I need help making a decision

My original plan was Seth but I've heard that Rook is very peppy even if you try to play a more serious one, and Seth is like... while not unfriendly, they don't necessarily have that kind of demeanor. (Playing them in Inquisition I had to make them British because the male human voice is like sooooo overly brash and masculinely confident lol)

TJ and Naomi are much more cheerful characters, so might fit that better.

initial plan was mage (which is their class in my current DA:I run) but I realized that a warrior reaper fits their aesthetic way more lol like yes i wanna give the devil-themed death-powered character a scythe... Probably mournwatch, despite the awful default color palette (lol)... like crow is more aesthetically right but thematically doesn't really make sense for them.

TJ:

probably a warrior champion for class goal, since it involves a lot of explosions and is pretty tanky, afaict from the info screen, which imo suits TJ pretty well. also definitely a lord of fortune.

I haven't made Naomi in the CC demo like I did for the other two, so for reference, a drawing:

probably a very small elf, and likely a rogue with knives, as opposed to archer (which is normally my go-to, since i tend to favor ranged weapons in games) Would likely be either a grey warden or a veil jumper... depending

i suppose I could also do Tama as a dwarf or something and go for... also a rogue w/ a focus on traps and stuff... even if no piercings 😔 (not unexpected lol, in fact i did a no-piercings Tama for my Ryder in ME:A)

my past inquisitor will be Qela, since she is my main (and only completed) Inquisition save, so I don't plan on playing her as a Rook esp since I have so many other characters to play around with and it would be fun to explore classes and not just do the same female elf archery-based rogue I normally go for :P

I’m just saying if league of legends could really crack into a new market if they put some of that cash into a single player open world dishonored esque game where your character choice depends on how u wanna play / affects the storyline.

I cannot stress enough that in any game my battle strategy is to hang back in hiding or out of range and take very carefully aimed shots at targets.

Hence how I spent like 87 bomb arrows on one of those hands monsters before I figured out to shoot it faster,

Hence that fucking time I took out a Lionel by standing just outside of it's 'call down lightning' range and going through every arrow I could carry,

Hence beating almost every camp in a horizon game, and even some large machines without anyone even being sure I was there [I will get you the stats one day],

If you give me the option to avoid close range combat and to simply aim from cover with my squishy little body in a game, I will do that. I regularly leverage patience over my being terribly under-leveled for a fight.

I am not sorry and I will do it again.

sometimes i see queer people make low hanging anti straight jokes, and they'll often pre-defend themselves by saying straight people don't need defending as if the queer community isn't populated by tons of straight people, straight trans people, straight ace people, straight poly people. queerness doesnt exclude exclusively opposite sex attracted people and it bothers me to see these jokes and their subsequent defenses because normative society certainly rejects these folks because of their queerness and now you are inside the queer community rejecting them for who they desire. i think about straight trans folks the most who are out here under fire from normative society who turn to the queer community for support only to be inundated with sentiments like straight people are actually the real lesser than folks, and it's easy enough to say straightness is valorized in normative society so shitting on straight people is punching up, but i can't help but be keenly aware that the queer straight people tend to be queer in the ways which are often excluded from queer community. so actually yeah i do think straight people need our protection, not heteronormative culture, but individual people? yeah. the "coming out as straight" jokes are all haha good times fuck the straights until you think about the fact that straight trans people when they come out are functionally doing that. after all how many straight trans people used to think they were cis gay people. and we, inside the queer community, turn their experiences into a mean spirited punch line designed to reject them from queer community.

like sorry i just don't think we are gonna find queer liberation by trying to figure out which group we are allowed to make fun of for having the wrong sexuality.
