Summary: Werewolf Vi fights in the pits to finance finding her sister and vampire heiress Caitlyn wants to be the one holding the end of the leash.

Preview:

It’s a short drive through beautiful tree lined streets, past expensive homes. Parents will be home soon, families gathering behind their locked doors, safe and warm in each other’s glow. They’ve all heard stories about full moon nights or know someone who says they saw a beast, whether they believe in it themselves or not. Doors will lock tight and streets will be emptier than every other night this month. The whole world will feel like it’s held its breath.

But some of the people who live inside these fancy houses won’t be coming home. Not yet. They’ll have said they have so much work at the office, they’ll be running late, don’t wait up. Instead they’ll drive to a small fishing town north of the city where some of them keep their summer homes, and watch monsters hurt each other for their pleasure. The spectacle of blood warms them more than their families ever could.

The whole werewolf concept is basically izuku gets attacked (sometime between first getting ofa and a little bit after the dorms were put in place) and doesn’t fully remember what happened but shortly afterwards, his senses are amplified and he’s faster/stronger. He chalks it up to training and ofa, but what he’s oblivious to is the fact that during the nights surrounding the full moon, he transforms into a bloodthirsty wolf-man

Meanwhile, Aizawa and some other underground heroes have been tracking down a “villain” with what they think is a wolf quirk. At some point, Aizawa finally subdues the villain and hands him over to the police. With a job well done he gets some much needed rest

The next morning, his students are panicking because they can’t find midoriya. While looking for his missing student, he gets a call from the precinct telling him something strange happened with the villain he arrested; the wolf turned back into a human and it’s a kid. A kid who is looking for Aizawa specifically. A kid with green hair and freckles.

#anyways the idea is deku has zero clue what’s happening and is terrified #and at first aizawa and the detectives come to the conclusion it’s a different villain that hit midoriya with their quirk #they monitor him for a week or two and everythings fine #but then izuku starts acting kind of short tempered and rougher in training on the days leading up to the full moon #and it all comes to a head when class a has a little movie night and deku who’d fallen asleep starts having a mightmare or something #and they try and wake him up and then bam his bones starts breaking and reshaping and he starts transforming #and everybody’s freaked out and then the wolf lunges at them before running out into the night #and then more shit idk #but yeah that’s the idea #werewolf!deku

#kirby #daily kirby #my art #digital #hal laboratory #nintendo #waddle dee #(sort of)#one of my christmas presents was my wife's old desktop computer that she'd beefed up for video games #a while ago granted but still #so I did some more work on getting it set up today and then spent 5 hours playing house flipper :)#big kid computer means I can actually play pc games again #beyond full perfecting cook serve delicious on low graphics lol #also I knew my brother had given me a yakuza game a while ago that I hadn't opened because I was still on my laptop #but it turns out he gave me two yakuza games #so once I get the controller set up I can play yakuza 2 also!#I really enjoyed yakuza 1 except for a couple bs sections in the story and the very very last side mission.#(having a more powerful computer also means once I get the peripherals squared away I can start video captioning)#(and maybe hopefully stream occasionally)#(I really wanna stream my partner playing ace attorney because I want to have his reactions on record for myself lol)#(he loves puzzles and he grew up in the moon logic video game days and he has some background in criminology)#(so either he'll get super into it or he'll absolutely hate it I think lol)#(I've done a very good job of not spoiling anything)#(I know the court segments well but I might keep a guide on the side for the investigation segments)#(I never had that much trouble with them tho cuz I tend to be thorough and methodical)

Year In Review!!!

Cutting it close to the New Year in my time zone, so what better way to end the year with a review of some of my favorite art pieces from each month! Let's see how I've grown together eh? <3

Yo wait, has anyone made skyrim dca? As dwemer automations? Hello? That idea has been bouncing around my head for a while... that would be so fun

Gonna try my hand at it actually

They are the fucking DCA Dwemer City Atendant

#like imagine it #you find them in a dwemer ruin full of falmer. they are a city guard #to simulate a day and night cycle the city had not only lights that dimmed in the night time but also enviroments that changed #like the lamps had a sun motive in the say and changes to a moon and stars motive in the night #and so did the guards. they are sun themed in the day cicle and moon themed in the night #most guards have been disabled by the falmer but one is holding on in the inner part of the city.#they keep the lights on there so the light sensetive falmer dont get there #moon has kinda been stuck in attack mode because as soon as its dark the falmer come in #the dragonborn has a lil quest following them throughout the city as the keep changing between sun and moon in the different parts #depending on if the light are on or off #you help them putting all the lights on #and help them fixing moons problem of being stuck in attack mode #they start following you #and boom dca follower

one of my essays from back when i studied philosophy is being put into a good answers guide at my university<3 not one of my good ones but

