Changed some parts about Leopardfoot in the Tigerclaw's family tree, as i found some problems with how i writed about how she raised Tiger, so i changed it.

One thing that has always sorta bothered me about The Last Hope is the scene where Tigerstar congratulates Brambleclaw for killing Hawkfrost.

I know it's supposed to be some shocking show of how bad he is that he celebrates his own son's death, trying to upset Brambleclaw by rubbing in the fact that he destroyed his brother's spirit and all that, but it makes his character seem...flat?

I think it would have been way more interesting if Tigerstar was dismayed. Genuinely dismayed and upset that he lost his son, that Brambleclaw killed his own brother not once but twice. He still rubs in the fact that Brambleclaw is a killer, but it's more unintentional, a result of Tigerstar snapping at him for doing it.

In The Prophecies Begin Tigerstar was evil yes, but he still actually cared about his kits and even if Hawkfrost was never his favourite son, it would have been nice for Tigerstar to mourn him? Especially after all the time they spent together in the Dark Forest.

Thinking about how Tigerstar’s “true love” is Sasha yet his favorite child is Brambleclaw

Hawkfrost is Sasha’s son, Brambleclaw isn’t.

When Tigerstar looks at Brambleclaw he sees only himself, there’s no Goldenflower in him.

However, each time Tigerstar looks at Hawkfrost, he’s staring into Sasha’s blue eyes.

Tigerstar went against the very beliefs he killed others for when falling in love with Sasha. Sasha brought out his hypocrisy & that weakened his authority.

Hawkfrost was born out of an affair Tigerstar would consider shameful & sinful. Tigerstar killed Stonefur for being a half-clan cat. He tried to kill Stormfur & Feathertail for the same thing. And he HATES Kittypets.

And yet, he made Hawkfrost. His own little half-clan demon that he fathered on a Kittypet.

Brambleclaw was bred to be his perfect son. Goldenflower was nothing but a “proper” womb for his “heirs”.

Tigerstar may have loved Sasha as much as someone like him possibly could, and I believe a small part of him loved Hawkfrost as well, or at least wanted to, he kept him by his side after all

but Tigerstar’s ego can’t allow him to love anyone more than he loved himself, his pride, & his ambition.

Brokentail is a molly in this AU, and many see her cruelty to kits as a twisting of the natural nature of mollies. (They are wrong to some degree, as many a molly has no motherly inclination and there's NOTHING wrong with that) The discovery that Yellowfang was her mother would have driven her mad, if she had not already been dying of deathberries. The Tyrant Thistleclaw used the Dark Forest training to communicate with his former apprentice throughout their lives. He killed the dog that threatened the street cats, and ruled Bloodclan with a bloody fist. (his death has left a power vacuum) Voiced by Jeremy Irons
