Decided to turn my late kitty into a Lackadaisy character for fun.

Madam Stella, the fly on the wall. She always has one ear turned for new gossip, but her information isn't free. She knows something about everyone. But frivolous gossip is merely a hobby. Nobody actually knows what she does for a living, especially considering she's single and filthy rich. Hmmm. 🤔

Please keep in mind, I've only watched the pilot animation and the teaser for season 1, so please don't spoil me on anything. I'm waiting on the hardback volumes from the backer rewards to read it! But just based on what little I know of this series, I ADORE it!!

One one hand, I'm a big fan of sci-fi. Stargate, Star Trek, Farscape, The X-Files, for example. My dad showed me a lot of the sci-fi shows he liked when he was younger haha.

On the other hand, I've been really really enjoying Dungeon Meshi recently. 10/10 I highly recommend to everyone. It's probably the show I'm enjoying the most at the moment, y'know?

Y'know what? I'll go with a nice, safe answer. Avatar: The Last Airbender. What an absolutely banger show. I don't even need to explain myself.

This is so hard ahsdkjshdksjdhsks. I'll give a couple answers

I've always been a big fan of the big cats. When I was a kid, I used to watch a lot of nature documentaries whenever I was at my grandparents' house. My grandma loved the documentaries about the big cats, so those were the ones we watched the most.

I also really like orcas. My sister's studying marine bio, and orcas have been her favorite for years. So I've, like, absorbed some of that love via osmosis lol.

I also love crows!!! I feed the crows at my uni campus sometimes :3 they're such lovely and intelligent creatures.

His stomach churned, his trip to the market having gone awry when he'd ventured a touch too close to an aethernet shard at an inopportune moment. T'laqa had known the woman in question, though not personally. The tales he'd heard were certainly true, that she cared deeply and sincerely, 'fore she'd seen him collapsed and rushed to his aid.

Stella—that was her name, wasn't it?—had come to him, lifted him from the ground when his aethersickness had calmed enough to allow him to move.

"I'm—"

I'm okay, he wanted to say, but the unnatural way his mouth watered made him think better of it.

From where he sat, a cup appeared before him, given over to the hand that wans't pressed against his face.

"Tha—thank you..."

Though his gratitude sounded weak, it was anything but. T'laqa heard something about ginger and chamomile, ingredients that he recognized were common for nausea. He took a sip, her hand rested on his shoulder like she expected his stomach to protest violently—and with luck, it didn't.

One sip, then two, then a third, the worst of it began to ease and he found himself able to open his eyes and face the woman who had picked him up from the stone in the aetheryte plaza and offer him no small comfort.

"Sorry... I... Aethersickness."

He did not elaborate further, did not trust his voice or his stomach to hold out. It was all he could do to duck his head and lift the tea back to his lips and partake in it slowly.

Hand Motif in Space Camp

Space Camp has multiple shots of hands, serving as symbolism throughout the movie

One of the opening shots is of Mitchell holding his phone in his hands.

When Jet and Sunspot go surfing, we get a shot of Jet's hand

Just before Jet realizes that Sunspot has shrunken, Sunspot reaches up to him

During "It Takes a Team," Sydney extends her hand to help pull Jet out of this weird black hole

"It Takes a Team" has multiple shots of hands, like Jet fist bumping Sean, and everyone stacking their hands together, emphasizing the movie's teamwork theme.

Jet finds out that Galacto has shrunken via a handshake, and Galacto also hops onto Jet's palm

Jet saves Stella by pulling her from the filaments

Jet tries to reach for the deshrinkulum, and then Galacto and Sunspot crawl out of his sleeve to get it

Mitchell slips on a puddle and his phone falls out of his hands, causing him to lose the evidence that Stella is an alien

Stella deserves a section of her own, since she is the most associated with hands throughout the movie. First, she taps her fingers together while scheming

Then, Mitchell helps her up from the ground

She wiggles her fingers when Mitchell tells her that Jet is at space camp

She gestures with her finger to introduce herself to Sean, Sydney, and Mindy

She does peace signs twice

Stella presses the buttons on her team's spaceship to "prove" that it doesn't work, but it does work after all

Stella files her nails while asserting she had nothing to do with the ship.