#its abt the philosophy of conspiracism in the modern day. suuuuuch a blast to write #my prof told me that he was like gasping at the twists and turns of the anti vaccine movement #i was like king have you been living in this world with us. this is just the news peace and love #so fun to like talk abt the moon landing and 911 and just stream of consciousness and someone think its good #bc if i had handed that in as a poltiics paper it would be like snooze you missed these things and its not valuable bc x y z #but this dude had never heard any of it before! loved that #he was like 'to get the full 100 i would have wanted some actual philosophy content in there' and yeah true #gonna talk to the prof tho bc theres a new philosophy of AI unit #and its been running a few years i took it in my last sem of undergrad #and it was so fallacious and like dick sucking of AI engineers #i kept being like true ai or not lets talk abt how this is impacting society NOW since its being CALLED ai #and i kept getting almost failing grades #then my final exam was graded by a different prof and lo and behold it pulled my grade waaaaaaay up #so clearly my writing is. good. and my grasp of AI and the concepts is. good.#that dude was just musk pilled or smth #anyway gonna tell the head of phils to keep an eye lmao #its a core unit for data science students and it has no intellectual credit to it AT ALL imo #its like what happens when ai starts producing more ai and we get deleted from existence and i was like what abt wages girl #im the problem tho

it still kind of haunts me that the night of the werehog short seems to be operating on different rules for how the werehog thing works even though it's likely supposed to take place during the game . why is that ...

#like in the game hes a hedgehog during the day and a werehog at night #but in the short . its already night at the start but hes in his normal form and doesnt change until he sees the full moon #and then we never see him change back even though the ending scene is set in the morning #maybe they just thought the story would work best like that i dont know #though i do remember hearing there was an early draft of the story where sonic Does change back and lah isnt impressed with his day form #i dont remember what the source was though so idk how true that is

cracking open “Are Women Human?” as a palate cleanser after reading Robert A. Heinlein

#this is only kind of a joke #in that I won't be breaking into Dorothy L Sayers just yet #but my STARS Robert!!!#I do not remember The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress being this bad. there are things I still remember and like about it.#so I was actually kind of excited to start this story #but then #but then the main character and his new female partner spent all of one day on a mission and one night reading files in a library #and suddenly she's kissing him?#(I did appreciate how every time she's searched or unpacks or anything we rediscover her arsenal. that's actually fun)#I cheered when the aliens starting killing people because at last we could care about the women #instead of identifying them according to how likely the main character is to sleep with them #(naturally the plot first found an excuse to strip a room full of secret agents)#also the narrator is objectively bad #looking at all of this I probably should just give up #I spent the whole of my cleaning job rolling my eyes and muttering under my breath (but persisting because I didn't have anything else)#I really don't care about the plot #I HATE the main character #on the other hand I always love to see predictions from old sci-fi about the future #it's cool to see what they assumed would stay the same and what would change--and how #it's 2007 and we have flying cars and fire-guns and the Iron Curtain is intact and Manhattan is a crater #we can change our faces in half an hour with some cool guy in a lab coat and I bet no one is layering three camis under a t-shirt #who knows #I'll come back to this tomorrow #2024 reading list #mine

I think turning 30 soon is freaking me out a little which is why I'm reflecting on high school...

#need to journal to unstick myself from the past and get back to the present #jeff turns 30 in 4 days and we've known each other since we were 18 #and our birthdays are opposite solstices so basically each others half birthdays (cute! but not the point)#so since he's basically exactly 6 months older i am officially over age.5 on his birthday and usually just start rounding up to age+1 then #so its like im 30 in 4 days but its not #i feel like ive been in my 20s for my whole life and cant imagine something different #i like being young and having much to learn #dont wanna feel like i should be old and know better #t #also full moon duh (3 hours later)

i had such a normal sleep schedule for so long what have i done wrong this time 😭

#fell asleep at 8pm #woke up at 1am #this is normal and healthy 👍#i thought my new meds were helping with that 😭 lmao #genuinely i haven't had this consistent of a sleep schedule since i was maybe 10 #i was sleeping mostly normally from january to june that's crazy for me #usually i rotate around the clock like a rotisserie #one day im sleeping at 12pm and waking up at 10pm #the next 1pm and 11pm #and so on #and it would do a full rotation about once a month like moon cycles #at the start of the month I'd be sleeping normally and then by the middle im nocturnal and then two weeks later normal again
