Writer tag game
I wasn’t tagged, but I saw the game randomly posted by another user so I want to play anyway! (red for fic links and blue for series links)
1. how many works do you have on AO3?
35 (and only one draft because I don't really like working on multiple projects at the same time)
2. what's your total AO3 word count?
395,306
3. what fandoms do you write for?
I write the most for Batfam, mostly Tim and Jason but usually, the whole fam (more or less) is also there.
I write a bit more for some other fandoms but there are only one or two fics for each (2021 Produce 101 - Chuang Zao Ying, Hollywood Undead (but these fics are not finished), Julie and The Phantoms (1 fic - finished), Arsenal Military Academy + The Legends (they are kinda connected in 1 fic) and I have like, one translation project too.
I'm hoping to write Star Wars fics one day too. Really like the whole time travel thing and Obi-Wan is my beloved.
4. what are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The Monster Under My Bed (The Monster Down The Hall)
"Back Away From Him."
if i lose everything in the fire, i'm sending all my love to you
Cold
A Pile of Sleeping Birds
5. do you respond to comments?
All of the comments, definitely. I really enjoy reading and replying to them and sometimes, I even come back to re-read the comments to feel validated 🤣
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I write angst a lot but I have a thing for happy endings. But if I look at the fics individually and not like, as a part of a bigger series, it might be i have so much to say but you're so far away. But if not just the ending but the whole plot in general, it can be any fic really (I would recommend Restless Heart Syndrome, And Now You're Home, The Monster Under My Bed (The Monster Down The Hall), and What The Heart Remembers).
7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
They all have some sort of happy endings (though some fics that are a part of a series might not but the series will have happy endings). But since all I have talked about is Batfam, I would recommend this from Julie and the Phantoms. I don't write romance often, but this is just a short soft, cute love story of two ghosts (Reggie and an OC based on his real-life wife) plus some humour in the band - ‘Cause I’m Not Too Far And You’re My Favorite Place. I was very satisfied with how it turned out and I still come back to re-read for my own enjoyment a few times so I hope you guys will give it a chance.
8. do you get hate on fics?
My most controversial fic would be Hold Me Close, Don't Let Go (Watch Me Burn) but it's not like people showed hate to me. They just didn't like the story and how I wrote it so there were some unpleasant comments. The newest one, I think I did well with my response. It's a rather heavy fic because I went through a really rough time when I was writing it (along with many others) so if you want to read it, be careful.
9. do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I don't. My fics are all rated G or T (mostly because of swearing and violence, and also some with suicidal theme or idealisation because I did have a really bad time).
10. do you write crossovers?
Just for two fandoms, Arsenal Military Academy & The Legends, because they share the same lead actor and actress so I thought it would be fun to write something about reincarnation. It's Then and Now, Forever and Always.
11. have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think I'm famous enough for that.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes, into Chinese, actually. It's The Monster Under My Bed (The Monster Down The Hall). The link to the translated fic is in the fic.
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Not really. I planned my current series How To Steal A Brother with my friend Den and she is also my beta-reader for this series but I still write all of the stuff, which she reads and corrects the mistakes for me later.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
That's hard to choose. I really like Robin (Dick Grayson) and Starfire. It was like my first ship ever because I watched Teen Titans as a child. I also like Marinette/Adrien, very cute but the secondhand embarrassment is not very healthy for me (at least she has gotten better at interacting with him). The Doctor (10th) and Rose was one heartbreak that got me crying like a baby in 8th grade.
So honestly, I don't think I can pick because those were the three that came to my mind first, but I still have like a few dozen left.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
The Hollywood Undead fic - When Gravity Pulls You In. It was a really fun idea but then I ran into a big writer's block and I haven't recovered for this fic. I have been writing for Batfam again but I doubt I can go back and finish this one (at least anytime soon).
16. What are your writing strengths?
I don't think I'm too good with dialogue but I do have a strength in describing and like some sort of metaphor (English is not my first language so this is a difficult question to answer). I don't know if this is also considered a strength but like I said, I don't really write many fics at the same time so I can manage them pretty well. Most of my fics are completed before I move on to another one.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Dialogue. And I forget a lot of stuff so I have to go back to the earlier part so the plot won't be inconsistent. And of course, I write in English, which is not my mother tongue, so sometimes, I lack vocabulary or my grammar can feel weird.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I mean, I would add translation or explanation very subtly in there. But I saw a Star Wars fic where the writer had like, floating texts or something for the conversations in Mando'a so like, I will research on that if I need to write in another language.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Batfam. Tim-centric.
20. Favourite fic you've written?
Damn, that's like asking a parent for their fav child on national television.
In terms of like, wording and metaphors and descriptions and all the technical stuff - And Now You're Home - because some of my fav paragraphs are in here. In terms of logic, time can never change for the flying bird under the summer sun because I went crazy with all the planning for the whole time-travel-but-nothing-changes-the-future thing. In terms of plot, i'm so out of touch with everyone, and everything's a blur to me. This was one of my earlier ones but when I came back to this earlier this year, I found it so enjoyable and fascinated. I couldn't even believe I wrote this one. But it is a part of a series so you might want to check out I've Got You Brother.
