The last thing Chase had been expecting when he had met Star was for them to get so close as quickly as they did. Of course, he planned on being her friend if she seemed nice, but it felt like they had an instant connection. It was so easy for them to talk to each-other, the awkward feeling of a first meeting going away pretty fast.

So her coming over occasionally turned into them going out for lunch, or Chase going over her house. Then it turned into Star joining on the film shoots, the two having just as good chemistry on-camera as they did off-camera. But during all of this, Chase found how he felt around Star morphing and changing. The familiar butterflies slowly easing into him when he saw her, the way he couldn’t stop smiling at the sight of her own. And every time he made her laugh, it made his heart skip a beat.

It had been a while since Chase had fallen in love, but he knew the feeling well. And if he was honest, it scared him. Because Star was a great friend of his and the last thing he wanted to do was lose her. Plus, all of the things he was still dealing with, what if it burdened her? Or what if Anti didn’t approve? He was her mentor after all, and the demon treated his pupil like his daughter. On top of that, getting mixed up with Hell was something to consider.

So he decided to voice his concerns with Anti first, figuring that could at least answer one of those questions. Anti was one of his best friends after all, which meant he trusted his advice. That, and he didn’t want Chase asking Star out to happen behind his back. It felt wrong.

It was how he ended up nervously leaning in the doorway after getting himself a drink, watching the anime Anti had on for a few moments before speaking up.

“Hey… can we talk for a moment?”

Jackie was fully expecting Star to stop by at some point today. She always did, but he loved it every time. Not only did he just adore her, but she always had so many interesting stories. And sure, maybe he didn't understand all of them, but it wasn't like he'd ever dealt with humans. He was a protector, a fighter to keep his fellow angels safe in Heaven. He was the second rank, allowing two sets of folded wings behind him.

He was taking a small moment to himself before he needed to get to his post, having had a small training session before needing to guard the gates. But despite him needing to recover, the sight of his friend climbing the stairs made him smile wide.

Jackie never quite understood the strange feeling he got lately when he saw her, though. It made him feel this strange warmth in his chest, this fluttery feeling in his stomach. When Star came in the room, it was hard to not focus on anything but her. He never felt this before, but surely it was good, right? Someone they once knew was cast away for feeling something bad, but.. this didn't feel bad.

"Star." he greeted with a warm smile, watching her approach him. "Let me guess, you had fun with your human today?"

It wasn't unusual for Star to stop by and see Jackie once she knew it was about the time that he would be off duty. She spent a lot of her time down in the human world, looking over her assigned children over the course of the years, while he spent his up in Heaven. She was the lowest ranked angel, a guardian that watched over the lives of the innocent and tried to guide them along their chosen path. Star involved herself as little as possible, but a lot of her time was spent watching humans and seeing how they evolved. Since Jackie didn't get the opportunity to spend time down there, she often shared the things she learned with him.

This time, Star had a new discovery to share with Jackie, and she was excited about it. So she made her way back up to the gates of the place where her kind stayed, dress flowing as she took rapid steps toward the area Jackie was assigned to.

Angels followed a very strict code and very few ever strayed from it. Those who did were instantly met with consequences they would never forget, having their grace stripped away and their wings ripped from their backs. Those frightening threats were the reason Star kept a very big secret, guarding it with her life.

Feelings. For Jackie, specifically.

Not only was she an angel who was not meant to feel, but he was technically her superior. He was a protector who was very loyal to his kind, following the rules perfectly. If he ever found out about how she felt... she didn't know what would happen.

So instead, Star kept things to herself, deciding to just enjoy this sort of friendship they had and telling herself that it was enough. As long as she had him in her life, she could be satisfied.

Ayo so... its been a while huh?

Concepts i had for a bad end friends comic series, not really working on it for now cause, i wanted to keep it as a personal project of me and only me in charge. And im kinda busy rn with other projects like trying to learn how to do music and such, and i also have to work on school.

But for now i can give you the basic idea i had: this mfs live in a house in the middle of nowhere all together. It was gonna be more a comedy than rather a, really serious thing you know? Like silly comics-shorts of them trying to get along, cause i though like the part i mostly like of BEF is the idea of this characters interacting with eachother in the context they are, of being all failed heroes. It might change and i may add more BEFs to the project like TKO, The red leader, Pink steven, etc. But for now this is the main cast.

Does Heartstar/Tigerstar II have thalassophobia(fear of deep water/drowning) would certainly make sense given his family's entire Deal with the lake. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The desire to CinemaSins Ding poetic imagery is the death of visual metaphor and the bane of creativity. Kill the impulse. The moonpool is as deep and clean as it needs to be in spite of being canonically a stillwater pool and logically full of algae and microbes. Magic cat god water, full of StarClan Magic (tm)

We do not need to see the cats fishing Rowanstar's body out, or an accurate estimate of pool depth, or its PH level. StarClan's emotions do wonderful things when miracles occur. A wizard with a big pool cleaning net did it.

