Remember when I said that "A Sheep Among Dragons" is finished, but I still might draw Dragon Yagi again?
I should've waited until the box with the new colors arrived. The swirls could've looked so much better. And I didn't make a copy of the sketch like I usually do ...

Hello, hello! Welcome to my main blog, where the DCA fascination consumes! My alt blog is @sharetheartman, go check it out if you wanna see the amazing art this community has to offer!
My Ko-fi (if you're able to help a struggling writer, very much appreciated. Can request written commissions if you want): BlueMoon1331
Below is a list of all my current fics on A03 and planned AUs! Give them a read if you love fantasy and the DCA! (Updated to divide between the SFW and NSFW stories)
<<<<<First up, the SFW section!>>>>>>
Finished Works:
One Lost Star- You are a bit of a hermit, living solo off the land since the death of your grandfather. Until you draw certain godly attention, that is.
Scarlet Masquerade- The sole heir to your kingdom, you find yourself caught in the tangled web of the automaton emperor's plans. However, things are about to go from bad to worse when you catch the interest of the deadly automaton assassin sent to end you.
WIPs:
Cosmic Journeys- Trapped in the depths of depression, you seek an unfortunate out. The nearby land owner won't let that happen, though. Thus begins a journey of self-worth and finding hope in a world of madness and compassion, monsters, saints, and everything in between.
Come and Go- A Megamind-inspired AU with Sun as Metroman, Moon as Megamind, and Eclipse as Titan, while you are a delivery driver caught in the middle.
Unusual- An oceanographer, there is no place you'd rather be than scouring the depths of the seven seas, studying its plant life and creatures, in particular the infamous mers, beings most of your co-workers are quite wary of. They don't seem to mind you too much, though, a fact you try not to put stock in until an encounter on the beach near your house flips your entire world upside down. Strings of fate and a battle to rule the oceans with you as the key? Ridiculous. Right?
Of Metal Parts and Roadside Shenanigans- You are a trucker traveling home before unwittingly tripping headfirst into a giant mystery. (More of @deceptiveshadow's Blood Moon cause I love him and cannot help myself.)
One-shots:
Party Crashing 101- A piece inspired by the mafia episode from Helluva Boss. Badass, protective reader ftw XD
Blooming In Adversity- You and the princesses were great friends in your youth, until you had to move away. Years later, you return, your friendship blooming anew. However, dark plots turn in the background, and it may be up to just you to save them.
Phantom Tide- You are a siren, crushed under betrayal. Sun and Moon are brothers recovering from the throes of grief. Perhaps you may be just what each other need.
Connotations- Your duties as a druid are fairly life-consuming, but you have happily devoted yourself to them. Keeping the peace is not the easiest, but you do it all the same. Unfortunately, the arrival of contesting priests threaten your efforts, setting you on a collision course to meet three of the forest's most powerful caretakers.
Diamonds and Iron- Being a rather big-time mafia boss, of course Eclipse needs places to stash away his income. As an outdoor enthusiast, you love visiting the local motorsports arena when you can afford it. Oh, who's that standing in the middle of the track, where you can't see?
Birds of a Feather- You are stuck as the basically powerless manager to the newly opened pizzaplex. With problems everywhere you look, you're not sure which one to focus on or handle first. Perhaps you could find a kindred soul in a certain mechanic, however. (Based in the EAPS universe)
<<<<<<<<<NSFW area ahoy!>>>>>>>>>>
Finished Works:
Never Play Cat and Mouse With Vampires- Living alone is a necessity, your skills in hunting, magic, and evasion giving you all you need for contentment, or so you tell yourself. In your newest home you, unfortunately, find that your capabilities only draw the infatuation of three local creatures that are intent to finally capture you and make you theirs. Annoyingly, they may just get that chance.
Dancing In Orbit- The lunar vampire is the last of his kind, a deadly plague on the Earth that refuses to yield despite the uncountable years that have passed since the last of his kin and kind died off. You, running from your intertwined past, seek to finally put an end to that, with some help from friends old and new.