This has been fun and I have been shamelessly PR-ing my fics. I don't really know who to tag so anyone else who wants to play, go ahead and have fun!

Sirius Black, one of the most famous actors of the 20th Century. A womanizer of sorts. The media loves him, his family? not so much.
Wherever he goes, tragedy and drama follow. He's smart, he's cunning, he's charming, he's manipulative. He goes after what he wants and he always gets it.
He's had seven wives, or at least that's how the story goes. Everytime, he's pictured with some different woman. He never really manages to stay with the same one for very long.
He's never been one for subtlety. Always loud and obnoxious and transparent.
At least that's what the media thought of him.
An old Hollywood legend, friends- with the likes of James Potter, Lily Evans, the directors Mary McDonald and of course his own brother he rescued from their abusive parents, Regulus Black.
They're like a galaxy by themselves. Always revolving around one another. All of them stars, but Sirius burns the brightest.
Near the end of his life, he hires his godson to write his memoir. And so Harry Potter, son of James Potter and Lily Evans, writes the story of Sirius Black, his seven wives, James Potter and his "marriage" to Lily Evans and the peculiar case of Regulus Black.
The public goes crazy, naturally.
The book goes through Sirius' life. At first, how his parents were abusive, how Sirius learned the traits he mastered later to be a good liar, mostly as a survival tactic.
Harry has written about how eventually it got so bad, Sirius had to run away to his best friend's house. Fleamont and Euphemia Potter, both being in the film industry had no problem introducing James and Sirius as new talents. Nepotism gets you everywhere.
The book goes onto how Sirius starred in his first movie with James, something about two young boys during the World War. Sirius had finally found his calling. He loved it, the cameras, the attention, the articles. He absolutely loved it and he used his fame for everything.
After the release of his first movie, he gets a letter, just two words. Sirius, help. And so he does. Regulus was an adult by then, and yet unable to escape the grasp their parents had on him. So Sirius did what his baby brother asked. He helped.
The papers went crazy with that one. "FILM STAR SIRIUS BLACK KIDNAPS BROTHER FROM FAMILY HOUSE" It only makes Sirius laugh harder. Because the papers have always been wrong. There hasn't been a single thing in his life the Papers have been right about and if there was, it was because Sirius had laid all the answers in front of them, waiting for them to piece things together.
In any case, he continued his rise to fame. James' second movie was with an actress their age with flaming red hair and just as fierce a personality. James had been in love since the moment he laid his eyes on her.
Lily Evans had come from a poor background, with none of the connections Sirius and James had. And yet she'd proved herself multiple times.
They dated for a while in their early twenties, but it didn't seem to work out so they stayed friends.
Sirius' third movie, Regulus' first, was directed by a woman Sirius was first tongue tied around. Not in the romantic sense, Sirius had just never met a female director until then.
Mary McDonald was a force to be reckoned with. If Lily had been fierce, Mary was a whole different story.
As unprofessional as it was, they dated for a while. The papers had a field day with that as well. "MARY MCDONALD, DIRECTOR SLEEPS WITH ACTOR FOR CONNECTIONS"
Sirius never paid them much mind. He got what he wanted from Mary and so did she. When they eventually stopped dating because they figured out neither liked the other romantically, they continued to stay friends.
When Lily won her first well deserved award, they went out to celebrate. Just them. James drove, Sirius in the passenger seat, Regulus suffering in the backseat grumbling about how he'd rather be anywhere but there.
That's not to say the others weren't successful. James had girls wrapped around his finger, millions would literally throw themselves at him. And yet he never reciprocated, never went out with anyone after Lily.
He was a successful actor in his own right, films after films after films. He was a diverse actor, anything from biopics and romance to tragedy and comedy.
Regulus acted in plays mostly, though he did his own share of films. The public loved him, word on the street was- men mainly.
So they drove and drove to the middle of nowhere. Just Sirius, James, Regulus, Lily and Mary. Until they stopped at some shitty diner surrounded by nothingness as far as the eye could see.
That's where Sirius met Remus for the first time. Just a waiter, a snarky one that seemed to have no idea who they were and was downright rude to Sirius at times.
And still, they all came back. Again and again and again. When Mary won her first award for one of her films, when Regulus won awards for the musicals he starred in, when Regulus ditched theatre entirely and moved to music, when Sirius won his first golden globe- again and again and again. Somehow they always ended up in that diner.
Which is how Sirius found himself visiting the diner alone sometimes, just to get to talk to Remus in that small town where no one knew him. Which in turn is how he found himself in bed with Remus more times than just once.
So when Sirius won his first Oscar, he dedicated it to his Moony of course. And the public went wild as they had a reputation of. "ACTOR SIRIUS BLACK'S NEW SWEETHEART?"
