Coming to viewers from the end of time seated upon his throne on Yggdrasil, the God of Mischief is bestowing upon his loyal subjects the most highly-anticipated release of the year: Loki Season 2 on 4K UHD. Today, Marvel Studios announced that fans of the Tom Hiddleston-led Disney+ series can expect to add the critically celebrated follow-up season to their collection on December 3, 2024. There’s plenty to be excited about here as, along with the six-episode season, buyers will also get their hands on a gorgeously crafted SteelBook with exclusive art and collector's cards nestled inside. The first season of Loki left audiences on quite a cliffhanger, forcing us to wait more than two full years for the next lineup of episodes to drop. But, boy, were they worth the wait. Season 2 of the beloved series followed Loki and his ragtag group of outcast TVA workers as they tried to find the truth about what was happening within the organization's walls. Solidifying himself as the hero we’ve always known him as, Loki finds his glorious purpose by the time the credits roll on the heartfelt, emotional second season.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ launches October 1 in the west

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on October 1 in the west for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, Spike Chunsoft announced. In Japan, the game will launch as previously announced on July 18 for 6,350 yen.

The Japanese release will only support Japanese voice-overs, and Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text at launch, but will be updated with additional language support when the western version launches. The western release will support English and Japanese voice-overs, as well as English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text.

The PlayStation 5 version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ will be available both physically and digitally worldwide, while the Xbox Series and PC versions will be digital-only. In the west, a “Lucid-Noir Limited Edition” will also be available for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99, which includes a copy of the game, an outer box with artwork by Rui Komatsuzaki, a SteelBook, 6.5-inches Shinigami plush, and the official soundtrack “Noise of Neon.”

A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available worldwide for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 / 7,200 yen, which includes the base game, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.

Pre-orders for any edition on PlayStation 5 include the novel “How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case.” First-print physical copies of the game include a printed version of the novel, while pre-orders for the digital edition include a digital version of the novel.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ is an enhanced version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, which originally launched for Switch. It adds the following content:

But I have to say this one is probably one of the nicest ones of all of them. Even the box is beautiful. I'm so glad I have this. Unfortunately the steelbook wasn't wrapped in plastic but no worries, man. That's why I have hard plastic sleeves specifically for steelbooks.

I love this SO MUCH! Now I have to move crap around and make a proper shrine for my babe. Maybe even display my art with it too.

Plenty of movie pick-ups for this last week of October!! We of course picked up a Deadpool & Wolverine! which is oddly slipcase free? I seen other people get it online and have a slipcase but the ones being sold here do not which I thought was strange. Then of course we picked up a copy of Twisters which I thought was a great movie. The of course we picked up the M.Night Shyamalan double feature of Signs and The Sixth Sense which I was very excited for and was happy to get and finally we picked up the Claptrap Steelbook of Borderlands. Now like I said in my post about the movie I didn't think it was a bad movie but things could have been better and I do still think Borderlands would have been better as a TV series then a movie but anyway I was extremely happy to get everything and we probably won't be picking up much stuff for the next lil while being that Christmas is coming soon.
