Ok so I guess this is a weird question, but what do you think about wally and dick being in a relationship? would it be healthy? would it last long? all those types of questions. I've been getting into dc recently, and I've been starting to realize alot of people ship those two, admittedly I can see why, I'm starting to like them too. Pretty sure I saw someone call them every Dick Grayson/Wally West stan "required phase", it would be a life if I said I didn't snort at that. But I've been curious if they would even work out, with their plans for their lives being so different, clashing with each other
Absolutely!
In fact I think that if Dick and Wally ever got into a canonical relationship, they would never ever break up which would be a massive problem for DC because DC needs their IT boy Dick Grayson to be shipped with as many people as possible. lol.
No but really the reason they're so great together is because Wally really, really cares about Dick's mental health. He's canonically made it his mission to make sure Dick is happy and safe and he loves his best friend so much. Dick has grown up with wally since they were tiny kids and he knows every detail of Wally's life and loves him. The Flash Plus comic is just the two of them being best buddies.
So considering the amount of love and care Wally and Dick have for each other. In Titans (2016) Wally literally writes a love letter to Dick. (they call it a friendship letter but c'mon who're they tryna fool.)
Titans (2016) Issue #15
Do you know what Wally does? He literally turns back time in order to prevent Dick from dying. Wally is retiring because he has a heart condition. He can't run. He can't be the flash anymore.
But.
Titans (2016) Issue #15
For Dick he killed himself.
I genuinely don't think it's possible for Dick to have a healthier relationship with anyone than he does with Wally. They're like cotton candy, white snow, salsa mix love. The purest, softest, fluffiest romance with a whirlpool of fun and excitement.
Something Wally mourns a lot in the comics is his loss of contact with Dick.
The Flash (1987) Issue #210
The reason they don't talk as much is because Wally is busy with Linda and Dick can't just third wheel a marriage. I mean he sort of already does but anymore than now and he would be living with them. Permanently.
I think the only issue they would have is the different cities. Neither of them would be willing to move because Wally loves Central City and Dick loves Bludhaven. However they would still be able to maintain a long distance relationship easily because even as friends they go on annual vacations, just the two of them, simply to hang out with each other. Also the occasional drop ins.
As soon as Wally heard Dick and Barbara broke up-
Nightwing (1996) Issue #88
The only time Dick and Wally have fought is when Dick is refusing self-care and Wally is so mad at him for neglecting his mental health. But even then it's more of a - fine. I'm leaving you alone for now until you get your stuff together. I know you can do it. - type thing. They would definitely work out despite the separate cities thing because Wally has unconditional trust and love for Dick and Dick loves Wally .just as much.
Besides, living in two cities is no problem for a speedster
Nightwing (2016) Issue #15
They're the classic childhood friends to lovers trope without all the backstabbing and betrayal stuff you see in movies. It doesn't matter if people even ship them or not at this point because if you asked them they would probably just marry each other and call it "bromance."

Does this man look 98 to you?
This is Jay Garrick from Young Justice. According to the series timeline, he is 98 in this scene. He looks early sixties at the oldest, and possibly could be mistaken for being in his late forties.
Joan looks a lot more reasonable for a 94-year-old woman done in an art style that doesn't really support realistic wrinkles, hair loss/weakening, liver spots, connective tissue weakening, etc.
That still raises the question- why does a man almost a century old look 20-40 years younger than a woman four years his junior?
Well, Jay's a speedster. Joan isn't. There you go, that's the main difference.
Barry could also be mistaken for being in his early twenties or even late teens, despite actually being in his late thirties/early forties. His voice is certainly squeaky enough.
The younger speedsters(Wally and Bart) seem to have aged normally enough- but then again, growth is different from aging, and Bart is obviously not still a baby, despite being born with super speed.
Jay is also able to pick up Barry and Bart and run while carrying both of them without any issues, as well as accelerate fast enough to pull them out of the way of Neutron's explosion despite having not even been in the area before that.
From all of this, we can conclude that speedsters age much slower than humans(about 1/2 to 1/4 the rate), and that aging is mostly cosmetic for them. They aren't really that much slower or weaker than they were in their youth, though they possibly have less stamina.
If that wasn't enough, the only surviving(as far as we know) members of the JSA are Red Tornado and Doctor Fate. You know, the android who was in stasis for several decades, and the magic user who actually looks his age, and explicitly suffered the normal side effects of aging?
Therefore- Jay will probably live another oh, 300 years. (Admittedly assuming the minimum possible aging rate, but even if he only ages at 1/2 rate instead of 1/4 rate(thus being effectively 60 at 98, instead of effectively 40 at 98), he will still live for another 80-100 years.)
The average speedster lifespan is thus not 90(as for a human) years, but anywhere from 200 to 400 years.
(Lifespan estimations calculated by subtracting 22(the age he got powers at) from 98(his age in 2016), then taking the result(76), and dividing it by either 2 or 4, then adding the result of that(38 for 1/2 and 19 for 1/4) to 22 until I get a result over 90 but less than 110 and eyeballing the result based on how many times I needed to add 38 or 19 to get ~90. It's clumsy, I know, but it works.)

did you know that negaduck from darkwing duck was based off reverse-flash? yeah, that doesnt even BEGIN to describe what's actually been going on between their character histories..
first, negaduck wasnt just inspired by or a reverse-flash parody. he's a literal copy-paste of silver age thawne with a very few changes of origin place from future to parallel universe and identity from some random future guy to main hero's evil twin, because originally eobard was fixated on being a Criminal and not particularly flash's nemesis. back in the day, thawne constantly mentions how much he loves his criminal life. half of his lines are negaduck-worthy purely because the rest is related to being a speedster scientist. my personal favorite as an example:
he passes the speed limit law in central city so that barry couldnt use superspeed without breaking it but thawne still could because he is 'a hardened criminal'. he invents rays that turn everything inflicted evil (something even negaduck has never done (ig solely because megavolt's already done it in the negaduck episode where he accidentally splits darkwing into good dw (posiduck) and bad dw(negaduck, with a black and gray color scheme), and while yellow negaduck is a different character this is basically how the idea of him was born and the writers just decided to keep him in a different form bc the gray one merged back into normal dw at the end which is super funny. imagine coming up with a duck villain and going 'oh this guy actually reminds me a lot of reverse-flash with all that opposite/negative thing. LET'S PAINT HIM IN THOSE COLORS AND GIVE HIM THE SAME PERSONALITY AND SIMILAR ORIGIN THIS TIME'), altho he DOES test the power gem on a cat in jail bird like thawne did with evil rays). he repeatedly tries to get poor former dr alchemy back to crime just because 'crime fun. why cant you see that. im doing it for your own good' and negaduck tried something like that with morgana in feb 14th episode my valentine ghoul (+that brief scene with gos from 2016 comics run where he believes she must be bad deep down inside out of comparsion to nega!gosalyn). negaduck also travels from a whole other world just to fuck around here for fun (there was this bronze age flash issue called flashback where thawne gets lost in the timestream because barry pushed the wrong buttons in his time capsule which is almost exact negaduck's fate in life, the negaverse and everything) and one of another few differences related is that negaduck is shown to be a dictator of his universe's St. Canard who is bored to live somewhere he already has all the power so he travels to another universe to cause problems on purpose.
second. dc's new52. eobard is rewritten again, now he and zoom are kind of one character. but guess what else is new in this version that never happend neither in zoom or professor zoom's lives? thawne is a fucking dictator in his own time. and people tried to fight his rule in flash's name just like friendly four needed darkwing as inspiration to finally fight back for their world.
he gets his own team, acolytes of zoom (i wish i could call them local fearsome 4 but there are 5 of them, making it more of a sinister 6 if you count thawne) which he trains for centuries to fight the flash and betrays later by trying to steal their powers just like negaduck stole f4's in jail bird to become mega-negaduck and if all that wasnt enough, without the mask he straight up looks like negaduck humanization. look at him. this mf is only missing a hat and a cape.
also these sudden black parts in his new speedster suit design? either it is some absolute fucking bonkers of a coincidence or someone on the flash writing team really went 'hey guys you know what would be real funny? lets base new thawne off negaduck. like he was originally based off thawne. i swear no one will notice' and everyone went with that. (i could also mention he has the same dumb motivation for being evil (having shitty childhood/being deep down sad about mistreatment and loneliness) as 2011 dwd comics run negaduck but imo that's too far of a stretch to actually be included)
third. yall know the deal of the first season of cw's the flash? yeah, what if i told you the whole thawne messes with the particle accelerator and causes barry to gain superspeed thing already fucking happend in darkwing duck, episode going nowhere fast?
(the way i lost my mind over this back in the day when i decided to watch dwd just because negaduck reminded me of thawne(i didnt even know he was a direct rip-off, i just went 'oh wait dt universe has this evil fuck that wears the same color scheme as reverse-flash? girl i AM checking the whole thing out just to see if he's anything like thawne'.) and first watched the episode... priceless, still haunts me to this very day. how the hell was that written in 1991. did cw writers just take the idea from dwd too. honestly i cant be sure about anything anymore).
and remember in the duck knight returns (2011 comics run arc) flashbacks there was a super funny thing with negaduck not knowing dw's secret identity and being so proud he cracked the case? remember cw!og!thawne looking for flash's time period and not knowing his identity in 2nd season cameo episode? what the hell was even up with that!!! like guys. guys one of you is the most devoted flash fan from the future and there is NO way none of that kind of information was left a CENTURY after (i mean come on dude couldntve you just asked gideon. she literally had that 2024 newspaper about vanishing and thats at the very least not mentioning she was created by barry) and another is straight up the same fucking person as the hero with the same fucking relatives and enemies. idk take a wild guess??? ((i really wonder if anybody on the wirting team of 2011 dwd run saw not just life, the negaverse and everything but any episode featuring negaduck at all. not only do they ignore the existence of nega!gos in the 'oh he mean bc alone :(' approach, they ignore the very definition of negaduck's character which is literally evil drake mallard. i mean sure hes dumb and may miss obvious clues because of being the same dw just evil but come on, such a comedic situation and never addressed by drake whos literally been in the negaverse and knows they are the same person or by anyone else he coluldve told that? oh well unless drake is also dumb af and thought there never was any drake mallard in the negaverse in the first place and that negaduck is some other guy. which is a real probability i suppose))
also. negaduck's death by being split on billions of evil particles in crisis on infinite darkwings and thawne, being 'exorcised' from nash's body in a form of a negative speed force stream with sparks in 6x15 of cw's the flash.
fourth! yall did watch ducktales 2017 reboot, right? specifically the duck knight returns episode? they introduce a whole new version of negaduck there! and guess what. jim starling, an old darkwing duck (in-universe 90s tv series) actor obsessed with his role, goes fucking nuts because there is a new darkwing duck actor in a new movie and he didnt even know. because he feels forgotten. because no one remembers neither him nor original series (objectievely not true bc obviously launchpad and drake but to jim they just dont count bc reasons. he seems to count only children but calls lp his fan when anthagonizes drake for taking even that from him in the end). because he was replaced and no one even bothered to tell him. he causes a fire on the set, almost kills drake but does have a change of heart at the end after launchpad's speech about what darkwing duck stands for and seemingly sacrifices himself to save drake and lp from the explosion. then they have the worst idea they could have in relation to jim's character ever: for drake to be a real life darkwing duck to honor jim's sacrifice. so naturally he hears that from the sewers or wherever he was hiding to see their reactions(look i am. 100% sure that this is what happened bc that makes so much more sense than jim getting brain damage or whatever from that explosion and waking up to choose violence again for no other reason). he gets hit with the being replacable and forgotten thing once again and renders back to negaduck tendencies, for all we know for good this time as his darkwing suit changes to the yellow-red one. yk who else went on a rampage because he felt forgotten and replaced? you guessed it! the return of barry allen, a 90s classic where thawne goes to 21st century for the first time, thinks he's barry (original-ish flash) because dissociation from trauma of seeing himself being killed by his hero and acts exactly like starling, having the same issues as motivation aka him/barry being forgotten and replaced by wally. he implies wally taking on the flash mantle is most disrespectful to barry. he rants about how he's the only flash and threatens to destroy not only the flash family but the whole central city for forgetting that. he and wally have a conflict of legacy similar to jim and drake's conflict in dt17. he is The starling blueprint only a lot more mentally ill. also we've heard something like the duck knight returns in running scared (this one is less reminiscent of jim but still features some things that werent in the return of barry allen). it's a rebirth arc that introduces another new origin of reverse-flash. now, he's been hyperfixated on barry allen his whole life (on a whole new level i mean) and there was the first meeting in 25th century where they Connected like thawne always believed they would. that day ended up in a fight and thawne's imprisonment because he set up casualties to get attention and praise for being the flash of 25th century but unlike all other versions this thawne has a change of heart after the fight, too. he promises to 'fix everything' including himself, he even goes to therapy afterwards. then he goes to the 21st century to tell barry how much he accomplished since they last met and then sees barry saying to wally one meaningful phrase he said to thawne that perfect day. like it wasnt something special only barry and eobard shared. like the day they met never happened. like he forgot thawne ever existed. like he was replaced as barry's speedster partner/friend/whatever he thought they were after that day by wally. and that shatters thawne so much he runs back to 25th and just decides to become the reverse-flash and make barry suffer until he gives him attention and recognition he deserved. frank angones, i am inside your walls. you CANT deny you based your versions of dw and nd off flash comics and thawne particularly. and more, you legit made reverse!eobarry au and put it in dt in duck forms. i have been losing my mind about it for 3 years now. i am exposing you and there is nothing you can do to escape that.
fifth(ish). yeah, and btw about friendly four from life, the negaverse and everything. did you think they actually escaped being mirrored in the flash? ha. i present to you reverse-rogues from the 25th century aka the renegades, carefully created by zoom and thawne himself, thinking it would somehow be funny.
cant believe hunter once saw it on tv put 2 and 2 together and went 'eobard my dude we need to go full negaverse with the 25th century. we need a friendly four to your negaduck. i swear it'll be Hilarious'. god the only thing they lack at this point is nega!gosalyn (i mean. hunter actually did try something like that with inertia, saving him from the museum and trying to teach him how to torture flashfam into improving them but thad was more of a nega!honker and reverted hunter to disabled powerless state just because. love that kid)
and that's all i have so far, if anyone here also into both yellow-red mfs with no life feel free to comment or even add more because there sure is or at least will be more and no one has the power to stop it.