It's not that Sirius hadn't dated before Remus. Hell, he'd even had a Vegas wedding with a fellow actress, a small wild fling with a famous singer and he'd lost track of all the women who wanted him. But this was different. As the times were, he knew the two of them would never be able to live as they wanted. Fame had given Sirius everything he wanted and yet it couldn't give him Remus.
They broke up, they made up, they got back together. Again and again and again.
Later, Sirius wondered why they wasted so much time.
Sirius caught James and Regulus in the bathrooms at the Grammys once. He'd groaned in disgust and made a huge deal out of it, teasing the two endlessly.
Regulus had been beetroot red even as he got on stage to collect his award. James had just hung his head in shame in the audience, only looking up during Regulus' speech where he thanked Sirius and "the sun" whatever that meant.
They were always in each other's orbit. Whether it was because James, Regulus, Lily and Mary wanted a child they decided to coparent, or simply because they were all just best of friends.
Remus didn't like the fame part much, but he tolerated it for Sirius' sake.
As always, rumors arose and so Sirius had to deal with them. He went in public, flirted with a few women, got into pr relationships and a few pr marriages over the following years.
His last marriage was to Mary, or rather his last legal marriage. Because in his heart, he'd been married to Remus as long as they'd been dating.
Fame trickled away, as it usually does. But they were immortalized for their works.
And now, after all of them had gone, Sirius would immortalize them for the right reasons. He wanted to tell the public their real story, not the one they had been acting in for decades.
And so Harry Potter wrote his book.

I cannot stop Disney from pulling things from Star Wars legends and sometimes when they do it correctly, I do enjoy it. However, that doesn’t change the fact that I have a huge issue with it, when they decide to take the direct name of a book or book series from Star Wars legends, and use it as the name for a movie that is not an adaptation of that book
New Jedi order is a 19 book legends series that I am currently reading. It follows, Han, Leia, Mara, the Solo children, and Coran Horn (plus a few others) fighting a war against the YuZahn Vong.
now, Disney is planning on naming their new Rey standalone movie (which I already have issues with that I won’t get into) you guessed it, new Jedi order. The exact name of the series no changes. Even if they bring the Yuzahn Vong into the movie, which mind you is not even confirmed. It is not meant to be an adaptation of the books. It was never advertised that way so now it just feels like they’re stealing from Legends and it makes it feel like even more of a ret con. I like things from both canon and legends. I like when they can work cohesively together. Obviously that’s not always possible and some of the things I enjoy. I have to keep separately. But when you just blatantly steal from Legends, it just feels backhanded and disrespectful.
it would not change much to just change things around a bit. I’m sure there is a way where you could have the movie title with the same meaning but not the exact phrasing. Also, I am in fandom spaces where we discuss legends and we talk about new Jedi order the series. It just adds unnecessary confusion if both have the same name that could be avoided.
And it just further worries me that Star Wars canon is going to get closer and closer to taking major plot lines from legends books, and turning them into shows and movies, but just replacing the characters. Well, I would love to see these plot lines. I just always feel a little bitter when the characters I love just get written out of the story. I know it’s difficult when the majority of the post return of the Jedi legends books follow the main trio from the original trilogy, and that wouldn’t really be logistically possible for a live action, Disney show or movie, so I’m not going to say it’s terrible that they’re continually leaning towards this, but I’m also not going to say that it doesn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth.
I’m sure not everyone agrees with all this but this is how I feel and I needed to get it off my chest
(there was also a rumor that Dave Feloni was planning a movie called Heir to the Empire, which would’ve been even worse because it’s named after a specific book and not a series and arguably the most famous legends book. I don’t know what happened with that or even if the rumor had any merit.)

OOC | The Citadel Ideas
ok so ive been daydreaming abt the land of stafford a good bit! and i have some thoughts id like to share!!
so, if we're using mont saint michel and/or st michael's mount (two diff but v similar places) as our inspo, i had some notions!! first, i think @thelongforgottenrealm had mentioned asp that stafford was located at the southeastern end of the country? or was that just in my imagination? anyway hahaha either way, if it is indeed on really ~any coastline a la the above references, perhaps it is also located on a tidal island where the tides make it sometimes accessible from the mainland, and sometimes not??? so its pr self-sufficient, and a bit of a feat to conquer bc a large vessel can't really besiege it bc its too narrow but at the same time a land army will literally be swept away in only a few hours' time etc?
regardless of the above, tho, im thinking it probs does more or less have the conical shape of mont saint michel/st michael's mount, but probs higher a la mont st michel? in fact, w the exception of the literal mountains of lorcan and kil-kennar, im thinking -- given the celestial ties of house stafford -- that the castle at the top is probs the tallest altitude in astaira? and certainly the tallest manmade structure in and of itself??