Familiar Constellations- The vampires get a bit quirky about you, especially when you egg them on. Mature. Very, very mature. Good gods they are rough, but you love it. After all, you can get a bit rough with them, too.
Gravity- Featuring another of @deceptiveshadow's lovely OCs, Nova. Normally quite the quiet and cat-like companion, you join him for a round of games in which his behavior becomes increasingly odd. That's nothing compared to when you strangely wake in the tower the next day, having no recollection of how you got there, and what comes after.
WIPs:
Embers and Ash- Ghost hunting is your profession, and you are damn good at it. Which is why you don't think twice when you're hired to cleanse an abandoned mansion of its otherworldly resident. Too bad this job is not the cake walk you thought it would be.
Burning Stars- You run your farm alone on a world teeming with aliens and humans, content with your animal family and helpful community, even if you keep the latter at arm's lengths. Until your peace is interrupted by a certain intergalactic bounty hunter, anyway.
Rosewood's Serenade- The eldest child of your kingdom, you have trained since birth to be all your home needs and more, intent to take the throne when the time comes, marriage or no. However, your parents harbor a secret, a deal struck when disaster threatened to destroy all they hold dear, and you soon find yourself meeting a most intriguing being...
Demonic- The saying of Hell is empty for all the demons are here has never been more apt. Caught smack dab in the middle of the infamous Hell-Day event, you come out with an unexpected passenger woven into your soul. Now, you secretly fight to preserve the fragile balance between mortals and the demons trapped on Earth, all while contending with the fact your new neighbors are the very ones responsible for sealing the gates, the infamous Celestial Graces. They also happen to be the mortal enemies of the one currently living in you. Fun times all around, especially with devil himself on your heels, seeking to reclaim what he lost.
Along the Akesh- Blessed with visions since your youth, you were taken and raised by the temple, becoming one of the highest-ranked priests, second to only the grand heijut himself. With an awe-inspiring festival and ritual that happens only once every five centuries under way, you are eager to meet the moon god, one of the many you have had the pleasure of conversing with throughout your prayers and oracles, in person. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when the temple must pay recompense for an accidental screw up with a gift left by an old friend. You are about to learn just how intrigued you and the moon god truly are with each other.
One-shots:
Bleeding Feathers- You weren't supposed to go into the exclusionary zone, but that's never been a problem for you before. This time, however, you might just get more than you bargained for. Fan piece for @deceptiveshadow's harpy au! (Not TSAMS)
Color Theory- Moving back to your late grandma's cabin, you pray for things to finally settle down. Unfortunately, her myriad of secrets seek to come back and haunt you, but hey, it might not be all bad this time. You could use the comfort of an old friend. Another fic inspired by @deceptiveshadow! Their god Blood Moon this time. (Not TSAMS)
<<<<<<<Lastly, miscellaneous potential AUs!>>>>>>>
Lich King AU- With the three realms in shambles, cut off from each other, it is up to the most powerful warriors of Earth to fend off the lich king and his Elite army, including his own brothers. You, whom offers them a secret safe haven and relaxation when they need it, cannot deny your love for Sun and Moon, nor they you, but with Eclipse hounding for any weakness he can use against his kin, is the danger really worth it? You find the answer may be coming sooner than you would like when the two go missing after a fight.
Spirited Away AU- You have moved to a more remote region in hopes of forgetting a troubled family life. Content to spend your time among the lush jungles of the land, you inadvertently stumble upon an obviously long-forgotten temple. Curiosity eats at you, and you cannot help get closer, initially unaware of the myriad of eyes watching you, until you spot...an icy blue leopard? It's a good thing you helped those snakes and that spider on your way here.
Harem AU- You saved them from certain death, and now the clan of vampire brothers serve you. For years uncountable, you have pulled the strings, quite happy to cause chaos around the world when it becomes too dull for your liking, going from hero to hero. On blood soaked ground, you are content with your helpful vampires, though can things really stay the same forever?
