"Where Dada ?" Little [Name] said with a confused expression.

"She's working, Dove." Jiaoqiu said while finishing cooking today's lunch.

Suddenly, little [Name] was getting fussy for a reason unknown to Jiaoqiu. So he asked :

"Whats happening, birdie ?" The foxian said while slowly putting a hand on [Name]'s head, patting them.

"Dada not here, Papa out... Why Always me 'n you, Ma ?" The little one asked with a sad look on their face.

Little drops of salty water started to form in their eyes, and Jiaoqiu decided to take [Name] in his arms, before explaining.

"My baby, Papa went to buy some food, im sure he will be back soon. As for Dada, she's working. But youre a smart one, you know that already, right ?"

Jiaoqiu's heart suddenly breaks as he hears little sniffles and feels droplets of water on his shirt.

"Why are you crying, sweet one ? We're all here for you. Althought Ma is gonna make sure they learn their lesson. We cant keep our little one sad, hm ?"

Jiaoqiu suddenly feels [Name]'s arms around his neck, hugging him back.

"Youre safe with us, little one. We love you."

tbh the main reason this took a lil while was cus i couldnt make a good banner thingy … everything red & blue was usa related T_T

𖤓 — sunday rarely calls boothill any sort of name (papa, dada, etc.) unless he’s super tired ; there’s always a small part of him holding back when he regresses

— boothill still refers to himself when talking to sunday, though, no matter the time ; “can you help papa clean up, please?” and the like

𖤓 — boothill calls sunday ragamuffin. not sorry

𖤓 — sunday is super snuggly & clingy, though it’s obviously a little difficult with boothill’s body — he most often nuzzles his cheek against his cg’s, chirping quietly

— although, boothill would totally have heating + cooling functions, so on colder or hotter days it’s easier to cuddle up close to him ( ◜𖥦◝ )

𖤓 — most of sunday’s actual little gear is from boothill, whether or not everything was paid for is its own thing

𖤓 — a lot of the time, boothill has to help sunday get into littlespace ,, maybe he knows it’s been a while since the little’s regressed and he’s been swamped with work lately (OR he’s just come back from a mission if we’re talking about express sunday) so he coaxes him to take a bit of time for himself

— while sunday may be a little stubborn, he gives in very easily. they do not talk about this outside of littlespace

𖤓 — boothill sends him voice memos instead of voice-to-text when he’s away n sunday’s small <3 telling him about his day or old stories from his own childhood

— sunday rarely gets to respond to these, since he most of the time ends up falling asleep to them (っ◞‸◟c) he’s very guilty about it the next day

𖤓 — boothill helps him with self-care !! helping him bathe (the most he can, while trying to avoid any mechanical mishaps) and brushing his hair, assisting with his back wings & getting him all pampered for bed

𖤓 — boothill’s main way of getting sunday to listen is through bribery … especially with sweet treats!! he keeps some on-hand whenever he sees him

𖤓 — sunday helped boothill learn some sign language when he wasn’t regressed, since it’s not rare for him to slip into babyspace; lots of bonding time ( ¤̴̶̷̤́ ‧̫̮ ¤̴̶̷̤̀ )