also that, when the sea washes in at night, that its super clear both re: the sea and the sky, and the water reflects back the stars so that you feel like, above and below, you're awash in an ocean of starlight???? and in the mornings a deep fog often swallows it up reflecting back the colors of dawn and basically its that ancient city-in-the-clouds motif, so you almost always feel like youre in the sky when you're at stafford???? and that its got this aurora borealis action too and just <33333 magical ~amongst the stars~ vibes <333333
also thinking abt how we said that the stafford swords might be meteor blades as well as the legend of how mont st michel was founded, and maybe, according to legend, the ancient ancestors of house stafford took a page out of the three wise men's book and followed three shooting stars to the spot. where they landed, they founded their citadel and turned the remnants of the three glittering stars, fallen to earth, to the three celestial blades famous of their house!
im thinking too that -- inspired by mont st michel and its historical building/collapse/rebuilding thing, that perhaps, at the pinnacle lies the ruins of the og keep, its great domed vault collapsed so that its now open to the stars and lowkey a kinda observatory kinda thing now???
also!!!!! im not done!!!!1 ;DDDDD what if, this being astaira, theyve got a hanging gardens of babylon kinda thing going, given the potentially? conical shape etc, where the whole place is a green garden, overflowing from one terrace to the next, where flowering trees and shrubs and even lakes and creeks (inspired too by eze) flow and just!!!!!! v idyllic (at least pr!roderick who knows now alksjdfkljdf)
finally, idk how up you guys are on the full history of mont saint michel, its various parts in wars w the english, its supposedly haunted situation, the angel supposedly having appointed its creation, its falling and rebuilding again and again in the early middle ages, the fact that it repelled one of the greatest generals to ever live, henry v, and stood proud and impregnable for centuries, its status as a center of pilgrimage and a sea port supposedly protected by st michael himself, its involvement in the theft of relics and reliquaries, its status as one of the worst jails in france after the hunted monks were expelled and it had fallen almost to ruin via the revolution its rebuilding, and so many other bits and piecees, but i thought we might also take some inspo from that esp re: roderick, too!
anyway some pics etc of st michael's mount and eze since ive got specific points abt them and they're more obscure than the hanging gardens/mont saint michel etc so i wasn't sure if i was making my point so well hahaha! anyway you can find them below the cut bc yeah idk if i described any of these things well at all!
EZE
so you guys may know all abt eze idk, but id never heard of eze before i went there. its on the french riviera, near monaco, and its a JAW DROPPER!!! its this medieval town w tiny, winding streets but it in no way feels oppressive bc every turn reveals a new tree and a constellation of bright flowers, and vines cheerfully winding all along the walls! and the ocean below is a shade of electric blue so brilliant it reminded me of our lizzy's eyes <3 terraced gardens are everywhere, and just when you think the dazzling sun is getting too bright you emerge into a covered alcove w a babbling fountain or lil flowing stream to delight and cool you, once supplying fresh drinking water to the citizens in the middle ages. cobbled stone paths form pretty walkways in patterns that ofen suggest -- i kid you not -- stars <3 the further you go, the higher you get but its all so gradual its not troubling at all and tbh you don't even realize how high you've climbed until you come upon a window (almost all the doors and windows are flung open so that inside and out are only concepts w everything open and breezy) and you find yourself at a jaw-dropping height from which you feel you can overlook the world entire, but even to someone like me -- terrified of heights -- there's no fear bc the mount holds you in a warm embrace and you do not fear falling
none of these pictures do it even a touch of justice but they might help give a sense of what i mean (couldn't find pictures of the sights from the tallest towers or of the streams and fountains and mosaics tho!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ST MICHAELS MOUNT
so i only realized that st michaels mount and mont saint michel were different places a couple years ago ngl lakjsdfkjldsf and i haven't been here so ill just present pics! but its got a port to one side bc the water's so deep there but part is so shallow you can walk across at low tide bu inaccessible at high tide! its got this ring of terraced gardens, its oldest parts are built almost like an organic structure, growing out of the rock, and the waters reflect back the sky when they're calm

I saw your post from 2020 about your Four Quadrants and I absolutely love them! I have wanted to get into Chesterton for a while but have never actually done it bc I have no idea where to start. I decided that you’d be likely to know where I should start based solely on my relating so much to the rest of what your post said. Do you have recommendations?
There are several answers to this question, depending on what type of writing you're interested in, because Chesterton wrote in a lot of different formats.
Novels: My favorite (and the one that feels most "Chestertonian" in the sense of embracing the joys and paradoxes of modern life) is Manalive, which is about a boarding house full of disaffected young people whose lives are upended by the arrival of the energetic and eccentric Innocent Smith, who may or may not be a dangerous lunatic. I'm also fond of his first novel, The Napoleon of Notting Hill, which is set in the far future of 1984, where the actions of two eccentric guys get London caught up in medieval warfare. That book addresses Chesterton's common theme of the tension between taking life too seriously and not taking it seriously enough, but it is a very odd book that's a bit more of an acquired taste.
