originally when i had this thought on new years this year, i had someone specific in mind, but honestly even if it’s just with a friend who also has no one to kiss on new years i still want to do it.

i mean it’s a lot for me to get comfortable with in a year, but i like it as a goal.

worst case scenario if i fail completely i spend new years crying on my couch wishing i’d made more progress this year, and that’s just what i did last year, so honestly it can only get better from here

So I read in an interview with Sofia Alexander that there was gonna be a timeskip of 3 years in season 2 and that Izel would become a full-fledged warrior and the emperor's bodyguard. We all agree that's a trap, right? Even after 3 years of training I doubt he'd be the most qualified for the job, not to mention that he's a beacon for monsters and Sofia implied that his father committed treason, so why would they choose him? Tezcatlipoca is definitely behind this, we saw him talking to the emperor about Izel at the end of the season after all. Now I'm not sure what he's planning to gain from this or why it would take him so long to destroy humanity. My guess is that he went "killing everyone isn't enough I need to make that kid suffer as much as possible for defying me"