Where is Jenni right now in continuity?
At the moment she is officially in limbo as she has not been seen in anything that demonstrates she exists in this current continuity as a permanent fixture.
She did not appear in the Bendisboot of Legion of Super-Heroes which would be the logical place to put her if she existed at all.
The last time she was seen was in The Flash (2016) #75 and it was only in a group shot following Barry's internal monologue for visual interest and not to show what was actually happening. This was in 2019.
We also saw her in Convergence Blue Beetle #2 back in 2015 where she appeared in Earth-4 with a Legionnaire teams comprised of both pre and post-zero hour Legionnaires. It was a composite team whose placement in canon is dubious but could just be another team we haven't seen... or it was the artist just not knowing what these teams were supposed to look like. But hey! Snake Jeka!
She does not have any lines here and doesn't really do anything beyond being seen on two pages in the background.
The last comic where she had any significant role and did anything was back in Final Crisis #5 where we find out she decided to leave her team to live in the Pre-Crisis continuity (with Gates).
Because she is a speedster time and reality can mean nothing to her so she can just be reality hopping right now but we really don't know for sure. She could be part of the Bendisboot and we just... didn't see her (maybe she's on Arrok) but again it's vague.
The writers know of her and that she is important but I feel like no one really knows what to do with her.

On this day June 26th 2016
I took a photo of a squirrel when I went on vacation with my family.
Like I went on a 3 day vacation to California which I always love to go to California. Especially if I want to live at a house by the beach. It can be like the Ramcats, the Speedsters and the Rabbits should live at. So enough of that, while I was on Vacation which was just me, my mom, my sisters, my brother and my Aunt, we checked out a bunch of cool stuff from the beach, to random places like the harbor, and the mall and other cool stuff. And in California, we always see a bunch of squirrels in California, and when I hear birds, normally at night I hear crows cawing at night which is new to me because back in Arizona, there are no crows cawing there.
And all of that, I always love going on a trip to California, but next time, I should stay there for a week. It would be pretty nice, and if I went to Sony Pictures studios there, I can take a tour there and afterwards want to compete in a game show and earn some cash. Which I bet that would be something the Ramcats, the Speedsters and the Rabbits can do as well.

Well, March was certainly an interesting month but it's time to get back to the tales of the Tuuns. I have many stories in the pipeline, but for now, I have a special treat. While cleaning my basement the other day, I came across several pictures I have done in the past. Severally water damaged and faded to high heaven, I fixed them up and decided to showcase them here today. Some you'll recognize, others you've never gazed at and some might very well be the first drawings I've ever done of that specific character. Either way, I think you'll enjoy them.
MOON OF TOONS DOODLES, CONCEPTS AND NONSENSE 2
Wonder Warriors
Reggie Fastshell, the Snail Speedster. He originally dripped mucus from his arms and mouth and sported a cape.
The first drawing I did of POW! Panda. As you can see, his ears were much bigger but he still retains his trademark jetpack and blasters.
Amphibislash took on a more Ninja Turtle like appearance even though he was a bullfrog with Wolverine claws. Probably one of the few times you'll see him sporting a smile given his cantankerous personality.
Now this character was originally meant to be a villain to POW! Panda called Koalabog (or Koalaborg). However, being a lifelong Koala lover, I couldn't bring myself to antagonize a gentle creature. I think this guy eventually evolved into the sun surfing koala, Kool Walla!
The first drawing of Teddyclops (originally a Halloween die-cut I designed around 2016). Not much has changed with this guy.
Alien Inhabitants
I like to think these are some of the creatures we'd see looming about the evil Lord Bliss Torbelly's castle.
Probably seen this guy in the past. This is one of the crew members of the starship Hovering Horse named Scratchitanius. It's obvious who the sci-fi character was who inspired him. Live long and pros-purrr!
Same with these two. You have the worrywart humanoid robot and the stubborn trashcan robot, only this guy has a tiny alien inside of him with a bulging eye. He keeps his eye on things for sure.
This guy, Sank Survivikus is a vampire ninja and could very well be the sensei of Samur-Eye! Alien vampires hail from the planet Stokeron with no sun in sight and everyday is evening.
Esmeralda is a bounty hunter from Boolikonk and wears a glass helmet over her head. She can breathe fine in space without it, she just wears it so she doesn't mess up her erect Marge Simpson hairdo!
Zoob Noopincher is a mysterious alien who I can very well picture roaming around the Blue Sand Planet, scavenging for trinkets and slaying giant worms with his trident. His species, the Nuix need a high protein diet to survive after all!
RAZLAOBO DWELLERS
A sketch from 2018 depicting Grinkin and Nogg's arrival towards Razlaobo. I liked to depict the stars flashing by in great yellow squiggles of light as the balloon races towards the planet at breakneck speed. The balloon, which is actually called the Spacefloaty can actually change it's face patterns depending on the speed it's going at.
Good old Frigglesnaff was the one who helped the Socktompets escape the Machete Ridge bar. He had pink fur around his feet originally but remained mostly the same. Kinda like the body of Fozzie Bear with the head of the alien from the movie Can of Worms!
When the Socktompets and Frigglesnaff returned to Razlaobo following their adventure on Kowratha's ship, they all returned to their normal appearances and didn't have to worry about the vile hellions tormenting them ever again since the Mitziwonker's influence over the planet dissipated, restoring the planet back to it's peaceful glory.
Hallow End Inhabitants
This guy, officially known as Stormskull is very mysterious. It's not known if he's a zombie or a mutant with an exposed skull but he doesn't make a sound, not even a grunt or growl or snarl like others of the zombie mutant variety. He was a good friend of Baxter Bladely at Goreycrest Academy and got good marks despite being illiterate.
Hallow End has it's own superheroes. In this universe, the horrible killers of slasher movies are in fact the crime fighters, sporting colorful costumes and apparel to boot. Now it's unknown for the time being whether Spider-Man, Batman, Captain America and the like are serial killers in this universe but it's a very enticing thought. There's Mighty Mike, Slashman and the gallant leader Captain Jace!
Of course, we can't forget about the Great Gourdo Head!

Okay... You asked for it....
You already know the one and only blorbo I will never shut up about and I'm going to talk about him because dear lord do not enough people actually have anything positive to say about him and my ass literally has to bring up the one time he was positively characterized in the 1987 Suicide Squad as someone who actually cares about consent.
That's right. I'm talking about Captain Boomerang because who else would I be talking about.
I can't tell you enough how much I love this very stupid man. He's literally just a guy who fights a speedster who's literally referred to as the Fastest Man Alive. And Boomer's managed to knock Flash out with a boomerang of all things. All because the Scarlet Speedster keeps forgetting that his boomerangs come back.
Early comics were honestly the funniest thing ever for him. Like... Vol 1 of the Flash. He was just a funny silly lil guy. Look at him. What's even happening here?
This is even funnier when you realize that the Flash has kept his costume compressed in a ring for years by this point. I'm sorry honey, you just have no idea that your idea is exactly the same as the Flash's 😭😭😭 ALSO HIM CALLING HIMSELF A FREAK I'M LIVING FOR THIS OH MY GOD SIR!!!! SIR!!!! YES YOU ARE AND I LOVE YOU FOR IT!!!!
And let's not forget the fucking Carrier Boomerang. Please DC. Please bring this back. That was too funny. Please.
YOU CANNOT GET ANY FUNNIER THAN SENDING SOMETHING TO INSULT SOMEONE I'M SORRY BUT THIS WAS PEAK COMEDY AT THE TIME!!!!
He's been my blorbo for literally an entire year and within that time nothing interesting has happened to him in canon. Nothing! Then with Non-canon DC content the most interesting thing that's happened with him there was Multiversity: Harley Screws Up The DCU. And the fandom did almost nothing with him apart from a friend of mine drawing things that he never showed online and me paying someone to essentially remove the Starro Spore and put him in different clothes. Speaking of the fandom... The most interesting thing that's happened with him there was the fight between Owen Fans and Digger Fans thanks to someone who supposedly didn't actually like either insulting Digger fans. Which all know lead to me getting some nasty asks in my inbox.
And even now there's basically nothing for him for 3 days now. It's all just Identity Crisis covers that he's not even on in the tags and one person who's brought up a comic from 1994 of something where he was a creep and it was really gross, followed by my own post showing off how even the worst version of him cares about consent. Like... Literally.
This is the racist one I have to constantly state was only from this run. CONSTANTLY!!!!
And even he understands basic consent!!!!
I shouldn't have to feel the need to jump out and make these statements about him but here we are!
I honestly love the 2016 Suicide Squad Captain Boomerang. He actually was allowed to say things. Which is why we know he likes the Alien franchise. And I absolutely adore that. I think he should reference it more or someone should put him in an Alien costume or something for Halloween. I want to put him in front of the TV and have him play Alien Isolation on my PS4 please he deserves it.
He needs so much love and I wish I could draw or write or something so I could actually contribute to his weird little fandom space instead of just posting entire essays on why he's not this, that, or the other thing because person a, b, or c is talking shit. Again.
This man deserves more than what he's getting.
He's a loser. He fails. A lot. But I love him all the same. I love that his recent interpretations have given him that lil gap between his teeth. He's just a silly lil guy.
You want me to talk about my blorbos, huh? You sure?
yes grabby hands grabby hands

