Stasi is the short, colloquial term for "Ministerium für Statssicherheit", the east german ministry for state security. It got disbanded along with the the German Democratic Republic but it used to be infamous for spying on the citizens of its own country, having people spy on each other and in general, creating an atmosphere of fear of being watched by or on behalf of the state.

The way Colin uses it here sounds likw a german would talk about someone or thing who is spying on people on behalf of the government. It tracks with him having stdued german, too, although it's not exactly the kind of thing you'd find in a textbook

Academics consistently and persistently speak over those of us who don't have "higher education". I have never seen schooling past the 10th grade. I do not even have a diploma equivalent. I am a layman, working 40 hours a week in a labor job that underpays me, like millions of others in my country. And yet it's always academics who want to come talk down to me. Go away, I do not (and I doubt many others) appreciate your managerial tone. If I say things I speak it from experience and not from a book and I do not give a rats ass who that upsets. I'm tired of being left out and pushed out of discussions despite my valid and just positions because I wasn't nuanced enough for someone who went to college. And I don't give a shit who doesn't like that I've said this. Block me, because I will not entertain any discussion on this.
