; cyber security, the right to privacy, a fair and just constabulary, online regulation, IP privacy, education bandwidth , literacy propaganda and above all; hope.

The coronation was a window into the British Empire in 2023 and the meticulous planning required for a monarch with regal power. The King is of age where the UK may forecast expenditure on another coronation in our generations lifetime. Another investment into the next quarter century and will continue to affect UK economy.

With so much change needed in every facet in the UK, will the monarchy institutions ceremony and trappings be able to convince its people that innovation and advancement in the UK is actually possible; In the two years since returning to the UK there is still much consideration for all problems regarding UK housing, education for children and future growth projections. Despite a celebration of the monarchy traditions, we continue battling a system trying to control progress and thus continue to further spiral into a flawed environment and economy. I continue to observe the UK's thoughts on regulation boards and readings on coronation organisers and institutions. Brand Finance, a brand valuation consultancy estimated The Crowns contribution of £1.77 billion pounds to the UK economy in 2017 through a combination of the Crown Estate revenues and indirect benefits for tourism, trade, media and the arts***. At the end of April 1963, George, Paul, and Ringo vacationed in Tenerife with Astrid Kirchherr and Klaus Voormann. Pictured here is a postcard George sent to next door neighbors in Liverpool.

“We sat together for hours by candlelight and exchanged memories and stories. When no one was quite able to keep their eyes open any longer, George approached me and whispered: ‘Is that fab little car out there yours?’ ‘Yes, it’s mine. Looks great, doesn’t it?’ ‘Do you think I could go for a quick drive before I go to sleep?’ I knew that George was crazy about cars, and sports cars especially. Years later he would drive Sterling Moss’s car at a charity race. I also knew that George was a very good driver to whom you could entrust your car even at five in the morning and after two bottles of wine. I couldn’t deny him his request, and accompanied him. And so, the car’s top down, we drove toward the sunset. We didn’t speak a word, listening instead to the sound of the motor of my small Austin, which sounded to me very different than it usually did. I think the motor was humming ‘Please Please Me’ in Spanish. Later we quietly drove toward the house. He even switched off the headlights, so as not to wake the neighbors or our sleeping friends. That was typical of Georgie. I knew him as one of the most considerate people ever. Later, George would become intensely involved with studying yoga, which goes far beyond the physical and breathing exercises we associate with it in the West. Today I believe that George already had the fundamentals for this in him back then. The practices and meditation techniques only serve to steer people toward the right path. They are only aids designed to make one more conscious and observant of one’s self and others in order to gain wisdom. George exhibited these traits early on.