Skyrim AU- Every place has its demons, no matter how reclusive or small. You consider yourself one of them. Seeking an escape, you move to Solstheim hoping for a fresh start. How unfortunate for you that you would arrive during the island's darkest hour. Cults, strange creatures, a frost giant king, and the arrival of two Dragonborns drag you right back into the spotlight, dredging up your past as you all race against time and the greedy daedra of knowledge to stop each other's destruction.
Then There Was One- You wake up to an empty world. You don't comprehend how or why it happened, just that everyone seems to have vanished in the blink of an eye. Cars sit vacant in traffic, meals left uneaten, internet full of messages that abruptly stopped hours ago. You try to live on your lonesome, keeping yourself distracted, and ignoring the gnawing loneliness. Except, well, you might not be as alone as you think, a fact you find out far too late when your page gets flooded with AI messages and bots are suddenly knocking at your day. Just what the hell kind of universal joke was this robot apocalypse you were stuck in? Or...do you have this all wrong? Your new companions may yet help you figure it out.

Yandere Spirit Todofam’s roles in the bathhouse
Tumblr media
Self indulgent as shit but whatever
Enji handles the general stuff, repairs, finances and finances. He’s very strict about it and likes having a stable work environment. He also handles business partnerships and contracts. He likes it when you come and spend time with him when he’s doing paperwork.
Rei handles their apartment and it’s upkeep. As well handling their staff that cleans the place. Unlike her husband and eldest son, she’s rather merciful. It takes a special kinda person to get Lady Rei mad. (Except you, she can’t ever get upset with her baby.) You help out in minor ways by helping her sew and do mother/child activities together.
Fuyumi handles staff and menus, she’s rather enjoyable to work under and is a very friendly boss. Although, she doesn’t agree with how employees are hired. (I.E Enji putting them under contract.) She loves it when you come and spend time with her, but gets sad when you leave.
Natsou handles the baths themselves, especially what type of ingredients are used in the baths and soaps. He takes his job seriously and doesn’t want anyone hurt. (As much as he would love to sabotage his father’s business but he doesn’t talk about it-) He’s always happy to teach you about certain aspects about his job.
Shoto and Dabi are errand boys, you rarely see them around as they’re busy seeking out partnerships and ingredients. They reluctantly work together but there’s this awkward tension around them.
Dabi also tends to recruit workers and puts them under contract, he also curses anyone who steals from the bathhouse.
Shoto is a chill guy to hang around, he is rather possessive and protective whenever Enji is around. Dabi is an absolute ass to you but is kinda caring. (Still won’t stop him from accidentally pushing you in the Koi fish pond.)

Treasured One
Would you believe this was too long for AO3? But really wanted to share this cuz I think it's one of the better fics I've written in a while. Enjoy...~
Gladstone tensed at the sound of locks undoing themselves, breaking the silence of the room. He looked up just as the doors opened, and Liu Hai entered the room in a flutter of jade fabric. He carried a silver tray stacked with bowls and cups, and a kettle in the center that still smoked as if fresh from the fire.
Seated at the table, Gladstone quickly ducked his head. He tried to hide his disappointment as the doors shut again, instead putting on a sardonic grin.
“Oh, golly gee, is it lunch time already?” he asked, his voice full of false cheer. Liu Hai returned it with an equally disingenuous grin.
“Not if you keep up that attitude, it isn’t!”
Gladstone dropped the mask with a sigh; it wouldn’t do him any good to piss him off now. Might as well get a meal first, and he could use the tea…
“Fine, whatever…” he muttered, head bowing lower as Liu Hai approached. He received an approving nod as the tray was set down. Gladstone quietly reached for a bread roll, nibbling at it as the demon took a seat across from him.
“I suppose that’s better,” he said, taking the kettle and pouring himself a cup, “though it could include some better manners. Another day, perhaps; tea?”
A cup was placed before him and filled without him needing to answer. He reached for it, still keeping his hunched form, but his eyes shot up when it was moved slightly out of reach. Liu Hai had him fixed with a harsh stare; the smile was gone, and his eyes conveyed agitation. His brow raised, as if he expected something.