Short stories: Chesterton's most enduring legacy in pop culture is the Father Brown mysteries--one of the few detectives at the time that wasn't just a Sherlock Holmes clone. These stories are half mystery and half philosophical essay, and I love them (and they're nothing like the TV show). I always tell people to start with the first collection, The Innocence of Father Brown, because the first four stories there--"The Blue Cross", "The Secret Garden", "The Queer Feet" and "The Flying Stars"--form an arc that should be read in chronological order, and the rest of the stories can be read in pretty much any order.
Poetry: Chesterton's big achievement is "The Ballad of the White Horse", a novel-length epic poem about the legends of King Alfred the Great and his war against the Danes. But if you don't feel like reading something so long, his other masterpiece is "Lepanto", a stirring poem about the Battle of Lepanto that saved Europe from a Turkish invasion (though that one is much better if you know the historical context). He also wrote this short, rather biting anti-war poem "Elegy in a Country Churchyard".
If you want something not about war, Chesterton was known for his love of Christmas, and he wrote several excellent Christmas poems, including "A Christmas Carol", "The Wise Men", "Gloria in Profundis", "Joseph" , and "A Child of the Snows".
(As long as we're talking about Christmas poems, I'm going to mention that his wife, Frances, was also a poet, and she wrote a Christmas poem every year for their family Christmas card, which include, "How Far Is It To Bethlehem" and "The Shepherds Found Thee By Night".)
Essays: Tremendous Trifles contains several of the humorous, insightful essays that are among the first things I think of when I think of the Chestertonian mindset, including "A Piece of Chalk", "The Advantages of Having One Leg", and "On Lying in Bed" . Perhaps my favorite Chesterton essay, "On Running After One's Hat" isn't in this collection, but feels like it should be.
Nonfiction: "Orthodoxy" is probably Chesterton's most famous and most accessible religious book, which outlines the worldviews that led him to embrace Christianity.
This last recommendation doesn't fit into any of the categories, but I can't finish a Chesterton introduction post without begging you to read this letter he wrote to his wife, Frances, not long after their engagement, because it may be one of the best love letters ever written.

Hello again! @the-invisible-introvert-2004 Because this time my brain was still racing with excitement. So I will continue writing about Fidelza's aunt. and his bodyguards, and let's get to know their names.
Tumblr media
(Thank you for the picture from SB @newmria from X. You can follow her. My sister drew it for me.)
First row :
Firmin Jean
french
ErrorEffect /EE(name of our novel's special power) : Pause.
Type: Floy (I'll explain it later when I write the history of this story)
Ability: When touching a living creature or human being (only), the target person will be "paused" of their movement until Firmin will unleash the power of EE. He is the first mercenary hired and becomes the head bodyguard for the current CEO of Allmind Company.
Firmin is a quiet person who speaks when asked. He is loyal to the organization, earning him the nickname Agent Smith because he always wears sunglasses. He also has the ability to cook food at the level of a 5-star restaurant and has excellent close-quarters combat skills. He respects the CEO so much that he is nicknamed “The CEO's favorite dog” If the CEO wants to make something disappear, he can make the problem disappear as well.
There are rumors that Firmin and the CEO are probably secretly dating each other. Firmin lives with the CEO because he was hired to protect the CEO's niece (Fidelza Hunter), which is...somewhat true, but not related. Because Firmin is the only one who has feelings for the CEO, because he is too afraid that he will be a "psychopath" because his cell phone has secretly taken pictures of the CEO, filling up the phone's memory.
Oya/Oney Rosalind
African
EE: N/A
Oya or Oney was a female warrior from an ancient tribe in Africa. (A fictional tribe in my novel) She and all the warriors were hired by The "mysterious organization" asks people to help fight in the war of judgment according to the tribe's beliefs in exchange for water and food to survive the vultures in the village. Unaware that the “mysterious organization” is a terrorist who wants to blame the tribe for the Peace Tower bombing. (You can think of it as 9/11.)
Oney was one of the few survivors of the explosion and the collapse of the building. before being sent to prison After that incident, the people of the world and the relatives of the deceased wanted to erase her tribe from history until now there were only 20 families left and wandering refugees. Oney became the bodyguard of Allmind's CEO, according to a survivor's testimony. who spoke of survival by she protected them with her body, While she was seriously injured, she had scars all over her body.
The company's CEO paid bail (and bribed some officials), and Oney was freed and came to work as a secretary. combined with the ability to organize schedules makes CEO who doesn't want to have problems with CPS regarding the niece who required psychiatric treatment at that time was able to take the niece into care. Oney also serves as a consultant and interpreter in the native language for the CEO when he travels around Africa, thus receiving an additional salary.
Fidelza Hunter liked the legends and stories of Oney's tribe very much and often asked her to tell her legends and folktales. Oney is a woman of few words. and was not good at expressing emotions because of the emotional pain of seeing so many people dead in the building collapse incident and news of the extermination of her own tribe herself didn't know that she was being flirted by her colleague.
Second row:
Fidelza Hunter
(Since we already know about her, we'll pass!)
