Driving through Montana. Sooooooo many lovely clouds ⛅️ ♥️ driving in Montana is fun. It was more fun before they installed speed limit signs, but it's still very cool 😎

the cop that likes to set up a speed trap Directly behind my house was back last night. Why the fucker thinks he needs to throw on his sirens at ass o clock every time someone misses the slow down speed limit sign is beyond me. The neighbor dogs got into 10-30 min howling sessions as the lot of them kept eachother worked up Every Time super pig caught someone. That was not fun
This morning though. This morning. I was woken by my neighbor attempting to corrall one of her animals and or children back to her yard and out of mine. Which she has had to do many times before and she always does it in the same way.
By following it to where it's hiding under my back porch (directly below my bedroom window) and repeatedly saying "I love you" until it calms and comes out to her.
Terrible sleep experience 0/10 stars.

The weather app gave me the temperature in Fahrenheit this morning. I did not know how warm to dress. This is truly a backwards country.

I have lived in my flat since 2020 (Pro tip - do not move during a lockdown), and in that time, I have seen roughly two thousand and twenty* car accidents on the road I live on.
RIP little tree, we hardly knew ye.

thinking about this video i saw of a stand up comedian describing how people in different states drive and also about that post about how ethan painstakingly follows all rules of the road when driving not in a life or death situation. how ethan, who grew up driving a minivan in rural wisconsin, has driving chivalry ingrained into him. and now i can’t stop thinking about how when they’re not in a car chase or something he immediately reverts back to his roots and is an overly nice driver. & i think it’s funny because this would become a problem when he and benji go on vacation and ethan has to drive in city traffic but particularly if they went to mass, i think that within the first hour of driving there ethan would be near tears because he thinks everyone is being so mean. he can handle death threats and having a gun to his head and almost drowning but the second someone cuts him off and no one on the highway lets him merge he starts crying

Idk. I'm not a Car™ guy, I like a vroom vroom and the engineering that goes into them, but speed and power numbers just aren't that interesting to me so I don't pay much attention to them.
But just now i was watching this video where they were hyping how much this mustang build they have done was the Fastest™ car one of the crew members had ever been in. And they told the speed.
92mph.
And like. I know that a car getting Up to 92 eventually and a car getting there in like 7 seconds is the difference here. That is absolutely an extremely powerful vehicle.
But I live near one of the roads here in Texas where the speed limit is 75mph and the unofficial speed limit was for a long while "whatever your car can do" so I've put 92 down on basically every vehicle, besides my big beautiful van, that I have ever driven. so that 92 figure being their Peak and what they use to describe how cool this car is to a lay audience is Extremely funny.
92 mph, the same speed my 0 trade in value 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a grand time doing before she was Rudely removed from my possession(about a month before her breaks finally crapped out rip my beautiful Geri (short for geriatric)).
