No, we do not, to a certain extent. So long as they do not frighten anyone and are with a cute Pokemon, any humans are allowed in the park.

Found family, huh? I guess in a way my pokemon team feels like family, but in terms of humans - I've talked about my brothers before, but we aren't actually related at all. We just grew up together and we see each other as siblings because of that. We fought like siblings, too, LOL. Man, I bet anything you'd be able to hear our screeching even without the hearing aides 😂

I also consider my power soccer team to be part of my found family, and I don't know if that's weird or not but it's true. Kind of like how you were there for Solaire as a fellow Deaf kid, my team was there for me as fellow disabled people and wheelchair users. I wouldn't trade what I have with them for anything in the world. They've helped with so much in dealing with being a disabled person, and figuring out how to live independently.

Just a little zap! Not sure what happened exactly, but something in that void-portal that was pretty draining. I figured it was the guy who... found me yesterday, but he swears up and down he didn't do it.

I did get a bit of a boost from a new pal, though!

"Okay okay okay. Okay. I can be normal about this. I will be so normal about this," they announce to themself, holding the orb in one hand as they wave goodbye to the pelipper with the other. They are still in their pajamas, seeing as it's early morning, but they are in their chair and very awake.

"Oh, you're recording?" They ask as they notice their phone being used. A squeak of affirmation comes from behind the camera. "Okay, I guess I should-- Hi everyone, good morning? So uh. Orb!"

They lift the necklace for the camera.

"Orb. From Ferro. Thank you, Ferro! And uh. I guess. I'm going to become a pokemon now?"

They shrug, but they're very clearly excited. They struggle a bit with putting on the necklace before asking Finny for help. Once their hands are safely free, they start flapping them.

"So I barely slept last night. And I can't just go back to sleep now that the orb is here. So we're doing this now! How do I..."

They touch it lightly--

"Oop--"

--and within seconds, a chatot has appeared in their place. It's very loud and active, flapping it's wings and squwaking. If one understands pokespeech, they would hear, "HOLY FUCK IT WORKED, IT WORKED OH MY GODS!"

Hello! I'm @steeltraptrainer, and I see you got corviknights too! I've got one myself, named Ratchet, and he is one of my aces. Can I ask how old your two are, and what kind of polish you use for their care? I'm always looking for ways to improve how I care for Ratchet, and he deserves to be spoiled.

Medoh is actually older than I am, I think, though I couldn't tell you for sure how much older. I do know that she has been there for as long as I can remember. Galerider is only a couple of years old, but he has made remarkable progress in catching up to his mother's skill level in that time—I tend to use the two of them interchangeably in League battles, these days.

As for polish... it's rather hard to acquire for most, but I tend to buy a lot off of Professor Purah—she loves her Steel-types as well. I don't recall the actual name, I'll have to ask her, but I believe it's... Sheikah-something...

Well, I was running low anyway. I'll fly over to Hateno and get more (and ask her what the formal name for it is) tomorrow.

Delightful to meet you, and delighted to hear about your own Corviknight! They're very good Pokemon, in battle and just in general... though I am willing to admit that I may have slight biases here.

So I have a particular elderly relative, who despite being older than my grandmother is considerably better with technology than she is (though she still wants very little to do with the internet, which... yeah, fair enough, I'm pretty sure she was around for its creation. She is very old.) Anyway, she had business in my area, and I have a couch that pulls out into a bed, so I offered for her to stay the night at my house.

This went decent, at first. Until I woke up a solid hour earlier than I normally do, with a distinct sense that something was terribly wrong. Picked up my Spiritomb off the nightstand and tucked them under my arm just in case, and crept into the kitchen.

...Only to find my roommate, noted insomniac, and said relative—who, I cannot emphasize this enough, she is ancient and it really does seem like the sleep schedules of the elderly tend to skew earlier the older they get—talking in the kitchen.

And my roommate, with the most deadpan look on their face, regaling my relative with the story of why we don't have a microwave anymore. Because, apparently, while she doesn't particularly like the vast majority of modern technology, she has a soft spot for the convenience of microwaves. And was curious why I of all people wouldn't have one.

If anyone needs me, I will be screaming into my Togekiss's feathers for the foreseeable future, because I had work and while I was busy enough I could avoid thinking about that. Off work now!

My favorite steel type is my Copperajah!!!! He’s the first Pokémon I ever caught, and has been a wonderful companion since I was younger than even my own daughters!!!!!