Victor Radnar or Mr. Vic
American
EE : N\A
Victor Radnar, or Mr. Vic, is Fidelza's mother's younger brother. Ragnar's heir and the current CEO of Allmind Company He is considered to be the most famous and youngest billionaire in history. before becoming CEO and receiving wealth from the Radnar family circle Mr. Vic met with contempt. Physical and verbal abuse This makes him hate people with special powers who abuse their power and power. (He doesn't hate everyone with special powers.)
Because he doesn't have good human relationships with other humans. (He prefers to stay in his office 24/7) so he hires mercenaries. and former prisoners of serious crimes become their own people so they can spend time with his own niece to prevent CPS from taking niece from him. Because he knew who had kidnapped his sister (Fidelza's mother) but had no evidence.
Mr. Vic is a workaholic who is so focused on his work that he can survive on coffee. and instant noodles Fidelza is worried, so she always takes care of Mr. Vic's coffee intake. However, he has little interest in the opposite sex because he is gay. (One of the reasons why he was bullied while in school until university) thus causing Vic to not easily open up to anyone, even to his niece, who is his only remaining family. except for my own sister
Ms. Vic is also aware of “him” (who is “believed” to be Fidelza's imaginary friend) and is upset that her niece is dating a long-distance boyfriend. But because he saw that his niece was happy with a healthy relationship, he chose to keep an eye on his niece's boyfriend. And secretly planned the murder of Lev King with his accomplice, Firmin. But at this time there was no satisfactory murder plan, so Lev King's head had not yet come off his neck.
Last row:
Asmon Saika
german
EE : Stamina
Type : IGES
Abilities: When using her special powers, Asmon can use her stamina for 3 hours, but cannot make her power increase, so she uses her special powers for speed instead. This allows her to run almost as fast as a Formula 1 car. But when in this special power, the body will release a lot of heat from the spine. She couldn't wear shirts or shoes (Asmon always wore shirts showing off her back) because the heat would melt most of her clothing.
Asmon is hired by Vic as a driver because of her knowledge and ability to drive fast cars. And Mr. Vic is looking for volunteers to test out the company's new equipment. (Allmind is a major technology development company that has made the Ragnar family world-class millionaires.) Asmon wears a special suit under the CEO's driver's uniform for emergencies.
Asmon is a bright and cheerful young woman. But she's insecure about her height (she's 143 centimeters tall), so she likes to look at magazines that sell high-heeled shoes in order to be as tall as Oney. But she often forgets because she is more interested in car engines. Most of the money was spent maintaining the CEO's car's engine and customizing her motorcycle. Asmon is the one who notices that Firmin "might" have a crush on Vic, so she often bothers Firmin about this. But it's not because she secretly likes Firmin. But because she wanted to blackmail him. Which at present has not been successful at all.
Jungkun Inis
Half-Korean and half-Irish
EE : Filter
Type : Floy
Ability: Can create illusions of people, animals, or things that the target cannot see or see. But when touched, the “filter” will disappear. and can also trick the eyes of CCTV cameras or photographs and a video camera that records events that occur when using "filters" as well. Jungkun was once an official who was allowed to use special powers in public before he was arrested for attacking an employee.
He was also suspected of falsifying evidence, causing him to be sent to prison while awaiting trial. So he got to know Oya or “Oney” (he called her Oney because it was easier) and when Oney received a job from Mr. Vic as a secretary. She introduced Jungkun to Mr. Vic, who accepted a job as a makeup artist. (Mr. Vic's face is very tired from lack of sleep, causing him to have to hire a makeup artist when appearing in the media or attending social events.)
He was then bailed out by Mr. Vic and came to work at Allmind Company as well as Oney. causing him to try to flirt with her But because he's not good at romance, he doesn't do anything that seems romantic. As a result, he often buys her gifts that make him think of Oney. Like the brooch pendant that Oney currently wears while working and is the only piece of jewelry she wears regularly because she likes it. And because he knew that Oney was not good at expressing herself,so he was not in a hurry to confess his love either. So only Fidelza and Asmon sat and waited for the ship to continue sailing.

I'm a swiftie, but each time I see someone pretend Taylor has reached MJ's level of absurd fame, I kinda wanna die. The second-hand embarrassement is too much for me. The man was called the king for a reason.
And it's funny how many artists will see their fans compare them to Michael and immediately try to find a polite way of saying "Don't set me up for failure like that." They probably learned by seeing MJ fans tear arrogant fuckers a new one after disrespecting Michael.
Taylor Swift will literally never ever be on Michael Jackson’s level of fame or success lol.
He is untouchable, he is the KING of music.
And why would swifties even want this for her anyway? If you’re old enough to remember MJ, you’re old enough to remember what they did to him and how his fame treated him. Why wish that on someone you admire?
