star star star in the sky
please please teach me how to fly
im not a star i hope i can be i hope i can shine in star filled sea
in a sky full of stars would you chose me? would you see my glow? would you hear my pleas?
ill fall to the earth the sky is too good for me and i wont see the stars they'll always leave me and i won't be a star the chance left me

Look at the stars
Look at the stars
Specks of brilliance
strewn across inky black
An eternal
and untouchable presence
Look at the stars
Scribbled by messy hands
and wandering minds
Unique as the real thing
In the minds
of even the most bored
Look at the stars
Hidden everywhere in life
In the eyes of our most adored
In our veins, flows stardust itself
Look at the stars
In everything you touch
You will find a piece of a star
Or what remains of it
They are the very blood of the universe

Shooting Stars
Shooting stars are meant for wishes And yet, they are actually destructive. Balls of fire that are sought out, for unrealistic expectations
They shouldn’t be though Why put such pressure on something that’s existence is soon to end---
A shooting star's last thought should not be to please others--- it should be more hopeful It should be about what it may become
Don’t focus on the burning Don’t think about the end Don’t pay mind to people’s desires Don’t play pretend
I just think about the beautiful stardust I’m soon to be And how pretty I’ll look in that dark sky.
Starting to post my poetry here in hopes it will be enjoyed by fellow writers :3

I gaze at stars in summer night skies
At drawings of planets on brick classroom walls
They’ve been here so much longer than I
My life is a flicker, a blink of their eye.
I bask in cosmic insignificance on Thursday afternoons
Blood from cores of dying stars
Paints the water blue
Do you love me too?
When I stare at you,
Are you staring too?
Do the Gods of the sky
Ever turn their eye
To one so small in stature?
How could I hope for love to be cast
From the heart of a being as great and as vast
While I’m still unloved by my fellow man?
While on earth I’m a spark? A grain in the sand?
I wish I could be loved enough
To know such a love from a star
Caelum warm my frozen limbs
Antares kiss all my scars
But I sit here alone
In my tub of dying stars
I long for you peacefully
Love from afar
-Astronomer. (31.12.23)

You are a child of the cosmos
An offspring of fate
Stardust in your skin
And iron in your veins
Undeniably you'll never be the same
Never the same combination
Of a cosmic mix and match
You are a one in existence

There will never be another
So blind them with your presence
Young child of star descent
For none of u will exist once you have left

My Stars
You, Maggots, are my stars,
You are the light guiding me through the dark nights
The constellations I study to distract myself from where I am
I love you more than I can ever express
You are the sand that keeps the ocean afloat,
Or the roots of a tree in a storm,
The gravity holding my universe together,
Every star, one of your homes
I love you more than the universe's lust for destruction
I thought of where I wanted to be,
And I thought of you
In our homes
In our stars

The moon is bright tonight,
Silver and big.
Listen to the poets
As they compare it love.
Old and distant,
Always changing,
Forever remaining.
- -
The sun is strong today.
Hot and scorning,
But gives life.
Notice the poets
As they compare it to love.
Warms you to the bones,
As long as you are careful
Not to be burnt.
- -
The stars are bright tonight.
Little they are but many,
Always sprinkling and sparking.
Hold dear the poets
As they compare them to love.
Always overhead,
No matter how few,
They are the reminders of light.

I just learned about stars in my physics class
There’s something so poetic about how the biggest stars burn out quicker. About how the fusion that keeps them alive, eventually makes them unstable.
In a last attempt to survive the constant push of gravity they form iron inside of their cores; this makes them unstable. Despite the futility of it all, as gravity eventually always wins, they try nonetheless.
Not only that but when they go supernova, they form a nebula. Even in spite of the constant battle that was their life, they left something in their wake. A place that forms new stars.
A legacy, if you will
the cycle will forever continue

silent signals
for over a month now, a quiet song has played in my heart. its melody is woven with your name, though once, you silenced it with gentle rejection. yet, paradoxically, that denial brought us closer. in the aftermath, a new rhythm emerged, one that confounds and elates me.
you send signals across the miles, actions speaking where words do not. gestures sketch hope in the air, leaving me to wonder, to dream, to doubt. what do your intentions hold, hidden behind this veil of silence?
a thousand miles stretch between us, yet your presence feels near, a warmth light in my daily grey. you make me happy, a simple truth in a tangle of complexities.
here i stand, in the fog of confusion, waiting, hoping, feeling.

…☆Mapping out our stars☆…
Tumblr media
I often like to map out the stars, the stars are beautiful.
The stars shine, and the stars love.
You can erase words and you can erase the sun and moon from the sky, until all that is left is the constellations that the stars make.
When we die we do not return to the sun, we do not even return to god.
We return to our stars, and as the sun dissipates and the moon disappears, we shall shine as the heavenly bodies of love

Falling Star
Why has everyone deserted the night
I ponder as I walk in the beauty of her starlight
Falling for the embrace of her moonlight
As I rejoice in the song of midnight
Starry eyed as the shimmering stars align
Our fates intertwined in twinkling twilight divine
Festering words left unsaid in the dying moonshine
A great love only broken by the emerging sunshine
Why has everyone abandoned the night
I question as her stars began to ignite
Dancing under the starry spotlight
Forever falling like a star in flight
Moon drunk stumbling as the stars fall out of line
My full heart falling as the moon begins to resign
Now tiredly waiting for the shining stars to realign
For dawn can only temporarily separate starline

My Mercury.
My forgotten planet.
Scorched by his sun, from which he has no protection
Uninhabitable. desolate.
Eternally burning.

I want to be dressed in the stars
to glitter like Andromeda in the night sky.
I want the train of my dress to spill across the Milky Way,
bold and just as elegant as a wedding gown.
I want to watch the world with diamond eyes,
to shed colorful comets when I weep.
But above all,
I wish to be remembered--
to be pointed out like Orion's belt
and gazed upon in awe for all eternity.

I should’ve bought you a star
When I had the chance
Now I stare at the constellations
Waiting for another text
Not just any regular one though
A confession
that you still feel the same
That our love is still burning
Like the dying balls of light in the sky
Have we burned out already?
