As we've previously discussed with Horizons, sometimes the vision of the Imagineers gets lost in the day-to-day execution by operations teams - and that includes trash cans. Over the past few years we've watched as Walt Disney World's cans have taken a turn for the worse, emphasizing minimal detail for the sake of making them easier to maintain. I mean, seriously, this is your Adventureland can? This is why it's been encouraging to see that the same Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge trash can designs that debuted at Disneyland have made their way to Disney's Hollywood Studios. SPENCER PARKER MAKES RARE NYC APPEARANCE - SAT. NOV. 7TH AT PAPER BOX

Berlin's Spencer Parker boasts a busy itinerary of around-the-world shows, but that list hasn't included New York recently. That's why we're very excited to welcome him to Brooklyn for Lost in Music on Saturday November 7th, when he'll headline our next party at the Paper Box. Expect a smoking set of the type of sophisticated house-meets-techno that's become Spencer's calling card in the last few years as he caps a stacked, two-room lineup of music.

Spencer's biggest project of late has been his own label Work Them Records, which has been on a tear with a string of releases featuring raw, underground techno and jacking retro house. The label has released tracks and remixes from Radio Slave, Rodhad, Answer Code Request, and Parker himself. The label has become a favorite with underground tastemakers - Ben Klock featured two Work Them tracks in his recent Radio 1 Essential Mix, and Ben Sims played four of the label's tracks at his recent Fabric London set. Parker's own "No More Silly Club Songs Vol. 1" EP on his longtime home Rekids was similarly well-received this summer.

Parker's appearance follows killer Lost in Music sets from Diynamic's Magdalena in August, and Germany's Alle Farben in September. Joining Spencer in the main room will be Lost in Music's residents Sleepy & Boo, who are celebrating the release of their brand new "7th Castle" EP on Romania's Quanticman label. Also playing will be New York's Greiner, and Eric Shans. In the side room, NYC's The Deep crew comes on board with their residents Luka Tacon, Salinger, Will Buck, Haruka Salt and Free Radicals all dropping sets.