Gladstone studied him for a moment, confused, before realization struck; he couldn’t just do as he wanted of course. Liu Hai had his expectations, and he was to live up to them.
His eyes narrowed, and through gritted teeth he said, “Yes please.”
His eyes softened, and he pushed the hot mug back. Gladstone took it with a soft grumble, and made to take a sip—he paused, before adjusting his movement. He held the cup close, making shallow tilts to sip the dark brew as best he could in his awkward hold. Liu Hai eyed him curiously, slowly taking a bowl of rice stacked with beef. He shrugged it off though, taking his share of the bowl before passing it the other’s way.
“So, do I get another exciting trek through the halls today, or do I get to count the cracks in the ceiling again?” Gladstone asked dully. He shoveled the hot food into his mouth, ignoring the slight burn as it went down. He flashed a snide grin.
“Spoiler alert: it’s none.”
Liu Hai snickered, eating at a much calmer pace.
“That depends, are you going to make another fruitless attempt for the main doors?”
Gladstone didn’t answer, but his eyes gave him away; he would, they both knew he would. No matter how many times he failed, he would keep trying. And this determination was why Liu Hai would continue holding him in this room until he was no longer deemed “a flight risk”.
“Dunno why you’re even that mad,” Gladstone grumbled,, “not like I can even get out of the damn building; thanks for that by the way.”
This brought a sneer to the demon’s face, and Gladstone was reluctantly made aware once more of the thick, golden collar locked securely around his neck. Acknowledging it seemed to make it heavier, and his free hand traced it despite himself.
The metal was cool to the touch, and didn’t leave much if any room between it and skin. His finger found the edge, barely able to slip beneath it—
He winced, a hiss slipping out as he jerked his hand away. This fully caught Liu Hai’s attention as he set his plate down, and leaned closer, eyes studying him much more intensely than before. Gladstone shrunk under those harsh eyes, avoiding them as he slowly reached for another roll.
A shudder ran down his spine as Liu Hai stood.
He refused to look up as the demon moved closer, standing so close he could feel the aura radiating off him.
“Gladstone, look at me.”
He didn’t, shoulders hunched around him. His heart was hammering in his chest as a strong hand grabbed his jaw. He fought against the pull, trying to keep his head down.
“Look. At. Me.” Liu Hai growled, his grip tightening. Nails lightly pressed at his skin, and he finally allowed his head to be pulled up with a frustrated grunt.
Angry red lines decorated his neck, tracing along the edges of the shackle. Some were shallow and faint, while others were much deeper. Dark red and scabbed over, and the skin raw from the hours he'd spent clawing at the damned shackle. Long nights where he swore it was tighter, even if reasonably he knew it wasn’t. But it choked him with the reality of his situation. Weighed heavy on his chest that he was stuck here, never getting out, no matter how hard he tried, how loud he screamed, how deep his nails dug.
Squeezing tighter until he could hardly breathe, and he just wanted it off, off, get it off—
A heavy sigh left Liu Hai as he leaned down to examine the injuries.
“Gladstone, how many times must we do this?”
A faint red tinged Gladstone’s face as his head was tilted back.
“Sooo sorry to inconvenience you.” He muttered, wincing as cool fingers lightly grazed the ugly marks along his throat. His arm twitched, wanting to push the other away; but, he knew better. Or at least, he didn’t have the energy to argue right now.
Liu Hai grumbled under his breath as he willed his chair over, taking a seat. A snap of his fingers summoned a jar on the table, and Gladstone wrinkled his nose at the strong, medicinal odor wafting from it. It was one he was becoming familiar with, unfortunately…
Liu Hai dipped a hand into the elixir, and started applying it to the marks as he clicked his tongue.
“You really must stop with this ridiculous behavior. What are you even hoping to accomplish? Besides wasting my time and healing elixirs, of course.”