Your favorite Gene concert: Speedster or Mad Cyclone? Why?
Dear Anon,
I am really sooooo incredible sorry that it took me so long to answer your question but it’s first of all a kinda quite difficult question and I really wanted to watch both concerts again to answer it properly. Thank you so much for this question. I never thought about it in this way and it was the first time that I actually watched it without being distracted by anything else.
Sooooo let’s go 😄
Speedster
It was my first Gene Live and my first Japanese Live with let’s say such dimensions (Lives of Solidem or X4 are so much smaller) and I was completely stunned. The stage was just f*cking awesome with all the streets and yeah it was the first time that I saw such a stage and it really made me speechless in the beginning. There were people everywhere, not only in front, but also on the side and in the back. I really liked how variable the middle part of the stage was with the stairs and everything. The CGI backstory about the Mad Clowns was just awesome. The Background Sound is great and I really think that they should be available on iTunes. They were really looking amazing in their Mad Clown outfits, but I also liked their „shiny“ suits which they put on before Tell me why.
The concert started with AGEHA (I won’t go into detail with every song, because then it would be a much much longer post, but you can ask me anytime…now I should be able to answer more quickly). When it started, I could really feel my pulse speeding up and it makes you dance immediately. The second song (OMG) was Evergreen. I wrote it already before and I think it’s kinda obvious that it’s my all-time favourite Gene Song. The live version is just sooo amazing because the stage is completely green and the dance sequence is longer. This song, especially the dance break, always reminds me of Hayato, so it’s kinda his song and I was totally happy when he was in the center. Fun Fact: when Ryuto turned his back to Ryota facing Yuta he made so silly faces and Yuta had to hold back his laughing. Never let you go is kinda on place 2 on my most played songs and I really love it. I liked how the guys were goofing around and it’s one of the songs I really miss during Live Performances. For Tell me why they changed the stage setting to NY and it was looking incredible good. And Ryuto hitting the high notes still causes shivers running through my spine. Their painful faces during the Rainy Room performance were so heartbreaking like aaaah….I want to hug them all. And the choreo by Yuta is just awesome. He’s such a talented choreographer so I can really imagine him doing this in the future and I really can’t wait for his lessons for EXPG Online. The Acoustic medley completely caught me off-gurad. I never thought that somebody can make me cry like this, but yeah here we have Ryuto and Ryota, who did this. The acoustic/piano version of 花 was so incredible, you really have to listen to it. I loved that the crowd was completely silent during the song (something you don’t see that often during western concerts). But this version is unbelievable great. Beyond everything. Do I really have to talk about 片想い?? Thx … dead … bye. The Performer Showcase in short: the guys were so awesome and I really need the sound and somebody who teaches me the choreo. It always amazes me what Hayato is doing with his feet (so it’s not surprising that he needs cool bags on his legs after performances). His style is called Chicago Footwork and he’s the first Japanese performer joining them (So proud of my sunshine). His dancing style is also the reason why I am starting with street dance next semester and started with EXPG Online Studio (dying through the R.Y.U.S.E.I. choreo - but Kenjiro is doing a great job). I always have to jump when Sing it loud comes during a live. I have to sing and jump, it’s impossible not to. They also showed videos from their Generations EX Tour and sang parts of the song in English 🙂 . I didn’t like Organ Donor ~OFF DA HOOK~ in the beginning, but now OMG. It’s in the top10. The song is catchy, the choreo in the MV amazing and totally love it now. I totally love what they did with Gene’s version of Burning Up. The flags and the pyro is just wooooow. Hard Knock Days: you can really feel their energy. It’s song where you have to dance. Like sing it loud but with lots more energy. And yeah the performers minus Hayato were just rude. I fell in love with Namida from the start. I totally like their stories in the MV especially Mandy’s because yeah I’m a small girl and it was soooo cute. Also Hayato’s story was incredible cute. I like that the ending of his story was not so sad as the one of the others. So I was really excited for the live and they did an incredible job (I mean they can never disappoint me anyways). So during the second part of Speedster they changed the setlist. The beginning of Namida was acoustic and OMG (still dead). The performance was a little bit different but still totally stunning. The Vocal acoustic medley was a little bit different this time. No piano, but they sang 片想い, Story (love this one a little bit too much), I remember and Always with you. The Mad Show (or the Performer’s show case) was as great as expected and I am really running out of words. I really have no words left for Hayato because his performance always leaves me speechless. Alan and Reo … aaaah …. So extra 😄 Run this Town is just pure energy and power. You can really feel it when you watch it. And now we come to Pierrot … this song is just yeah I don’t know why but it always drives me nuts. The MV is just incredible and seeing it live was just OMG. The choreo is really awesome especially in the MV.
Mad Cyclone
The stage was this time a centre stage because yeah arena tour with the huge screen moving up and down and the stage was rotating during most of the performances. The stage had extensions (I’m not sure to call them like this but yeah) to both sides so the fans could enjoy it from all sides. The CGI Backstory continued from Speedster transforming them into the Mad Jesters. I totally liked the bridge to PKCZ with the laser lights in the arena and Alan’s before the DJpart. The live started with Mad Cyclone. I didn’t like it in the beginning, but now it’s such an awesome song and I get goosebumps every time I hear it. It has an incredible dance break (OMG) and every time they face each other is just wow (I guess they had lots of fun during RH 😄 ). The second song was 太陽も月も. And I think I love this song a little bit too much sometimes. It’s also the first song I hear in the morning (to kinda wake up). The choreo is awesome and during Gene High School TV you can learn it (also for AGEHA and BCR). During the dance break the performers had short solo dances and I totally loved the combination from Yuta and Hayato, because they spend so much time with each other working on their acrobatics. Seeing them doing CF together just made my heart burst 😄 And Reo and Alan next to each other with these hair styles totally look like brothers. Pierrot is my favourite MV of all (minus Evergreen) and also one of my favourite songs. The choreo is just awesome and I loved how Yuta and Hayato could show off their acrobatic skills during the performance. Cuteness overload or live performance of Togetherness. They were so cute especially Hayato, Ryota, Yuta and Alan goofing around with the camera. And aaaaaaah all the happy smiles. And yeah kinda off-topic: I really, really, really want Ryota’s leather jacket. I mean I have already the same Humanmade jacket but aaaaaaah. I really liked how Yuta was in the centre of the stage during Sound of Love showing why he’s also in charge of chores and being all adorable with this huge smile. Yeah Make you mine or holy sh*t….ALAN…COULD YOU PLEASE NOT….PUT THAT F*CKING SHIRT ON…HAYATOOOO.NOT THAT GLANCE….REO…AAAAAAH TOTALLY SWEATY CLOSE UP…. ALAN….WHERE THE F*CK IS MY HOLY WATER…GO AWAY DEMON… So yeah that was my reaction to this performance. Also for the bridge to Stupid ~真っ赤なブレスレット~ It should be illegal to look that good. Really. I totally loved their solo dance parts during Namida while sitting on the stairs. And that’s just my opinion but Ryota’s voice improved a lot since Speedster. At least that’s what I hear and of course I can be wrong but he was incredible. Love you more in short: thx … dead … bye … They took 4 girls from the crowd, seated them on two sofas and sang for them. Ryuto must have killed them. Those girls will never be interested in anyone else. Looking at the girl while singing “I need you in my world“ would kill me. … Aaaah and the ending …. Both of them singing while facing the girls again … so cute (I would just die there). The performer showcase was called Mad Cyclone Alley this time and it was really kinda funny. Yuta with the flute, Alan with the scooter and Reo acting like the little brat he is. I am still not sure how Reo and Hayato could dance with the backbags on their backs but awesome. I really love how they all have their own style and it really kinda resembles their personalities. I still need an album for DJAlan. His remixes of Gene songs are just soooo amazing. His smiles were so cute during his part and you really see how much he enjoys it. Sing it Loud was the most amazing remix he did. He enjoyed it so much that I am pretty sure that the fans are going to enjoy a DJAlan part during United Journey 🙂 Hard Knock Days Is just aaaaaaaah. I can’t even. Especially Mandy’s rap part. He’s allowed to rap (and he’s really great) but so not allowed to sing. Reo and the skiing goggles…just too funny…but I would love to have Supreme skinning goggles…I am pretty sure I am skiing more than him 😄 During Run this town Hayato (KEEP YOUR F*CKING TONGUE WHERE IT SHOULD BE) had more time for his solo performance and OMG he’s so talented. His acrobatic skills have really improved a lot (yeah I always kinda worried about him but I know that he knows what he’s doing soooo). During the Be the one performance you could really see how incredible adorable they are. The last time I watched it I also made screenshots because it was just too funny to watch. The huge balloons in YMCA were great, but the performance was just f*cking awesome. With the rotating stage and the performers getting microphones (Hayato = pure energy - such a sunshine 😄 and Reo = little brat teasing Mandy as always). I think I talked already enough about Evergreen but in short I really love their group hug at the end of the song … just sooooooooo cute. Next was written by Ryuto and it’s also on my playlist of songs I have listen in the morning to survive the day 😄 It’s an incredible great song and I totally love the MV (It’s kinda the Making Off of Sora while they were in the US - the MV is sooooo adorable … Yuta and the alien 😄 ) During Speedster the opening was AGEHA. This time it was the ending of Mad Cyclone. I love how the taught the song during Gene High School TV and it’s soooo easy to learn. You just have to dance to this song when you hear it. It’s an amazing, catchy song and I’m already excited which song they are going to choose as opening song for United Journey (since they announced United Journey as a song on the next single I would go with this one but we will see).
Sooo as conclusion … I really can’t give a proper answer. Both Lives are amazing in their own way. It also depends a lot on my mood but let’s say 70% of the time I prefer Speedster because of the setlist, but when it comes to the stage I would 100% say Mad Cyclone. It’s completely my opinion but I prefer Speedster when it comes to cuteness (don’t ask why) and Mad Cyclone for all the uptempo songs (never been jumping around so much). The more often I watch Mad Cyclone the more I love it. So maybe if you ask me again in six months then my opinion might have changed.
#generations from exile tribe#mad cyclone live 2017#speedster live 2016#yuki talking about concerts#it would be amazing if i would put the same interest sometimes into my research project#also the same motivation#aaaaaaaaaah#this is just a short version#so if someone wants to know more just message me