I already posted this on my Instagram earlier this month, but now I’m posting it on here in honor of Bi Visibility Day! Jet is technically bi though it’s only shown through hints in the series. Stella doesn’t have a canon identity but I also headcanon her as bi! Heck, every bortronian might be bi.

Stella’s voice actress also endorses this

RJG Theory: "Zerk and Stella visit Earth"

So Stella will most likely visit Earth again, since she's friends with Jet and the gang now. And so will Zerk, since he's Jet's cousin and all that.

Zerk is very hyperactive and in-your-face, which would be especially annoying to someone who both has never met him before and so isn't used to his behavior, and is used to doing things by herself.

Also, since Zerk says he wants to be a Bortronaut when he grows up, he would probably idolize the Great Galacto, which might extend to being very interested in all the crazy stunts Stella, Galacto's former number one fan, has pulled.

So what would happen if, say, Zerk visits Earth again, but as soon as he arrives Stella drops in at the last minute, saying her parents are letting her sleep over?

In my opinion, hilarity would ensue. Zerk bombarding Stella with questions about all the "Galacto Challenges" she's done over the years, Stella getting increasingly annoyed and Zerk not picking up on it, Zerk trying to impress Stella with his "knowledge" of Earth that's like 70% wrong, Stella straight-up trying to ditch Zerk, which he thinks is just a game of hide-and-seek, etc, etc

And the whole time Jet and Co. are desperately trying to make them get along

The way Stella's holding Octavia here makes me see shrimp colors............ "Look at this thing. This is a very important thing". And to her she probably is, seeing as it's fair to assume that Stella's only purpose and worth was in her capability to provide an heir to the Goetia family. "I made this thing, making this thing was my duty, look at this thing". Stella's dependent on Octavia's existence, she needs her, and at this point the upkeep of her image needs her more than she needed her marriage with Stolas to remain in place, which is why she eventually agreed to the divorce in my opinion. He can go, he'll just end up dragging her reputation (further?) down as well if things go on anyway, but what she made remains, the proof of her worth remains...... Which is one of the reasons why I think that Stella would never think to harm Octavia. Use her to hurt Stolas and things along these lines, absolutely, but intentionally causing or allowing something to happen to her? No, not at all

So Stella isn't holding Octavia like one normally would hold a/their child, she isn't supporting her or cradling her... but at the same time there's something there. She's presenting her, but she isn't showing her off, she isn't holding her up by torso. She's holding her to her chest, with her hands above Octavia's chest. There's something about that. A detached sort of tenderness. I can't imagine that she has/had any positive inclination towards motherhood understandably - it certainly didn't seem like it at the anniversary party, but to me what she said there wasn't about disregarding Octavia as much as it was about humiliating Stolas; she didn't go to baby Octavia when she called for her, and in turn baby Octavia didn't have any drawings of her in her room - but... she took Via with her when she left the house even before the divorce became a reality, she had a cliché "don't turn her against me" moment, she's completely unbothered by the thought of Stolas' "duties, possessions, legions" entirely going to her (while someone else very much was)...... There's something there, I really think that, that it isn't just cynical "I need to keep her on my good side". And while it's more than fair to assume that Octavia isn't nearly as close to her as she is to Stolas, or as comfortable with her, I do think that the uhhh happenings of the series are maybe swaying her towards her mother without even the need for any manipulation shenanigans

And since I'm already tinfoil hatting over one singular piece of merch as it is I might as well go all in and say that there's also a certain possessiveness to a gesture like that (it's how you might hold a doll or a peluche...), and with possessiveness comes protectiveness, and for how frivolous and ferociously attached to appearances and status Stella is, Octavia certainly looks and feels like a teenager that's allowed a lot of freedom, definitely more than either her or Stolas ever were allowed at her age, and maybe that isn't on Stolas alone, and mmmmhhhhhh... much to think about

Man idk. Just give me one (1) direct interaction. One actual direct interaction that I can overthink forever and then I can die happy