And quite frankly, Taylor Swift is not as talented as Michael Jackson. He could outperform her any day of the week, and I have no doubt he could’ve done so if he were still alive rn. The Jackson’s were dirt poor. All they had was an idea, and some hope, and a lot of dedication. Michael Jackson was performing before the late night strip teases as a child. Strip clubs were some of the only places that let them perform as black kids! The Jackson’s changed the world. They are true American legends and icons. And they deserve every bit of it.
Michael Jackson clawed his way to the top in a society that said he couldn’t. That he never would. That he was nothing compared to white artists. But he made them eat their words. To compare him to a white woman who never struggled like that, who never had to compete twice as hard just for the color of her skin… it’s genuinely insulting. And Taylor Swift herself would never in a billion years say she is bigger or better than him.
If it weren’t for Michael, the world wouldn’t be what it is now. Music wouldn’t be what it is. His impact on history cannot be ignored or diminished. So when I see people say shit like this post
Tumblr media
It really fucking pisses me off. Michael Jackson’s fame isn’t “nostalgia”. It’s historical fact. He was and is still the most famous human that has ever lived. More famous than Jesus Christ. The man was a god in his own way.
And if it weren’t for him, these music artists today wouldn’t exist. And that includes Taylor Swift. He is the king, and they are his followers. Not the other way around. And MJ fans don’t take kindly to the disrespect these days bc we’ve been too nice for too long and we’re sick of it. Put respect on his name.
Taylor was not and is not nor will she ever be statistically bigger, either. MJ was a global star, and by global I mean literally known in every corner of the world. Including by tribes in the Amazon. His death caused a cease fire in war, over a billion people publicly mourned him and held funerals in their cultures for him, he was beloved to so many. People don’t just love his music. They love him as a human. He taught us to have hope and to never stop dreaming, but more than that he taught us to love each other. Long before Live Aid. It was Michael Jackson that united the world in ways no one else ever will. He will always be beloved and he will forever be deeply missed.

✨️author ask tag game✨️
Tumblr media
✨️Feeling Extra today! Will choose to Focus on Crater City, but any future Author Tags shall be diverted to the next WIP in line✨️
Tagged here by @mariahwritesstuff! Much obliged :’)
Tagging these fine contestants: @doublegoblin @forthesanityofsome @lyralit @frostedlemonwriter @asterhaze @lostneedcoopcake @writernopal @an-theduckin @sabels-small-sphere
...
(1) What is the main lesson of your story (e.g. kindness, diversity, anti-war), and why did you choose it?
>> Free will is good 👍
>> Just because you can doesn't mean you should
>> Give life your own meaning
>> The dangers of being politically apathetic
I think these are self-explanatory! I think!
(2) What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding (like real-life cultures, animals, famous media, websites, etc.)?
Kind of expanded upon this a bit, oops
For the world-building, I'm inspired by things such as Fallout New Vegas, Night Vale, and real life. Music: tends to be a mixture of classic rock + alt + vapor wave + whatever I think is nice tossed in a dryer and pummeled to death.
For more world-building + story-telling/pacing, I am very much Inspired by these webtoons:
>> Solid State
>> The Prince of Southland
>> Lovebot
>> Electric Bones
When I tell you to go check these webtoons out, I mean Go Check Them Out because they're the reason I still have the app!
For characters, they are named/inspired by objects and it just kind of stuck until their names got rearranged. Everyone generally has a symbol/color assigned to them, idk it's probably synesthesia to some degree. But it helps me categorize things + it fits their vibes. To name a few:
>> Blair: heart, red
>> Elijah: star, yellow
>> Darcy: moon, cobalt
>> Melony: Venus flytrap, bright green
I could rant all day about their vibes and mood boards! But we only have so much attention span on this single post, yeah?
(3) What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, help readers grow as a person?
Blair wants to prove to himself and others that he has worth and a purpose even though others/the government thinks otherwise.
Elijah wishes he could stop running from his problems and just ask for help, but that's kinda hard if [SPOILERS]. Yeah, so that's kind of a Huge bummer.
No one cares what Darcy wants. He's mean. (Any fanletters addressed to him that wind up in Frasier's pile get promptly thrown away.)
Aside from that, I've always wanted to inspire others through my work but kind of implicitly. Or like “oh have you seen that one story it's so wild” in an obscure way. Not really in a cult-following way, but like an urban legend or classic story kind of way. I would like to drop my story into the world and disappear without a trace, hehehe
(4) How many chapters is your story going to have?
42
(5) Is it fanfiction or original content? Where do you plan to post it?
Original content! Due to its Nature, I'm planning something Much Larger than a typical novel layout. Somewhere online... or somewhere else in a Metaphysical sense. Or implanted in everyone's heads as a distant memory of what could've been, hehehe
It all comes down to if I will ever be able to code as great as Elijah someday (we both hold ourselves to very high Standards, you know).
(6) When and why did you start writing?
I started writing this story July 27, 2022. Oh wait, that date has passed, it's now been a year!
But it's ok, I often forget my own birthday.