The Future Flash and The Identity of Savitar
Or how Season 3 could have still had Barry as Savitar but made it more interesting. And avoided the painful aesthetic that was the future Barry sporting a rats nest for hair.
So I remember one of the theories floating around for Savitar's identity after he dropped the 'future flash' comment was that he was Barry. Specifically the version of Barry from the future that Eobard erased when he murdered Nora Allen. Protected by the Speed Force, that Barry survived the change to history... but arrived in a future so different from the one he knew that he immediately sought to 'fix' it.
That theory and the one that Savitar was somehow Barry's time remnant that died at the end of season 2 were probably the two closest to the answer we eventually got. After all, the bad guy was Barry Allen in some form or fashion. I never put much credence into the season 2 time remnant theory, but I did enjoy the one involving the OG timeline's Barry Allen. The Barry that time (and the show writers) forgot.
Now, while I firmly believe that doing three seasons of speedster main villains in a row was way too much, I do think that the Savitar arc would've been greatly improved by having Barry face off against the OG Barry Allen. The version of himself that he's been quietly measuring himself up to all this time and found himself wanting. And suddenly here he is, trying to rewrite time to match what he's lost.
It works best if Barry didn't run off to create Flashpoint at the end of season two, I think. Though there will be a Flashpoint. It just comes later.
Savitar's arc is no longer his struggle to become a separate person from Barry or to break free of the paradox his very existence depends on. Instead, on arrival in the future he discovers the Barry of this timeline has been dead for months and now Wally is the Flash. Iris has their daughter Nora, but the twins are no where to be found. And being too different from this timeline's Barry, OG Barry can't simply slip into the life the other Barry left behind. This isn't his Iris, his Wally, his family... and when Barry decides to set right what went wrong... these alternate versions of the people he loves try to stop him. And while fighting Wally in order to return to the speed force in order to travel all the way back to that fateful evening in March 2000, Barry accidentally causes what he thinks is Wally's death. But, of course, he's going to fix that. He's going to fix it all.
The parts in the future might be shown as flashbacks from Savitar's point of view, scattered throughout the season. He's sympathetic - trying to fix what Eobard broke is a pretty natural reaction to finding that the timeline isn't what it was before. But what he's trying to do will wipe out the current timeline. He's trying to play god, in a manner of speaking, deciding who lives and who dies and casting judgement on an entire timeline for daring not to be the one he remembers.
Meanwhile in the current timeline, Barry's struggling with his grief. He lost his father and watched an alternate version of himself die to save the multiverse and he's struggling with his mental health. Part of him wonders if maybe the wrong Barry Allen died that night because he doesn't know how to carry on when everything hurts so much. There's also the arrival of his new coworker that's causing problems at work - Julian Albert Desmond - and the mystery of the cocoons that seem to be transforming people into metahumans.
In the midst of all this, Jay shows up and accuses Barry of altering the timeline. Which he very much hasn't. Clearing up the misunderstanding leads to the discover of Savitar, who is trying to reach further back in time, but seems to have hit a wall going any further back than 2016. Barry thinks the man in the armor is Eobard Thawne, which amuses Savitar but he doesn't give his real identity. Instead he curb stomps Barry and Jay, using their lack of experience fighting together in order to use them against each other. He calls himself Savitar, but also the Future Flash. Though much like canon Savitar, the way he says it is somewhat ambiguous so that it's not obvious to the characters that he's an alt version of Barry.
Jay leaves to investigate the Speed Force itself to find clues to Savitar's identity, while Barry focuses on the cocoon mystery. Dr. Alchemy would this become the season's secondary antagonist though I, admittedly, haven't really fleshed out his aims just yet. Though if I were to turn this into a fanfic series I'd probably take a look at some of his motivations from the comics and see what's there for me to beg/borrow/steal.
Savitar, of course, keeps showing up and is focused on Barry in a way that reinforces Barry's belief that he's Eobard Thawne back to ruin his day. He teams up with some of the metas created by Alchemy, but is visibly disturbed when Wally gains the abilities of a speedster and becomes Kid Flash.
Through this Cisco's developing his powers and glimpses visions of alternate timelines being created and destroyed by Savitar. Never the right timeline, so he keeps traveling further and further back. Cisco sees the timelines in reverse order until, finally, he sees far enough 'back' into the alternate futures to realize the true identity of Savitar - which would probably be the mid season finale point.
While the Rival isn't fast enough to help Savitar venture further into the past, it's soon clear Wally is. And Jay returns to explain what he's discovered - the Speed Force itself is blocking Savitar from going further back. Savitar was able to overcome her enforcers - the time wraiths and the black flash - and so she's had to create the equivalent of a physical block. Savitar's continual re-writing of the timeline has consequences beyond his understanding and if he doesn't stop he could rip apart the very fabric of their universe.
Savitar, however, manages to trick Wally and through him Barry and maybe even Jesse too. He generates enough speed between the multiple speedsters that he opens a breach and heads back to 2000 to reset the change that started it all... and get his family back the way they were. The way they should be.
Barry, of course, travels after him. And witnesses the creation of Flashpoint. But it's still not the timeline that Savitar came from. In fact, the world ceases to exist after 2024 in this timeline because... this time around there is no Flash at all. Barry Allen doesn't become the Flash because there is no particle accelerator failure. And the Eobard Thawne that Savitar dragged back to the future with him finally gets the last laugh because... this version of Barry Allen is literally not the Flash anymore. He's become every bit the villain Eobard has been. And, as far as Eobard is concerned, that means he won.
Meanwhile the Barry from our timeline stumbles into the new timeline's 2017. His parents are alive, but this timeline's Barry doesn't have powers and, being similar enough to our Barry, the two integrate. Which means Barry's the only Barry... at least until Savitar shows back up again. Until that happens, however, we see Barry losing his powers a bit more every time he uses them. Flashpoint would get more than a single episode's exploration here, with Barry struggling to accept his place in this timeline because he doesn't want to perpetuate Savitar's mistakes even as he realizes it means giving up his powers. But then Savitar and Thawne show up in the present because... if the timeline isn't reset, then the universe itself - and possibly the multiverse itself - will be destroyed.
Barry's already sacrificed himself once to save the multiverse. He isn't about to let that be in vain. So he agrees to an enemy mine situation with Savitar and the Reverse Flash. With the Speed Force no longer blocking time travel, the three of them easily return to the past even with Barry's diminished connection to the speed force.
Eobard, of course, double crosses them once in the past. He kills the version of the Flash that first arrived chasing after Eobard's own past self. Meaning there's no longer a version of the Flash to fight him in the Allen's family home or to stop him from killing the eleven year old Barry Allen.
Savitar is fading from the paradox this creates, since it occurred while he wasn't in the speed force it means he wasn't protected from the fall out. But he manages to do one final good thing. And he helps Barry to strengthen his own connection to the Speed Force again. Savitar - OG Barry - finally throws off pretenses and admits that he went too far and that he let his rivalry with Eobard go to far. Instead of accepting what he'd lost, he kept trying to force time to do his bidding and to give it all back to him. But this Barry could do what he couldn't. He could learn to accept his losses.
Barry becomes the Flash who fights with Eobard in the Allen family home and who shakes his head at S1 Barry to stop him from running in to save Nora. Barry is the one who saves his eleven-year-old self and who has to take a moment to watch from afar as his father is arrested for a crime he didn't commit.
When Barry returns to the present of 2017, it's much like the timeline he remembers. Except the events with Savitar no longer took place because Eobard erased him. And there's an implication that the Eobard who killed the version of Barry who became Savitar is the same one who had been menacing the Legends all season, so that still lines up nicely. The season could then end on a surprisingly quiet note, wrapping up the much lower stakes fight with Alchemy. And, perhaps, Barry proposing to Iris, whom he's been dating all season.
There would be hints that the timeline is more different than it might seem at first glance. Cisco's vibe suit is a little different. Caitlin's frost powers are more developed (no Killer Frost personality here). Maybe the circumstances of Henry's death are slightly different.

Character Bio: Luis Gutierrez- Velocity (Earth 616)
Age: 17
Race: Hispanic/American
Allies: Peter Parker, Ned Leeds, Gwen Stacy, Avengers, Barry Allen and Etc.
Home Universe: Pre-crisis: Earth 616 Post-Crisis: Earth Prime
Original Multiverse
Meet Luis Gutierrez, Born and raised in Queen, New York. That was until 2012 when he moved to Keystone. Luis is a longtime friend with Peter Parker. (After Ned, so calm down everyone.)
He lived just down the hall from Peter until 2012 when the Chitauri invasion occurred. Luis’s mother wanted to keep her family safe, so they had to move away. They kept in touch, Even though it was only once in a while. Then in early 2016, his School was offered a tour of Oscorp.
While walking around the building, Luis noticed something rolling across the floor.
It was a small silver sphere. He picks it up and puts it in his shirt pocket.
After running into Peter (Who was on his Special field trip.) They talked and caught up, unaware his bus was leaving without him. He was forced to walk back to the hotel where they were staying for the duration of the trip.
It was starting to rain as the sun went down, Luis was walking across the bridge.
Then it happened. The dark gray cloud skies were turning light red. Everything was starting to shake, Lights everywhere began to flicker as the storm rumbled!
The sphere started to have a reaction from the paranormal weather.
A bright orange beacon came down from the clouds. It shot into the ground on the outer coast of New York. It released a blast of dark matter energy while simultaneously cracking open the earth releasing what was later known as the terrigen mist.
The blast hits Luis knocking him off the bridge, at the same time a bolt of lightning strikes the orb causing it to go haywire, it begins to absorb all nearby electrical sources.
He then splashed into the water.
The orb disappeared, leaving behind a glowing presence in his chest.
2 and a half months later, Luis discovers the power of the speed force in his system (unaware of its name at the time). Creating his own costume and becoming the hero known as Velocity. After learning spider-man is his own friend Peter and with the help of Ned, Tony Stark, Luis protects New York City from threats.
Along the way he met some new allies together they created a team called team marvel:
Peter Parker- Spider-Man
Gwen Stacy- Spider-Gwen
Sam Alexander- Nova
Kamala Khan-Ms. Marvel
Doreen Green- Squirrel Girl
Meeting Barry Allen
After Otto Octavis experimented with the space stone to create an interdimensional gateway to access the 9 realms. Luis and his team went to retrieve it before anything disastrous could happen.
But when they arrive Otto turns on the machine. The speedster throws a lightning bolt at the gateway’s controls. It began to malfunction and blew up with the blast energy hitting Luis, sending him to Earth 1. Where he lands on top of Joe West's car.
Once regaining consciousness from the fall, Luis escaped star labs with Barry and Jesse chasing him. Finally realizing he’s not on his earth, Luis and Barry cooperate and become allies.(with Barry becoming his mentor) After 3 months, several attempts and a battle with Thawne, Luis made it back to Earth 616 with everyone on his earth unaware he was gone.
New Multiverse
Luis’s life is the same as in the original universe, up until 2014 when his school was invited to Central city to witness Star Labs particle accelerator activation. However, panic erupted when the accident began to malfunction. As Luis was running for his life, a wave of dark matter sent him crashing into a wall knocking him unconscious.
He spent the night at the hospital but was released the next day. Unaware of the dark matter that will remain dormant until early 2016. ( events happened somewhat the same.)
Personality:
Civilian-
Luis is a teen who often hangs out with his friends Peter and Ned.
He also goes to Midtown High School where he excels at the Music and Arts.
He is not as smart as his friends when it comes to Chemistry and Advanced Tech but he understands more along the way. He gets along well with Kamala and Doreen as they fanboy over superheroes and the abilities they have or recently tv shows they watch.
He has a crush on Gwen Stacy as they both take Music Class. He listens to her play her heart out and just loves her voice. Sometimes they play together. Sam's eagerness can be a blessing and a curse for Luis and the rest of his friends. Sam’s personality constantly clashes with Luis’s.
Luis’s family is unaware of alter ego as his mother is overprotective of him since his father passed, he knows she is doing what is best for him but it gets unbearable. He’s mostly close to his grandparents. But his Cousin Dante knows, he helped create the first suit and Luis works him around the tailor shop giving him a cover for his “other job.”
As Velocity-
Velocity is a confident speedster who’s a bit cocky at times. He’s usually seen with Team Marvel as they patrolled the city. But mostly seen with spider-man or ghost spider. He loves to run and never likes staying still for too long. He helps people out by either doing the simplest or giving them a ride somewhere. He does because he doesn’t see himself as a superhero, just a friend who wants to help others.
But he can be really terrifying if his loved ones are hurt because then he’s out for revenge.
Powers and abilities:
SpeedForce Connection- Just like other speedsters Luis has connection to the speedforce. Which enables him to run faster than any possible. When struck by dark matter lightning and exposed to terrigen mist, it altered and supercharged his DNA, cells, and neurotransmitters. It also augmented his bones, joints, tissue, and entire physiology well-beyond peak human condition to easily handle the rigors of his powers. High-level friction, inertia, air pressure, reduced oxygen, vectors and kinetic impact no longer affect him.
Inner Voice- A special guide that helps in situations. It could warn him of an attack that’s about to happen or guide him through the situation.
Electrokinesis- Luis is able to give energy or take electricity from other sources, giving him an extra boost. He’s able to create energy by giving off an electric charge. For example his phone, it’s able to charge when he runs except if he leaves on his person for too long, it overloads and short circuited out. He can use this ability to make his eyes glow bright blue from the speed force in his system. Turning his eyes in flashlights.
Bodily vibration/Intangibility- Luis is able to vibrate his modules to get him through a solid wall. He is also able to vibrate fast enough to blur himself. He can if necessary vibrate his hand through someone rupturing their organs instantly killing them.
Time Travel- Luis can run fast enough to break the temporal barrier accessing the time stream and letting him enter different points in time.
Interdimensional travel- With enough speed and focus on the location he wants to go to, Luis can create a rift and travel across the multiverse. He can use this ability to enter the Speed force as well.
SpeedForce sharing- By channeling enough energy, Luis can share his speed with others, letting them independently move as fast as speedsters without exhausting or affecting their own powers. However this causes him to lose some of his speed and limits some of his abilities until that energy is restored to him.
Voice Mimic- Luis can alter his voice to sound like others by changing his vocal cords' vibrational patterns, resulting in copying the person's exact voice.
Weaknesses:
SpeedForce life support- Luis’s accident should’ve killed him, but luckily it gave him the power of the SpeedForce, protecting him from death. However if that connection is ever interrupted or cut off, His body will slowly shut down which will make him very sick and then eventually die.
Astraphobia- Ever since the accident Luis is deathly afraid of thunderstorms. He will begin to lose focus and quickly try to hide as a form of safety.
Hyper-metabolism- While being able to run at super high speed, Luis burns calories much faster than a normal person. While breaking down food far more efficiently, it requires him to consume large amounts of nutrients. He must maintain a high calorie diet or else he’ll get weak from hunger and ultimately pass out.
Negative SpeedForce Connection- Whenever he gets angry, not normal angry. Vengeful, angry. his eyes will go red, then his skin will turn pale. He will begin to vibrate, blurring his body. At this point he looks similar to Thawne with the similar red lightning.
Luis becomes the opposite of his usual personality, His personality becomes extremely dark like Zoom’s and attacks anything that will try to hurt him or his loved ones. The Negative speed force makes him go faster, slightly more powerful than normal. It will be hard to turn him back to normal.
The Negative SpeedForce power can be addictive if used for too long. The speedster lightning turns from blue to dark purple, once he starts to connect to the Negative SpeedForce. It will turn red once he is fully connected.
Force fields- Luis has a much greater difficulty phasing through force fields.
Equipment:
The original Velocity Suit (formerly)- Using the supplies from his Cousin’s shop he created his own suit. Which was a black suit and a mask, wearing a blue headband and vest.
The Velocity Suit mark 2- Made by Cisco Ramon. This suit looks similar to Barry’s suit but has retractable wingsuit components. But the colors remain black and blue. This is the first suit to contain the Velocity symbol.
HUD interface- Thanks to Tony Stark, This feature has a built-in communication system, allowing him to accept cellular and video calls. This mode allows Velocity’s hearing and optics to be enhanced. It enables both X-Ray and infrared vision to see through solid objects and locate his targets. The suit has a built-in A.I. named Karen. Who helps him and Peter out
Vibranium Shoes- Due to his enhanced speed, normal shoes wear out easily for Luis. But after helping King T’Challa recover stolen Wakandan weapons. The Black Panther gave the speedster a gift of Wakandan Boots with the soles laced with vibranium.
Grappling hook- it’s a grappling hook. Not much to explain. It’s built into the suit’s arms.
I know this looks like a wiki page but I already had a well detailed history going inside my head already.
If you guys have any questions about this character or this AU, feel free to ask. This character has been in my head for a long time! I have plenty of ideas and stories to tell. Also I will explain the origin of this OC in another post.
If you want to read a story about Velocity, here's a link to some stories I made a few years back. They need some major adjustments but I think about rewriting it in the future.

