FFXIV Write 2023, Day Twenty-Five: Call It A Day

Yawning widely enough that her jaw cracks, Statera rubs her good eye with the back of her hand. Forcing her vision to focus on the page in front of her again, the words swim in her vision.

Letting her head fall forward, the impact of it hitting the page fills the study, her ears flicking. A loud groan comes up through her throat as she vents her frustration, her tail lashing angrily.

Forcing her back to straighten and lifting her head, she winces as sunlight streams in through the window, bright and glaring on her face. Realising how late - or early - it had gotten, the Miqo'te closes the book with a snap and stands up, rolling her scarred shoulder as she heads to bed.

I was going to do something else, but I didn’t have a good pose reference so I ended up making runes/symbols for the elements in the funky magic royalty AU

The colored one is the ‘full’ rune, while the black + white one is the basic ones. Of course they can be simplified even more, but those are the way you’d want to do it if you want to do it ‘right’.

Most people don’t care and just do the basic shape. Everyone hates the tenebris rune because if you don’t do the lines on the inside it’s usually mistaken for a bat, which means you have to do the lines unless you have another elemental rune there for context.

Fortunately it’s mostly young kids, artists (canvas paintings, tome illustrations, wall paintings, stone engravings), and that group of nerds in Stateras who really have to worry about that.

Pocket Bravery for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch launches April 10 - Gematsu

Retro-inspired fighting game Pocket Bravery will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on April 10, publisher PQube and developer Statera Studios announced. The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally.

Pocket Bravery first launched for PC via Steam on August 31, 2023.

its been a hot minute but i've been working on some map detail

its really blurry from my dumbass deciding last minute to make the image bigger. ahh well.

anyway, this is the general area of the saburra contient, with its capital ardor on the east side. the kingdom/nation soleil was born to. its nestled at the foot of a mountain surrounded by short but winding rivers. the smaller red dots are other towns/smaller cities that all connect via a major espressway. with a resort on the beach. (kinda wanna call it costa del sol just for fun.)

and a lighthouse that overlooks a cliff.

the rest of the area is hilly with a few mountains and a river that separate the west dessert side. and at the very left corner in the image is a "nymph domain". a dangerous place that houses a sort of elemental creature. kinda like a zelda fairy fountain mixed with the geo domains from genshin.

thats just a small part, but its coming along nicely.