Gladstone squirmed in his seat as the hands carefully worked the ointment into his skin. He attempted to pull away, but Liu Hai’s grip was unwavering.
“Well there’s a couple solutions to this,” he ground through his teeth. “You could just NOT waste your time with your smelly magic salve or whatever it is. Spare my nose while you’re at it…”
“Oh, nonsense,” he said, before abruptly pulling him close, holding his jaw tightly, “I can’t have my property walking around damaged, now can I?”
I’m not your property.
The words flew to his mouth, but Gladstone bit them back with a glare. Liu Hai flashed a sly grin, as though waiting for him to let loose. Daring him, even.
Try it, give me a challenge. See what happens.
But he said nothing of the kind, forcing his ire down as he continued.
“Or you could just take the damn thing off. Kinda clashes with the whole aesthetic ya got going on here anyway.”
He indicated the bright jade ensemble he’d been forced into long ago, when he’d first arrived. Days, weeks maybe. He hated them, they weren’t even close to his style, or even his favorite shade of green. They weren’t him at all; but of course, they loudly proclaimed Liu Hai's influence. Even now, the fabric still carried the refreshing smell of rain and chilling mint tea.
Even when he was alone he could still smell the demon; the whole room reeked of him. Smothering, choking, overwhelming—
“Anyone could tell you this much brightness is a bit gaudy, and I am anything but. You’d be doing us both a favor, really.”
The demon only laughed at this, applying another layer of elixir. His movements were slow and methodical, it could be taken as him being thorough; but, one glance at his eyes told another story. They gleamed with a malicious humor, taking in every small quiver and sharp breath as he touched up the deeper cuts.
They both knew how much Gladstone hated this, the feeling of his hands on his skin. The light poke of his nails, the way they traced the veins running beneath…the tenderness he acted with. It felt so…wrong. Made his skin crawl as his hands clenched in his lap.
“Perhaps one day I will be able to remove it; but that all depends on you of course.”
Liu Hai finally sat back, wiping his hands off with a cloth and snapping the elixir away. Gladstone hastily ran hands over his neck, desperately needing the feel of ANYBODY else’s hands on his skin; he only briefly noted the absence of the abrasions. He shot Liu Hai a soured glare.
“Right, me, because I have SO much influence on your decisions; that’s why I’ve had the delightful luxury of having zero say in any of my “accommodations” here!” He threw his hands up, gesturing at the extravagant room. It was pretty, sure, but that’s all it was; a hollow sense of indulgence. A gilded cage, worse than the casino had ever been.
“Oh you’ve had plenty of influence, Gladstone. After all, it was only because you insisted on trying to leap out of every window or doorway you could find that I even had to put that on you in the first place! If you’re so upset about it, then give me reason to reconsider.”
“Please, don’t act like this isn’t some sick power trip for you!”
“Hm, perhaps a bit,” Liu Hai said with a smirk, “but my point stands: if you want the comforts you crave, then you need to help yourself.”
Gladstone’s head shot up at this, anger roaring in his ears.
“Wha— help myself?! Are you kidding me?! You think I’M the problem?!”
He abruptly stood, shoving the chair back with enough force to knock it over. He pointed furiously at him, ignoring the tiny siren in his head that screamed for him to stop. To keep this modicum of peace they had going right now.
“You’re the one who decided to drag me here, and you act like I’m unreasonable for being MAD about it?!”
Liu Hai stood as well, and Gladstone tried not to be intimidated by his towering height over him.
“Do control yourself, Gander, becoming hysterical over nothing won’t help you. If you want a better life here, then you need to earn it!”
“Hysterical— nothi— you kidnapped me! Locked me in this damn room, put this damn collar on me, these stupid clothes…!”
He was pacing now, hands running and gripping his hair furiously, breathing unsteady. Liu Hai watched him with an exasperated frown, like he was dealing with a bratty child, and it wasn’t helping Gladstone’s roiling emotions.
“Oh, you care so much about my “wants”, you wanna know what I want?! I want MY clothes back, I want MY room in MY house, I want this stupid manacle gone— !”