I would like to thank @thetimelimit for making this. She created this a few months back. I just never got around to post it until recently. This just looks so wonderfully done. I actually teared up when she finished it. Finally my OC looked like he actually came from a comic book!

Thank You For Ruining My Life: An Homage to Tom Cavanagh
“You’ve ruined all my future expectations of men.”
The costume-clad woman had the courage of steel to say this to the then 53-year-old actor, Tom Cavanagh of The Flash, in front of a ballroom filled with a couple hundred people. This brave utterance was spoken during the 2016 Fan Expo Vancouver convention during a Flash question and answer period with actors Tom Cavanagh and Candice Patton. In its third season, the show was undoubtedly still hitting its stride in popularity, and the room was packed to hear these two speak.
The brave woman whose turn it was at the microphone was referring to Tom’s role as Ed Stevens on the NBC 2000 hit, Ed. I had not known of this show previously, but having now heard such a proclamation intrigued me. “You’ve ruined all my future expectations of men.” That was a tempting notion, and as I continued to listen to this disarmingly charming and wittingly funny man steal the stage, Tom intrigued me even more. I’d watched him play three different versions of Harrison Wells on The Flash since the show’s premiere date, yet I hadn’t truly noticed him in a “life-ruining” way before.
Little did I know that Tom Cavanagh would not only eventually ruin my expectations for men as well, but he would change my life in other ways, too.
After the Q&A, I had this urge to buy a S.T.A.R. Labs T-shirt from one of the vendors at the convention. In my head, I thought I would purchase something so that I could have an excuse to talk to Mr. Cavanagh at his signing booth. Again, he intrigued me, and I wanted to experience more of his incredibly likeable personality. So, I dragged my friend with me to wait for what was maybe ten minutes in a queue. Shortly, I was paying the assistant for my autograph I would soon acquire. They wrote my name on a sticky note so that Tom would know how to sign a personalized message to me. And then, it was my turn.
His eyes sparkled when he turned his attention to me. I instantly had a feeling this was just the way he was naturally. Oh yeah, and I swear to God I’d never seen eyes that blue in my entire life. It genuinely stunned me.
“Hi!” he greeted me.
“Hi!” I responded, equally as thrilled. Tom admired the T-shirt I had brought and took note of my name on the piece of paper. I remember us joking together about the extremely lax security in and around S.T.A.R. Labs on the show, which prompted his message to me on the heather-grey cotton. He wrote my name, [followed by a heart!] and a very welcoming, ‘Come on by, just walk right in!’
I had official clearance from Harrison Wells himself.
I thanked him very much, leaving with my treasure folded over my arms. My friend and I walked towards the hall’s exit, and I couldn’t shake this feeling inside me. It felt strange—I couldn’t name it for the life of me. It felt like an odd fluttering with a simultaneous yet contradictory slightness of breath. My head was confused and would continue to be so for the rest of that weekend.
As I waited at my gate in the airport on that Sunday evening to head home, all I knew was that the moments at the con featuring Tom were the highlights of the weekend for me.
And that I was going to begin watching more of the other films and television shows he’d been in. What was the show the brave cosplaying woman had said ruined her expectations of men? Oh yeah, Ed.
Maybe I’ll start there…
***
Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad…
In my house, it’s never really Christmastime until Michael Bublé croons through the speakers of the wooden stereo system in the living room. It felt especially festive as it was now Christmas Eve—a month and some change since the con. It was late, possibly ten o’clock. I was lying on the floor in front of the Christmas tree with my trusty laptop, a word document open. I was writing three holiday-song short stories featuring the new muse in my life, Harrison Wells. I wanted to be able to post them the next day, so my fingers were taptaptapping away.
I had written a handful of things before 2017, most of which had been Marvel-related, under my second, ‘rebirth’ pen name online. I was a little fish among all the grand and fabulous writers on Archive of Our Own, and in many ways, I still feel like that little fish. I was only just learning and feeling out the psyche of the Wells characters. Each one is so different. In my rewatch of the previous seasons of The Flash, I’d taken diligent notes, and as I’d later learn with each following rewatch, I would know them all—what they think, how they talk and behave—like the back of my hand. It was fun to suss out these guys, and I found that I was growing to love the act of writing even more.
One month later, in January, I would post all the stories I’d written thus far on Tumblr. I’d just created an account and, who knows? Maybe I’d get a wider range of readers on here, too.
Might as well give it a shot, right?
***
Wild horses couldn’t keep me from attending Fan Expo Vancouver 2017, especially when the big news dropped. Not only would Tom Cavanagh be attending again, but so would Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, and the convention-elusive star of the show himself, Grant Gustin.
Before the moderator for the Flash cast’s Q&A panel could utter the final thanks to the actors at the end of the session, I bounded from my seat and sped down to the photo op booth where the cast would be taking “Team Up” photos with fans. ‘Sped down’ has to be the most appropriate couple of words because I indeed felt like a true Speedster dressed head to toe as the small screen’s adaptation of Jesse Quick, the angsty and brilliant daughter to Harrison Wells turned superhero.
After waiting in a queue that felt like ages, I was next to stand with Team Flash. As I took a step forward, all of the actors’ and actresses’ eyes—the people I spend time with every Tuesday evening—were on me. I heard a familiar voice approve of my costume. It was Danielle.
“Tremendous.”
Grant even joked that he thought for a second Violett Beane, the actress who plays Jesse Quick, had shown up to surprise them. “I was like, what’s Violett doing here?” he said.
I stood in the back row, happily sandwiched between Tom and Carlos. I dared to let my hands rest on their backs, and I couldn’t contain my joy. Shortly after, when I received my near-instant physical photograph of the moment, I saw Tom had pointed at me. In my mind, it felt as if in his gesture, he meant, hey, look at this cool person. Haha. I couldn’t be further from it.
I would go on to further be uncool in public as I later found myself virtually shaking and almost hyperventilating in line for a one-on-one photo op with Tom. The guy dressed as Kid Flash behind me gave me a few encouragements of the “it’ll be okay” variety. As my turn finally arrived, the lovely man of the hour greeted me with a bright smile in recognition of my Reverse Flash T-shirt (I had done a quick change before this photo op because I had worn a Flash T-shirt for a photo with Grant).
“Great shirt!”
The internet comes up with many hilarious and fitting words, but none such so than the term “Cavanarms.” One of the said Cavanarms found its way around my shoulder in such a casual way. My hand rested on his back, and I have told anyone who will listen about how soft his sweater was. What was approximately a five-second interaction will stay with me forever. And to this day, I will always regret how I’m standing beside him in the picture—there’s a distinguishable gap between us. I could have been closer—should have been!—but I like to use the fact that I felt as if I’d combust into flames if I were any closer to the man.
Maybe I’d have another chance to combust later again that day because, believe it or not, this fan hadn’t had enough of seeing Mr. Cavanagh in person. And since he was appearing at the con for this day only, there was no way I was going to squander any opportunities. Besides, there was still one final thing left on my convention docket: the autograph. In my mind, going to get his autograph was an excuse to get to talk to him and simply be in his presence for longer than five seconds. Here, take my money. I’m a sucker, and I’m proud of it. I saved all year for this kind of thing, and Fan Expo has always been my ultimate nerdy Treat Yoself Day.
Plus, this year I came equipped with a question for Tom (something for which I may have prepared a little too far in advance).
“Which of your characters would win in a lawyering battle: Ed or Miles?”
Miles was Tom’s latest character from his newly released project Darrow & Darrow, a fellow lawyer as Ed Stevens (remember, the man who ruins women’s expectations of men?), whom he portrayed almost two decades prior. What I loved about Tom when I got to ask him this was that he was silent for a moment following the question. He was genuinely putting thought into my question. As he pondered, Tom continued to autograph the photo of us together taken mere hours ago.
“Ed. He would wipe the floor with that other guy. Like, Miles is great, but Ed has a rapier-sharp mind, you know?”
I wholeheartedly agreed with his answer and felt relieved inside for some reason. We thanked each other (as politely as two Canadians can) before I left him to pay attention to the next lucky soul in line. I made the mistake of casting my eyes downward at the signed photo.
Tom had signed two little hearts over the I’s in my name. He really needed to stop adding hearts to my things, or I was just going to melt to the floor. In fact, I started to make these strange noises as I tried not to completely maul everyone in front of me while exiting. My friend ushered me as fast as physically possible on our way out of the main hall. One man took one look at me and asked, “Are you okay?”
No.
“Yep!”
The second I made it out of the herd, I broke out into open space. First came the minor hyperventilating. Then came the squealing followed by laughter. Top it off with various fangirlish comments of, “He’s so beautiful!”, “His eyes are so blue!” and “I love him!” and I was probably quite the sight to see (but at a convention, that’s considered normal!). My friend smiled on as she let me express everything that I had to keep inside until I had the right time to expel my emotions. I was on cloud nine. Ten, if at all possible.
The next day would be the con’s final day, which I would attend alone. My friend needed to catch the ferry in order to prepare for her courses the day after. I did a scan of the convention hall one final time in case there was something I missed purchasing. Afterwards, I sat on the cold hard flooring of the convention centre hallway for a bit of a break. I was wiped out. With my phone in hand, I smiled at the messages from this one Tumblr blogger who had been following my posted adventures at the con. I had seen and replied to many of her comments on my stories I’d written thus far, and I enjoyed her matching enthusiasm for Tom and The Flash in general. I felt her to be a kindred spirit. I had no idea then that I was chatting with one of my future best friends, L.
***
I spotted her.
She was wearing an identical shirt to the one I had on—a light grey T-shirt with a sequinned Spider-Man mask in the corner, which around it read, We met on the Web. A giddy me couldn’t wait for the short escalator ride to end. Her back was to me and facing the baggage claim, so here was my chance to surprise her instead.
I towered over my friend, E, and donned a low, authoritative voice.
“Excuse me, Miss, can you come with me?”
She squealed a greeting to me and I returned it as we hugged for the very first time after two and a half years of online friendship. We would still have about two hours to kill until our mutual Tumblr best friend, L, touched down at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport from across the Pond.
Something I noticed was that E and I carried on talking during our wait like it was second nature, that we hung out like this all the time. Whereas when I met L in person for the first time the year previously, our first meeting was that of quiet, delighted shock, unknowing how to react to one another’s physical presence. It almost felt like a fantasy. The closest thing we’d ever gotten to this was visiting over video chats! I’m not sure what each of these different reactions in these separate meetings meant, but what I do know is that I’ve never had such strong female friendships such as these—so full of uplifting support and love for one another. They are the greatest ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.
And as a searching L eventually turned the corner to meet us in the Arrivals terminal, I caught sight of her Tom & Grant bandana tied around the handle to her carry-on bag. It was an item she had received in return for helping fund the short film produced in 2018 (I’d bought the ringtone). Seeing the accessory jolted me to remember that the former of the titular short was the reason for this long-awaited get-together holiday in the Windy City in the first place. Tom Cavanagh, unbeknownst to him, had just officially united three online friends, each from a different country, to spend six full days of in-person bonding and a whole lot of fun.
***
I should have been shelving books.
I should have been doing a lot of library-related tasks, but my head was elsewhere. Anywhere other than the small-town public library where I work. Instead, I sat on the carpeted floor of the Junior/Young Adult section with my phone in hand and a dreadful article title staring back at me.
“The Flash: Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh to Exit after 7 Seasons.”
My world felt like it was falling apart.
Tom was leaving? There had been rumours and wonderings spreading around the fandom regarding whether he was leaving the show. With a storyline ending with a monumental sacrifice and a time-travelling man saying his farewells, it all seemed to point to the fact. I should have known… I could have rivalled Supergirl as being the Paragon of Hope after all the optimism I doled out to my followers and friends who would come to me worried Tom would exit the show. I would always give reasons to deny such a thing could happen, claiming that I’d believe when I saw it.
Well, there it was, and I definitely saw it.
One could feel the ripple effect over the internet of the shards of broken and riled-up hearts around the world.
Tom’s exit was on his terms, having not felt challenged by his character’s plotlines, as mentioned in a recent Entertainment Weekly article. As a viewer—and I am a viewer (Mike and Tom Eat Snacks, anyone?), it has been increasingly difficult to look past the missed shots made by story editors and showrunner, so understandably, the actor would want to seek something more exciting and meatier. That said, Tom has always shone on-screen and taken what he’s been given in stride. He turns unearthed material into diamonds and indeed shines on screen. Steals it, even! Tom easily makes the episodes he’s in better, and when he’s missing, you feel the loss. The few episodes of Season 7 without him only give us a tiny hint at how the show will be without him going forward. It much resembles when you might bring out your favourite jigsaw puzzle, only to find that the one piece you need to complete it isn’t there.
***
On a personal note, as I write this, I am roughly 20 followers away from reaching a milestone of 2,000. I have written well over 200 stories for The Flash alone (whether they be short or long, one-shots or chaptered), and goodness knows how many words I’ve generated altogether over the course of these many years with inspiration from the show and my favourite character. I’ve written and co-written novel-length stories, one monumental Wellsian story of which was done alongside L and E (almost solely done through alternating text messaging in the app, Line) that reached over 108,000 words and consisted of 42 chapters. And when I’m not writing for my blog, I’m also working on trying to accomplish my dream of becoming a published author. Just as I thought before I launched my Tumblr blog, I think again now: Might as well give it a shot, right?
***
I have watched virtually everything Tom has been in that I could get my hands on, both physically and electronically. Sure, a few titles are out of my reach and probably lost to the very early 90's forever, but from what I've seen through Tom's filmography is enough to know that he can do anything. He can play the romantic leading man that will make you fall head over heels for him or a deranged killer that will have you genuinely scared of him. That is talent. Tom always brings something new to the table from each role to the next, and (when he's not playing those psycho killers) you can't help but admire his craft.
Not only is his acting stellar, but from what we as fans have gathered on the man, Tom has got to be one of the kindest men in the business. His humour and sheer ridiculousness could get anyone through a tough time (we’ve seen plenty of bloopers and behind-the-scenes videos to prove this!). He has clearly bottled and stored an endless supply of Fountain of Youth™ and each year continues to wow us with his handsomeness. Tom is charming, dedicated, and yes, arguably holds the world record for Bluest Eyes.
In my eyes, Tom Cavanagh gave me the two best friends I could have ever asked for, as well as plenty more lovely friends I’ve continued to make online. (One day, I hope to meet him again so that I can tell him in person how because of him, I’ve met such very important people in my life). Through Tom, I have truly found my passion for writing, and in doing so, segued me to dare to dream of becoming a published novelist. I wholeheartedly believe all of this would not have happened if it weren’t for those first series of events that led me to meet Tom and love and admire him immensely. He is indisputable proof that there are indeed men like him out there. Indeed, he did ruin all of my future expectations of men. He ruined my life in the absolute best way and I am eternally grateful.
I am very much looking forward to what Tom will do next. I think it’s rather needless to say that I will follow him in his career, as he has gained a devoted fan for life. He represents so much to me and so much of it I have gained since meeting him that fateful day, when I thought to myself, Maybe I should buy this T-shirt and get this guy to sign it. Wherever Tom goes in life, I’ll be here to cheer him on.
I have a pretty good feeling plenty of others will, too.
#i don't exactly want to tag this with his name#but this is a personal essay of sorts regarding tom cavanagh's effect on my life#if you decide to read I hope you enjoy it!

