Imagine going trick-or-treating with your best friend Marth Kaply, and crush Spencer Gilpin

Halloween had always been one of your favorite holidays growing up. After all what kid didn't love free candy. As you grew up you dreaded the day where you felt too old for trick or treating. This seemed virtually impossible although you knew if you didn't come to the conclusion that you were more suited for Halloween parties than going door to door for candy, one of those parents handing out the candy would make the decision for you.

When Martha approached you your first thought had been that she was going to suggest against trick or treating rather than be the one who encouraged it. She didn't just encourage it, she in fact broached the subject of inviting Spencer along. You'd been friends with Martha for years, long enough for her to know about your crush on Spencer and while you were nervous to spend time with him, you had agreed with her plan.

It was nice to hang out just the three of you. You'd never really hung out with Spencer outside of the classes that you shared but you found yourself getting along really well. The three of you went from house to house gathering more candy than you thought you'd had since you were a kid. Sometimes this led to trading candy on the sidewalk before moving to the next house. A trio you had become that night and you were glad that you had agreed to go with Martha because you not only had plenty of candy but further excuses to talk with Spencer at school.

Ever since Spencer first met you, he could already feel he would be falling for you. You were so much like him, an outcast who had asthma and loved video games and were an overall nerd. You bonded quickly, spending your breaks together, talking about video games and computers.

When he was sucked into Jumanji, one thought kept him going the strongest - if they wouldn’t succeed, he wouldn’t see you ever again. And that in mind, he knew how to beat the game.

After Jumanji, Bethany made a ship name for you two, calling you “Double Nerds”. And through Spencer, you got three friends more, Martha, Bethany and Fridge, and they teased Spencer for having an obvious crush on you. You couldn’t see it, too oblivious to his stares and blushes whenever you grabbed his hand or got excited about some topic he loved too. But everyone else around you could see it, and eventually Spencer took that leap after months of being encouraged by his friends and he told you about his feelings.

And you couldn’t feel happier - you had feelings for him too.
