Quest Board VS To-Do Lists
I made some tiktoks of my process as I was making my Quest Board and a lot of people liked the idea so I thought I'd share it here:
I like lists but they tend to overwhelm me with information that I already know and stress over. Lists also make me feel like I need to complete the tasks on them in order, regardless of if I consciously realize I don't have to or not. Completing tasks on a list out of order makes me feel disordered/disorganized.
Why can't there be a way to have a visual of all the tasks I want to complete without it being a list? How can I make doing the things I have to do more enjoyable?
QUEST BOARD!!!
A quest board allows you to choose when and what you want to do. When you have the time/energy, head over to your quest board and pick a quest! It's your choice of what to accomplish next! One of the best things about quest listings is that there are rewards! You can choose a reward for completing your quest/task! Could be anything: a piece of candy, an extra chapter of your book, that special tea in the back of the cupboard. Not all tasks are the same level of difficulty, you could color code the tasks with bigger rewards for completion of the bigger tasks!
I used a $10 cork board and $1 wooden sign decorated with cooking twine and paint markers for mine, but really all you need for a functional quest board is some sticky notes and a designated area! You can tape off an area on your wall, use a door, use a piece of paper, or even a mirror. You could use tape and paper if you don't have access to sticky notes, or you could write it all on a whiteboard if that works better for you.
I Can't Think of Any Rewards/The Rewards Aren't Enticing...
You could have life be even more like a game for a moment and assign skill points to each task. You can have wherever kind of skills or stats you want! Cleaned the kitchen? +5 Cleanliness Swept the floor? +2 Agility Got out of bed? +1 Motivation You can keep a notebook or log of all the points you earn and stats you've raised. There could be thresholds or requirements to "level up" in which maybe you get an even bigger reward like a day off or you get to purchase something you've been putting off.
There is so much you can do with a quest board. I'm so excited to have come up with this idea and share it with others!

From Overwhelmed to Organized: Task Management Made Easy
Going from feeling overwhelmed to staying organized is achievable with the right task management strategies. Begin by creating a clear list of tasks, categorizing them by priority, and setting realistic deadlines. Breaking down large tasks into smaller, actionable steps can make them feel more manageable. Using task management tools like Trello, Todoist, or Asana helps keep everything in one place, allowing you to track progress and set reminders. Adopting time management techniques like the Pomodoro method or time-blocking can boost productivity and prevent burnout. By organizing tasks, establishing routines, and setting daily goals, you’ll find it easier to stay on top of your workload and reduce stress.

A fun, nifty survival guide for forgetful and messy peeps (myself included!)
This is actually an old post but still, I wanna share it with y'all ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ ). To be honest, I do a lot of these things and pretty much helps. I have kind of developed this habit of putting sticky notes on jars and cabinets reminding me of what stuff is in them. There were a few times I'd lose a few knick-knacks especially when they're very small or light such as my ol' blue cap which I had unknowingly lost while I was out for a walk.

By maintaining good records, you'll be better prepared come tax time and less likely to miss out on potential deductions.
5. Stay Informed About Changes: Tax laws and regulations are constantly evolving, which is why it's essential to stay informed about any changes that may affect your filing. Your local tax professional can keep you updated on relevant updates and advise you on how to adapt your tax strategy accordingly.
6. Utilize Technology: Many tax professionals now offer online filing options, making it easier than ever to submit your taxes from the comfort of your own home. Take advantage of these technological advancements to streamline the filing process and reduce the risk of errors.

I Make Lists About Writing Lists
I am a list maker. It’s the only way I can remember to get anything done. If you tell me something and you don’t see me write it down or make a note in my phone, then it’s not happening. Sometimes on my To-Do List is a note about making a new list. Once one list gets all scribbled over, it’s time to rewrite and revise the list. I use four main things for my list writing: My phone notes, a big…

This is a picture from a notebook I started to stay a little more organized! (A list of some of the things I'm trying to afford.)
I'm brainstorming ideas how to possibly raise money since SSI obviously won't cover everything I want/need to pay for.

Do you guys notice how when Shawn Fain, president of the United Auto Workers union, started planning a general strike, he did it by a) targeting his messaging towards unions with the ability to safely and effectively strike in large numbers, b) laid out a clear, actionable plan for those unions to follow (setting contracts to all expire at the same time, since many unions cannot strike while under contract), c) is using union contracts to set clear, actionable demands that can be met in order to gauge success and provide an end goal, and d) started organizing FOUR YEARS before the proposed strike date to give people the chance to plan accordingly, because it takes a really freaking long time to get tens of millions of people organized?
You notice how he didn't do it by slapping a message on Twitter saying 'hey nobody go to work on Monday, that'll really show 'em'?
#those 'monday is a general strike stay home if you can!!!' posts are SO performative and they really annoy me#like. you MUST know you can't organize a general strike of tens of millions of people by sharing an infographic on twitter. Right?#don't even get me started on the most recent one that was like 'we understand the last strike only gave one day of notice'#'so this time we're giving you two! strike is on tuesday everyone don't forget!'#like GENUINELY was that supposed to be a joke#the linked article also touches on how difficult actual organizing a workplace is which is nice#because they mention previous failed attempts in which organizers basically just handed out leaflets#and assumed the benefits would be obvious. which i think is basically the equivalent of posting an infographic on twitter#which is to say - not effective at all. Organizing is a LOT of work! Running an effective union even more so!#labor rights

More thoughts about cigarette mom! Thomas and Bruce HERE WE GO—
I just. I love mean dad Thomas, man.
Not mean in a way that makes Bruce feel small and worthless and insignificant, no, —
Mean in the sense of refusing to sugar coat and coddle because this is Gotham, and he can’t.
“Bruce I am NOT buying you that dumbass squeesh-mellow bullSHIT. Cause it’s 300 bucks, that’s why! We’re rich, not STUPID. You want it so bad, how about getting a JOB.”
Bruce is 5 years old and 4 feet of nothing and every inch his mother, which is why he could swallow the universe whole, Alfred thinks,
“I’m too CUTE for a job!”
“Well, babe, you can either be cute, or you can be broke. When you choose, let me know.”
Bruce’s first job was being Martha’s model for paintings, bringing Thomas his Budlights after long nights at the hospital, and taste tasting for Alfred.
I feel like baby Bruce was such a brat and Alfred is trained for inhuman composure. It’s kinda like watching a baby kitten try to use claws they don’t have. “Are you ready to count to 10 now?”
Thomas, not even looking up from his newspaper, “Bruce! Boy, you better listen to Al if you wanna keep your teeth, you hear me?!”
Baby Bruce called the CPS on Thomas MULTIPLE times but it’s always been for like. Dad smoked in the house again even if mommy said not to and it bothers my dolls.
#I think Thomas would still be sweet and call bruce babe and bunny tho <3 he loves his baby he’s just from New Jersey#bruce employs Alfred’s gentle parenting as much as possible but those are Thomas’ grandkids 100%#bruce gently holding Tim after he stayed past bedtime: you know. my dad used to threaten to switch my organs if I didn’t go to sleep#Tim: …… that actually explains a lot#thomas wayne#alfred pennyworth#bruce wayne#baby bruce wayne#dc#dc comics#text#batman#text post