More kids pt. 3
Elijah Aiden Snow-West
Iris West and Caitlin Snow’s adopted kid
He was adopted into the family when he was six years old
He was in the system
Iris was the one who saved him when she was on a lead and witnessed his foster mother abusing him
He was only supposed to stay in the Snow-West household until they could find him another foster family that would be better for him
He didn’t want to go though as he only trusted Iris and, then, Caitlin
Iris and Caitlin got their license on becoming foster parents as soon as they decided they wanted Aiden in their lives
At this point, Iris and Caitlin were not yet married
He was born on September 19, 2016 and came into the Iris and Caitlin’s lives on April 7, 2022
He was officially adopted on 22 December, 2030
He was fourteen years old
It was about a month before Iris and Caitlin got married
After they got married, he immediately took the name Snow-West
He’d been a West before that but felt like he wasn’t honoring Caitlin even though she’d been just as bit a mom to him as Iris has been
He felt like an outsider in his family because it seemed everyone had a purpose
Everyone was either a science genius or working for the police
If not, then they’re a reporter, like his mom
He felt so out of place with wanting to become a filmmaker
It was his Papa Joe that talked to him about having his own purpose
“You don’t have to become someone you don’t want to be just because you want people to accept you. We all accept you. If you want to be an artist? Then hold on to that passion and make the best out of it. Make what you got somethin’ special.”
He’s currently in college
He applied to a lot of film schools across the country
Somehow, NYU accepted him
His mother flicks ear. “Of course you got in!”
He never knew about his cousins’ powers and nightly activities until he was sixteen years old
He was kidnapped by an evil speedster who he later learned was Reverse Flash
With the whole Team Flash + the kids working frantically to save him, Reverse Flash revealed that they are both from the same family tree
It turns out his birth father was a relative of Eddie Thawne and his family name was supposed to be Thawne but his birth mother was never married to his birth father and that’s why his last name on his birth certificate was Andersen
By the time Team Flash saves him, he’s catatonic at learning he’s related to a psychopathic maniac
The next day, he goes crazy and becomes solely focused on ending his life to end his lineage so Reverse Flash won’t exist until Iris has to talk to him
She explains that Eobard isn’t directly related to him; another relative from the present, Eddie Thawne, was the one who carried on the line to Eobard, not him
“Please. Stop this. I already lost so many friends to the Reverse Flash. I’m not losing my son to him too.”
Wanting to distance himself from Eobard, he insisted that everyone call him Aiden instead of Elijah, which is what everyone used to call him
When he has to, he’s in STAR Labs, helping out any of his cousins on the comms even though he’s not the greatest at it
But he spends most of his time in New York so it isn’t unlikely to happen anyway unless one of his cousins or Uncle Barry himself flashes him back to Central City
The first cousin he ever got close to was William
They bonded over feeling like they don’t belong due to their lack of meta or alien powers
He used to be jealous of the powered bunch but after what happened to JJ...
He’s content with who and what he is
During the dark ages for heroes, when hope dwindled and the public lost trust in heroes, he was the spark that reignited the public to start trusting in heroes again
He did this by making a montage of heroes saving the world time and time again, heroes when they fail, heroes in their most vulnerable, heroes being human
Iris and Caitlin make sure he can defend himself when he can so Connor gave him the basics on self-defense
Cisco made a small gun that paralyzes anyone for a few minutes to give him a chance to run away
Iris is “Momma”
Caitlin is “Mom”