Unexpected Discoveries (Closed Rp)

Chase started out okay this morning. He had a slight headache the night before that lasted until he woke up, but he figured that with some good old relaxation and self care that it would go away. It could just be that he needed a bigger breakfast, or needed to drink some more water. That should help it some.

Usually Chase assumed it would evolve into something worse like it sometimes did, but he couldn’t have that today. He and Star planned to hang out today while they both had a day off and he was not about to cancel on her over something that might be a little headache. They were just having some quality time, so it was nothing too energetic anyway. So he didn’t cancel, instead just making sure he ate well and stayed hydrated, as well as having a painkiller to see if it helped.

And for a while, it worked. When Star came over, Chase was happy he didn’t cancel. The headache was nearly gone when she showed up. But as the time passed, he felt the pain start to creep up and up again. But he wasn’t about to kick her out, nor was he planning to go lay down while she was still here. So he decided to just try and hide it, doing what he could to keep this to himself.

Right now he was coming back with their tea that he offered to make, setting it down with a smile and looking over at her.

“For you, madam.” he teased with a soft chuckle.

What is a Draco? You've likely seen a little about them from my sister's post here! We share the same AU, so our stuff ties together!

So let me explain! They are a Kirby species of dragon from Tessa's comic series "Dreams of the Stars" and my series, "Starlight Dreamers"!

These galactic draconic creatures are known by many names, some of which include "Dream Dragons", "Dracos", "Dragons of the Stars", "Star Dragons", "Dreams of Loyalty" or "Dragons of Loyalty". Who knows, they may have many other titles in other galaxies and universes! Wherever you may find them, they're quite special!

They have many purposes, but tend to be few and far between to the public eye. They are loving, caring, and protective. Many have devoted their eternal lives to protecting the stars from Nightmare's darkness, fighting Demon Beasts and other evils. Others, devoted to guarding and guiding the people of these worlds– be they seen or not. They're very big, but typically gentle to those that stand for good. Many Dracos follow a code based on that of the Knights of the Stars, making them wonderful friends and allies to Knights and Warriors.

They have many skills and abilities, as well! Be they masters of common or Super Abilities, or have Abilities never seen before; they grow stronger as the centuries go by. These galactic dragons are immortal by age, but are not unsusceptible to illness and death. But damn, are they hardy!

Once they die, their bodies fall to glittering stardust, leaving eternal flowers where they fall.

Some say Alphas with a strong core and a will to live can reform from the stardust before they pass, giving them second chances... Not many know if its true.

While they share the physical build and similar capabilities with other breeds of dragons, one of the things that make them so special is the ability to traverse space carried aloft by the stardust that makes up their physical forms, and the incredible loyalty that fills their core. They are ethereal creatures on the inside, made of very special magic. So while they might seem mortal, they're far from it. Simply? They're of a similar make as Demon Beasts, but full of light, dreams, and stardust. To identify a Draco the easiest, all of them have a star mark on their body that is essentially their version of a Warpstar. This star is their mark of loyalty and light, the place of their power.

On a lucky night, you might catch a Draco shooting through the stars, warping from one world to another! Either flying or running on a beautiful wake of dust and magic.

They are carnivores, but love eating most anything (don't worry, they don't eat people!). Gemstones and crystals are considered a wonderful snack! Their jaws are strong enough to break through rock, and their claws can shred metal. So be careful challenging one! They aren't typically hostile creatures, but they pack a punch if they must fight!

Most Dracos of the winged variety have feathered wings like that of a bird! And their bodies are usually covered in soft fur. Of course, it is possible to find a few decorated in scales and sporting a handsome pair of leather wings with feathers here or there. Oh, and their paws are usually very soft, because they like to keep their claws sheathed unless otherwise necessary! They come in three common body types.

They are highly intelligent, capable of speech and using technology and tools. So make no mistake, they are not pets. Much like dragons of old, they can shift their form to appear as another race entirely if they must hide or go into small spaces. This is why they are often hard to identify in public, as some prefer to go unseen. Most Dracos of old are too prideful to hide their true forms, though.

Lastly, Dracos that have reached a primal age of mastery and power can undergo special transformations known as "Alpha Forms" or “Charged Ascension”. Usually hundreds of years old- even thousands, these powerful Alphas have become one with their abilities, so it alters their form when displayed, and the source of their power– their star marks, will glow luminously.

Say a fire Draco becomes an Alpha through years of survival and training, their fire will engulf their bodies like that of a phoenix. Or a plasma Alpha, whose form can become cloudy like a storm, discharging powerful voltages of electricity from their bodies and through storms they stir in the skies! Their horns/antlers can change, too!

Dracos can be found spread throughout galaxies and universes, but tend to be rare… There are also those corrupted by strong forces of darkness called Dracomares. These creatures have fallen from their place as bright, guiding stars; their light now tainted to walk among Demon Beasts… Dracos and Dracomares, though the same species, are not to be confused for each other.

But that's not to say they can't be nice as well. It just depends on your luck and how they were raised. Some can be downright evil!
