hi! you were talking about how tokens alter play and. me and my friends play wanderhome w a rotating cast over google slides. we have a slide for each character sheet and then for the consent sheet, and then slides for each new locale we visit. we get into a call and while playing we establish things like color schemes and atmosphere using textboxes and such. we do tokens just by adding tallymarks next to peoples names at the bottom of the slide. it's a really fun system that leads to these really pretty poster-like slides for each new place, but we end up disregarding/forgetting tokens a lot

yeah this is outstanding, i really like that — i've been using google slides for some playtesting ive been doing. a thing u might wanna try out is to use circle-shapes to represent tokens — it might help make them feel more interesting during play, because tokens-as-talleymarks (which is how i've also often played) can easily make them feel insubstantial and fade away! but also you Really don't need tokens while playing wanderhome to have a good time, so if u wanna just ignore them the game will be fine

me and @squidbroom were taking about 10 and jack and they pointed out that 10 "is essentially created by smth that in his own words 'would make a time lord into a vengeful god' ". 10 is the time lord victorious because he was born to be a vengeful god. and on the reverse, jack being the opposite of that. living forever and he never stops loving the doctor, or anyone else hes close to.

im pretty sure this is a song i found through discover weekly or something early on, put on my "set on shuffle and draw to" playlist, and then discovered spotify shuffle sucks bc it keeps prioritizing songs from when the playlist was shorter so even though its been like 2 years it STILL plays this song a lot