3 times Bette was afraid to touch Barry and the one time she wasn’t
Obvious AU where Bette is still alive. I felt that there was some potential with her so here it is.
Their was a loud crash bang, but Bette didn't even look up. Probably another brawl between the new recruits. No one wanted to use the tazer less they accidentally shock themselves when she tried to head butt them.
It had been days since she been in the normal world, and she was slowly accepting this was what her life was going to be like until she died or until she gave in.
She had been dead for precisely a day before returning back to life. According to Eiling, she had been shot and blown up. But with the help of a man named Savage, they connected to a group called the Time Masters and hired the Pilgrim.
The Pilgrim was a woman able to stop time, another meta-human of some sort, and she went to the split second after Flash had run off and she blew up. Retrieved her body and with some extensive bomb-detonations, DNA analysts, and other stuff that Eiling didn't comprehend well enough to explain to her, she was alive.
Bette couldn't really wrap her mind around the whole Time Masters thing, and Savage or the Pilgrim but she chose not to dwell on it. After all she could make explosives with everything she touched who was she to judge.
The one thing Eiling made sure to keep were her powers. Unpredictable as ever. She had been too dazed and confused to really fight back when they brought her into the room.
The room was large, probably ten feet wide, ten feet in length. All white with padded grey walls and a large see-through window spanning the front next to the door.
They put her in the middle of the room. Strapped her to two chains hanging from ceiling into a elevated T or crucification-position. It prevented her from being able to move her hands around to touch the chains on her wrists or touch anyone/thing else.
She was hanging with no firm grip on the ground and she teetered on the toes of her boots. Preventing her from getting enough leverage to make a proper kick or at least that would make an impact.
She stayed in this position for hours on end, her back straining and arms aching from being stretched as her body longed to touch the ground. They wouldn't even let her eat with her hands, they spoon-fed her and gave her water. She was only unstrapped to go to the bathroom.
Which was a toilet and sink located at the upper right corner of the room. She was thankful that no perved had decided to look but it was still degrading. Treated like a wild animal, and going without the privacy of a stall.
Eiling was determined as ever to make her into a weapon, and he hadn't let up his threat that he would force her. Every day she would be tazered, hit, kicked, and water boarded.
This wasn't new for her, she had dealt with this while she had been serving on the Gulf Cost. Interrogation techniques and pain and she had become immune to most of them. She took comfort with the fact that they wanted her alive to be their living weapon so as she gasped and panicked for breath as the water bag placed over her head, suffocating her. She remembered they wouldn't go that far.
Although sometimes she wanted to give in, such as the nights they tried the sleep deprivation tactic, brights lights, loud noises, cold water splashed over her every time she was about to nod off. What would happen if she said yes?
Maybe they would finally unstrapped her? Maybe they would let her go into a regular room and sleep for once and maybe get a home and call me and special missions? Finally know what the date is?
Those thoughts were quickly pushed out when she reminded herself that as a living weapon, they wouldn't see her as a person.
Only a fighting machine. They wouldn't let her go back to her old life nor help her control her powers. It wasn't worth losing her humanity and independence to fight enemies if she didn't get a say in it.
She had joined the army to fight for the American way, but fighting for the government. She had a feeling fighting solely for the government might be killing more than terrorists but more anyone who tried to fight against it's precious leaders. Her stubbornness kicked in and she used all her will and tactics she learned at training to refuse.
"One thing different in this scenario," Bette snorted to herself, "There's no army to come looking for me. No one even knows I'm alive."
The crash sounded again, along with Eiling shouting and Bette curiously looked up.
She saw a red blur rush through the facility and Bette gasped. The familiar red blur, who had tried to help her all those days, possibly months ago.
He had honestly tried to help her with her powers, and one of the only ones who didn't look at her with absolute fear when he found out about her powers.
Flash looked through the window at her. He knocked Eiling's head against the glass and kicked open the door.
"Flash" she whispered, horsely. She jingled the chains uselessly and cringed as her torso recoiled in pain.
"Bette you're alive!?" Flash asked incredulous.
"Clearly," Bette snapped, Flash unsnapped the chain and she fell to the ground.
"Let me help.." Flash reached for her hand.
"Don't touch me," she hissed, scorching away from him, "I can handle myself."
She gripped her hands tightly, making sure not touch the floor, and pulled herself up by her elbows. Then promptly felt a searing pain in her ribs and buckled to the floor.
"Bette, we need you to get you out of here. You can't walk." Flash insisted as she crawled on her elbows and knees to the door.
"I don't have gloves on. I don't want to hurt you." Bette hissed.
"I can handle this, come on" he tried to reached under arm and attempted to get her to standing position but she kept squirming out of his grasp.
"Trust me." The speedster said with urgency. Bette looked at him, and relaxed her muscles. If anyone would get her out of this. He would.
She offered him her wrist. He took it and took her to the outside world in a woosh of air.
She found out it was 2016, she had spent two years in that place and has sustained from 7 cracked ribs, a severe concussion, a slight fear of water, broken ankle and dislocated knee cap.
There had been other people kept captive at the place, but she had been the only one to stick around with Team Flash.
Caitlin offered her a new set of gloves and although she couldn't participate in missions until she was healed, she helped out the Labs with random jobs and surveillance.
It had been quite dull, but once she was fully healed from her injuries, Cisco suggested as a professional trained solider, that she could teach them to fight better.
She had been training them but Caitlin and Cisco soon ducked out after the first session, claiming that their expertise lied behind the computer screen and they rather be able to sit on their chairs without sore butts.
Barry, she learned his name was, continue to train with her since he was the one doing most of the fighting. She had to admit, despite some posture and technique problems since he depended on his speed, but he had the basic skills down and the superspeed reflexes helped him a lot.
"Okay Bette, stop I'm woah" he ducked her roundhouse kick "I'm done."
"It's only been 20 minutes," Bette protested, taking another head-butt at him. It felt so good to be exercising again.
"Can you let it up a little?" Barry asked.
"Do you think Zoom would let it up a little?" She elbowed him in the shoulder.
"Fine," He panted, and aimed another upper cut at her. It would have been an easy block, but she hesitated and he sent flat on the ground.
"What happened there, bombshell?" Barry asked as she got up. She smirked, Cisco had started to nickname her Bombshell after she explained that one of her best talents in the army was as a bomb detonator.
"Nothing. I mean.. I would have blocked it, but you know...hands. I'm so used to touching myself." She cringed, "Sorry that sounded so wrong."
"Well you have your gloves now. So come on throw something at me. Punch.” "I'm okay, really." Bette wiped her pants.
"Oh come on punch me. You've got to get use to touching things again, so try to hit me." Barry insisted.
"It's fine, I'll stick to kicking."
"Bette," Barry whined, exaggeratedly "Punch me. It's not hard. I won't even defend myself. See" he clasped his hands behind his back.
"Even more of a reason not to," Bette protested with the image of his head exploding into a thousand little pieces.
"But I'm use to it. It'll be fine. People punched me lots of times" He grabbed her wrist, and attempted to squash it against his face.
"Then have them do it. I'm not going to," She pulled her hands back. "You can't fight without punching people" Barry chided, shoving her backwards.
"Really? Because I was beating your ass two seconds ago." Bette snorted, dogging another swipe at her. She tried to flip his legs with her own when he grabbed hers midway and threw her over.
"Oh look who's beating your ass now," Barry taunted, as she tried to up kick him again, once more with the same results and again.
"Damn Bette, keep fighting like this and we'll have your butt imprint on the floor." Bette growled in frustration.
He kept knocking her over and circling around her with his damn superspeed until she finally snapped and sent a smooth undercut to his jaw.
He fell to the floor with a thud, Bette bend down to his side,
"Oh my god, Barry I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it so hard!"
"You did it" he cheered with such a happy grin that Bette had to laugh "Great job," He reached for a high five.
"'Another time" Bette glanced wearily at his hand and cracked her knuckles -
Eight weeks later, Barry had taken to what he called Operation Touchy and Bette sincerely wished he would choose a new name.
Ever since the punching incident he felt that she had to get acquainted with physical contact again and every week, after training he would "introduce" her to a new sense of touch. After punching, it had been slapping, after that it had been handshakes. It was sort of ridiculous and unneeded if you asked her but he kept trying.
There was another factor too.
The more time she spent with him, the more she came to admire him. She didn't want to admit it, but she was starting to get a small crush. At first she had tried to convince herself it was a misplaced feeling and that she only was grateful for helping her, no love whatsoever.
Besides he was dating Patti, she was not that kind of girl to ruin someone's relationship. He would be better off with Patti, she was as normal and awkward as he was. They were perfect together.
But then they started to get to know each other. That was one way not to get over someone. He started to tell her about his mother and how he had come to live with the Wests. He talked about his bio-engineer dreams, and school and how he used to get bullied when he was younger.
He also introduced her to some of his favorite shows, and after he found out she had no idea who Dan and Phil where they spent the entire afternoon looking up videos. He would send an occasional but very energetic email, saying "THEY POSTED A NEW ONE? IT'S HILARIOUS GO LOOK? LOL FUNNY!"
She admired his optimism very much, she never met anyone so happy, and it brightened her day to hear him crack a joke in midst pressure. One time he had sent a Dubsmash of him dancing to Gangam Style/Harlem Shake/Whip n Nae Nae and she almost collapsed on the floor, laughing.
She had never seen anything like a grown male attempting whip Gangam style then do the worm and trip over a bowl of popcorn.
Today he "introduced" her to poking. Which she was pretty sure just an excuse for him to annoy her.
Afterwards he invited her to watch Mean Girls at the Lab because Patti was working a night shift.
"Isn't this a chick flick?" Bette asked as he placed a bowl of popcorn on the desktop.
"Well, yeah but it's written by Tina Fey!" She looked at him blankly "And stars Lindsey Lohan" he added like those two names would be an obvious answer to why a PG-13 move from the early 200s would be so awesome.
"Watch and you'll understand," He sat on the rolling chair beside her and accidentally knocked his knee against hers. An act that shouldn't have been so electrifying for her but it was. She blushed and grabbed a handful of popcorn.
Bette felt a little disappointed that he didn't seem to have noticed their knees touching but she hissed at herself, "Patti Patti Patti Patti.” "What was that?" He asked her.
"Nothing" Bette chirped, and blushed again.
Eventually she fell asleep at some part about a Halloween party and she thrashed restlessly. She had been having nightmares ever since she got her powers, usually world-about-to-end-all-thanks-to-her-types but sometimes she had general ones of fallen friends as their body parts were sent flying fifty feet in the air or when they were beheaded and militated by the Taliban.
Currently it was a flashback to being water boarded, over but this time Eiling wasn't letting up. She felt the burn of his bullet going into her chest.
"Wake up!" A disembodied voice called and she woke up. Barry was holding her by the shoulders and shaking her awake. "Are you okay? You were about to fall off your chair."
"Uh yeah, a nightmare. Regular PTSD stuff, ignore me." Bette waved him off and tried to settle herself back into a comfortable position.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked.
"No. I'd rather not, I, Eiling that..um. Death hurts nothing much you can say about that.”
"Right, I get it" Barry nodded sagely. He reached his arms around her and she stiffened, unsure what to do.
"Now this is called hugging" Barry said, soothingly, stroking her hair. She felt her heart flutter a bit as his warm chest rested against hers, with his soft even breathing.
Slowly she put her hands around his back and rested her chin in the crook of his neck. He was so warm and so soft.
But like all things it had to end, and Bette wanted to slow the rapid flutterings in her stomach. "It meant nothing, just friend hugging a friend. He has a lovely girlfriend of his own who deserves him" she thought to herself.
But "I think I like hugging the best so far" she added shyly Barry grinned, "Me too, it's a lot less painful than slapping." ————
She had been about to leave S.T.A.R. Labs after Barry had returned from saving the subway when she spotted him, sitting melancholy on the patient table.
"Hey Barry, are you okay?" She asked him softly He sat silent.
"Did someone die? Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. "Patti," he sighed deeply.
It had been a month since Patti broke up with him, but he still had hurt feelings. She couldn't blame him, he had been over the moon with her but all the secret keeping and lies took a toll. Despite her feelings she hadn't want them to break up because of it. She actually encouraged him to tell her but it all came too late.
"Sometimes I feel like, I won't be enough for anyone. I'm too secretive. My intelligence scares them off. I'm too much like one of the girls. I've always been friend-zoned." Bette frowned, he must not only be talking about Patti,Iris was in this too.
"And then, I always make such lame excuses and jokes." This was more than the break-up, this was his whole self-esteem in the balance.
"Every time I try to find someone, I do but I end up losing them or endangering all the rest of the female population finds me utterly disgusting!"
Bette couldn't stand to see him like this. He resembled a symbol of hope and life to almost everyone in Central City, and although he couldn't save everyone he tried. He cared and he should know this.
"Barry, I want you to listen to me. Although it feels like it. You can't hold all the faults of the relationship on your shoulders. It's a relationship, a bond between TWO people. So for every mistake you made she made one too, it's not entirely one. Furthermore you're an amazing person Barry Allen.
You have more sense of fairness and justice in you than most people have in their pinkie. You want a fair trial, and you always put 110% in what you do. Believe me, people appreciate that. And in terms of people you care about. Barry you are the sweetest being in the universe. You cheer people up, you reason and sympathize with their troubles. What woman wouldn't love that about you. Know what else they would love about you, let's review" she started counting off her fingers.
"Singing voice is angelic, body 12 out of a scale of ten, your intelligence is outstanding and there is nothing cuter than when you start talking about what you love, you put your friends before your self and that's always very admirable, and most importantly you never stop being you. Which is what every girl looks for. That's true honesty."
Barry looked at her, mouth agape. "You're talking about me?" "Of course I am.” And for once, Bette didn't think about her hands or touching or anything else in the world. She only saw him and all the traits she had described. The incredibly smart, geeky man who saved the world on a daily basis. The man who had helped her in the darkest time and always looked at her with a smile.
She pulled his head closer to hers, gently caressing his cheek as she stared into his piercing brown eyes, and kissed him.
She pulled back, looking at his face for his reaction. "Thanks for what you said" Barry said, looking away.
Bette felt her heart dropped down to the floor, he didn't feel the same way, this was so embarrassing. Even if she had been gone for two years she doubted that people suddenly kissed to cheer friends up. She moved to leave.
"Now may introduce you to French kissing?" he asked. Bette turned back to him, and saw his eyes shining. "Yes" She pulled him closer, and fell into a tight, comforting embrace.