He stormed over to the large glass window that made up the eastern wall of his room. He gestured wildly to the world beyond it. A mystic one so far from his own, nothing but trees and mountains for miles. Even if he COULD leave the palace, he wouldn’t even know where to go.
“I want MY world back, I want my LIFE back, I want my family…!”
His breath hitched; so many faces flashed through his mind. Gramma, Donald, Della, the kids, Fethry— his emotions swelled to a fever pitch, and he whirled around. His fists struck the window as he gave a desperate shout.
“I WANT TO GO HOME!!”
A translucent green barrier rippled across the glass as he made contact, giving a dull thunk. Even if the window hadn’t been there, he wouldn’t have gotten past it. He knows, he’d tried…many, many times.
Silence filled the room now as his high faded, leaving him panting against the glass. It wasn’t long before his knees gave out, and he slid to the floor, his arms wrapped around himself.
“Please…” he begged in a quivering whisper.
“Please just let me go.”
He sat in a pitiful, shaking heap, trying to relax his stuttered breathing. And failing, it seemed, as the light prickle of tears seeped through.
Soft footsteps moved toward him, and a moment later, an arm wrapped around his shoulders. The other hand grasped his chin, and forced his reddening eyes to meet brilliant yellow. They held an infuriating sense of pity.
“There, there, xiaobao,” Liu Hai cooed, brushing a thumb against his cheek, “no need to be so upset; soon you’ll realize you can have so much more.”
Gladstone couldn’t string a sentence together just yet; only offer a puzzled stare and stuttered “wh-wha…” before he was shushed.
“You don’t need that ruthless world anymore, or those fools that claim to care. That world that would just as easily toss you away the moment your luck turns away from their favor, the family who barely speaks to you unless they need you for their own benefits.”
Lies, all lies; how is that any different than you?
The question must’ve been evident in his eyes, as Liu Hai smiled, stroking his face again.
“They take what they want and leave you in the lurch; I can give you anything your heart desires, and I ask for so little in return.”
Never mind the fact that the “so little” he wanted tore into his body and soul, leaving him with a spinning head and comatose for hours at a time. Piercing into his core like a hot knife and lapping away at it until his body seemed to burn from the inside out. Left him with a nauseating sense of wrongness that wouldn’t abate. And that didn’t even cover the growing number of scars and divots left behind from the teeth.
But of course, it was all good, because he was pampered and coddled for the rest of his days. That made it all worth it, right?
Liu Hai drew him closer, lips pressed to his ear; he could feel the smile in his voice as he murmured. A shudder ran through him as a nail traced his jawline.
“I can give you such a wonderful life here…if you’d only let me.”
“Stop,” He gasped, finding his voice at last. “Stop acting like…like you care! You don’t, I know you don’t, you just want a meal…!”
A laugh ruffled his hair. Liu Hai then stood, towing Gladstone up with him by the arm, and turned him around to face him.
“I do care quite a lot about you, Gladstone. I even enjoy your antics some days. You are such a fine specimen; a rarity that doesn’t come often. A delicacy to be treasured.”
He leaned closer with every word, and Gladstone found himself pressing back against the barrier. Strong hands cupped his face.
“Which is why I can never let you go.”
He lightly patted his cheek, before finally pulling away. Gladstone fought the tremor in his legs as he watched him head for the doors.
“Well, I think that’s enough excitement for one afternoon,” Liu Hai sighed, and gestured to the table, “feel free to have your fill of what’s left.”
He looked back over his shoulder; his eyes gleamed, and a ravenous grin split his face.
“I’ll stop by this evening for dinner.”
He was gone then, slipping out the doors without another word. Locks slid into place, leaving only deafening silence.
Gladstone stumbled his way to the bed, letting his weak legs finally give as he sank into the plush mattress. His legs drew into his chest tightly, trying to make himself as small as possible. The food was left forgotten on the table, he didn’t have the stomach for anything right now.