I started writing because I became fixated on the idea of just some chill guy in a hectic world then ran with it, and here I am a year later, still as obsessed with these hooligans as ever. I like the seemingly dumbass hero and intelligent villain trope, I suppose.
(7) Do you have any words of engagement for fellow writers of Writeblr? What other writers of Tumblr do you follow?
I tend to follow accounts that inspire me to write or become a better person in general. This can range from being a better writer to positivity to pushing myself to get up and be productive because lord knows I need some good ol peer pressure to jumpstart my brain.
The parting message:
Remember why you're writing. Keep your reasons somewhere you can see it, like a sticky note on your mirror. It can be a motivation/goal as simple as “because it's what Younger Me would have wanted to see.”
Also, Please organize your files/notebooks. Future You will be so thankful for that. Don't be like Blair and cover each page head to toe with multicolored pens, highlighters, and diagrams. Be more like Frasier, stay organized:
Tumblr media
Blair has provided us with a Bonus Illustration for the readers whose attention has spanned thus far, Huzzah!✨️
...
🚗 Want to rot your brain with each sporadic Crater City post? Join the taglist! Maybe I'll finish this wip someday, who knows! (ask to be added/removed): @writeouswriter @lyra-brie @digitalsatyr23

I always find it so hilarious when jedi antis version of a fix it is to send their jedi fave to mandalore to “prevent brainwashing” like babes…. you really think the die hard warrior culture famous for infighting and accusing each other of not being “real mandalorians” based on minute differences is gonna welcome free thought and questioning of their ideals? Like I’m not even anti mandalorian or whatever, but the tendency of jedi antis to worship mandalorian culture just baffles me. Granted, I’m not super familiar with legends!mandalorians, so perhaps someone more familiar with Star Wars lore like @gffa could elaborate but from what we see in canon, mandalorians tend to stubbornly stick to their dogma regardless of the circumstances before them and are pretty resistant to change, something the antis constantly accuse the jedi order of being.

Let’s Talk about a little thing called fan-fiction.
You know, the type of story you write using already famous characters? You can rewrite the ending, add in new characters, change the outcome of the story, or even adapt the characters into another story. The possibilities are endless to what you can write. That's what I like about it.
I have been writing fan-fictions for about five years now. At first, I used to do them just for me, just for fun. But then one day, I decided that if I want to become a professional writer, I should take the time to publish what I write. Even though I do not profit from fan-fiction, I receive something much more valuable than money for sharing my work: people can see what makes my creativity unique, I am able to express with my style of writing, and whenever I see reviews or feedback, I figure out ways I can improve my writing and think outside the box for new ideas. Even the greatest writers have room for improvement.
But one thing I really have found out in writing my fan-fiction is that sometimes, it can be helpful in developing your original characters.
There are many ways you can do this:
Research various genres to figure out which one suits your character based on various characteristics you may already have determined (Ex. appearance, personality, goals, talents/skills, etc.)
Rewatch a movie/show, or read a book that might have inspired you to create your original character, then brainstorm how you might incorporate them into a fan-fiction with some of the characters from that story.
Using what you already have determined about your original character, choose a particular story that intrigues you, and rewrite the story as a fan-fiction in which you add your original character, and then it is up to you to determine how the story and your character's development is impacted by what happens in the story, or what you think should have happened.
The way I did mine was in a manner of doing the last one. You see, I have always loved creating fantasy characters. Talking magical horses, warrior princesses with special powers, guardians of magical artifacts, etc. But then one day, I watched Star Wars. My favorite parts of the franchise are the Original trilogy, the Prequel trilogy, and of course Clone Wars and the Bad Batch, and as much as I like how it was originally written, once I saw the prequel trilogy, I really thought the character Anakin Skywalker deserved a happier ending. So, I got to thinking: why don't I rewrite the story myself? Thus, I began writing fan-fictions.
As a writer, though, creativity cannot be rushed, as ideas are like seeds: they need time, care, and nurturing in order to grow. I wasn't sure how I would rewrite a happy ending for Anakin, so I did some research by reading other fan-fictions, and it turned out a lot of other fans agreed that Anakin deserved a happier ending. Like any aspiring artist, I wanted to be fresh, original, standing out from the crowd. So, I started to think about how much I like fantasy stories, and I liked sci-fi too, so... why not challenge myself and combine them both?
I had heard some folks say that sci-fi and fantasy can never mix, but I decided to take that as a challenge. Thus, I took some original characters I already had, made a few minor adjustments to help them fit in a little better with the Star Wars universe, and soon, I created my very first fan-fiction: Legend of the Jedi Princess: Enchanted Jedi Rise.
(Also available on Wattpad. GeminiRose22)
Over the years, I have challenged myself in rewriting the story, as well as incorporating my original ideas to help my characters, the home worlds I have created for them, and my writing skills develop. And I am proud to say that it is thanks to these people who wrote these stories that inspired me to write my own stories that I have been able to learn and grow as an author, and someday I hope my characters and their original stories will be able to inspire and entertain readers everywhere.