Seth Grahame-Smith, who will serve as showrunner on the live-action Green Lantern show ordered to series at HBO Max, was once tapped by Warner Bros. to direct long-stalled DCEU movie The Flash. Like the ring-wielding and super-speedster superheroes who are frequently paired together in the DC comic books, the histories of the Green Lantern and Flash projects intertwine: producer Greg Berlanti and executive producer Marc Guggenheim were attached to a version of the Flash movie in 2010. In June of that year, Warner Bros. hired Berlanti, Guggenheim, and Michael Green, screenwriters of the Green Lantern feature film starring Ryan Reynolds, to develop Green Lantern 2 and The Flash.
Neither project moved forward. Green Lantern lacked willpower, bombing at the box office in the summer of 2011, and the embryonic version of The Flash languished in development hell for years. It wasn't until 2014, when Ezra Miller won the role of scarlet speedster Barry Allen, that Flash found new life with a 2018 release date.
That development came after The CW launched The Flash television show, starring Grant Gustin and produced by Berlanti, in October of that year. WB went on to name 10 DC movies that same month, including Zack Snyder's Justice League Part Two (2019), Cyborg (2020), and a rebooted Green Lantern Corps (2020).
One year later, Grahame-Smith, the writer behind Dark Shadows and Abraham Lincon: Vampire Hunter, was hired to make his feature directorial debut with the Miller-starring Flash movie. Grahame-Smith boarded the project as writer-director at a time when it was working from a treatment penned by The LEGO Movie duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who opted to direct Disney's Solo: A Star Wars Story instead.
At the time dated March 3, 2018, Flash suffered a setback when Grahame-Smith exited the project over "creative differences" in April 2016. That blow came just one month after Miller made his first appearance — in the form of a cameo — in Snyder's Justice League precursor Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Months later, Warners found their replacement in Dope director Rick Famuyiwa. He, too, would go on to depart Flash over creative differences. Following another change of hands, this time to Game Night filmmakers Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, Flash found its footing with IT director Andy Muschietti in late 2019.

The Flash
The Flash (or simply Flash) is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert, the original Flash first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (cover date January 1940/release month November 1939). Nicknamed the "Scarlet Speedster", all incarnations of the Flash possess "super speed", which includes the ability to run, move, and think extremely fast, use superhuman reflexes, and seemingly violate certain laws of physics.
Thus far, at least four different characters—each of whom somehow gained the power of "the speed force"—have assumed the mantle of the Flash in DC's history: college athlete Jay Garrick (1940–1951, 1961–2011, 2017–present), forensic scientist Barry Allen (1956–1985, 2008–present), Barry's nephew Wally West (1986–2011, 2016–present), and Barry's grandson Bart Allen (2006–2007). Each incarnation of the Flash has been a key member of at least one of DC's premier teams: the Justice Society of America, the Justice League, and the Teen Titans.
The Flash is one of DC Comics' most popular characters and has been integral to the publisher's many reality-changing "crisis" storylines over the years. The original meeting of the Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick and Silver Age Flash Barry Allen in "Flash of Two Worlds" (1961) introduced the Multiverse storytelling concept to DC readers, which would become the basis for many DC stories in the years to come.
Like his Justice League colleagues Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman, the Flash has a distinctive cast of adversaries, including the various Rogues (unique among DC supervillains for their code of honor) and the various psychopathic "speedsters" who go by the names Reverse-Flash or Zoom. Other supporting characters in Flash stories include Barry's wife Iris West, Wally's wife Linda Park, Bart's girlfriend Valerie Perez, friendly fellow speedster Max Mercury, and Central City police department members David Singh and Patty Spivot.
A staple of the comic book DC Universe, the Flash has been adapted to numerous DC films, video games, animated series, and live-action television shows. In live-action, Barry Allen has been portrayed by Rod Haase for the 1979 television special Legends of the Superheroes, John Wesley Shipp in the 1990 The Flash series and Grant Gustin in the 2014 The Flash series, and by Ezra Miller in the DC Extended Universe series of films, beginning with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Shipp also portrays a version of Jay Garrick in the 2014 The Flash series. The various incarnations of the Flash also feature in animated series such as Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Young Justice, as well as the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series.
> Powers and abilities
All incarnations of the Flash can move, think, and react at light speeds as well as having superhuman endurance that allows them to run incredible distances. Some, notably later versions, can vibrate so fast that they can pass through walls in a process called quantum tunneling, travel through time and can also lend and borrow speed. Speedsters can also heal more rapidly than an average human. In addition, most incarnations have an invisible aura around their respective bodies that protects them from air friction and the kinetic effects of their powers.
On several occasions, the Flash has raced against Superman, either to determine who is faster or as part of a mutual effort to thwart some type of threat; these races, however, often resulted in ties because of outside circumstances. Writer Jim Shooter and artist Curt Swan crafted the story "Superman's Race With the Flash!" in Superman #199 (Aug. 1967) which featured the first race between the Flash and Superman. Writer E. Nelson Bridwell and artist Ross Andru produced "The Race to the End of the Universe", a follow-up story four months later in The Flash #175 (Dec. 1967). However, after the DC Universe revision after Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Flash does successfully beat Superman in a race in Adventures of Superman #463 with the explanation that Superman is not accustomed to running at high speed for extended periods of time since flying is more versatile and less strenuous, which means the far more practiced Flash has the advantage. After Final Crisis in Flash: Rebirth #3 the Flash is shown as being significantly faster than Superman, able to outrun him as Superman struggles to keep up with him. He reveals that all the close races between them before had been "for charity". In the Smallville episode "Run", Flash is not only able to run faster than a pre-Superman Clark Kent but can match Clark's top speed while running backwards.
While various incarnations of the Flash have proven their ability to run at light speed, the ability to steal speed from other objects allows respective Flashes to even significantly surpass this velocity. In Flash: The Human Race Wally is shown absorbing kinetic energy to an extent enabling him to move faster than teleportation and run from the end of the universe back to earth in less than a Planck instant (Planck time).
Speedsters may at times use the ability to speed-read at incredible rates and in doing so, process vast amounts of information. Whatever knowledge they acquire in this manner is usually temporary. Their ability to think fast also allows them some immunity to telepathy, as their thoughts operate at a rate too rapid for telepaths such as Martian Manhunter or Gorilla Grodd to read or influence their minds.
Flashes and other super-speedsters also have the ability to speak to one another at a highly accelerated rate. This is often done to have private conversations in front of non-fast people (as when Flash speaks to Superman about his ability to serve both the Titans and the JLA in The Titans #2). Speed-talking is also sometimes used for comedic effect where Flash becomes so excited that he begins talking faster and faster until his words become a jumble of noise. He also has the ability to change the vibration of his vocal cords making it so he can change how his voice sounds to others.
While not having the physical strength of many of his comrades and enemies, Flash has shown to be able to use his speed to exert incredible momentum into physical attacks. In Injustice: Gods Among Us, Flash uses these kinds of attacks as many of his special moves.
The Flash has also claimed that he can process thoughts in less than an attosecond. At times he is able to throw lightning created by his super speed and make speed vortices.
Some flashes also have the ability to create speed avatars (i.e. duplicates) and these avatars have sometimes been sent to different timelines to complete a particular mission. (Barry Allen exhibits this ability in the live action series "The Flash").
He can also be seen negating the effects of the anti-life equation, when he freed Iris-West from its control (probably due to his connection with the speed force).
It is said that Wally West has reached the velocity of 23,759,449,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (about 24 tredecillion) × c (the speed of light) and he could only do this with the help of every human being on earth moving so the speed force was joined through everyone.[18] With that speed he was able to not only run from planet to planet but different galaxies and universes at what would be considered a blink of an eye.

Ten by Azkaabanter
Summary: Oliver's in Central City on Mayoral business, and to take a break from being the Green Arrow in Starling City for one month. Just one.His temporary office is in the crime lab of the CCPD, because what place in Central could be safer than the police station? And what room could be better than one he gets to share with the shy, nerdy, clumsy CSI?But Barry Allen isn't at all what he seems.Oliver can see if you're dangerous, it's a gift; a power.
A toddler... a one.

A hitman... a seven.
Barry Allen... a ten.
Last Update: 2018
Fandom & Main Pairing: The Flash/Arrow ; Flarrow
Personal Notes: I’d have kept this one if not for the fact that the 4th chapter isn’t actually a chapter but an update promising to finish the story and then it’s been another 2 years, lol.
Glow Worms by gurglesnaps
Summary: I knew this wasn't a good idea. None of Stiles' ideas ever were.
Last Update: 2016
Fandom & Main Pairing: Teen Wolf ; Sterek
Personal Notes: It is rare for me to so much as look at a fic written in first person, usually after the first paragraph I’ve noped out of it, it’s just not a tense I enjoy. But this fic not only caught my attention but I held onto it so that should tell you something. It’s only 3 chapters which is a disappointment.
Open Book by AggressiveWhenStartled
Summary: “If you jump out of this plane without a parachute one more time, I don’t know what I'm gonna do, but you will not like it.” Bucky yanked, hard, on one of the straps holding the parachute on—Steve gave a soft grunt of complaint. Bucky shot him a look and jerked it harder.
This work has been discontinued and has been completely rewritten as Closed Book. This is not a sequel, prequel, or otherwise related. Read Closed Book with the confidence it will conclude, but this is an older version of it and will not.
Last Update: 2017
Fandom & Main Pairing: The Avengers ; Stucky
Personal Notes: Pretty self explanatory on this one I think, lol. I haven’t read Closed Book yet but I loved what there was of open book so it’s def on my list to tackle next!
Hard to Breathe by sourwulfur
Summary: What with the Nemeton making things difficult for Stiles and the gang, a school project shoves Danny and Stiles into spending time together. That little push may be all it takes to start forming a bond as more than just classmates. Maybe Danny could be the one to help Stiles find a light in the dark where his friends are already succeeding.
Last Update: 2014
Fandom & Main Pairing: Teen Wolf ; Stanny? Diles? It’s such a rare pair I honestly don’t know.
Personal Notes: I think this might be the one and only fic I have ever read that was Danny x Stiles in my many many many many many many MANY years of reading teen wolf fanfic. It was decent, I liked where it was going, I just wish we’d gotten to the end. There’s like, 9 chapters but a lot is left up in the air so if you need closure, don’t even start this one.

Some Kind Of Madness by cutestpixieyoueversaw
Summary: ****WARNING: Story is currently being rewritten and organized until June/July 2018. Deletions and additions will happen in the meantime***Stiles apparently has a type. You know unfairly attractive for this worldly plane while having perhaps some of the best wit around? The kind of wit that could be spoken with only facial expressions. Bonus if they gave Einstein a run for his money. Oh he forgot to add Alpha because it was now a thing, perhaps even a kink if he was going to be really honest with himself.Or the one where Stiles realizes that his life should be a MTV show because the drama he has is worthy of cable television.Or the one where Stiles meets another pack and gets to understand that Bella and Sookie really had the worst luck ever and he is not them but really it's reading like he is. P.S. Tinkerbell is a bitch.
Last Update: 2014
Fandom & Main Pairing: Teen Wolf ; Sterek
Personal Notes: I feel like I remember liking this but it’s been so long and while it claims it’s being re-written, I’ve kinda just lost interest. Hopefully the revamped version is even better than the original and I def encourage y’all to give it a chance.
By All Four by Sunshineditty

No Longer Human by battlegod (Battle_god_Ye_Xiu)
Summary: He now understood why moths would flit towards a flame, pining for its warmth even as they caught fire. It was the irresistible attraction of light when one was surrounded by darkness. Reaching for the lone spark that shone at night, was that not the instinct of all living things?
Last Update: 2019
Fandom & Main Pairing: The King’s Avatar ; Huáng Shàotiān xYù Wénzhōu
Personal Notes: I’ve watched this drama like, 20 times but I’ve lost interest in fics pretty much. Mostly because it’s understandably hard to find anything in english, lol. We can’t all be Untamed.

Steve stared down at his phone, confused. He didn't recognize the number – except, oh wait, he really did. That was his number. On his phone. He flipped the phone over, then slid one hand down his face.
Not his phone.
“Fuck,” he muttered.
Last Update: 2018
Fandom & Main Pairing: Captain America ; Stucky
Personal Notes: It’s a cute start but not interesting enough for me to hold onto. Stucky is one of those....tangential pairings that is more I know a lot of people who ship it and the stories tend to be interesting so I’ll read it when I happen across something that catches my eye but I don’t like...go hunting for it.
two drums in the grey by brandywine421

“So why are you here?” Barry yawned.
“We’ve got a new speedster. Wally West,” Caitlin said, preemptively wincing.
Last Update: 2018
Fandom & Main Pairing: The Flash/Green Arrow ; Flarrow
Personal Notes: This is actually the second in a series, the first story is complete and I honestly don’t remember much about it but it must have been good if I subscribed to the sequel. So take that as you will, lol.
