I am SO glad we finally get to see at least some proper idea of Malleus' true form. Even after knowing what a certain someone else's true form was like, it was still hard to say how HE'D look: if he'd be "full dragon," for instance, or more like "scalier version of his usual self."

Mischaracterization in The Trolls fandom (And Fandom in General)

Some people miss the point of the character and that's okay. But what's not okay is being annoying about how much you misinterpret.

Some people need better media literacy. Because some people (not naming names), miss the point of Brozone entirely. The point is that they have flaws. But those flaws aren't their entire personality.

Some of y'all really compare what Creek did, to what the Brozone Brothers did

Creek: Helped in the attempted genocide of Pop trolls.

Brozone: Abandoned Branch.

Like....how are those even slightly comparable. But the real problem is the mischaracterization. IM SHOWING SOME POSTS. (IM NOT SHOWING WHO POSTED THEM BC I DON'T WANT THEM TO GET HARRASSED.) but this bitch missed the point so bad and is a hypocrite.

This kids is called an unreliable narrator.

BECAUSE YOU ONLY DESCRIBED CREEK ON THE SURFACE. Creek was a lying, manipulative asshole who did nothing but belittle Branch and try to get Poppy to abandon him. This only works because you cut out crucial details. Barely scratching Creeks deeds while hyper focusing on Brozones mistakes

The mischaracterization makes sense since the person had "Creek fan" in their bio. And the "Emotionally tearing him down" Bruce calling him a baby ONCE. And they DID feel bad AFTER BRANCH CALLED THEM OUT. So your point is completely wrong.

and this is what they wanted Branch to do as revenge. Idk what that means but.. it sounds like they wanted him to become an abuser. Like wtf. You're whole bio says you "overanalyze kids shows and movies". Like bitch huh? Not only is this completely out of character for Branch but have you ever heard 2 wrongs don't make a right?

Branch already got his "revenge" by rubbing it in his brothers faces that he joined a band. That's in character. BECOMING AN ABUSER IS NOT.

How can someone mischaracterize so hard and anytime this user was told about how they were missing the point. They throw a temper tantrum. There is no point reasoning with these kinds of people.

But this is a bigger problem. The "woobification" of Branch. He's not some "Sad Uwu Poor Baby 🥺" like some people will see a character with trauma and make it their entire personality. (I say that while Total Eclipse of The Heart is mainly about his trauma). And the demonization of the brothers, all of a sudden their some "Heartless assholes who twamatizewd Poor Wittle Bwanch🥺 and never showed any remorse.😡"

What's this then? 🤨

This is an issue for Fandom in General. People will mischaracterize so much that it ruins the original content

But before they can it hatched and bilbo is ABSOLUTELY taken with it and refused to let anyone hurt his wittle baby he plans to raise now (I mean he took in frodo he has major dad who stepped up vibes) and he just puppy eyes thorin and Gandalf and you know Gandalf is like hrumph! Thorin is all grumbly too but relents and is all keep it away from my gold so bilbo is all oh...I guess I gotta go ...and thorin is like uh well...we shall lock the gold up and put guards on it bc now his crush is way too important compared to the gold and you just see thorin taking more and more care of the baby bc it's what bilbo loves so much rn and eventually the baby dragon learns to speak and is like u wuv my daddy don't u and thorin is like 😶 .....and then baby dragon is like I will grow up big and take this mountain again like my evil daddy if u hurt my little daddy and thorin is like ...well ....at that point I couldn't get mad... anyway family of thorin bilbo & their baby dragon 💙

AWE HEEEELLLLLLZZZZ YEEAAAAA I DO 😈👏👏👏👏

when it comes to the 'lady knight Alice' version of Dragon!Norton this is what I've got~