It would be hours before Liu Hai returned, but he knew it wouldn’t feel that way. It always seemed he had too much time yet not enough.
Never enough.
The gold band weighed heavy on his neck.

Hi! I just got here. I'm curious about so so many of your WIPs (probably I am here to stay, I'm so curious xD) but don't want to send a million messages, so to pick one... Xie Lian Mud AU?
CW: Suicide mention/suicidal ideation
MUD AU MY BELOVED. this concept came from this prompt and ive been slowly plodding away at actually writing it. TLDR Xie Lian goes to Ghost City after escaping the coffin to ask Crimson Rain Sought Flower to finally kill him. Hua Cheng doesn't recognize him and assumes he's a ghost because he's still wounded and covered in grime from the coffin. He loses the bet and instead of being killed ends up in the service of the Gambler's Den Spirited Away style. He then proceeds to have a magical healing journey of ghostly employment while his and Hua Cheng's contentious relationship slowly becomes more...
“This humble one asks to be granted the gift of a quick death.”  Ghosts all around the den break out in loud chatter. Some jeer, and others catcall. A woman in green robes, with flowering branches sprouting from her hair like deer’s antlers, leans in and grins.  “Gongzi, I can help you with that for free. You don’t need to bother Chengzu, I could eat you right up.”  The kneeling ghost shakes its head, but doesn’t otherwise respond.  “And why should you need to come to me for that?” he asks, out of a sense of his own curiosity. It’s a strange request for a ghost, for whom typically the ‘life’ they live to must be actively clung to to be maintained, but not the strangest the Den has seen.  “This one heard that the Lord of Ghost City, Crimson Rain Sought Flower, can grant impossible favors. This one’s luck is not good, but I thought… to try.”  “I can,” Hua Cheng says, “For the right price. What will you offer me for the gift of your dispersal?”  “... I have little to offer my Lord besides myself. Anything I could give, I will. Whatever my Lord asks.”  “And why do you suppose that I would have any use for you?”  “This one has some talents, if my Lord wishes to make use of them. Fighting and strategy, repairing and cleaning things, and ah… performing I suppose.”  “Oh? Are you a musician?”  “A passable one. Most of my performances were more physical in nature. Sword swallowing… that sort of thing.”  Hua Cheng can’t help but snort, as the den’s patrons and workers alike burst into loud and delighted hollering.  “So,” he drawls, “you want to pay me with your body?”

Leosagi Spirited Away Au???
i feel like im losing it a little and this is by no means polished bUt
Tumblr media
i cannot stop thinking of an alternate version of that episode where Big Mama is introduced where all but Leo trust her and it turns into a Spirited Away Situation™ also inspired by a Zukka Spirited Away au i read many moons ago...
(i suppose it could very much work with 2003 Leosagi too but the Yubaba to Big Mama pipeline is too strong)
whatever plot i got below the thingie if you want my ramblings
so we have from rise:
Leo = Chihiro
Big Mama = Yubaba
Don, Mikey + Raph = parents
from usagi yojimbo (all aged appropriately cause this is mY silly little sandbox):
Usagi = Haku
Kitsune = Lin
Gennosuke = Kamaji
most is up in the air but like the concept of Usagi being tricked into working for Big Mama cause she has his swords aka his soul instead of the name stealing? and by the end Leo slight-of-hands it away to free him??
like im not even sure how the brothers would be like... incapacitated? maybe Big Mama provides big feast for them in thanks for catching the oozesquitoes and Leo kinda wanders off, still saying how suspicious it all is only to return to see the rest of the boyos... knocked out?? maybe??? anyway causes him to bolt and bump into a bnuy Usagi who tries to get him to leave.
on the fence whether to keep that Big Mama has like... bathhouse management gig on the side or to completely redesign that it is the battle nexus?
also... if Usagi can turn into a dragon? maybe thats too far... but also dragons are cool so idk. i wouldn't have him as a spirit though.
i'll probably flesh this out more and draw a comic or something but know that this is occupying my two remaining braincells