-He was born a cute wittle dragon baby from an egg so I can have that cute wittle baby dragon content LOL (I need an excuse to draw baby dRAGONS) -His mom was out of the picture but his dad was there until Norton was 8 and could take a human form so he dropped him off with lameo human Benny for protection only for the dad to never make it back. -So Norton spent a LOT of his time human actually. But Benny not being a very good teacher at all and mostly leaving him to his own devices and found he had a knack for finding gemstones and precious minerals. Benny seeing the opportunities here and taking advantage. (Cause I am still sussy about Benny, I am throwing him down the 'he not okay' bin for using Norton -squints at Benny-) -as the years go by Norton is pretty run down from always diggin for gems and such. When 'old enough' he would be 'rented out' to help dig and search for Benny's 'friends' as well. They weren't his friends just people doing business with Benny and to get Norton to go with them he would call them 'friends' and how 'we always help our friends' 😑 and would always caution Norton to 'never ever show what you really are. Keep it all hidden' 🤡 so the main way he can protect himself is not an option, and if he doesn't realize his true worth and potential then he can't rebel 🙃. uhg I hate this Benny so much. -But there comes that time when Norton figures it out and the quiet rebellion begins and he can finally bring a mountain down on all the people who used him and then abandon Benny cause YEA 👏👏👏 -Him a big big dragon by the time of Alice rolls around. And he is causing all sorts of problems for any and all people who happen to live near where he decides to hunker down. He is not too keen on sleeping in caves and prefers laying in groves big enough for him and just out in the plains. But he does have a hoard and keeps it at the very top of a particular mountain so he doesn't have to be underground in any capacity. -His hoard is difficult to get to for peoples, but not impossible so Norton is sure to be aware of his stuffs. -He cannot stand people after the whole Benny fiasco, until Alice pops up and his is like 'she is interesting, not sure if I want to take her armor to gnaw on or if I want to actually know her' lol and that is when he starts using his human form again. -Since he had to spend so much of his growing up life in human form its like his dragon form is rebelling when he returns to human form again. Making his body hurt and feel uncomfortable when he is in human form for too long. And that is why that tail and horns of his keep popping out when his emotions are riled in anyway. -When he is upset steam shoots from his nostrils ppffff. It is so hard for him to hide that he is a dragon now, but if he doesn't feel safe, and can't reveal he is a dragon for whatever reason, then he is on his 'A-game'.

Hi, this is more of an ask than a request, but personally which yandere in one piece do you find the scariest and why? Which one do you think will be the best to be with?

On a personal level, any yandere that has strong connections to the WG are going to wig me out. They're already comfortable on some level to the celestial dragon's treatment of others and it's not a leap to assume they'd do similar things. It was a while ago but I did a broad ranking on who'd be easier to run from and obviously those well connected are going to have an easier time tracking you down if you left.

Folks like Doffy would definitely do some fucky shit like make you walk on your hands and knees or something. Assuming you manage to keep those limbs at all.

I actually don't tend to go into darker yandere stuff cause it's not a very comfy subject to me, but a lot of these characters would be... A little too comfortable liberating you of limbs or vital organs (looking at you Law, just cause they don't die doesn't mean it isn't fucked up you rip out their hearts). So a lot of characters are very unideal unless you get cool really quick about a lot of things.

And best to be with? Wildly depends on how chill you are with restrictions and punishments versus explanations and justifications. As well as general attitude. I wouldn't like sticking around someone that acts like I'm their new dog or a wittle baby who needs help with everything, as an example. I'm pretty chill but I suspect I'd quickly find my no tolerance zone with some characters.

The easiest to get along with would be devious bastards who have an answer for everything and are invested in maintaining an illusion of normalcy. They won't cut off fingers or toes for backtalk but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be assholes in other ways.

Or maybe I just don't like people enough to live with someone who has such control over everything. Also a possibility.

me at my kids today:

bard animal speaks to the spider holding the lil lizard boy (official nickname) hostage

turns out mama spider is just trying to protect her babies (she says something criptic about how to go up means to go down so they listen to the ranger-lizard)

on watch i give them a random chest which suddenly appeared. the fighter fire-breathed it, burning it to a crisp:

“Finders keepers, I saw it first so I get to burn it.” 

they get to the basement where they read another story

lore to be continued in detail but tldr; there once was a child named bastille who had everything he needed. he was never told "no." no one ever truly connected with him. so he took and took and took. first money, then books, then a child, then a dog... all gone.

so if anyone who reads this also completed the poll from yesterday, you will probably think: what the heck is bastille??

At this point I realized the only sane person in the group was the bard.

ranger goes to hug the monster and gets enveloped in a BIIIIIG hug :)))))))

and then... the creature starts to grow and change and morph, hundreds of faces, thousands of arms, eyes popping everywhere...

combat begins. i did NOT make this easy (5 attacks, plus 7 to hit, can deal over 50 damage per attack and nearly killed three pc's)

eventually they figuire out three things:

this is bastille

freely giving deals a shit-ton of damage

the only thing that does more damage is teamwork

they wittle his HP down through a series of lighting bolts (ouch), group vicious mockery (had to stop them from being insensitive and rude but they were quite funny overall), and basketball which 5 children destroyed me in

in the end, they are let with a small child made of smoke -- non corporeal. the cleric gently takes the crystal (the thing they need for the quest) and says that being able to give and take is healing.

im so proud of my children. they did good.

sooooo plan/poll for tmr: gotta get/make a monster based on vanity or self esteem (lack of + dragging people down). I need to get them on the track of compliments. i dont give a flip flop if they say this is mlp-core. the power of friendship is real <3
